About this vendor
Livi's Designs of Omaha, Nebraska aspires to create wedding and special occasion gowns that are elegant and practical for life through innovative designs that allow clients to express their own individuality. Livi's Designs alters gowns from other designers and stores. Livi's Designs has over 30 years of experience altering bridal and special occasion gowns. The business specializes in completing alteration tasks that other alterations specialists claim are too complicated to do.
In the new location, you will experience professional and personal attention from the head designer. All alterations and other services are completed on site, not transferred to a different location. The alterations specialists will treat your gown with individual care to insure that all work is of the highest quality. You may require multiple fittings to ensure a perfect fit for your big day.
Livi's Designs offers a selection of sashes, veils, headpieces, and jackets to complete your wedding look. If such an accessory is not in stock, Livi's Designs can custom design one for you.
We recommend brides schedule their first fitting 3 to 4 months before your wedding day, but this timeline can be extended or shortened due to the nature of the alterations. For bridesmaids or other special occasion gowns, we recommend to schedule the first fitting for 6-8 weeks before the event.
Clients should try to arrive 10-15 minutes early for an appointment with all undergarments you wish to wear with your gown and your shoes. During your fitting, we will pin your gown to your body shape, making sure that you are happy and comfortable in your gown. We may suggest doing your alterations in stages so we can concentrate on one area of your gown at a time because changes made to one area of your gown can affect other areas.
During your fitting, we will make our recommendations for what work needs to be done. You, however, are in complete control of your alterations services and will have the final say for what services we will provide. We want you to be happy, confident, and comfortable in you final gown.
At Livi's Designs, our goals is to make your dream gown a reality! We look forward to helping make your wedding day perfect!

n flinch when I told them when I'd need my dress by! She fit me in the next day & made me feel so confident they'd have it done in time - and she did! I squeezed in 4 appointments in less than 2 months & my dress came out beautiful! It was originally too large, so they took it in (a lot!), adding a layer of sparkle tulle, hemmed it, added bra cups, & added a bustle. The dress was stunning & fit perfectly on my wedding day! I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! THANK YOU!

. She broke it down by item, and it was clear how the pricing was determined.
She was incredibly flexible with my ever unpredictable work schedule. Even when I was feeling moments of panic about our tight timeline, she was always calm. She is very critical of her own work, but listened to my concerns and my thoughts. Libia cared for me like I was family, and I would recommend anyone and everyone to work with her.
