We truly had a dream team behind us on our wedding day, and Jason was one of them! He was always open to any ideas I had, and also always made sure to check in with me to see if there were any additional photos I had in mind before moving to the next thing. As an interracial couple, it was important for us to have a photographer that could edit our photos well given the different skin tones, and he did an amazing job. He really embraced our winter wedding and trotted through the snow with us for some killer photos! There simply aren’t enough words to describe just how great Jason is to work with. We are so excited to see our wedding gallery, because based on the sneak peeks, I know it will be stunning. We look forward to working with him in the future as our family grows! We love you Jason!!

One thing I really appreciated about Jason was his ability to balance his own creative vision with the ideas we brought to the table. As the bride, I had a ton of Pinterest ideas that I was eager to see come to life, and Jason was more than happy to incorporate them into the shoot. But for the engagement photoshoot, I had NO idea what I wanted to do. Jason, completely unfazed, guided us through a 45-minute session with absolutely no direction from me—and the photos turned out gorgeous! If you’re worried about being awkward or not knowing what to do, Jason is great at guiding you through the process. He came prepared with prompts that really helped bring out those natural smiles and authentic moments between my husband and me. We felt comfortable and had a blast during both photo sessions. We found Jason through a friend’s wedding, and we loved his style so much that we knew he was the perfect fit for us. He worked seamlessly with our budget and the locations we chose, even though I was based in Fond du Lac, WI, and he’s out of Minneapolis, MN. As a huge fan of fall, I was thrilled with how Jason edited our photos to capture the warm, cozy vibes of the season. The colors and tones in our photos are exactly what I wanted, and they’ll be cherished for years to come. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better photographer. Jason was professional, friendly, and delivered beautiful images that captured our special day perfectly. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who’s not only talented but a total joy to work with! One thing we think could have been better was communication. There were a few times we had to follow up with double emails after waiting a week or two for a response. There was also one time we waited about a month for a reply, but since it was still four months before the wedding, it wasn’t too time-sensitive. But as the wedding day drew closer, communication improved. A little more communication leading up to the wedding would have been the cherry on top of an otherwise fantastic experience!
