staff members stand out in particular, Mary Ann Kenmotsu and Kamblin Chang. Mary Ann is the reason we chose Loews Chicago O'Hare as our wedding venue. She was the first person we met on our venue search, and she set the bar incredibly high—spending twice the typical tour time with us, answering every question, and offering thoughtful advice that went far beyond the basics. As we toured other venues, we kept comparing them to our experience with Mary Ann, and it became clear: working with her would make our wedding not just easy, but exceptional. Throughout the planning process, her professionalism, warmth, and deep experience shone through. She gave us honest, expert advice—like when she suggested changes to our hors d'oeuvres selection to make it more crowd-pleasing. She was always right, and we trusted her completely. It was also evident that Mary Ann is deeply respected by the entire hotel staff, and that mutual respect created a seamless, collaborative environment. Our wedding was as smooth and special as it was because of her. Mary Ann is truly magic. Kamblin is an absolute rock star. From the moment we met her, she understood us—picking up on our sense of humor right away and even helping us pull off a lighthearted practical joke on our sister. That warmth and connection carried through the entire planning process. She was incredibly responsive, always quick to answer our (many!) emails or hop on a call when we needed clarity. We had several disability-related accommodations for guests, and Kamblin handled them with care and thoughtfulness, ensuring everyone was comfortable and included. We trusted her completely, and because of her, our wedding weekend unfolded seamlessly. Kamblin made us feel supported every step of the way, and we are so grateful for her role in making our wedding everything we dreamed of.

was 1,000% successful thanks to Mary Ann. Her education, knowledge and know-how around the hotel and its events in general are second to none. To say she is flexible, smart and beyond wise in all parts of the wedding arena is an understatement. Plus, to see her in action with all her co-workers, at all levels, was such a pleasure—she is respectful of everyone and quite respected by everyone as well. Mary Ann shines bright everywhere she walks and with everyone at the hotel--no exaggeration. Not only did we love her, but so did our adult kids, our wedding coordinator, and all the other outside vendors that helped with our wedding. Wow—that’s a great feat and a true testament to Mary Ann’s terrific-ness. One more thing: Mary Ann’s heart is giant-sized and she truly loves her job—both of which are so evident when meeting her initially and then working with her throughout our planning process. She never ceased to amaze us! Kudos to the Loews Chicago O’Hare hotel for having Mary Ann be such an integral part of its organization. We also worked with Kamblin Chang and she is amazing! She was a huge part of our daughter’s wedding planning. She kept all details from the tasting (six months prior) to the final weeks before the wedding in check, plus she kept us on the ball with our specific “to do” lists, and ran the wedding day/evening like a champ making certain every “I” was dotted and every “t“ crossed. Everyone at the hotel loves working with Kamblin, as was evidenced by all the exchanges we either witnessed firsthand, or those we heard learned/heard about throughout the months-long planning process. Plus, ALL our outside vendors loved working with her as well. No task was too big or small for Kamblin to tackle 100%, plus she did so with such style and grace…and with excellent results! A win all around! It was an honor and a pleasure to have Kamblin on our wedding team. She puts her wonderful heart and soul into everything she does--we couldn’t have survived without her, nor have had as successful a wedding as we did. Kudos to the Loews organization for having Kamblin in such an important role.
