Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando™

Having our wedding at Loews Royal Pacific was best decision we ever made. Lori helped us every single step of the way! I had no idea what I was doing and she always answered my questions quickly and with a ton of patience. The venue was beautiful! Whenever I look at pictures my breath is still taken away. Lori took care of every detail the day of. She made sure we had a dream come true wedding.

This will be long so to make it short this was supposed to be the happiest day of my life but all it turned out to be was an expensive nightmare I can never redo. This was a destination wedding for us. Unfortunately, it rained on the day of my beach wedding. It was made a bigger problem when the wedding coordinator had few rain options for us and kept showing us sites we’d fall in love with that weren’t actually available! We knew all week it was going to rain but for some reason weren’t given options until the day or two before. When we originally toured the venue we were promised any number of options in case of rain but that turned out to be completely untrue. The wedding coordinator pretty much ignored us until we arrived in Florida. She gave us the wrong phone number to book our hotel block which we had printed on our invitations. We brought it up to her and SHE DIDN’T EVEN APOLOGIZE! We had to pay for all new invitations! That’s just one of many poor interactions during the planning of our wedding. We were definitely not a priority and that was apparently clear. A wedding planner is included. She had zero interest in our budget. Almost every service we quoted through her we ended up booking ourselves which led to disastrous results. She didn’t seem to have any interest in helping us to get vendors in our price range which was definitely reasonable, if not on the higher end. The venue has a list of recommended vendors. The venue recommended DJ confused our wedding with another and played all the wrong music. He mixed up the mother-son dance songs for my husband’s mother and stepmother. I specially requested no line dances. The DJ brought a photographer and had himself photographed teaching EVERY LINE DANCE. He left a MacBook on shuffle for the cocktail hour. I’d also asked him to announce there be no cell phones so they wouldn’t be in my wedding photos. He didn’t. He was everywhere but behind his computer. He’s even in my photo booth photos. The Royal Pacific recommends the Mandara Spa in another on-site hotel. Do not get waxed there. I did and lost a very expensive white dress. They refunded me and apologized. That’s all I’ll say. At the wedding we ended up trying to have some of it outdoors before the shoved us it to a room in a back corner of their conference center. In the wantilan pavilion. They did put up one decoration. Nothing. No lights. No candles. It looked like people hanging out in a garage because of the rain. After the cocktail hour we go inside to find out the wedding coordinator didn’t make a seating chart. Something I literally emailed her and asked her if I should order place cards but she assured me it wouldn’t be necessary. Her excuse at the wedding was she thought I’d have place cards! Then they put the wrong number of chairs at the tables causing family to sit with coworkers. Food at cocktail hour was great. I don’t know what happened for dinner but it was TERRIBLE. I can’t believe how much I paid for it. The cake was beautiful and was good. To be fair the day of the wedding the team stepped up and was mostly good. The wedding coordinator and planner made the conference room look beautiful. I was just so frustrated by then I couldn’t appreciate their hard work.

We picked the Loews Royal Pacific before even seeing the property in person and it couldn't have worked out better. From our very first experience working with Angela, we knew we were in good hands. From the phone calls, to very responsive emails, and everything in between - the entire team at the Royal Pacific ensured all details were covered. When we arrived from out of town, they were very accommodating and super friendly from the moment we arrived on property. Rehearsal dinner, welcome reception, ceremony, reception, brunch - we had it all and everything was fantastic! We can't thank Angela and her team enough for making our wedding festivities a success!

We had our ceremony and reception at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort. We did the intimate wedding package and had a cake and champagne reception with 14 guests. Loews was perfect. Every member of the staff was helpful in every way. The site was set up beautifully and we are so happy we made the trip to Orlando!
