has been to too many weddings where he was served steamed rice and roasted vegetables), someone who offered memorable or unusual dishes and appetizers (we're big foodies)... not to mention someone who did it WELL, at a price we could fit into our budget. Enter LM Catering & Events. We were happy to discover that they will serve outside of their own venues, and even happier when we arrived to our tasting and Gabi walked us through our menu choices. Everything was so delicious, it was tough to narrow our picks! Throughout the process, Gabi was helpful and answered any questions we had (and there were many). On the day, the team delivered not only great food, but a great experience for our guests (despite the fact that we asked them to learn to make THREE signature cocktails and modify ingredients in several appetizers). The best sign, though? We already miss the food.

restaurant. Everyone raved about the roasted chicken; the hanger steak was cooked to a perfect medium/medium rare. My nieces and nephews stood outside the kitchen all of cocktail hour in order to stop food as it was on its way out. Lol Perfect!

y after horror story of caterers and venues putting couples on impossible timelines or impossible financial situations. Our experience could not have been more different. Paulette and her team allowed us to hold two potential reschedule dates and were flexible with the deposits given the fluid situation. As we waited to see what would happen, Paulette was easy to get a hold of, responsive and checked in often and kept us informed of updated policy and outlook. Her thoroughness, approach and positivity kept our spirits up through a difficult stretch. While we were thrilled with LM Catering and their response to the pandemic, things only got better as we finally moved closer to our date. Again, Paulette helped keep us organized and on schedule providing recommendations, connections, help and expertise at every turn. We were lucky to have our tasting hosted in the new LM catering tasting space which was beautiful. We really had no idea what to expect and were blown away by the service, presentation and overall experience - not to mention the food was outstanding (owner Stephan stepped in and cooked for us). Paulette also worked with the bakery to ensure we were able to taste some desserts that weren't available at the tasting. What we thought was a formality turned into an experience we and our parents will never forget. Weeks and days ahead of the wedding, Paulette and her team were on everything and consistently went above and beyond. We worked with Binny's to bring in our own alcohol, Paulette checked to make sure the order was correct (it wasn't) and got it fixed. She also worked with staff to pull off a last minute speciality cocktail for us. Day of, more of the same: making sure cards from guests got to a secure place, arranging place cards, Paulette herself went to Binny's to get an extra case of wine (the same brand we bought - again, the attention to detail) when we were running low. The day after, Paulette took time while setting up for another wedding to look (and find) an important lost bag of ours. Truly, truly exceptional and special service. All of this before we even get to the food, which was phenomenal. The hors d'oeuvres, dinner, especially the steak and mashed potatoes, and desserts were all hits. Several of our well-traveled, foodie guests said it was the best food wedding food they ever had. Staff was kind and courteous, bar tenders made excellent drinks and generally everyone was just great to work with. It took 12 months longer than expected to get married and there was not a single day, from the moment we signed the contract to the day were married we did not appreciate working with Paulette and her team. In the midst of one of the craziest wedding seasons on record Paulette made us feel like ours was the only wedding she was working on. I hope all couples get to have such a good team to make sure their wedding is special. A sincere thank you to Paulette and LM Catering, we can't recommend them enough.

the vegetarian option. Each dish was very unique with the sauces and toppings. We had mash potatoes that were passed around family style. Those were my favorite! I can't say enough great things about the food! The staff was very professional and checked in frequently with us on how we were doing. It was great to get to know the head catering staff. We also had late-night tacos for our guests that did not disappoint! Many compliments about the tacos as well. I am so happy with our decision to have LM catering at our wedding!

food was phenomenal. Way above your "average wedding chicken or beef." Plus grilled cheese & tomato soup shooters were a hit at a winter wedding! Would highly recomemnd.

edding at Zhou B Art Center we opted for appetizers and entrees that were savory, hearty and appropriate for the winter season. It was awesome to be able to choose grilled cheese and tomato soup sliders as one of our three appetizers. The presentation was so cute, it tasted delicious, and it was a huge hit with our guests as it was unique and perfect for a chilly winter day. That’s just one example of the original and delicious options that LM Catering has to offer. We worked directly with Paulette from LM Catering and I am SO thankful for that. She was an absolute dream to work with and was definitely a calming presence during our wedding planning process. She is warm, genuine, flexible and accommodating. For example, after our tasting I had second thoughts on the entrees we chose and wanted to sample an additional option. When I reached out to Paulette she was more than willing to allow me to come in for an additional tasting. I ended up swinging by LM Catering to pick up the entree to take home to try with my finance. It ended up being one of the entrees we chose (the beef short rib - so so good) and I believe this speaks volumes about Paulette and her staff at LM Catering. They truly care about you, your event, and your happiness. The food at the wedding was perfection and we received many, many compliments. The only hiccup was that a few tables ran out of the mashed potatoes, which were one of the sides and the sides are served family style. However, with this being only a small inconvenience I can confidently say that I would choose to work with Paulette and LM Catering time and time again. This was definitely one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding day!

ith the utmost professionalism. She not only listened to us, but she also helped us fix all the issues with our contract and got everything under control even though it wasn't her fault initially. Once she was our main contact, she was always available for questions, helped proactively schedule and let us know what we needed to do and when. Our wedding day went off with out a hitch and I know that Paulette was behind the scenes making sure it was perfect. The food was amazing. We wanted our guests to feel like it was a restaurant meal, not just "chicken at a wedding". LM certainly accomplished that goal! I would 100% recommend LM Catering.

Paulette, has been wonderful. She has really helped us plan our entire wedding by giving great vendor recommendations and helpful tips. Paulette was able to accommodate all of our unique requests and really worked with us so we could incorporate things that were important. Given the unusual environment of this pandemic, they have been very accommodating and are working with us to seamlessly change our date. Because of their professionalism it has made the process stress free. We can't wait to actually have our wedding, and for all our guests to try the wonderful food we were able to have at our tasting! We are very hopeful that we will be able to have the wedding of our dreams at the Zhou B Art Center. We had many options to choose from already and she was even willing to work with us in finding additional options to ensure that both we and our parents were happy with our decisions. We also want to add that during this time of so much uncertainty with the pandemic, the communication has continued to be flawless and catering is one less thing for us to worry about. We've read AMAZING things about their food and can't wait for our tasting!!!

ried in December 2020. LM Catering is intertwined with my venue and that was a huge reason we chose our venue. During the unprecedented times they have been very accommodating towards our catering payments. We were able to hold off on payments for a month or two until we figure out the unknown. I have had zero issues regarding catering if we have to possibly postpone our wedding. It’s one thing I don’t have to stress about. I have had the pleasure to attend numerous weddings and try LM Catering’s tasty food before my own wedding. It was a no brainer to go with this catering company for our dream wedding. The food is delicious and the presentation is appealing to ones eye. Also, the food was delivered hot which is key. I loved all their appetizers, especially their bacon wrapped dates! I give LM Catering two thumbs up!

options and the mashed potatoes were a HUGE hit. There’s so many options to choose from! Even eight the dessert and midnight snacks which we went with macaroons and mini Chicago hot dogs and they were all so delicious! Easy to work with and was so happy with what they provided to our special day!

All of our guests enjoyed the food, and countless people said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Mary also gave us recommendations for our photo booth and DJ and both of those vendors were hits, as well! LM catering’s food is not only delicious, but artistically plated. Even the tasting in their West Loop office was beautifully curated. LM Catering is modern, fun, and just fresh and extremely memorable!

many options and even the Chicken dish was so delicious. LM was also very respectful and accomodating for a member of our bridal party that has Celiacs. A lot of their appetizers and main dishes are gluten free. They even provided a tray of the mini burger appetizer without the bun so our groomsmen could enjoy some pre-dinner food as well! In addition to the food, the staff was great! The server at our head table was consistently checking in to see if my husband and I needed any additional drinks or cocktails. We had two members that couldn't attend last minute and they brought us their extra food so we had an opportunity to sample every dish at our wedding!

We originally weren't happy with our choices of menu options (OUR fault... we chose what we thought our guests would like, not what we wanted to eat!) and Jamie was able to reschedule our menu tasting quickly to make sure we were absolutely satisfied with our options! All of our guest could not stop talking about the grilled hanger steak entree and the bacon wrapped date appetizers! 5 star job, we would highly recommend!!

:) we had tons of options to choose from and everything was amazing. The flank steak was a popular item. The ambre dessert things were by far my favorite! :) We're so glad we had LM catering for our wedding and would recommend it to anyone.
