It was so beautiful, and getting married in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows with that view was absolutely magical. We're big Chicago people, so being so close to the park and just a quick ride to the river was amazing for photos. We were a little worried that it would be a bit tight, but honestly it was a great size for our guest count of 150 people. Our guests kept raving about the space and the food! I cannot have asked for a more perfect day and I would 1000000/10 recommend LM Studio for your wedding day!!!

When we happened to find a venue that was interesting to us, we were often met with extremely delayed responses or rude coordinating teams. We were certainly stressed and feeling the pressure to lock down a venue when we reached out to Paulette. Our experience mirrors the overwhelmingly positive reviews already shared by other couples here on the Knot. Paulette and her team were responsive, accommodating, thoughtful, and professional, and many of our vendors thoroughly enjoyed partnering with LM Studio. We were especially appreciative of Paulette’s scheduling flexibility – formal planning meetings and quick “drop in” visits were never an issue. We felt valued as a couple throughout the entirety of our planning process, particularly in regard to some of our proposed adjustments to the venue’s standard layout and aesthetic. LM Studio’s relative value is undeniably differentiated — price, an iconic location, views of Grant Park, and food quality. We wouldn’t have changed any part of our special day – everything came together masterfully. Thank so much, Paulette!

autiful city views. We held both our ceremony and reception there and the transition between the two floors was seamless. Our guests could not help raving about the gorgeous Art Deco/modern decor and how spacious the venue was. It was important to us to find a venue with in-house catering and LM's food did not disappoint. We chose a fish and steak entree for our guests that were huge hits! The staff day of were wonderful, kind, and super attentive. I wish everyone was able to work with a Paulette Eastman for their event planning. She is such a pleasure, has the best demeanor, and her communication with us, our florist and our wedding planner could not be beat! Everything we wanted to see on our wedding day, she worked to make happen. We could not have been happier with the way everything turned out! LM Studio and Paulette are true gems. I would 1000% recommend having a wedding or any sort of large event there!

verything I'm saying by 120. LM Studio, and Paulette specifically, was the best part of our wedding point blank period. They hit on all accords with us and our guests, and the worst part of the whole occasion is that I can't go back there on the regular and just hang out. MULTIPLE GUESTS including my father, with a lifetime of weddings, said the food was not just good BUT THE BEST WEDDING FOOD they have ever had. There wasn't a single complaint. And we agree just delicious. Scenery vibes - you're not going to do better. From the wall art/decor pierces, paint, textures, fabrics, colors, SO MUCH VELVET - there's so much to see. Guests also reported widely "there's not a single place in this venue that isn't ideal for a photo opp. It was just beautiful and we really wanted something that carried some weight decor wise. This place was my perfect match. Aesthetically, it's millions of bucks. I loved every part of it and going there, taking pictures, and just enjoying the luxury throughout the planning process was also such a joy. There's really so much more I could rave on for days about but the most important thing for couples to know is about Paulette who runs Events and Catering. The best way to sum it up is I want to be friends with Paulette. She made me feel important, like a priority, and really cared for from the proposal process until we said good night at the wedding. She is a gem and such a charismatic pleasure to be around. The people you hire to be around you on this day cannot be undervalued! They are the glue to hold everything together. Paulette worked with us on everything from vision to budget, she is so organized, so everything. I just cannot. I actually intended to write this review the day after my wedding because I love her so much, but still I don't even have the words to really convey the impression she left on us. LM gave me an even more perfect vision of everything I prayed for. Our wedding was PERFECT, and I know people don't say that a lot. Of course, there were hiccups but the things that were so perfect like everything at LM outweighed everything else. I wouldn't do anything differently in this part of the planning. Everyone in Chicago who vibes with the space should get married there. The pics are worth it enough if all the ^^^^ didn't make an impression. It really was a 10/10 and Paulette gave 100/10. It's also one of the last places where you feel good about what you're getting for what you're paying for... which we all learn is too rare in the wedding industry. Thank you Paulette and LM Studio!

Paulettes recommendations were spot on as the food was amazing and the staff were professional and accommodating to our needs. We are forever grateful for her ongoing willingness to work with us ,as it’s not easy being from out of town and making sure everything is as you hope it to be, she eased our anxiety as we put our trust in her and she delivered!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking at L & M Studios for an event as the location was perfect as 85% of our guests came from out of town as to several hotels are nearby with many things to do and see out their doorsteps. The venue meet our every need and exceeded our expectations!

A huge selling point for us was all of the fantastic decor which gave us endless options for photo backdrops and let us keep our floral budget to a minimum without sacrificing esthetics. Paulette and the entire team could not have been more professional, kind, or accommodating. They truly made our event seamless which allowed us to fully enjoy every moment. Lastly, the food and service here was superb. Our guests were so well taken care of and everyone raved about their meals. Could not recommend this place enough!
