We truly could not have chosen a more perfect venue than Loblolly Estate. From the very first tour, we fell in love with the property and all the possibilities it offered. After meeting the owners and talking through our vision, we knew without a doubt this was the place where we wanted to get married.
The property is absolutely breathtaking, and every one of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. The bridal suite was stunning and the perfect place to get ready, and the groomsmen absolutely loved having the groom’s cabin to relax in before the ceremony.
The owners and our wedding coordinator were some of the kindest, most genuine people we had the pleasure of working with. They went above and beyond to help bring our vision to life and made us feel supported every step of the way. On our wedding day, everything ran exactly as planned. I didn’t have to worry about a single detail because our coordinator handled all of the behind-the-scenes moments so seamlessly. I was able to simply enjoy getting married, which is exactly how every bride hopes to feel.
We truly couldn’t have imagined our wedding day any differently, and so much of that is thanks to the incredible team at Loblolly Estate. If you’re looking for a beautiful venue with amazing people who genuinely care about making your day perfect, we cannot recommend Loblolly Estate enough. It was everything we dreamed of and more.

The estate spans 31 acres of lush green fields, located only minutes from the Outer Banks beaches but, also only 45 minutes from Virginia. We are in the perfect location for both North Carolina and Virginia couples. Breathtaking views of the Currituck Sound and the stunning North Carolina landscape will provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding day.
The beautiful indoor and outdoor facilities at Loblolly Estate allow for a new and unique event venue. The estate rests on the Currituck Sound with a serene pond, gazebo and quaint shed for your groomsmen. You might spot deer, otter, eagles, or wild turkeys on the grounds at Loblolly Estate. The colonial-style main house is surrounded by carefully landscaped grounds. The house’s interior features the most amazing bridal suite which offers a private veranda, overlooking the estate and the Currituck Sound. It's the perfect place for you and your bridesmaids to relax and have a delicious brunch.
The newly enclosed Wescott Barn, tucked behind beautiful pine trees, is available for your ceremony or reception and is climate controlled. The long winding driveway offers privacy for your special day, creating a hidden oasis for you and your guests. The barn is painted a neutral white and can be transformed into your dream reception that welcomes your guests for dinnervand dancing. You can host up to 150 guests in the Wescott Barn. Put up a tent, and you can host as many guests as you want!
Loblolly Estate offers a once in a lifetime wedding on a historic ESTATE,. Rental includes white resin chairs for your outdoor ceremony, farmtables, 32 folding tables, a sweetheart table, serpentine tables, 2 bars, and Chiavari chairs for your reception in the Wescott Barn.
We have a newly remodeled Bridal Suite. We have 4 hair and makeup stations, our lounge area, and a bonus sitting area with a full length mirror. Combine that with the view of the Sound from our second floor private veranda, and we think this is the most amazing Bridal Suite near the OBX and Virginia!
