Liz and Ryan

Liz and Ryan took beautiful pictures of us for our engagement and wedding. Before our engagement session, they spoke with us on the phone a few times to understand our relationship and what we wanted to capture in our photos. During the session, they took us to multiple locations in Baltimore that had significance for us and added a few suggestions of their own that had good lighting, cool background, etc. Before our wedding, we communicated much more intensely with them. They asked us to complete a lengthy survey which seemed like maybe a bit much at the time but helped ensure that we had all of the pictures we wanted on the day of (all of the family, bridal party, friend combinations got to be kind of confusing). Even though it rained on our wedding day, they stood out in the rain with us so that we could get pictures at some of the spots we had picked and made sure I had a towel to stand on, umbrella over my hair, etc. It was definitely good to have two photographers because Liz took closer pictures and Ryan captured the same shot from further away or vice versa. While my husband and I were getting ready separately, and during the cocktail hour and reception, having two photographers meant that more moments were captured. After our engagement photos and wedding, Liz and Ryan got our pictures back to us even more quickly than they promised and the pictures were BEAUTIFUL!!! They captured the artistic details like our rings with the invitation and my dress, the rain bouncing off of the puddle as it came out of the gutter, etc. We easily had a couple thousand pictures and when we tried to cull down our "favorites" list we still had several hundred. One thing we really appreciated was that Liz and Ryan set up a laptop in the bar area at our reception so that we and our guests could preview a slideshow of some of the pictures from the ceremony and getting ready. I would definitely recommend Liz and Ryan to document your engagement and your special day. They were very professional and delivered high-quality work. They were both very fun to work with and helped relax us during both events.

I truly do not have one bad thing to say about Liz and Ryan. They were absolutely amazing!!!! I'll start off by saying that I was looking at other photographers in the area who more more expensive for a single shooter! Liz and Ryan were incredible! Having two people there to shoot your wedding truly captures everything! Ryan was up with my husband while he was getting ready, taking pictures of all the guys together, opening presents, etc. Seeing a picture of my husband's face when he opened his gift was priceless and I am so grateful to Ryan for that. They were also able to capture both me coming down the aisle and my husband's face as I walked down the aisle- a priceless moment which never would have happened with one photographer. Liz and Ryan blended right into the wedding- they both were dressed like wedding guests (except with cameras!). I honestly felt as though they were good friends that I could just grab when I felt we could get a group shot- and I got every group shot that I wanted that night!! My pictures are truly fabulous- I have gotten so many compliments on them. There are some that look exactly like what I saw on Pinterest and wanted- I couldn't be happier. Now onto customer service- to say that Liz and Ryan are easy to work with is an understatement. They put me at ease in every way, were super organized and asked all the right questions. I felt like I barely had to do anything except give them a list of special things I wanted captured and give them names of family members for the family photos. They have sent us a couple adorable packages along the way and are always available when you need them. I plan on recommending them to every friend I have who gets engaged! Liz and Ryan and absolutely phenomenal and are worth every penny and more!

I cannot say enough good things about Liz and Ryan! They were absolutely amazing!!! We knew after seeing our engagement pictures that the wedding pictures were going to rock! It's so nice to work with a husband and wife team who 'get' it. They helped me plan out the daunting 'day of ' schedule with hardly any hiccups. Ryan was there to take pictures of my husband getting ready but he was also his saving grace by helping to calm him down and put the craziness into perspective. During the reception we barely knew they were there. They caught the perfect moments but were never intrusive. So many family and friends have said they LOVED our pictures over and over again! We will use Liz and Ryan for all of our photography needs in the future. They are incredibly talented plus they are wonderful people! You can't go wrong hiring these two!

I met with multiple photographers before selecting Elizabeth Ryan, and I can honestly say I couldn't be happier with the decision I made! They are a husband and wife team whose professionalism and dedication was apparent from the start.
