The Loft was the perfect, cozy, intimate space for our wedding of 100 guests! It is right in downtown Stillwater so there was tons for my out of town guests to do, and the entire Loft staff was very helpful leading up to the event as well as day of. When we needed assistance day of there was always staff around to help!

Amazing historic venue! Located in the heart of Stillwater, you are close enough that you can walk to take photos down by lift bridge! There are so many places for photos around town. The Loft at Studio J is clean and has a great team! I had a wonderful time at a recent wedding there!

After a ton of research of trying to find the perfect wedding venue, I fell in LOVE with The Loft at Studio J with pictures alone. Then after our walk through with the staff at The Loft, it was an easy decision to pick The Loft. My husband and I decided to go with the VIP Experience at The Loft, which provided budgets for certain wedding venue needs and the staff really made us feel like a VIP (leading up to the wedding and the day of our wedding). Emily at The Loft made our day of so special and exciting that I was able to not ever worry about anything going on in the background. She was always on top of everything and made sure we stuck to our timeline as the day went on. I cannot express how beautiful the building and location enough! Walking distance to the river for great pictures, hardwood floors, brick walls, with a beautiful bar area. The best perk was they have a photo booth for you to use during your wedding and my guests really enjoyed that feature. We highly recommend The Loft at Studio J to host your wedding!

The amazing location and beautiful historic charm made the Loft at Studio J perfect for our winter wedding. Emily and her team were a dream to work with from the second we reached out to tour; excellent, prompt communication and very personable! She was so patient with my questions and extremly helpful in customizing our venue layout and timeline to fit our needs. On the day of our wedding, the staff worked seamlessly with our vendors and helped make sure the evening ran smoothly. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and the Studio J team and bartenders!

What a perfect setting for a fall/winter wedding! Emily and the team were SO perfect to work with - and our guests would not stop raving about how wonderful the space was! It was the PERFECT size for 150 guests - not too crowded, but definitely felt like a party! Our guests got to stay within walking distance, and a bunch of us went out to explore Stillwater night life after the reception. The location truly cannot be beat, and the team was even better. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

We had our wedding at The Loft at Studio J recently and it was truly everything we wanted and more. As soon as we first toured the venue, we knew it was perfect for us - the exposed bricks, lighting, and windows are so beautiful. The layout and size was perfect for our 130 people wedding. We received a ton of compliments from guests throughout the evening on how beautiful the venue was. Emily helped us plan our event beforehand and she was so amazing - answered all of my many questions and always responding very promptly. Communication was excellent the entire time. We also worked with Kallan as our day of coordinator who was also incredible, paid close attention to detail and was on top of everything the day of. Having our wedding at the Loft was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding!

We are SO glad we chose the Loft at Studio J for our wedding reception venue! The space itself is timeless - rustic, classic, intimate, and just drop dead gorgeous. It’s perfectly conducive to a buzzing dance floor while still reserving space and opportunity for intimate conversations throughout the night. The bar location flows perfect with the rest of the evening activities, and the built in Photo Booth provides a special way for guests to capture magic moments. Oh, and did I mention it’s located in the heart of Minnesota’s most gorgeous Main Street - truly idyllic. But without question the best part of choosing The Loft is getting to work with Emily! We added on to our package to have her services as our day of coordinator and it may have been the best choice we made through our entire wedding planning. She was organized, professional, and so kind. By the time we reached our reception, we wanted her as a guest! 11/10, would recommend!

We had our wedding at The Loft and it was absolutely beautiful! The staff were so insanely helpful with planning our day and helped to make sure it ran beautifully! We had such a great time celebrating and it was the perfect space for our wedding day!

My husband and I got married here in January 2023 and it was an amazing experience all around. The venue was so intimate and beautiful in the winter. We had around 120 guests which fit perfect in the space for ceremony and reception. Emily was responsive to email and answered all of our questions as they came up. The only thing I can think that went wrong was that we ordered Lift Bridge root beer and they didn't have it for us on wedding day.

We truly had a great experience working with this venue and it was the perfect place for our wedding! Emily was so wonderful to work with: organized, flexible and willing to try and make things work for us, and palpably excited about our vision. For example, they have a huge bar menu to choose from, but we wanted a specific brand of champagne and their team went out of their way to source it for us. The process was easy, Emily was constantly reassuring and helpful, our requests were accommodated beautifully, and it was an incredibly warm and inviting atmosphere to host our people. (AND being in the heart of Stillwater for a wedding was so so fun!) For reference, we had about 125 people and it felt really comfortable. We wholeheartedly recommend this venue!

Believe me when I say- BOOK THIS VENUE. Not only is the actual building stunning, but the location is perfect, and the staff is phenomenal. The Loft truly made our wedding day what it was. We received so many comments on how beautiful of a venue it was, and so many of our guests were ecstatic about the location. Being right in downtown Stillwater gave us and our guests access to so many different things (as well as provided the perfect location for beautiful pictures). Working with Emily was easy and stress-free; she was very prompt with communication and flexible with our requests. Such a kind person! Our bartender was also wonderful- quick, polite, and patient. The Loft is fairly priced, beautiful, and overall just worth your time; they go above and beyond to make sure your day is special. You will not regret checking them out!

My husband and I got married at The Loft on 12/02/2022 and everything was perfect! Cory was our day of coordinator and he was amazing! He helped with our decorations which looked amazing, and made everything run so smooth day of. I had so many questions leading up to the day of and Emily and Kallan were both quick to answer emails, help answer questions, and let me go see the space again a couple times. The venue itself is gorgeous and has so much character. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful it was. We had both our ceremony and reception here, and the room flip was so fast and we barely even noticed it was happening! Additionally, we used their preferred caterer, Bella Vida which was delicious. Everything about our day was perfect thanks to those at The Loft!

The day of experience was 5 stars all the way. The venue is incredible, the staff were really helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of the event. The venue is beautiful, and our night was magical. The only reason that we are giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that we were expecting a little more from their expert planning package. We got a wedding advisor, and not a wedding planner. They were really helpful in giving us advice on how to find the vendors, and gave us options to look at, but at the end of the day, we ended up needing to do most of the planning ourselves.

This venue was absolutely fantastic! Our coordinators for the day, John and Sienna, ensured everything went perfectly. The venue was beautiful and everything was clearly communicated before our special day. They went above and beyond with all things. We wouldn’t change anything about our choice!

I cannot adequately express how stunning this venue is. It was the only venue my now-husband and I looked at when we started planning on our wedding. We walked out of the building after our initial tour and we both knew this was the place for us. We got so many compliments from our guests about the ambiance in the space! Emily was so wonderful to work with and helped us pull off our wedding without a hitch!

My husband and I got married at the Loft at Studio J in August and we had an amazing experience there. First, the venue is so cute on its own and requires minimal decorations which saved us a lot of time and money. We had a fairly small wedding (95 including our wedding party) and the space fit our wedding PERFECTLY. There was enough space to move around but we did not feel crowded. We worked with Emily Tweed as our coordinator and she was very professional and timely in her communication. Overall, we had a great experience here and would totally recommend this venue for anyone with a smaller wedding!

The venue was perfect and the entire staff at The Loft at Studio J was phenomenal. My wife and I were excited about the venue and our guests being able to spend the weekend in Stillwater but the staff at The Loft exceeded our already high expectations. Callie, our day of coordinator provided by The Loft, was exceptional. Callie went above and beyond to ensure that everything was exactly how we wanted it. My wife and I didn't have to worry about anything because we knew Callie had it all under control. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming to our guests and we received several compliments from our guests reflecting that sentiment. If you are considering The Loft at Studio J for your upcoming wedding, I truly cannot recommend them enough!

Gorgeous venue!! Can't say enough good things about the Loft, we fell in love with it instantly and it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. Charming, intimate, lots of character, definitely the industrial chic vibe we were looking for. The hanging lights and brick backdrop are just gorgeous. We had a relatively small headcount, 81 guests, and the space felt just right, neither cramped nor empty. Emily was our wedding planner, and she was fantastic to work with! She responded quickly, kept us on task, found us great vendors, and was our day-of coordinator, well worth the extra fee! Super nice and super professional, she knows her stuff.

If The Loft at Studio J is available on your desired date - BOOK THEM!!!! It is a beautiful rustic space that doesn’t need much additional decorating at all. Open brick, string lights, cool vintage signs, and an AMAZING chandelier over the stair case leading up to the main space. We got so many compliments on how great the space was! Plus it was so fun to be right on the Main Street in Stillwater. We worked with Emily to plan everything and she was fabulous. Super responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. We got most of our other vendors off of their vendor list and they were all amazing too. Our guests loved the photo booth as well :) We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, from getting ready in the morning to the final dance, it was the perfect space for our day!!!

We held our wedding ceremony and reception here for over 120 guests. Everything went flawlessly. So many people commented on the venue and had nothing but great things to say. With the amazing character of the building, there are not many decorations/accommodations needed. We would highly recommend this for anyone interested!

My wife and I got married here this past weekend! We had an excellent experience. Emily was so great to work with and the whole venue and staff was so accommodating to us changing our wedding date due to the pandemic. Our guests loved how cozy the space was, and loved the bar set up and bartenders. The staff truly made our night a DREAM COME TRUE!

We instantly fell in love with this venue when we saw the pictures online and loved it even more when we visited in person. From the start the staff here were really friendly and very responsive to all our questions. They did their best to accommodate our schedule especially since we live out of state and had to do the majority of our planning from there. In our final meeting we went over all the details with Emily and we felt really comfortable going into the day because we knew all the details, big and small, were taken care of. The space has so many unique features that we didn’t have to worry about decorating too much because the space really spoke for itself. The photobooth that is included in the venue was a huge bonus! Our guests had so much fun and we have ended up with some hilarious great photos to look back on from the night! Being located in downtown Stillwater was perfect too because we were only a block away from the hotel we were staying at and a couple blocks from the river. This made it so much easier to get everyone to and from the venue (no driving required!), and we were able to take our wedding party down to the river for some great photos with our photographer. We absolutely loved having our wedding here and now we have a great city to visit and explore in the years to come!

Working with the loft was super easy! They communicated within a reasonable timely manner & they were very flexible with any changes that we had even day of changes. The only thing I didn’t like was the size of the girls getting ready room way to small for all of the bridesmaids and getting ready vendors to fit and if you want to get in on time to start getting ready you have to pay a lot more. The getting ready room is really pretty though and great for pictures & storing your things during the wedding. I would recommend this venue to other brides.

I would absolutely recommend having your wedding at The Loft - everything was amazing from start to finish! Emily, Maureen, and the whole staff were extremely helpful in the planning and follow through of our day. Emily answered all of our relentless questions without hesitation and was always accommodating to our needs and wants as we moved forward. On the day of we dropped off all of our supplies and decorations, and Maureen and their crew immediately went to work setting up the venue, and it could not have looked more perfect. We are still getting compliments today on how much people loved the venue! Highly, highly recommend.

My wedding day at the Loft was truly the best day of my life. We had Cory as our Day of Coordinator and he did an amazing job getting everything done beautifully and on time. The day went completely as planned. Bella Vida Catering (preferred vendor) did an amazing job with the food. The staff was amazing to work with and they were very patient with me and my personalized requests. It was the most perfect, intimate, beautiful experience and I cannot thank everyone who helped make that happen enough. I would highly recommend this venue.

The Loft at Studio J was our dream! It is a gorgeous venue that we received a lot of compliments on. They were also great to work with. Emily was there since day one to listen and support us. She was quick to respond and very accommodating! I can’t recommend this venue for your ceremony and reception enough! We also utilized the bridal and groom’s suites for getting ready/hanging out and they were great. Good pricing too!

The Loft was incredible from start to finish. The staff was amazingly helpful throughout the entire process. The day of the wedding went off without a hitch, the venue was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff went above and beyond. My expectations were exceeded. I would recommend this venue to absolutely anyone!!!!

The Loft is a WONDERFUL place to get married. We had to cancel and redo everything because of Covid and Emily was wonderful to work with. She was kind, responsive and very helpful to offer up suggestion or other options when requested. The Loft is a perfect example of rustic industrial chic. The open floor plan really allowed for easy movement and the high ceilings and windows gave it a sense of grandness. The bar staff were so kind and quick, there was never a line to get dinks. We worked with Patti at Green Mill for catering. The food was amazing and the staff were so polite and efficient. My guest are still talking about how wonderful the food was. We had a wonderful time, so did our guests! I would highly recommend the Loft to everyone!

My wife and I were recently married at The Loft at Studio J and could not be more happy with the experience we had from start to finish. Emily, was an absolute dream to work with. She truly listened to what our wishes for our big day were and helped us to make them come to life. With all of the changes due to COVID, she always kept us informed and updated. We always knew what was going on and were able to plan accordingly with any changes. We opted to include a day of coordinator and I highly recommend you do the same! We both were able to truly enjoy our day and our wedding parties because she took care of everything for us! The staff were simply amazing and took care of all of our guests. Emily even stopped by to wish us well, ensure the day was going well, and drop off a wedding present from the team! I wish that we could we re-live the day because it was literally perfect and that is thanks to everyone at The Studio at Loft J. I also would be remiss if I did not mention that as an LGBTQ couple we never felt anything but respect and true care from everyone involved in our day. I would recommend them to anyone who is hoping to have the perfect day. . .they will deliver!

My husband and I could not be happier that we chose the Loft at Studio J for our wedding in November! Emily and Corey were amazing to work with. They were extremely responsive to my ongoing list of questions (especially during the pandemic). They were very understanding, flexible, and kind throughout the wedding planning process. A huge shout out to Emily, for being proactive and reaching out when the restrictions were placed on the wedding. They made us feel very safe and confident that they were going to handle our small wedding as safely as possible. Right away, we fell in love with the rustic vibe and knew that we could take advantage of how naturally beautiful the venue is. We loved the windows, the chiavari chairs, the bar, and the fact that it has a photobooth (which was so much fun)! It is also reasonable in price, especially for around the area. After our initial tour, they made the process so easy for us and were such a great resource. I love the portal that they put all your information in, so that you can see everything that you talked about just in case you forget something. We flipped our timeline around 9 days before the wedding due to the current restrictions, and both Emily and Corey were transparent, professional and flexible. A huge shout out to the day of coordinator - Corey, who let us use their easels/stands when I completely forgot to buy them for my signage…totally saved the day! He also went above and beyond by referring me to some good photo op locations around Stillwater for the wedding party pics, which I appreciated since I’m not from the area. Even after the wedding, they checked in to make sure that I was taken care of. I have to remind myself that we are not the only wedding they are managing…because they make you feel like the most special couple out there!
