little moments. We have worked with Lauren three times over the last year, once for a winter couples session, again for an engagement session, and most recently for our wedding. I can't count the number of goosebumps and tears my husband and I have shared huddled around a phone or computer looking at her galleries. We feel so lucky to have found her work and we hope to have her continue to document our life (and our love) as the years go on.

We were connected through some mutual friends and all we knew as that we wanted to capture mostly honest, candid moments rather than a catalog of posed photos. Lauren made us feel so comfortable during all of our shoots - she gave us direction where we asked for it, encouraged us where she noticed us going for something that might show our personality a bit. She made the experience fun and easy and we could not be more happy with the scenes she captured. They are memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives and what's best is that she honestly captured us. We feel connected to the photos and love each and every one! Lauren has a unique eye for framing, lighting, and honing in on a special detail in the scene. She offers unique ways to capture the experience in multiple media formats - digital, film, polaroids, super8 film! It was so fun to see her experiment and we loved the variation in final products. Apart from her professional talent, Lauren is kind, easy going, and a joy to be around. She is down to earth and open, and is obviously doing her best to make her clients feel supported. I loved how present she was during the shoots and our meetings. We were able to talk with ease about pricing for services and how we could best use our budget. All in all - Lauren is an absolute gem and we are so delighted to have worked worked with her.

We ended up taking engagement photos on our original wedding date and would also highly recommend that everyone take her up on that as well!
