The room block was managed seamlessly by the sales managers, Lena and Shaniya, and our guests had no trouble checking in with the help of the front desk team led by Chris, Simone, and Veronica. The bell staff was incredibly helpful in getting our things settled into the rooms, making the whole process so much easier for everyone. My daughter and son-in-law also stayed here to get ready for the big day. We used a suite for the bridal party and a hospitality suite for the groomsmen. Both were spacious and the perfect places to get ready. We even used Joseph Anthony Spa for hair and makeup, which made the morning of the wedding a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The rehearsal dinner and welcome party were an absolute highlight! The venue was beautifully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that allowed everyone to relax and mingle. The food and drinks were exceptional, and the service was top-notch. Andrew, the captain, was so helpful in setting up and offering great tips throughout the evening. The servers, including Cassandra—who even returned some items we accidentally left behind—were wonderful. Anahed and Jaswinder were amazing too, providing fantastic service and ensuring everything ran smoothly. It was the perfect way to kick off the weekend and set the tone for the wedding celebrations to come. WE also loved the lobby bar. The staff was amazing as well. Loved the Bourbon suggestions that Irene and Lindsey made for us and the guest. The post-wedding brunch the following morning was equally impressive. The spread was not only delicious but also offered a variety of options to satisfy every guest's tastes. It was the perfect opportunity for our friends and family to gather one last time, reminisce about the wedding, and enjoy a leisurely morning together. The brunch staff, led by Andrew and Malik, were incredibly attentive, ensuring everyone felt well taken care of. Manny, Cassandra, Effat, and Tharwat were also so helpful, assisting us whenever we needed them. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The attention to detail, outstanding service, and beautiful spaces made our wedding weekend truly special. We are so grateful for the unforgettable rehearsal dinner, welcome party, get-ready spaces, and brunch, and we highly recommend this hotel to any couple planning their big day.

Andreea is both professional and personable and ensured we knew all our options for a reception at the Loews. Andreea helped us take advantage of all the amazing event spaces the Loews has to offer (cocktail hour on the 33rd floor, reception in the Millennium Hall, after party in Bank & Bourbon) as well as created a custom package for our reception and cocktail hour that reflected everything we could have wanted. Maria and Lena with the room reservation teams were so wonderful to work with, taking amazing care of our families and accommodating all our changes and requests. The entire Loews staff (catering, concierge, front desk, etc) was absolutely wonderful during our stay. Our guests are still commenting on the exceptional service. About a third of our wedding guests stayed at the Loews and expressed it was the perfect location to spend the weekend exploring Philadelphia.

We booked Loews for both our ceremony, after party, and farewell brunch on the day following the wedding. Throughout the booking and planning process, we received regular communication from the team at Loews who were very capable in assisting us with organizing the timing for our celebrations as well as the food and beverage selection for our various events. We also hosted a hotel room block for our guests at Loews, and the team including Lena, Shaniya and Suzanne were so kind in assisting us with that process for the assigned rooms, lists of guests, and in-suite dining. During our event, every staff member that we interacted with from the front desk to the events staff and housekeeping, everyone at Loews is extremely professional and gracious. It made me feel that we and our guests were cared for, which was important to us on an important occasion like this, when many folks were visiting from out of town. Our wedding ceremony on the 33rd floor was such a perfect and beautiful setting. Andreea went above and beyond to help us have a ceremony that was truly beautiful and special. She had creative and thoughtful suggestions for how to make our day the best, and we are thankful for her experience and wisdom. I will never forget how hard she worked to make that happen, and I am truly grateful to her and all of her colleagues at Loews for their teamwork that brought our day together.

Many of our guests said it was the most organized ceremony that they had been to. We absolutely LOVED the 33rd floor for cocktail hour and brunch. Our guests loved the views which were unparalleled. For the reception, Andreea worked very closely with us to make sure that we were happy with the food and drink choices. She was very responsive and so great to work with for all aspects of planning/coordinating. ! I was worried about the logistics of a large wedding but Andreea and her team are absolute pros. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the hotel was many guests told us this was the best wedding they had been to. We had a wonderful experience at the Loews and could not recommend it more.

Based on the other reviews I am reading, it seems if you have an actual wedding at the Loews you may get more attention than if you book a room block. If you decide to go with this hotel, be prepared for headaches, they were one of my most difficult vendors to work with. There is no internal alignment at the Loews, leaving you (the bride) to chase multiple people to try and get a clear answers, which is the last thing you want to be dealing with. We had a room block with an attrition, meaning that if we did not fill our room block quota that we would be liable for paying for the rooms we did not fill. The reservation team at the Loews told my guests that the room block had been filled only to find out they had misinformation, this went on for 2 weeks before it got clarified & my guests could book rooms. The Loews did give me additional rooms which they emphasized was gracious of them, but they caused the issue so they should have been responsible to make it right. As for catering, I agree with the review that said you must stay on top of that team, if you don’t then you won’t have food. I also paid for food for 12 people while getting ready in the suite and was given one medium thermos of coffee and when we asked for more, we were told that it would be an additional charge. The amount of coffee should be the same as the food provided. I was also told that I had to pay for my in-suite food prior to the day of the reservation and provided credit card information to the Loews, only to get a bill three weeks later for the same thing that I already given. Again, no internal alignment at this hotel – everyone is all over the place. The same thing happened to us with the welcome bags, some people got them when they checked in and others didn’t. I will say the outward facing staff at the Loews was wonderful, and our pictures did turn out well but if you go with this hotel for your room block, be prepared for headaches and unclear information.

As a couple “to be” you are already a bit stressed that all goes as planned; we went into the day with assurances that all would be fine, especially because the communication was always on point and the team was quickly responsive. I have to say we had the best wedding of our imagination at the Philadelphia Loews- oh and our personal server for the night was sweet, attentive, professional, and totally added to the experience! Venue- check; service from inception to end - check; recommendations- check; genuine excitement and support- check; perfect wedding day to begin our marriage- BIG CHECK ✅

We also recommend getting the upgraded wedding package which nearly doubles the selections and adds a lot of nice touches to the reception. the planning stage to the wedding day... Andreea Denes (catering sales manager) along with all Loews amazing STAFF were a pleasure to work with! Andreea seamlessly coordinated the wishes of our daughter and son-in-law (who resided in South Carolina at the time) along with the Bride and Grooms family in NJ to create a wonderful and memorable wedding reception . Andreea was always professional and was easy to communicate with when questions arose. A huge SHOUT OUT to the wonderful Loews STAFF for the great service and delicious and plentiful FOOD that our guests still can't stop talking about. The event ran smoothly allowing the Bride and Groom to enjoy their day!! The whole 33rd floor was utilized for the wedding - the Cocktail hour took place in two rooms full of windows with a stunning view of the city, dinner in the lovely main room with a large window across the front. then music and dancing and one of the bars in an adjacent room which allowed for the party to continue while leaving some guests to sit and talk without having to yell over loud music. There is also a large foyer where another bar was located that allowed for guests to congregate and take in a gorgeous view of Philadelphia. Parking was conveniently located right at the hotel. Room blocks were arranged for our guests who chose to stay overnight in beautiful and clean rooms. The hotel in a whole was lovely and clean. We did host a breakfast the next morning on the 33rd floor for those who stayed overnight. Again the food did not disappoint. Our guests still rave about the food and what a great time they had as did we !!

She answered questions quickly and put in so much care to make sure that the Loews did everything they could to provide us with the wedding we wanted. We had a Indian-Jewish fusion wedding ceremony that introduced complications in terms of design and set up, but Andreea and her team at Loews were accommodating at every turn. On the wedding weekend itself, we were impressed with the level of service we received. When something unexpectedly went awry with decor on the day of the wedding, a number of staff members (including Andrew, Tony, and Steve) were fast in helping us find alternative solutions and additional items we could use. All in all, we are so grateful we had our wedding at the Loews Hotel and would strongly recommend it to others!

We also had our after party at Bank and Bourbon, complete with drink tickets, which was perfect for us and our guests. Oh and by the way, the bridal suite that the Loews put us in was epic. In the months leading up to the event and throughout the whole wedding weekend, Huajia’s continuous availability and the support from the Loews made all the difference!

I have so many friends who were getting married around the same time and they all had difficulties with their venue in the face of the pandemic. We did not. Loews Philadelphia stood up to the challenge and helped us move forward, they ensured to us that all would be okay. Our saving grace, ultimately, became Huajia who became involved with our wedding a few months before the date. She became the person I didn’t realize I needed but - was who I needed. Someone who knew the hotel in and out, every square foot- she made every request, dream, hope, and worry her sole priority . She made our dreams come true. She worked with our vendors day in and day out to make sure the visions we had didn’t just remain as visions. She responded to me at all hours, knowing that even a word from her when I was unsure about something would be so much to me. Our families could only rave about Loews, along with the hundreds of extended friends and family we had at the event. If I could have a wedding every year- this is where it would be. The staff, the service, the venue, and the commitment are indescribable. They are luxury with the face of familiarity, approachability, and compassion. Love to this team and this hotel - always always and always!

There were so many options for guest at cocktail hour with different hors d'oeuvres and multiple stations to choose from. Dinner was also fantastic! Unfortunately because of Covid restrictions, we were not able to have a full tasting, but we were still accommodated and able to test out some of the salad and entree options for dinner. Even without getting a chance to taste the cocktail hour food, we made our selections and were so happy with how everything tasted! Planning out details with Huajia was a life-saver! She made me feel like everything was under control - and it definitely was! She was ready to answer my questions and get the ball rolling right away on the morning of our wedding and throughout the night. Everything went so smoothly! We had the absolute perfect day and could not recommend the Loews enough!!

The week of the wedding we found out that we would be permitted to have our reception for up to 75 people. It was the 1st wedding in over a year that the Loews had held. Craig and Huajia quickly put plans into place on how to modify our cocktail hour and ballroom's setup to adjust for the changed guest count. They were even able to provide us with last minute vendors for additional add-ons. In addition to Craig and Huajia, Sabrina was in charge of our room block for guests. She was always quick with her responses and accommodated last minute changes while still honoring our room block rate. The night of the reception, Huajia was there upon our arrival to ensure anything we needed was taken care of. One of the things that was important to us was quickly moving through wedding traditions so that we could begin the party and Huajia kept us on schedule so that we were able to do that. We got our own personal server the night of the wedding and she always made sure that we were alright and was quick to refill our drinks if we were low. We were able to have our cocktail hour on the 33rd floor which has the most beautiful views of the city that we have ever seen! The food was delicious! Our guests still talk about how great the food was especially during cocktail hour. Our reception was held in the Regal Ballroom which has a modern feel. Due to all of our difficulties with Covid, the hotel even upgraded our drink package and suite, again with incredible views of the city! The only thing we were disappointed with was that you can no longer take pictures up on the roof with the PSFS sign. Apparently there has been a change with insurance so they are no longer doing it. But we were having so much fun during the party we did not mind that much in the moment. While it was difficult to cut down our guest list to 75 people, we are thrilled that we were able to have our reception in our original venue of choice. The Loews is a breathtaking venue and beyond accommodating for their clients.

Loews for providing the rooms/suites for the wedding party as well as a gorgeous skyline view room for our farewell brunch. Andreea and the whole Loews team could not have been more professional or responsive and helped us come up with a wonderful custom brunch buffet. They even accommodated our request to have the wedding party on the same floor despite being completely booked up—it meant a lot. And let’s not forget being able to take our getting ready and first-look photos in one of the most historic buildings in Philadelphia (and for that matter, the nation!) The incredible art-deco architecture views were an incredible bonus! At the end of a very long and happy day, we got back to our suite to find a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and custom pillow covers—so thoughtful! Thank you so much to the whole Loews team—we will never forget your help and we’d highly recommend your hotel to any couples looking for an amazing venue to be part of their special day. Our guests wouldn't stop raving about how beautiful the views were. During the reception we utilized the Terrace again as a bar/lounge area and also had a photobooth in that room. This was Andreea's idea and it was a perfect plan because it gave people a chance to move around, enjoy the view, but also be close to the main room (Howe) where the all the action was/dancefloor was. The food was spectacular and we were treated to a beautiful tasting event about 8 months prior the wedding where the Chef actually personally came out and introduced himself and promised every meal served would be perfect. He held true to his promise. We received many compliments on the cocktail hour offerings/display stations as well as the dinners. All of the Loews staff was amazing, especially Andreea. From day one I could tell we were in great hands, particularly because she did an excellent job of listening to us and making sure that all of our ideas were heard and concerns were addressed. She help make all of our visions come true. If we could do it all over again, we wouldn't change a thing.

From our first meeting with Andreea, I knew we were in good hands as she is so professional, kind and attentive to detail. She carefully listened to our desires and requests and worked diligently to make them happen! Since my husband was born in India, I wanted our wedding to be a reflection of both his culture and my American culture. Andreea guided us in combining the two cultures, allowing the hotel to work with an outside Indian caterer to provide additional food. Throughout the year of wedding planning, Andreea readily made herself available by phone and in person for several meetings. The location of the Loews at 1200 Market was perfect for both our out of town guests and those locals who wanted to make a night of it in the city! The rooms are beautiful and we were able to provide our guests with a fabulous room rate! The night before the wedding, Andreea upgraded us to a gorgeous suite which was perfect for the bridal party getting ready. After the reception, the hotel workers sent food back to our suite as they noticed my husband and I didn't make much time for eating during the reception! The bar in the hotel lobby provided a great setting for the after party! I was so happy with our special day and would highly recommend the Loews for an event!

She was able to guide us and help plan the best night of our lives.
