Liza is truly the BEST! She custom made my engagement ring and both of my wedding bands, and I couldn’t be happier. Not only is she unbelievably talented, but she made the whole process fun and stress-free. I can be very indecisive, and she was so patient with me—showing me tons of options and helping me find exactly what I wanted. There’s truly no one else I would ever trust with my jewelry. My husband didn’t get his wedding band from Liza at first and totally regretted it… so now she’s making his too! I gave my fiance a very unique, antique engagement ring and we had a very difficult time finding a wedding ring to pair with it. Prior to meeting Liza Michelle, we had already hired another custom designer here in town to create a piece to accompany the engagement ring. Leading up to the wedding in September, we weren't seeing eye-to-eye with that designer to make a long story short. We started panicking until we met Liza Michelle. With only a few weeks before we had to leave for Italy for our wedding, not only did Liza put us at ease, but she came up with an incredible one-of-a-kind solution which perfectly accompanied my fiance's antique engagement ring. Not only did we get an incredible bridal wedding ring, but also a groom's wedding band to match. We can't say enough about Liza's professionalism and creativity. I have worn two of Liza's custom engagement rings... long story for another time, and both were stunningly beautiful and curated with love and intention. My now fiance (THE REAL ONE) worked with Liza to create a piece with two family heirloom diamonds we had, and OMG it is literally to die for. Anyone who sees it says it's the most beautiful ring they've ever seen! (It is). I love that she is willing to incorporate heirlooms with other stones to make a custom piece and reuse diamonds! Not everyone will do that! We also purchased a perfect sapphire wedding band to match my ring from The Vow collection. Liza is honest, hard working, and SO creative. She creates pieces FOR YOU, not for her portfolio. She listens, and intuitively brings the energy of your relationship into the jewelry. After finalizing the design and getting the stones in, I was amazed by Liza's ability to pivot when I had a last-minute change of heart on color. After all, I was floored by the quality, variety, and ethical sourcing of all their metals and gems! I wanted it all! Even with this design change, LMJ was able to get the final ring to me well with the tight timeline we were looking at and I cannot thank her enough for that! The finished product is incredible. Full stop. I will never look elsewhere for custom or bespoke jewelry ever. One bit of icing that I cannot overlook is Liza's authentic "joy of metalsmithing" that is clear throughout the process as well as the final product. She clearly lives what she does and will make anyone love the process and love the final product that she creates. She is the top of the craft.

How do you successfully put into words how much depth, care, intention and magic that goes into working with Liza? Initially my fiancé proposed with a ring I already had so that I could then design my forever engagement ring. I discovered Liza several years ago and knew from the moment I laid eyes on her work that she was the one I wanted to design my wedding rings. Fast forward, my consultation with her was transformative. I went in thinking I knew what I wanted as I am very familiar with the wedding industry and its trends, but walked away asking myself a lot of questions and ultimately discovering exactly what it was that felt like me - from the band to picking out my diamond. Liza herself is the most precious gem (get it?!), but the ring she designed and built for me is just out of this world beautiful. The amount of care and attention to detail is breathtaking and is just the most stunning piece of art. I am beyond proud to wear it on my finger and especially to have had it made for me by one of the most stellar human beings I have been so fortunate to meet. There is such magic in having a ring custom made over going to a store and buying whats on the shelf. I truly cannot wait to start the design process for my wedding band with Liza! I worked with Liza to design a custom engagement ring. I heard of Liza through a friend and upon further research was delighted to learn that she works with moissanite. Liza was great to work with, she listened to what I had in mind, started from there and came up with multiple designs based on our conversation and incorporated her own creativity and expertise. Overall I, and more importantly my fiancée, are very happy with the engagement ring that includes white gold, turquoise, and moissanite, and are also working with Liza on the wedding band. I would recommend Liza to anyone looking to purchase a ring whether you are looking to purchase something in stock from her shop or a custom design.

Working with Liza was exciting and fun! My boyfriend and I met with her virtually for our initial consult for my engagement ring. The plan was to air out my ideas for the types of rings I would love, and then she and my boyfriend would take it from there! I love that she let me be involved (even if it was only at first!) She was direct with her ideas and goals for our design. I had no idea about the timeline to completion or about the final design. My boyfriend managed a surprise proposal (even with me knowing it was going to happen) with the perfect ring! We picked her because she was a small business owner, she was based out of Cleveland (our beloved home), was organic in her process, used recycled materials, and one hell of an artist! Her style definitely shined through and I couldn’t have thought of a better design for myself! As a local Clevelander me and my partner Sean wanted to make our rings something special. Also being two men at some jewelers it can be sometimes uncomfortable.... not with Liza. She made us feel so comfortable and got to know each of our styles. Why Sean and I can have some of the same style, I can be a little over the top sometimes.
