Finding a caterer was probably the biggest challenge during the planning of our wedding. We needed someone who had substantial vegetarian options (my now-husband is vegetarian and has been to too many weddings where he was served steamed rice and roasted vegetables), someone who offered memorable or unusual dishes and appetizers (we're big foodies)... not to mention someone who did it WELL, at a price we could fit into our budget. Enter LM Catering & Events. We were happy to discover that they will serve outside of their own venues, and even happier when we arrived to our tasting and Gabi walked us through our menu choices. Everything was so delicious, it was tough to narrow our picks! Throughout the process, Gabi was helpful and answered any questions we had (and there were many). On the day, the team delivered not only great food, but a great experience for our guests (despite the fact that we asked them to learn to make THREE signature cocktails and modify ingredients in several appetizers). The best sign, though? We already miss the food.

Lesley R. and Mary K. of LM Catering & Events were critical in making our wedding the perfect day. From the very first meeting at the venue tour, we knew we were in good hands. They were flexible and took our concerns and requests seriously. Lesley and Mary worked seamlessly with our day-of planner and vendors. On the day of our wedding, the LM Staff was professional and courteous. Not to mention the food was incredible!

We had to use LM based on our venue but we’d hire them again in a heartbeat. Everyone knows wedding food can be subpar but this food was amazing. We would order it if we went to a restaurant. Everyone raved about the roasted chicken; the hanger steak was cooked to a perfect medium/medium rare. My nieces and nephews stood outside the kitchen all of cocktail hour in order to stop food as it was on its way out. Lol Perfect!

If you are planning a wedding in Chicago you need to work with Paulette & LM Catering. Full stop. Our wedding was originally scheduled for September of 2020. We heard horror story after horror story of caterers and venues putting couples on impossible timelines or impossible financial situations. Our experience could not have been more different. Paulette and her team allowed us to hold two potential reschedule dates and were flexible with the deposits given the fluid situation. As we waited to see what would happen, Paulette was easy to get a hold of, responsive and checked in often and kept us informed of updated policy and outlook. Her thoroughness, approach and positivity kept our spirits up through a difficult stretch. While we were thrilled with LM Catering and their response to the pandemic, things only got better as we finally moved closer to our date. Again, Paulette helped keep us organized and on schedule providing recommendations, connections, help and expertise at every turn. We were lucky to have our tasting hosted in the new LM catering tasting space which was beautiful. We really had no idea what to expect and were blown away by the service, presentation and overall experience - not to mention the food was outstanding (owner Stephan stepped in and cooked for us). Paulette also worked with the bakery to ensure we were able to taste some desserts that weren't available at the tasting. What we thought was a formality turned into an experience we and our parents will never forget. Weeks and days ahead of the wedding, Paulette and her team were on everything and consistently went above and beyond. We worked with Binny's to bring in our own alcohol, Paulette checked to make sure the order was correct (it wasn't) and got it fixed. She also worked with staff to pull off a last minute speciality cocktail for us. Day of, more of the same: making sure cards from guests got to a secure place, arranging place cards, Paulette herself went to Binny's to get an extra case of wine (the same brand we bought - again, the attention to detail) when we were running low. The day after, Paulette took time while setting up for another wedding to look (and find) an important lost bag of ours. Truly, truly exceptional and special service. All of this before we even get to the food, which was phenomenal. The hors d'oeuvres, dinner, especially the steak and mashed potatoes, and desserts were all hits. Several of our well-traveled, foodie guests said it was the best food wedding food they ever had. Staff was kind and courteous, bar tenders made excellent drinks and generally everyone was just great to work with. It took 12 months longer than expected to get married and there was not a single day, from the moment we signed the contract to the day were married we did not appreciate working with Paulette and her team. In the midst of one of the craziest wedding seasons on record Paulette made us feel like ours was the only wedding she was working on. I hope all couples get to have such a good team to make sure their wedding is special. A sincere thank you to Paulette and LM Catering, we can't recommend them enough.

This food is amazing. Serving our guests a great, unique meal was very important to us - were so excited after our tasting, and at our wedding our guests were blown away. The staff was also so helpful, attentive and sweet.

We used LM Catering for our wedding at Lacuna Lofts recently and have NOTHING but AMAZING things to say!! Mary Kehoe is a SUPERSTAR and if you get the chance to work with her, consider yourself beyond lucky. She was there since day one acting as a coordinator even and supporting us and keeping everything in order the month-of, week-of and day-of. Truly don’t know what we would have done without her. The food was also delicious and people raves about it! Can’t say enough how perfect our day was because of her and the amazing staff and food. All around, so pleased.

What an incredible wedding over Labor Day Weekend! This was largely in part to the LM Catering team. From start to finish, Paulette and her team provided stellar, flawless customer service. Always 5 steps ahead, my clients and their guests had a wonderful time, The food was exceptional, the bartenders were so great, and my clients and I could not have asked for more. LM Catering is a couple's and a wedding coordinator's dream team to work with! Top notch professionalism, clear and efficient communication, and attune to all of the details. We got married at Lacuna Lofts over Labor Day weekend and everything was perfect! We had planned to get married in October of 2020 but COVID obviously derailed things. Mary and her team were very flexible and accommodating throughout everything. The day went off without any hitches and we couldn't recommend them more!

LM Catering did a fantastic job from appetizers, salads, main dish, and desert everyone loved our dishes for our wedding! The tasting was very fun as well. They were accommodating and their service was amazing. I would highly recommend this caterer for any event! Thanks for all you had done for our wedding, we couldn't have been more happy about the food and our guests were happy as well.

We had our wedding at Lacuna on June 4th, and LM Catering did a phenomenal job! We received so many compliments about the food! We served steak, chicken, and carrot quinoa cake for the vegetarian option. Each dish was very unique with the sauces and toppings. We had mash potatoes that were passed around family style. Those were my favorite! I can't say enough great things about the food! The staff was very professional and checked in frequently with us on how we were doing. It was great to get to know the head catering staff. We also had late-night tacos for our guests that did not disappoint! Many compliments about the tacos as well. I am so happy with our decision to have LM catering at our wedding!

We hosted our wedding at Zhou B Art Center. The venue and the catering was fabulous. Paulette was easy to communicate with and helped us get our wedding off without any issues. The food was phenomenal. Way above your "average wedding chicken or beef." Plus grilled cheese & tomato soup shooters were a hit at a winter wedding! Would highly recomemnd.

Everything about our experience with LM Catering was top notch! First of all, the menu is extensive and provides you with endless options that all sound delicious. For our winter wedding at Zhou B Art Center we opted for appetizers and entrees that were savory, hearty and appropriate for the winter season. It was awesome to be able to choose grilled cheese and tomato soup sliders as one of our three appetizers. The presentation was so cute, it tasted delicious, and it was a huge hit with our guests as it was unique and perfect for a chilly winter day. That’s just one example of the original and delicious options that LM Catering has to offer. We worked directly with Paulette from LM Catering and I am SO thankful for that. She was an absolute dream to work with and was definitely a calming presence during our wedding planning process. She is warm, genuine, flexible and accommodating. For example, after our tasting I had second thoughts on the entrees we chose and wanted to sample an additional option. When I reached out to Paulette she was more than willing to allow me to come in for an additional tasting. I ended up swinging by LM Catering to pick up the entree to take home to try with my finance. It ended up being one of the entrees we chose (the beef short rib - so so good) and I believe this speaks volumes about Paulette and her staff at LM Catering. They truly care about you, your event, and your happiness. The food at the wedding was perfection and we received many, many compliments. The only hiccup was that a few tables ran out of the mashed potatoes, which were one of the sides and the sides are served family style. However, with this being only a small inconvenience I can confidently say that I would choose to work with Paulette and LM Catering time and time again. This was definitely one of the best decisions we made in regards to our wedding day!

LM Catering did my wedding at Zhou B Art Center. Our main contact, Paulette came into an existing contract I had with LM/Zhou B that had a few hiccups, and she handled everything with the utmost professionalism. She not only listened to us, but she also helped us fix all the issues with our contract and got everything under control even though it wasn't her fault initially. Once she was our main contact, she was always available for questions, helped proactively schedule and let us know what we needed to do and when. Our wedding day went off with out a hitch and I know that Paulette was behind the scenes making sure it was perfect. The food was amazing. We wanted our guests to feel like it was a restaurant meal, not just "chicken at a wedding". LM certainly accomplished that goal! I would 100% recommend LM Catering.

We had our wedding at the gorgeous Zhou B Art Center and had the pleasure of working with Paulette at LM Catering & Events. Working with Paulette was great, she was extremely responsive, friendly, and easy to work with. Our food was delicious - we got tons of compliments that it was so beyond typical "wedding food" and we totally agreed! I thought the prices were reasonable for the amount of food we got. The icing on the cake was really the catering staff. The servers and bartenders were so friendly and sweet. We loved working with everyone at LM.

Food and service was fantastic! We loved working with Paulette. She made everything easy and stress free. The tasting was a highlight, so fun, and we got to see how the food would be presented with plates and linens. Everything was so good it was hard to choose but Paulette totally helped us narrow down to the right quantities. We had some guests with food allergies and it was easy to flag those plates and they where able to eat dairy and gluten free.

LM has a ton of delicious options to satisfy all flavor preferences. Our main point of contact (Paulette) has been a dream to work with and has made this stressful process much, much easier. She has been incredibly responsive and helpful every single step of the way towards our wedding date. My future hubby and I highly recommend LM to anyone planning their next event. You will not be disappointed!!!

We have been working with LM Catering for about a year now and have nothing but good things to say. Paulette is our contact and she has been so supportive in helping us plan and navigate all the chaos of rescheduling our wedding... twice! She is always willing to answer our questions in a compassionate and timely manner. We thoroughly enjoyed our food tasting experience. The staff were very professional and the food was great! We have had an amazing experience working with Paulette at LM Catering! She has been so helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout all of our time together. We were already excited to work with them and our excitement and appreciation has just grown after the amazing way they handled all of the changes related to the coronavirus crisis. It was such a relief knowing that Paulette and LM Catering were flexible and understanding as we had to postpone our wedding date (multiple times) so that we can have the wedding we always wanted to have. We have loved working with LM Catering! From the beginning they were extremely responsive and helped answer each one of our questions, even when they seemed silly. Our coordinator, Paulette, has been wonderful. She has really helped us plan our entire wedding by giving great vendor recommendations and helpful tips. Paulette was able to accommodate all of our unique requests and really worked with us so we could incorporate things that were important. Given the unusual environment of this pandemic, they have been very accommodating and are working with us to seamlessly change our date. Because of their professionalism it has made the process stress free. We can't wait to actually have our wedding, and for all our guests to try the wonderful food we were able to have at our tasting! Our experience with LM Catering has been great! Our coordinator Paulette is always quick to respond to any questions we may have about our upcoming November 2020 wedding. She has gone above and beyond to make us feel at ease during this pandemic. We even were able to hold off on payments for a month so we can keep an eye on the reopening phases of the state. We are very hopeful that we will be able to have the wedding of our dreams at the Zhou B Art Center. Our tasing is scheduled for next month, and we are so excited to try all of the amazing dishes and see a sample of what one of the tables will look like. I would definitely recommend LM Catering!

We are so grateful to have the LM Catering team on our side during this planning process. When we had our food tasting, it was one of the most decadent and extravagant experiences we had ever had; everything was delicious and the service and presentation was out of this world. My fiancé and I had to postpone our wedding due to the COVID-19 pandemic and, thanks to our amazing coordinator, Mary, it was a completely smooth transition. Mary's responses are always prompt, knowledgable, and considerate. We couldn't imagine this experience without her and the incredible team behind LM Catering! So looking forward to the big day next summer at Lacuna!

We have had a fantastic experience working with Paulette at LM Catering! She's responsive, friendly, and very patient with our many questions. They have been accommodating as we worked to make our wedding feel unique to us and have helped us think through how to plan the event. While we all learn to maneuver in these strange and uncertain times, Paulette and LM Catering have been extremely flexible and understanding as we had to postpone our wedding and rethink logistics. We would highly recommend working with them! :)

Although our wedding is upcoming, we just want to say our experience with LM Catering has been outstanding! Working with Paulette has been a pleasure from the start. We have zero event planning experience, but she made this process easy. She's been super patient and so responsive with every question we've had (and we have MANY). We had many options to choose from already and she was even willing to work with us in finding additional options to ensure that both we and our parents were happy with our decisions. We also want to add that during this time of so much uncertainty with the pandemic, the communication has continued to be flawless and catering is one less thing for us to worry about. We've read AMAZING things about their food and can't wait for our tasting!!!

A couple months ago, attending weddings was the only thing I would do on weekends! However, with the current situation they have been on hold. I currently am scheduled to get married in December 2020. LM Catering is intertwined with my venue and that was a huge reason we chose our venue. During the unprecedented times they have been very accommodating towards our catering payments. We were able to hold off on payments for a month or two until we figure out the unknown. I have had zero issues regarding catering if we have to possibly postpone our wedding. It’s one thing I don’t have to stress about. I have had the pleasure to attend numerous weddings and try LM Catering’s tasty food before my own wedding. It was a no brainer to go with this catering company for our dream wedding. The food is delicious and the presentation is appealing to ones eye. Also, the food was delivered hot which is key. I loved all their appetizers, especially their bacon wrapped dates! I give LM Catering two thumbs up!

We left our wedding with our guests raving about the food! Which, let’s be honest at weddings isn’t that common. Lm catering didn’t such a a amazing good, people loved all our meal options and the mashed potatoes were a HUGE hit. There’s so many options to choose from! Even eight the dessert and midnight snacks which we went with macaroons and mini Chicago hot dogs and they were all so delicious! Easy to work with and was so happy with what they provided to our special day!

I can not say enough good things about LM Catering and working with Mary at Lacuna Lofts. Mary is extremely responsive and detail-oriented, and very accommodating. She always offered to help with any sort of wedding planning and the day before our wedding, she sent me pictures of the decorations she had set up for my approval. All of our guests enjoyed the food, and countless people said it was the best wedding food they have ever had. Mary also gave us recommendations for our photo booth and DJ and both of those vendors were hits, as well! LM catering’s food is not only delicious, but artistically plated. Even the tasting in their West Loop office was beautifully curated. LM Catering is modern, fun, and just fresh and extremely memorable!

LM Catering was our caterer for our wedding at City View Loft. THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE. We had heard great reviews prior to our tasting. Our tasting was amazing. They brought out so many options and even the Chicken dish was so delicious. LM was also very respectful and accomodating for a member of our bridal party that has Celiacs. A lot of their appetizers and main dishes are gluten free. They even provided a tray of the mini burger appetizer without the bun so our groomsmen could enjoy some pre-dinner food as well! In addition to the food, the staff was great! The server at our head table was consistently checking in to see if my husband and I needed any additional drinks or cocktails. We had two members that couldn't attend last minute and they brought us their extra food so we had an opportunity to sample every dish at our wedding!

We went with City View Loft for our venue, so we defaulted to LM Catering for our food. It was delicious! Working with Jamie was great; she was super helpful and flexible about creating a menu we were excited about. The staff and service the night of the wedding was great, as well!

LM Catering did an incredible job with our wedding! The food was great, and the staff was lovely. Jamie and Gabi, the event coordinators, were especially a pleasure to work with.

There are so many delicious options. We had a hard time narrowing our choices. They also insured that we had a warm meal as we talked to our guests.

Everyone at LM Catering was a pleasure to work with! We worked with Jamie for the entirety of our wedding planning process, and she was absolutely AMAZING! My now husband is GF and she was able to specify which items were GF and all menu items that could be made GF. We originally weren't happy with our choices of menu options (OUR fault... we chose what we thought our guests would like, not what we wanted to eat!) and Jamie was able to reschedule our menu tasting quickly to make sure we were absolutely satisfied with our options! All of our guest could not stop talking about the grilled hanger steak entree and the bacon wrapped date appetizers! 5 star job, we would highly recommend!!

We got so many compliments on the food and a lot of people said it was the best wedding food they've had :) we had tons of options to choose from and everything was amazing. The flank steak was a popular item. The ambre dessert things were by far my favorite! :) We're so glad we had LM catering for our wedding and would recommend it to anyone.

She is a pleasure to work with both during the planning process and the day of. The food, from appetizers to the main event, was phenomenal. We got so many compliments from family and friends... and I literally sat and cleaned my own plate! Thanks to LM for everything.
