The Log Cabin at the Presidio was the perfect venue for our wedding. It has this incredible mix of cozy, rustic charm and breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge that make it feel magical. The outdoor space was perfect for our ceremony, and the cabin itself was warm and inviting for dinner and dancing. It felt intimate but still had plenty of room for everyone to have fun. The staff was great—super helpful and easy to work with. Our guests kept saying how much they loved the space, and honestly, we couldn’t have picked a better spot. If you’re thinking about getting married here, do it!

The one thing that my now-husband and I were looking for in a wedding was "easy." Wedgewood definitely made things VERY EASY. Plus, the laid-back, outdoorsy vibe of the Log Cabin and the view of the Golden Gate Bridge were definitely appealing.
We went with the elite package and we are so glad we did. The elite package is a package with basically everything for your wedding: food, table settings, bar, photobooth, DJ, coordinator/planner, etc. Photography is extra (can do API Photography, Wedgwood's preferred vendor) and then I think personal flowers are extra as well (table flowers from Angela Floral Design come with the elite package, however). The only vendor I used from outside of Wedgewood's circle was for the flowers on the fireplace and personal flowers for me and the bridal party.
Wedgewood has a lot of options and it was so easy to just pick things and not have to worry about contacting and organizing with too many other vendors. The full open bar was perfect. The food and service was amazing. We greatly appreciated our photographer (Brianna with API) and DJ (Aldwin with iMobile, also with Wedgewood). The space was decorated super nicely with the table flowers from Angela's Floral. The wedding itself went pretty smoothly, thanks to the Wedgewood coordinators.
Of course, you don't have to do the full elite package. They have options if you have other vendors in mind. For example, maybe you want some specific food options that aren't available with Wedgewood, so you can definitely outsource just the food, but have Wedgewood take care of everything else.
The Wedgewood coordinators all had a hand in helping answer questions promptly. Overall, planning a wedding is already stressful in itself, but Wedgewood really helped with pretty much everything. It really takes a load off your shoulders! Thank you Wedgewood! We're definitely recommending Wedgewood to our friends.

We are so, so happy with our decision to hold our wedding reception at the Log Cabin at the Presidio. I would recommend the Log Cabin and their Wedgewood Weddings planning team to anyone looking for an all-in-one package, easy breezy planning, awesome event planners/coordinators, and a flawlessly executed day. The Log Cabin itself is beautiful, the food was amazing, the drinks were flowing, the flowers were beautiful, and the location in the Presidio is perfect. They have a fabulous team to help you plan and execute the wedding of your dreams! The team (Duckie, Jimmy, and Libby - huge shoutout!) all were awesome to work with through the planning process. Super communicative, responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and supportive through the whole thing. They helped us plan the most perfect day and made it so easy on us. Jimmy was our day-of coordinator and deserves extra praise for pivoting gracefully and adjusting the evening’s timeline flawlessly when our shuttles unfortunately were super late to arrive with our guests. The rest of the day-of team were all amazing, too. DJ Abel blew our socks off - we didn’t want typical wedding music, and he totally nailed the playlist and the vibe we were hoping for. I even had a touching moment with the security guard who pulled me aside and said he got emotional during the father/daughter dance, which was such a lovely thing for him to share.
Wedgewood as an organization seems to have a very organized, structured approach to wedding planning, which I so appreciated. They were great partners and helped us have the most perfect day on one of the biggest days of our lives!

Highly recommend Wedgewood and the location at Log Cabin was a dream. if you are looking for a cozy venue to house your most intimate guests and like the stress free process of wedding planning, this is the one to go. Staff are very professional and responsive from start to finish, and allowed customization with no pressure to up-sell any Wedgewood affiliated vendors throughout the process.

Had our dream wedding at the Log Cabin! We wanted a fun, campy costume party for Halloween-time, and the Wedgewood staff was super excited and helpful. All our questions were answered clearly and quickly leading up to the event, and the event was executed professionally and smoothly, even when unforeseen hiccups occurred (father of the groom got in a fender bender on the way!).
All guests were impressed by the food, music, and flowers, and the staff did such a great job accommodating our personalized decorations and kooky ceremony ideas. It was amazing to have so many elements included in the package and we were so grateful in the end to not have had to wrangle together all those vendors ourselves.
This is a beautiful venue in such a wonderful location for guests to explore; really shows off the best of SF! Highly recommend.

We had our ceremony and reception at the Log Cabin recently and it was amazing. Ducky and Jimmy made the entire planning process easy and were incredibly helpful at all times. The property is beautiful and using their vendors saved us a lot of money. Our guests are still talking about how perfect and fun the cabin, ceremony, food, and reception. 100% recommend the Log Cabin at the Presidio

The Log Cabin and the Wedgewood planning team really made our wedding day special. The images online do not do the venue justice - every time I step in for our planning meetings, the anxious part of me calms down because the venue itself really pulls its own weight when it comes down to decor. Paired with Wedgewood's additions, it really comes together in an impactful way.

We had our ceremony on the lawn outside, cocktail hour on the patio, and reception inside. We had 90 guests in attendance and felt this was the perfect size for this venue.
Pros:
- beautiful, rustic interior make minimal decorations needed
- outside view of the city and bridge
- huge dance floor
- perfect for dancing away into the evening where you can take breaks on the patio with a nice breeze; we even had a smores set up on the grill
Cons:
- as you drive up to the venue you go by what seems to look like a pile of trash that's right by the parking lot (not great but after you park you don't really notice it)
- if having ceremony outside, very subject to the fickle, windy weather of the Presidio
- the Presidio Trust has some constraints regarding vendors and decorations
- no space for bridal party to prep
- 2 stalls per gender probably not great for larger parties

With decorations and supplemental lighting ---- this venue is magical. The room itself is rustic and charming. And if the weather behaves -- the outdoor lawn and patio area are lovely and sport a terrific city view. The Presidio management are extremely cooperative, attentive and helpful --true of both the initial contact person Shirley and especially our event coordinator Rowan.
Be advised that the Log Cabin does not have a cooking kitchen (the caterer cooks in a tent outside) and the men's room accommodates one person at a time.

I know most brides are biased to their weddings, but I have to say the Log Cabin was the most amazing setting for our wedding. It was gorgeous! And the staff was so helpful. It felt like our own private cabin and it is in the middle of San Francisco. All of my guests loved it, it was large, a brand-new dance floor, a huge working fireplace, perfect views of the city I love so much. I highly recommend the Log Cabin for anyone who wants the perfect combination of rustic, nature and city.

The views are great and the place is beautiful. As a native San Franciscan, you can beat a place with these views and parking!
Downside you have to be out by midnight and it can be really windy.

we loved the log cabin for the rustic decor, atmosphere and the huge fireplace. the location has a huge lawn area where we held our ceremony. there is plenty of free parking too.;the weather in SF is unpredictible so it can get foggy in the presidio.
