We are so thankful for April and the work that she does - absolutely amazing! We met April several years ago when we won a LGBTQ+ Couples Session and had such a great time with her...
. She makes taking pictures easy and effortless. Each time we work with her, we are just able to be ourselves and she does the rest. It's magic.
After our first session, we knew right then and there that we must have April shoot our engagement and wedding. This past November that is exactly what she did - she shot the heck out of it! She was able to capture all of our favorite memories from our special day and for that we are forever grateful.
Thank you, April. We look forward to our next session with you!
XOXOXO,
Andrew + Michael
April did an AMAZING job of capturing the most magical moments and emotions at my daughter and son-in-law's wedding. Her unique style and her artistic eye created stunning "stories...
" of their special day. I barely even knew she and her assistant were even there. When looking through the photos of the day, there were so many where I had no idea she was there to capture that moment!
April and a wonderful second shooter were the perfect icing on top to our perfect wedding day. They captured such true, raw emotion with such a unique style. I was ecstatic - more ...
beautiful than I had ever dreamed. I feel it's worth mentioning, my very traditional mama was in tears over how beautiful and emotional the images were. I can't thank her enough for her thoughtful preparation before the wedding, ease and calm spirit throughout the day - barely noticed her in the BEST way, and incredible work. I cannot stop looking at them over and over. Could not recommend her more for your special day!

erything that was important to us. Very creative and unique style. I HIGHLY recommend her to all!!
I truly can not say enough good things about April & how amazing of a job she did capturing every special, loving moment during my wedding.

ven though I asked with very short notice, and drove into town early the morning of my wedding despite having a car accident a couple days before. She is so reliable & professional that for that reason alone I'd sing her praises.
She made me feel perfectly at ease while she was at work to the point I completely went off of whatever recommendation she suggested. Which thankfully she has endless amounts of ideas to capture stunning moments between you & your significant other, family, etc.
I am so in love with how my pictures came out & I know it has everything to do with April & her many talents. 20 out of 10 stars!
I recently booked a photography session with April (Local Nomad Photography) and I was immediately impressed by her! When I first met her, she was so welcoming and made me feel ver...
y comfortable my entire photo shoot! She gave me enough direction during the shoot to make sure I looked stunning and even when the sun was going down in the studio she "hugged" the windows for light and the end results were and are amazing. Her turn around to deliver the photos was very quick (especially since she knew my wedding was coming up soon) but this did not keep her from producing high quality and beautiful work. I am incredible happy with my photos and it was so hard to choose my "favorites." She definitely has a "raw" and natural but beautiful and "not posy" feel to her photos. She really makes her photos feel like she is telling a story/adventure and almost film-like, which is exactly what I was looking for! I never looked "washed-out" but instead you could see all the beautiful rich-deep details/colors in my lace outfits and my make up. She had everything I was looking for in a photographer for the type of session I chose and I am so glad I trusted her with this! April is creative, funny, and soooo personable. I highly recommend her!
