The Perfect Venue for a Dream Wedding – Loggerhead Marinelife Center!
Our wedding at Loggerhead Marinelife Center was an absolute dream come true! The space was perfect in every way — unique, beautiful, and meaningful. Tonya and the entire team at LMC were an absolute joy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless from start to finish, and their professionalism and warmth made the experience so special.
Tonya actually introduced us to our incredible wedding planner, Andrea Anderson with TDW Events, who we would recommend to anyone planning a wedding. Andrea transformed the venue into a stunning Key West–inspired paradise — it truly took our breath away!
We held our ceremony on the Café Deck, cocktail hour on the Sky Deck, and our reception in the Event Center. Each space flowed beautifully into the next and created such a magical atmosphere for our guests. I also highly recommend adding the after-hours turtle experience — it was a huge hit with everyone and made the night even more memorable.
To top it all off, on the Monday after our wedding, the LMC team released a rehabilitated sea turtle back into the ocean. Watching that moment was so emotional and meaningful — it felt like the perfect ending to the perfect wedding weekend. Knowing that our celebration supported such an incredible cause made it even more special.
Loggerhead Marinelife Center isn’t just a gorgeous venue — it’s a place filled with purpose, heart, and unforgettable moments. We will cherish our wedding there forever! 💙🐢

We held our daughter’s wedding at Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) on Saturday, March 30, 2024. Our daughter’s degree is in Marine Biology and she and her new husband are both ocean lovers, so the fit was a natural for their wedding. It was such a attractive and unique venue and perfect for the upscale-but-tropical-and-relaxed vibe we wanted to have. Working with Event Manager Tonya Pelligrini and her team was a pleasure right from our first emails, and that continued straight through the Big Day itself.
We held all the wedding events - ceremony, cocktail party, and dinner reception - at LMC. The LMC facilities allowed us and our guests to have a variety of experiences all within the same location. The wedding ceremony was held on the covered Café Deck, the cocktail party was on the higher partially-covered Oceanview Deck, and the dinner and dancing took place inside the Ocean Discovery Ballroom. The spaces start as basically blank slates, so you have to do the planning and secure all needed rentals, but you have a lot of flexibility in doing so.
There’s no question that the sea turtle ambassadors and other ocean life at LMC were huge hits with our guests. Tonya staffed our cocktail hour with LMC docents so we could have the exhibits open for our guests to stroll through. It’s also a venue that is kid-friendly, which was important to us since we had more than a dozen children in attendance. There is space for them to run, ramps and multiple levels to explore, and, of course, the chance to be up close to sea turtles of all sizes and get their questions answered by the docents.
LMC requires you to use only vendors from their approved list, and we found that the vendors we hired were all very competent, knew the LMC spaces, were reliable, and delivered high-quality results. Set-up and tear-down both went smoothly.
We had fantastic weather for the rehearsal on Friday as well as for the whole day on Saturday, and LMC’s spaces were all covered and shady enough while still letting the sunshine in. The views of the grounds and the ocean beyond were beautiful. There were so many different settings for photos too.
We would highly recommend Loggerhead Marinelife Center as a wedding venue for others also!

Loggerhead’s new facility and event center is gorgeous. Our guests really enjoyed the rooftop deck with an ocean view for cocktail hour. While I love their no single use plastic rule, it was more difficult to accommodate. There is almost always plenty of parking. If you are looking for a beach style wedding this is a good fit.

We hosted a Welcome to the Wedding Cocktail party at the LMC! This place was PERFECT in every way! The onsite coordinator was so helpful and made the planning process a snap! We love the thought that went into every detail of this venue and know this ecofriendly habit for Turtles and their Human Friends is a special place for sure! Perfect weather and this unique environment was the quintessential, tropical cozy spot we wanted it to be. The Full Moon and breeze were a bonus! Thanks again LMC!

Loggerhead was our dream venue with it having all of the jupiter local appeal. Tonya and her assistants were awesome to work with and were able to accommodate me whenever i had questions or needed to have any vendor walk through the space with me. Mike and I were so happy to getting married at such an incredible venue and all of our guests loved being able to look at all of the turtles being rehabilitated

The Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) was the perfect venue for our surprise wedding, and it is a perfect venue for anyone who loves the beach, the ocean, and the turtles who call LMC their home. LMC is located just steps away from Juno Beach where its primary purpose is the rehabilitation of turtles and ocean preservation. This fantastic center also has newly built event spaces which are perfect for different events, but it was particularly perfect for our surprise wedding.
Tonya Pellegrini and all of the staff at LMC worked so hard to make sure our day was perfectly executed so that our guests, who thought they were attending an engagement party, actually attended our wedding ceremony and reception. We used both the Sky Deck and the event room, which both comfortably held over 160 guests. We were able to enjoy Florida's December weather out on the Sky Deck for the cocktail hour/ceremony and then use the event space on the first floor for the reception and for more cocktails, food, and dancing. The Sky Deck has a beautiful view which overlooks Juno Beach and the ocean, and the first-floor event space was perfect for our food stations, DJ, dancefloor, and plenty of seating. The first-floor event space has sliding glass doors which also allow the space to open up to the outside and overlook the turtles and other sea life, which makes the already large space, even larger.
Tonya at LMC was extremely flexible and helpful in allowing us to do multiple site visits with our vendors and making herself available to help in any way. She and LMC worked with each of our vendors closely so that when the day came, everything was already taken care of and ready to go. I would highly recommend this venue as there are multiple sites on the LMC property that can host different events, and your guests really enjoy being at LMC as it really is a special place which is devoted to a special purpose.

I grew up in Jupiter, LHMC was a staple of my childhood. When I heard they had a new event space that would be opening around the months leading up to my wedding I jumped on the opportunity to have my reception there. I grew up loving and respecting the turtles and the ocean and this just felt right. Sadly they were unable to have turtles at the time of my wedding which was disappointing.
We had cocktail hour on their rooftop deck and the reception right downstairs.
Cocktail hour was beautiful! We hired a saxophonist which really set the mood, the breeze up there and the ocean view was spectacular. It’s completely under cover as well.
We were able to transform the event space where we had the reception into a beautiful room perfect for a party which was hard to imagine when we first went to see the space.
Be advised, this is an ala carte option. Luckily the cost of the venue counts as a donation to the turtles and that’s pretty awesome. We had to hire out every last detail. LHMC provides the event space and 60” round tables which they will not allow you to put 10 chairs at. This limits you to tables of 8 or less people unless you rent larger tables. We had 17 tables plus the sweet heart table and we only used 2/3 of the space. It was the perfect amount of space and the room set up was perfect for mingling and interacting with all of our guests.
You will need to hire a wedding planner!! DO NOT try to have a wedding here without one. You will want to have the room draped as it adds much needed dimension to the room which has fairly low ceilings. You will have to buy additional insurance for the event space. Mine cost around $150-175.
The event coordinator, my planner and my photographer worked great together and did everything they could to ensure that my husband and I had everything that we needed including photographs on the beach and around the tanks at golden hour when the sunset was just right.
LHMC has a team of people working together to try to make your wedding day seamless and as long as you have a great caterer, DJ, photographer and planner you will not be disappointed.
