Taking your first “steps” both literally and physically is a wonderful part of the whole experience with which I am happy to help. Whatever your vision, I can help you achieve it from simple basics to full out choreography for you, your parents, and/or your whole wedding party. You will learn how to move together with confidence and ease, deepening your connection with each other, and making your dance experience fun, enjoyable and memorable, something to carry with you for a lifetime. I offer full one-hour sessions in the privacy of my home in a brand new home studio (see photos), in your home or in a private commercial studio in a comfortable environment, not sharing the space or music with anyone else, so no onlookers and no pressure. Whatever your abilities, we will create something together that represents your personality to share with your loved ones and friends. I've been a professional Ballroom, Latin & jazz dancer/instructor for over 32 years. I actually started as a jazz/tap dancer, Fred Astaire being my idol since childhood. After I received my B.A. in Dance from the Univ. of California, Irvine, I moved to NYC where my love for partner dancing began. I taught at Stepping Out Studios & Dancesport for years before going "independent". I honestly can’t say how many wedding couples I’ve taught over 32 years, but it’s a lot! It gives me great joy to see couples learn together, creating something personal & unique to celebrate their special day!

I could not have wished for a better experience. My fiancé & I are getting married in March and searched out looking for dance lessons because we both truly had 0 idea what we were...

doing when it comes to dancing. After reaching out to over 10/15 vendors we found Lizard dance productions and I am so grateful we did. Anyone planning a wedding knows time is of the essence & Liz was one of the only vendors that quickly sent me a pricing structure and was also extremely responsive. We booked our first lesson and leave it to me to forget we had it planned. She showed up with open arms and 0 judgement. After our first lesson I knew how lucky we were to have found her. She has been so patient, motivating and fun throughout this process - and I was prepared for it to be stressful & embarrassing. We learned more in our first 2 lessons than I expected to learn in a lifetime. She gives us the confidence we need to be better and is amazing at what she does. You can tell this is her true passion and she wants nothing but the best for her clients. She even went above & beyond to help us find our perfect wedding song! tely picked up the basics and feel much more confident in our skills. Her enthusiasm for dance is infectious and she brings so much experience to the conversation as we plan out our first dance. I really liked the way she provided feedback as well. As my fiancé and I tried the steps she showed us, she would reinforce the things we were doing well and give us tips on how to improve the things we weren't picking up so quickly. Suffice to say we are excited for our next lesson!

iasm as when I first reached out by phone, she returned my call right away and seemed sincere, and once she stated, "Dancing is my life" I knew we should purchase a lesson. Also, the value of the purchase was a full hour dance lesson which actually is better than some other places I checked into. By the end of the lesson we knew the dance, and my son knew how to lead! We scheduled one more practice session before the big event.

er 20 years experience & her prices are the best compared to other people we have reached out to. Because of her, we have thought about picking up a hobby in dancing after our wedding. On top of all those positives, she has an amazing personality and we love chatting with her after our lessons. ked us up right where we were (comPLETE beginners) and gave us some moves that let us feel cool right outta the chute. Always clear and patient, she helped us to improve every week, made us a playlist to practice with, once brought in her demo partner to inspire us…Best of all, along with steps and proper form, Liz imparted to us the joy of dancing well. By the end of our lessons, still beginners by definition, we were thrilled to show off on the dance floor! Best investment we could have made for our special day.
