I loved Lochel's Bakery!!! My cake came out perfectly!!! It is so BEAUTIFUL!!! I love looking back at photos of the cake, it just makes me want to order another one!!! I really had a vision for my cake and they just went above and beyond to get that vision right!! I had a four tier wedding cake and had a particular design I wanted on each tier of the cake as well as roses cascading down the front of it. They really put hard work into decorating it just like I asked and getting the roses just right! Everything I wanted was included in my package with Spring Mill Manor and it was super reasonable!! Would book them again 100%

Our venue included a cake from this bakery as part of our wedding package. The cakes our delicious and our wedding cake turned out great! I would have given them 5 stars, but the planning process was a little frustrating. We left our cake tasting not having decided on a design. It would have been helpful if they stayed with you during the tasting to help guide us in choosing a design instead of checking in every 15mins or so. If they had been present the whole time we would have found out we could pick more than one flavor and we wouldn't have spent so much of the hour we had on picking the flavor. We could have spent more time figuring out the design, but instead we had to do it all through email. At times, the email response time could have been better and more clear. A few times our questions weren't answered, and the questions I answered for them weren't noted because they would ask them again a few weeks later. I would still recommend them since the final product was great.

Our wedding cake was beautiful - perfectly done to the picture we gave them to a cake we saw online. It was delicious - even a year later on our first anniversary! They included our kids in the cake tasting session so they weren't left out of the experience. We loved our cake so much we got my parents' 50th anniversary cake there as well. Two years later, they are still talking about how much they loved their strawberry shortcake!

Our venue offered us one of two bakeries for our cake, and my husband and I could not have been more pleased with choosing Lochel's Bakery! At the cake tasting, there were a variety of flavors to try, as well as a couple of books filled with cake designs and inspiration ideas. The team was so willing to help us customize and design our cake to be what we envisioned for our special day. We had two cake flavors - chocolate chip and lemon - and we received so many compliments on both of them! The cake was not too sweet and moist, and the team decorated our cake with the florals we dropped off and our cake topper. We did not have to worry about coordinating our cake because they delivered it straight to the venue the morning of our wedding. We will definitely be recommending them to all of our friends!

The process of picking out the cake was easy with binders full of photos and different kinds of cake to taste test and friendly help provided. Guests loved the cake and talked about it long after! You can't give wrong with Lochel's!

We had the pleasure of using Lochel's Bakery through our venue, Flourtown Country Club. Lochel's has the cutest cake tasting space and Maura is so sweet to work with! We went with the mocha chip cake flavor with buttercream icing and a very simple and clean design - it was a literal dream come true. Our guests even commented on how delicious it was! I love that Lochel's gives you a free anniversary cake so you don't have to worry about saving your cake from your wedding day for an entire year. Lochel's Bakery was the perfect fit for our wedding cake! Our venue included a cake from Lochel's in our wedding package. It was such an easy process to set up a consultation appointment. At the appointment, we were able to see different styles and try different flavors. We very much appreciated the help in determining a simple, yet elegant design to fit our style. I love that when our guest count dropped, they changed our cake size to better fit our needs. We had so many guests comment on how beautiful our cake was and how delicious it tasted! They took the picture I had in my head and created my cake just how I wanted it! The flavors were delicious and everyone loved the cake!

My fiance and I visited 3 bakeries when deciding on who to use for our wedding cake, Lochel's blew them all away. When we first arrived for our tasting, we were taken into a private and quiet room for the tasting. This was already an upgrade from the 2 previous bakeries who stuck us at a small table in the middle of their shop. But what really sold us was the options, and the cake itself. There were so many different design options to choose from as well as cake and icing flavors. And the cake it self was AMAZING!!!! Do yourself a favor and go to Lochel's first, don't waste your time with anyone else!

Lochel's was the bakery that was included in my wedding package at Flourtown Country Club. When my husband and I went in for the tasting they were awesome and helped guide us with what would look best with our color scheme and alerted us to how certain things would come out. We gave them a few pictures of what we were looking for in our cake and they definitely delivered. The cake tasted and looked amazing and was exactly what I was looking for!

We got cupcakes and a cake from Lochel's for our wedding. My brother, who loves cupcakes, is now going to Lochel's for his wedding! They provide a wide variety of selections of cupcakes, and cakes! We picked a raspberry- pound cake, and 4 different types of cupcakes for our wedding, and we loved them ALL.

Lochel's cakes are absolutely delicious! My husband and I lucked out that our venue recommended Lochel's because their cakes are amazing. The bakery is adorable, so organized, and the staff are very professional and easy to work with. I highly recommend this bakery not only for wedding cakes, but also for every special occasion. Over the holidays, I even ordered holiday cookie trays that turned out perfect! Love this bakery

Lochel's was contracted with our vendor and we are so glad they were. Everything from the tasting to our wedding cake was wonderful and exactly what I wanted! We received so many compliments on our cake .So excited to have our anniversary cake in a year!

I honestly cannot not say enough amazing things about Lochel's bakery. I have been frequenting their shop for years and I couldn't think of anyone else I'd rather have make our wedding cake! They were so sweet and collaborative. From the first cake appointment to the final drop-off, we knew we made the right choice. The cake was so stunning, it became a major focal point. More importantly, it tasted amazing! Nothing beats Lochel's buttercream frosting. I wish there were more stars to give the best and sweetest bakery in America. Bottom line: if you want to love your cake - go with Lochel's!

Lochel's provided the cake via my venue. We went for a tasting and the way that they laid out the cake was adorable. They had plenty of options to choose from. They transported the cake to the venue the day of and did everything I had asked. We got chocolate chip layers and pumpkin spice layers. The pumpkin spice was a hit!

Amazing wedding cake! Still getting compliments weeks later. Will be using Locehl's as our go to bakery from now on and certainly would recommend for a wedding cake! Staff was helpful and patient and was willing to customize our cake to exactly what we wanted!

We got our wedding cake from Lochel's. It was fantastic. Everything about them was top shelf. From our tasting and picking out our cake up until how pretty and delicious our cake turned out. Not only did our cake taste amazing, but it looked phenomenal! We dreamed of having a cake covered with rainbow sprinkles. They helped up make it a reality! We could not have wished for a more perfect wedding cake!!

We ordered a 2 tier cake for our wedding in Huntingdon, pa. That is almost 4 hours from the bakery. The cake made it with not a scratch on it and it was beautiful! Exactly what we wanted and it tasted amazing, I would definitely recommend log held for all your bakery needs!!

Our cake was absolutely stunning and it tasted absolutely delicious. I had family members calling me the next day asking where we got our wedding cake from. We were so lucky that our wedding venue offered Lochel's Bakey to get our wedding cake at. We are looking forward to eating the top half next year.

I am so happy we went with Lochel's for our wedding cake. They were the second baker we met with and we had a great experience. I didn't have a good idea of what I wanted, and they gave us helpful information and showed us lots of samples. They also didn't pressure us and gave us time alone to discuss the different designs and to discuss which of the cakes that we had tasted we liked best. In the end, our cake look exactly how I wanted, and tasted amazing! I continue to get compliments about how good it was. I also think it's awesome that they give you a coupon to get a fresh anniversary cake. I already can't wait to eat it!

Our experience with Lochel's Baker for our wedding cake was phenomenal. Our visit to the store to pick out our cake was so professional and well-done; both my husband and I couldn't stop commenting throughout the entire appointment how much we enjoyed it. On our wedding day itself, the cake was absolutely GORGEOUS and the guests loved it. We ordered chocolate chip and vanilla, and both flavors were to-die-for. Lochel's was perfect. Go with them 100%.

I cannot imagine ordering my wedding cake from anywhere but Lochel's. Not only were they extremely helpful at my cake testing in helping me decide the type of cake I wanted, but the cake was the best-tasting cake I have ever had. Lochel's also gave me the option to order my cake topper from them, which saved me from ordering it separately myself. They were extremely responsive to my e-mails, which made my experience all the better. I am still hearing from my guests about how delicious the cake was, and many even asked where I got it from. Fabulous cakes, they do an incredible job with designing and decorating, plus the flavors are great too! We wanted a beauty and the beast style cake and the idea they came up with was perfect, all the way down to the icing roses they made. They were great!

Lochel's happened to be the bakery that was included with our reception package at Spring Mill. However, we have lived in the Hatboro area our whole lives and used them for bridal shower and baby shower cakes over the years. They never disappoint! Their new little tasting room is adorable. Everyone I have dealt with at the store has been great! I was so happy that they were the bakery attached with spring mill!

Our wedding venue offered Lochel's Bakery as the bakery for our cake and we LOVED it! We got EVERYTHING we wanted including multiple tiers, different shapes, flavors, finishing touches and more. We chose the pumpkin chocolate chip and the raspberry swirl and it was AMAZING for our fall wedding. I was SO in love with how the cake looked and it was even more amazing to eat! The cake was delicious! Lochel's was great to work with up to the wedding! The flavors in our cake were lemon and almond raspberry and we got a lot of compliments on how our cake looked!

I was not impressed during the tasting session, but then the cake tasted delicious on the wedding day and afterwards. The only thing I didn't like was the icing...very bland and just a poor quality icing. Maybe ask them if they do other icings besides their fluffy buttercream type. But the cake itself is moist and tasty.

I was lucky enough that my venue worked with Lochel's because their cake is amazing. Even if it wasn't the place my venue used, I would have still picked Lochel's. Our wedding cake looked exactly as we had asked and it was DELICIOUS. My husband loves their chocolate chip cake. It was so good. I highly recommend Lochel's Bakery.

Lochel's is the bakery which our venue works with , and we were very pleased with them. We had the BEST cake ever! It was my husbands idea to go "out of the box", so we chose to go with a sprinkle cake! It was such a crowd pleaser, not just for the presentation but for the taste as well!! Their raspberry pound cake is amazing!!! I would def recommend them!

Our cake from Lochel's was both beautiful and delicious. They did a great job of creating exactly what we wanted, even though the picture we brought in was not 100% what we wanted. They were easy and enjoyable to work with. When a small change came up during the decoration of the cake, they called to verify it. It was the alternative we had previously discussed, but it was great to know exactly what we would be seeing on our big day. The cake itself was delicious and the best man could not stop eating it. We cannot wait to eat it again in one year!

Our venue works exclusively with Lochel's so we hoped for a decent cake. we got more that a decent cake, we got an AMAZING cake! We were blown away at our at-venue tasting with 4-5 different kinds of cake and 4-5 icings. Then our wedding coordinator told us we should go for an in-store tasting. There, we were able to pick from probably 10 kinds of cake, icings and fillings. We opted for something a little different -- almond chocolate chip cake with vanilla icing. It rocked. We look forward to eating it again in 11 months! We also ordered donuts from there for our breakfast the next day and people raved about them. And the price was very reasonable for the quality we got. I highly recommend Lochel's!

My Cake was perfect and delicious. All of our guest thought it was absolutely gorgeous and delicious. When I saw the cake I was completely blown away.

We were recently married on September 27th, 2014. One of the details of the wedding planning that my husband and I were both looking forward to was cake selection! We went for our cake testing and it was one of my favorite days. We had a variety of flavors to select and taste. My husband and I have the same "taste" (pun intended) in cake flavors. We went with chocolate and chocolate chip. We selected a beautiful ivory 4 tiered square cake with a touch of "bling" on it. In the back of our minds we both couldn't stop thinking about the awesome sprinkle cake that Lochel's had. About 4 weeks prior to our wedding I emailed Maura the store manager to ask if we could make a change and select the sprinkle cake. It was no problem at all! My hubby had no idea until the day of the wedding that our cake would be "talked about everyday" sprinkle cake. One of the best pictures we have is my husband seeing the surprise sprinkle cake. It was the most BEAUTIFUL cake ever. Our wedding was formal and elegant and this cake added a bit of fun. It was simply perfect. It was fun with a touch of elegance with the ribbons added to it. Until this day- 47 days later- everyone is still talking about our cake. Not only was it beautiful- it was one of the best tasting cakes we have ever had - and we take our cake eating seriously :). If you want a beautiful cake (they have SO many selections), great taste and excellent service- Lochel's Bakery is the way to go for sure! We also got our awesome hamburger cake for our rehearsal dinner there. Next up- Thanksgiving dessert will be ordered from Lochel's :)

These guys were phenomenal! By the time our cake tasting was done with lochels we could not wait to see and eat our cake! Besides coming in here to grab pastries and last minute desserts we need, we had them do our wedding cake. We got to personalize our flavors and then they have a ton of sample pictures to get ideas going in how you would like your cake to look. They really do such a great job personalizing everything. At our reception our cake was set up by our sweetheart table. I loved just being able to look at it all night. We also had a cake topper made that we didn't know if it was going to be to heavy. They were so detailed and checked it out for us, assuring it would be fine. It was set perfectly by them on top of our cake and we got TONS of compliments. Thanks so much for adding such a great touch to our wedding:)

This year marks 10 years I have been married. Everyone still talks about how beautiful and delicious that cake was. Lochel's staff are very professional and dedicated caring people. The cake was still great on our first anniversary that we celebrated. Can't go wrong with this bakery!

I got married 10/27/12, we had a perfect small wedding in laguna beach california. On 7/27/13, we had a christmas in july themed reception in pa. I have lived in pa my whole life, and had heard wonderful things about lochels wedding cakes, and had previously had donuts, pound cake, and buttercakes, all yummy! i met with lochels, with a drawing in hand of what i wanted my cake to look like. They sent me home with a box of cake samples ( husband was unable to come) and we ordered our cake. It was three tier, three different flavors (chocolate chip pound cake, vanilla pound cake with raspberry filling, buttercream icing, and carrot cake, cost a bit more but totally worth it!!), and beautifully decorated christmas presents, just like my drawing! And so flavorful and perfect, delivered to my venue. It was a perfect yummy cake for my reception. The staff is friendly, and they work with you to create your dream cake! I truly recommend them to everyone! Plus... you get a beautiful free anniversary cake the month of your first anniversary, so you can eat fresh cake (not yucky frozen cake!!) A very thoughtful bonus!! Dont hesitate, call Lochels today!

Lochels Bakery made us a great cake for our October wedding! They had so many different choices to pick from at our tasting with a great variety of fillings! Our cake came out so great. They were very easy to work with and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Our Wedding Cake came out much better than I was expecting. I thought it was beautiful! We had to change the design a tad because the guest list numbers went down some, but it still looked just as amazing, and it was yummy too. The girls at the bakery are pretty nice as well.
