I cannot say any better things about Loews Portofino, they gave us the most beautiful wedding and the staff was nothing short of amazing and helpful. I had an event captain who worked in tandem with my wedding planner and they made everything literally flawless, down to every detail. They even found me advil when I had a headache! I worked closely during the planning with Bonnie Garfield who was professional and helpful, answering all my questions and making sure my menu was perfect, the way I wanted, and that my guests with allergies and religious dietary restrictions were taken care of. If I could give 5 million stars to Bonnie and her team, I would do it in a heartbeat. The venue was also BEAUTIFUL and my guests were blown away by it. Thank you Loews team for making our wedding dreams a reality!

BEAUTIFUL AND EASY! I had my ceremony and reception here. It is obviously a beautiful venue and the rooms are super nice too. The service staff were well dressed - white tails on dry cleaned suits that fit them (sorry its a pet peeve when I see service staff with stains on ill-fitted attire lol) Staff appeared courteous with guestgs. After helping out at a friend's wedding that was a couple months after mine, I also can especially appreciate how the venue was pretty up front about pricing - there weren't really any surprise costs. If you add parking in your package make sure to have your DJ or MC announce multiple times how to get the validation passes as several of my guests paid for self-parking. If you want to have a picture on the winding open staircase inquire ahead of time if it will be available. I was such a newb and didn't have one of those involved moms so I was clueless lol: I highly recommend you go ahead and splurge to get the honeymoon suite night before so you and bridesmaid can use it as bridal suite to get ready; the regular rooms are a tight squeeze for 6 girls.

n and to execute your vision. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is because we had an issue with our final bill that I think could have been better handled. Other than that, everything was perfect!

y questions or concerns. Our initial tour with Bonnie was great and the property impressed us. There are just so many beautiful features to this hotel that we knew we wanted our wedding here. Bonnie was always gracious to answer any email questions we had and I really felt like she invested herself in helping make our big day the best. We had our ceremony on the Villa piazza which was gorgeous. It was just as beautiful as I imagined in my mind. We then had our reception in the Venetian ballroom with the huge windows and chandeliers. Everything was perfect on the day of our wedding. We had a beautiful suite to get our hair/makeup done that overlooked the piazza so we got to watch the ceremony location get set up. The reception was great and numerous people told me they had the best food at a wedding. I would totally agree, the food exceeded my expectations. The service by the banquet staff is remarkable. They were so kind and hospitable to everyone. Overall, we loved everything about this hotel. The staff is great and all the amenities were terrific. I would get married here a million more times. Best day ever!

ortofino Bay Hotel. The prices were very reasonable, and it was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. Our pictures are stunning, in part thanks to the gorgeous scenery at the hotel. My husband and I, as well as many of our guests, have traveled to Italy, and the hotel is a perfect replica. I am so happy that we made the choice to have our wedding at this venue. We were treated like royalty from the first second of our week-long stay, and were even assigned a VIP concierge. I would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

that's huge!). The ballroom gorgeous, and there are so many amazing spots for photos. The best part of the Portofino Bay Hotel experience is Bonnie Garfield, the wedding coordinator onsite. She is beyond professional, and made everything run so smoothly. ions. Then we thought lets look closer at places closer to home. The minute we visited the Portofino Bay Hotel we knew this was the place for our wedding reception. Unlike other venues that need extra decor to give them character this location has a theme and personality like no other. Of course we did add some things but it only enhanced the already grand nature of the ballroom. I truly was so impressed by the staff and managers at the Portofino, we were treated like royalty from my wedding suite to the reception and even check out. I could not imagine my wedding day at another location.

en the day of the wedding came I felt prepared and all of my questions were answered which helped me know that the day would be wonderful. One thing that we were beyond happy with is the way the reception room turned out. The ballroom was beautiful and really took our breath away when we saw it. On top of that the food was amazing and everything came out exactly as planned. This venue was everything we dreamed of and are so glad we got married here.

the venue is gorgeous, the staff is so nice. but BEWARE the head of catering, Bonnie wIll be your main contract person and she is nightmare to work with. as long as you brace yours...

elf for her unprofessional appearance, don't ever expect her to go above or beyond her job to accomodate you, and her overall pompous attItude. The venue and the rest of the staff make up for her inexcusable behavior.
