My coworker recommended Lois to me after she did the floral design at his wedding a year before mine. I was immediately impressed by the floral arrangements in my coworker's wedding photos and Lois' website portfolio, so my fiancé and I reached out. A big benefit to using Lois is that she has so much décor! Her full-design package is competitively priced and includes everything... vases, hurricanes, sweetheart table décor, easel, candles, etc. And Lois provides all floral needs from boutonnieres to cocktail bar accents to full arches. This means you don't have to buy a ton of décor and get stuck with it after the wedding. My (now) husband and I had several ideas for flowers, but not a ton of direction. We really just trusted Lois' artistic license and she and her team delivered wonderfully! Lois really took our ideas and formed it into a comprehensive look. So many people commented after our wedding how beautiful the flowers were! Lois is positive, a great communicator, and very responsive. I wish I could throw another big event just to work with her again.

Bridal Shower at the San Diego Yacht Club-Frost Room 2022 Lois Mathews and her creative team are truly amazing! We envisioned a Parisian/French Market ambiance with beautiful wildflowers for our bridal shower theme and she went above and beyond our expectations. Lois flipped a nautical event room into a whimsical glamorous European trunk show!! So impressive and such an explosion of artistry and life.:) She included the use of the bride's French dressing table and chair from home and added special touches - incorporating an image of the bride and creating a flower crown for her that matched the arrangements. Guests were in awe with how beautiful the room looked and happily selected wildflowers at the end of the bridal shower to take home. What a memorable day for all of us! Kudos to Lois and her team!!

Lois takes all the extra time and energy to learn about the bride and understand her personality and style. She is personable, kind, fun, and ever so patient and generous during a bride's busy engagement / wedding planning season. I could not recommend her more. Growing up, I had seen her create such beautiful arrangements for family and friends and I knew I wanted Lois for my own wedding when the time came... she lived up to my dreams and then some. She's a class act every time! She adorned my wedding from head to toe with handpicked flowers. I also greatly appreciated her honesty and expertise opinion. Every bride is faced with a million decisions, and Lois offered a wonderful balance of making the bride feel free yet supported with expert direction (e.g., sharing what flora and fauna are best in the season). Lois was an absolute dream to work with! I got married in January, 2022 at La Jolla Woman's Club and had a vision for my wedding that she executed on perfectly. She incorporated the most lush greenery I could have asked for and made all of my flower dreams come true! My mom and I visited her flower workshop a couple of times and were able to pick out amazing pieces to display the flowers on from what she already had. She even had an easle to post a seating chart on! We were thouroughly impressed with her attention to detail and ability to make our flowers not only beautiful, but cost friendly as well. My now husband and I had a huge wedding party and she did an incredible job on all of the bouquets and boutonniere for our bridal party and closest family. She worked with us on what we could do to enhance the look of the wedding and provided amazing communication throughout the whole process. I highly recommend Lois Mathews for your wedding! She is INCREDIBLE and we absolutely loved working with her for my special day!

Lois was at the top of everyone's list when I asked for florist recommendations and for good reason. After a single meeting with me and the bride, she knew exactly what we wanted to capture with the wedding florals and put together something that went above and beyond what we expected. We wanted a wedding with succulents and lots of color to celebrate a union of our two cultures. From the amazing arrangement decorating the archways, hanging florals on the entry tables, to the colorful table centerpieces with colored glass and candles.. everything was perfect. Afterwards all of the guests were complimenting the amazing centerpieces. Lois drew from a wealth of experience and an incredible eye for details and design. Without her it would have been a very different event. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Lois did my flowers and decor for my wedding on April 24, 2022. The wedding was at Loews Coronado Bay Resort and we live in Iowa. So planning was done over phone and email and one single visit 5 months before the event. I told her my colors, what I liked and wanted vs. what I didn’t. I didn’t have any flowers in mind really.. and with Covid, availability is still up in the air. Lois and her team out did themselves. My entire event was gorgeous. The wedding arch was draped in lace and a peach material matching my dress. The flowers were ivory and blush and peach. I adored it. She made me a tear drop bouquet that was absolutely stunning. All the reception decorations were exactly what I wanted. She made the elements of my wedding and reception beautiful and I couldn’t be happier

Lois for truly makes your wedding floral dreams come true! She has such an artistic talent that is unmatched. Not only were WE blown away, but every single person at our wedding commented how beautiful and tasteful and perfect the floral arrangements were. My bridesmaids agreed that their bouquets were the most beautiful they have ever seen. She listened to what I wanted in terms of size/color/decor and made the entire room come to life. She also did a fantastic job sprucing up the arch at Tom Ham's Lighthouse - making the floral arrangements look like part of the arch, but keeping the beauty of it seen. Lastly, such a small detail but means so much - she handed me my bouquet as I was preparing to walk down the aisle and made sure I knew how to told it, gave me a little pep talk and even trimmed the stems a bit to make sure it was comfortable and I felt happy. She is amazing inside and out!

Lois is amazing. As the father of the groom, I wasn't much focused on the planning of the flowers and decorations, but when I walked into the room for the reception dinner, I was overwhelmed! Lois had transformed the room into a veritable secret garden, with beautiful flowers, candles and accessories creating a magical, floating faerie land! It was like something out of a Midsummer Night's Dream or Rivendell. The effect was both stunning and sublime, and the guests were enthralled. What a beautiful way to celebrate a wondrous day!

Lois was fantastic to work with from the beginning of the wedding planning through the very end of the wedding itself. She is kind, creative and passionate about her craft. She listened carefully to my daughters visions for her wedding and was patient when that vision changed several times before the actual wedding date. The wedding flowers from the arch, to the bouquets and the table arrangements turned out fantastic. It was all perfect! Everyone loved the flowers. She paid attention to all the details and was present from the setup to the take down at the end of the event. No detail was forgotten! She is the best!

Lois is simply outstanding! The flowers were my favorite part of the wedding. I still can't believe how amazing they turned out! I showed her pictures from Pinterest and to my amazement the flowers turned out even prettier than the Pinterest flowers! Every single detail was spot on! My Bridal bouquet was so soo gorgeous, the center pieces were huge and beautiful and omg the sweetheart table was sooo dreamy! She made my wedding look like it was straight out of a fairytale! I wish I could give her 10 stars, 5 just isn't enough! I highly recommend. If you chose Lois you will not be disappointed.

We loved working with Lois Mathews! She is professional, creative, imaginative and delivers on what she promises. She listened and then worked her magic to create my daughter’s dream wedding. Floral design is not just a vocation for Lois, she puts both her experience and her heart into what she does. She even included her personal antique candle sticks for the table decorations. Lois is an amazing florist, with an incredibly creative eye and spirit. When I met with her, my mom and I both knew she would do an incredible job, and she did!! She was proactive in all the planning and since I live in the Bay Area but got married in La Jolla, had many phone calls in which she updated me on what she was thinking. She was really the easiest partner I had, and did not treat my wedding casually. She's a pro, and MOST IMPORTANTLY she listens and is an INCREDIBLE floral designer. Coincidentally, she also gave me the best advice I got: "These people will never ALL be in the same room again. So enjoy yourself and be sure that you take it in and spend time with the people you love" HIRE HER. You won't regret it and your flowers will BE GORGEOUS.

Working with Lois on the vision of my wedding was an awesome process. I wasn't quite sure what went into planning the florals of a wedding but Lois guided me perfectly. We visited her at her home and looked at all the goodies she has to share with her brides, and she even allowed me to return a second time with my mom to take a look and discuss the wedding a little bit further. I sent Lois so many pictures of my vision and explained in detail how I wanted each and every thing, and she made it all come to life so beautifully. I got SO many compliments the whole night and days following on how gorgeous my flowers were and how beautifully they were all put together. Lois took my vision, ran with it, and made it more than I could have ever asked for! I highly recommend her to any brides who aren't sure where to go with their flowers, or any bride that has her exact vision planned out because boy can Lois execute your vision and then some.

Wow, I have absolutely no Words that I can possibly use to describe Lois’s creation. It was beyond beautiful!!! Beyond what I ever could have imagined or hoped for. She truly knows her flowers and I knew I could trust her and she went above and beyond. The best compliment we got was that the flowers were as fancy as a Kardashian’s wedding and they truly were! Lois was the sweetest lady, she listened to all of my needs and helped me create the wedding of my dreams! Thank you Lois, I recommend her a 100 out of a 10.

Short version: Lois was a dream to work with, her floral arrangements were stunning, and I highly recommend her! Longer version: I found Lois when I was phoning around in a panic trying to find another florist after my first one turned out to be unreliable. The previous florist couldn’t seem to understand the vision I had for my wedding even after months of back and forth; in contrast, Lois understood immediately during our first phone call. I said “bohemian” and Lois responded by describing a vision of eclectic antiques and loose, local garden themed floral arrangements. I sent her a swatch of my bridesmaid dresses and she specifically scoured local farmers markets—where she gets almost all her flowers—for the exact color, which she found. She also included succulents from her personal garden in my bridal bouquet. In addition, Lois works out of a beautiful rustic barn that full of every sort of vase and floral arranging option that you can think of, which she let me explore and choose specific pieces from for the table arrangements. I picked some pieces and trusted her to choose the rest and it worked out perfectly. Lois is very experienced, and everything came together well. Half the tables had low arrangements and half had tall arrangements, all done in a way that did not block guests across the tables while also creating movement and flow throughout the venue. The florals received many compliments from guests that evening. Thank you, Lois and team, for your hard work and beautiful floral arrangements!

I’ve put off writing this review because honestly I didn’t even have the words to do her justice. Lois is incredible. She is the sweetest, most genuine, loving and talented people I’ve met. Our wedding flowers were absolutely flawless. So many things went wrong on my wedding day, more than I imagined, the flowers were the only thing that were pure perfection. I’m still in awe when I look at our pictures. Lois truly brought our vision to life. Honestly she just went above and beyond. She did so much beautiful work and implemented her wonderful creativity. I couldn’t have imagined our flowers being this beautiful. People still talk about how beautiful our flowers were. I think they helped take away attention from all the things that went wrong because people were speechless how beautiful they were. Lois is not just talented, she’s just a genuinely beautiful human being. She knows flowers and you can give her the freedom to be creative, she will go above and beyond. I really wanted petals at the ceremony but we were already over budget so I decided against them. Lois decided to surprise me with them anyway the day of, unfortunately it was so windy they kept blowing away. Being the creative Lois, she incorporated them into my reception. I’m so grateful that I know Lois and that she was a part of my day. She will make your day beautiful and flawless. I still haven’t been to a wedding with flowers as beautiful as mine. Thank you for everything. I can’t wait to work with you again.

Lois did my flowers for my August 4th wedding at the La Jolla Woman's Club. I wanted a romantic garden feel with burgandy and blush florals and greenery and she nailed it. From the start she seemed to get exactly what i wanted. I sent her a pinterest board and met with her at her backyard barn to see all the vases she had. We selected some items and came up with a plan for the day. This was probably unnecessary as I'm sure it would have been perfect anyways. The day of she blew me away, everything was just as I wanted and it was so amazing to see my vision come to life. She did the bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, ceremony florals, flower girl crown, cake table, sweetheart table, and other tables and everything was just gorgeous. I wouldn't change a thing. She even went above and beyond and added more details that I wasn't expecting. Lanterns and large flower displays at the end of the aisle for the ceremony. She was there setting up making everything look perfect beforehand and came to collect all the vases at the end of the night - a true professional and so sweet!

Lois did my wedding on August 11 in Coronado. As soon as I met Lois I felt like we had an instant connection. She was able to make my wedding vision come to life! Of all the vendors that I hired for my wedding, Lois was the only one that I knew I didn’t have to worry about. She loves what does and will do anything to make sure you get everything that you want. Please don’t be intimidated by her age…. remember with age comes experience and weddings never go perfectly as planned. You want a florist who is capable of adapting to situations in case plans change on the day of your wedding and Lois is an expert at this!

Oh my, where to begin with Lois and her amazing talents :) Lois was by far the best vendor we booked for our outdoor courtyard wedding this past summer. Originally when we met Lois we were a bit scattered in terms of our vision and thoughts for the wedding - she was able to streamline every random thought I had and put together the most amazingly magical event space and flowers!! Lois has such a great eye, during the walk through of our event space (which she had never worked in before) she was able to take everything we said and offer amazing ideas to enhance! My flowers were PERFECT and so gorgeous!!!!! Lois is so sweet and kind and her talent with event planning and flowers is second to none. I highly recommend Lois for any event needing flowers - she was stellar!!

Wow... where do I begin? Lois Mathews is simply amazing. She is extremely detail oriented, like me, so I knew my floral vision was in good hands. I showed her pictures of floral arrangements that I liked, and she took my vision to the next level. She made my wedding look like something out of a fairytale. My wedding was Latin inspired with lots of bright colors - fuchsia, coral, and red, with pops of purple. Her masterpiece floral arch and centerpieces were truly one of the most memorable parts of the day. The bouquets and boutonnieres flowed perfectly with the other arrangements and were consistent with the theme of the wedding - everything tied together perfectly. She made excellent use of the flowers from the flower arch by transferring them to the head table. Best of all, all of my flowers were in impeccable condition and looked great all day long! Everyone raved about how beautiful my flowers were. My wedding flowers looked better than I could've hoped for. I highly recommend Lois for your wedding flowers - you will not be disappointed. She is exceptionally creative, professional, and responsive. Thank you so much, Lois!!!!

If she is available, hire her. Lois and her team are amazing. When we first met Lois we didn’t have even a slightly solid idea of what we wanted for our arrangements, flowers or overall look. We were doing a destination wedding and flew out for a few days with only a couple hours available to meet with her. She looked us both up and down like Ollivander at Ollivander’s wand shop (sorry, I am a bit of a nerd) and immediately started pulling awesome ideas out of the walls of her barn. I thought that room had a lot of things in it when we walked in but she was making even more options magically appear on her table. By the time we left we knew what she was designing was going to be beautiful and to both of our taste. What we didn’t know was that she was going to blow us away with her amazing work. I had ordered a sample of what an arrangement might look like for when we got to the hotel as a surprise to my then fiancé. It. Was. Amazing! It was as perfect at both our ceremony and the centerpieces at the reception. She took tropical beauty to a whole new level while still incorporating special requests for lavender and the then out of season iris flowers that were important to my mother in law. Anyhow, thank you Lois and please express our deepest thanks to your entire team for their hard work.

When I met Lois at her studio I knew right away that she was the florist I wanted for my daughter's wedding. She listened carefully to what I was saying, had unique ideas to offer and she put me completely at ease. The wedding was at Stone Brewery, Liberty Station and she had done weddings there before. My daughter lives out of state and I had plenty of things to fret over, but flowers was not one of them. I knew that Lois was going to put together a stunning presentation. I had met with other florists and I felt that her price was very fair, but what she offered was above and beyond what I had seen from others. When the wedding day arrived my daughter and I were just thrilled. Everything was so beautiful! The arrangements, the bouquets, the flower girl basket, and everything else was just so gorgeous. It was obvious that she knew just want I had wished for. Our guests commented over and over about how beautiful everything was. Lois is definitely a very talented artist. Her work helped to transform the wedding into a dream come true for my family.

We had such a great experience with Lois as our florist. She took our vision and made it better than we ever could have imagined. She was able to blend my and my husband's visions perfectly, and she had such original ideas to share. You cannot go wrong with Lois!

I was married 11/5 and I couldn't wait one more second to post this review. From the very beginning Lois was warm and inviting when welcoming us to her studio. My sister and I immediately felt like we were spending time with an aunt. Through the whole process she was so generous with her time and welcome to the many photos I sent her. When I had any adjustments in mind (and mine were at the last minute SORRY LOIS!) she had no issues at all. When I arrived at my venue and was OVERWHELMED by how amazing everything looked. She captured my vision and desires MORE THAN PERFECTLY! It's like she got inside my head and found every little girl fantasy and every Pinterest inspo I saved and made them BETTER. She even, without me telling her, picked out my EXACT favorite rose (David Austin Juliet) and made everything better than I expected or could have dreamed of. Don't hesitate to call her, she is MORE than worth it. Everyone said I looked like royalty and that the wedding made everyone feel like they were in a dream. Thank you Lois from the bottom of my heart.

A true artist. Lois was incredible to,work with. Great ideas, great listener and always made sure the ideas were what we wanted. We chose Lois Mathews after speaking with a few florists. As a same sex couple we still found lots of vendors who were uncomfortable with working with same sex couples. Lois was not only warm, supportive but embraced our relationship and marriage. Our ceremony and reception were beyond our,expectations. Lois is a great person to work with ad would recommend her to anyone.

Lois deserves 100 stars! She truly went above and beyond for me and my husband on our wedding day. As soon as I met Lois, I felt as though she was the florist for me. She immediately understood my vision and overall wedding vibe and made all my dreams into and even better reality. When I shared wiht Lois my idea for using antiques in the wedding decor, she suggested we go antique shopping for the perfect pieces. She even went so far as to incorporate some of her own personal keepsakes into the tablescapes! My wedding day was truly a dream come true thanks to Lois. Lois is simply a floral wizard! My daughter's wedding was made magical by the most beautiful floral arrangements I've ever seen. I can't tell you how many of our guests complimented the flowers. When the bridesmaids first saw their bouquets, they collectively gushed. My daughter was married at the Loews Coronado Resort on 9-9-17, and the venue was spectacular already, but when Lois performed her wizardry with the flowers/starfish arrangements adorning the wedding arbor, it took my breath away! The roses were a most gorgeous shade of dusty pink, and they matched the bride's theme colors perfectly. What a wonderful woman to work with as well! Thank you Lois for helping to make my daughter's wedding the spectacular event that it was!

Lois did a fabulous job with the flowers for my daughter's wedding last weekend. She captured the look that my daughter was envisioning beautifully. The initial consultation and design process was both fun and easy. Lois has a huge selection of containers to select from and great suggestions as to their use. She also made the whole wedding day easy and seamless on our end. No worry about whether the flowers would arrive on time or get moved to the appropriate places; it all happened just as planned. The flowers were used to their optimum, being moved from the church to the reception. She even incorporated a dozen lanterns that we supplied . We would highly recommend Lois. I was one of those brides-to-be that thought she didn't need flowers at her wedding. It wasn't until I met Lois Mathews and saw what beautiful creations she could make with pretty much any plant that made me realize flowers were a must. I felt instantly comfortable around her, which was such a relief considering I knew very little about flowers and decorating logistics. She welcomed me into her workspace, a quaint homemade barn filled with flowers, all sorts of plants, vases, candelabras, etc. at her home in Mission Hills, and showed me what she was currently working on for another event. I was blown away by her creativity. She was a great listener, and really wanted to make my personal vision of my dream wedding come true. And let me tell you, she did that and more. Everything from the boutonnières, to my bouquet (oh! the BOUQUET!), to the pew decorations, to the stunning dinner table decorations, and more, I was in tears at the beautiful spaces she created for my big day. I can't recommend her enough. She made what could've been a very stressful portion of the wedding planning process a total breeze. We got married on May 27th at Loews Coronado Bay Resort. The flowers and decor that Lois provided were absolutely amazing and completed the look of our wedding. We actually met Lois while visiting Loews for a tour, as she was setting up for another wedding. She took the time to chat with us and even gave me a rose to take home. When my mom and I went to meet her at her home, we knew immediately. Lois's experience, expertise, and love for what she does makes for the best experience possible. Every time I spoke with Lois she was so friendly and kind. Basically, our wedding was completed by the incredible floral design and decor. We received SO many compliments from friends, family, and even other guests at the hotel who snuck a peak. Lois will make your dreams come true!

I adored Lois’s creations for my wedding in April. It was amazing to see my vision come to life, but so much more beautiful than I could have imagined it. I didn’t have a lot of specific requests, more of a general ambiance I wanted to create, and Lois did that perfectly. She was able to weave together a few different ideas I had pulled from other sources into a lush, colorful, coherent whole. Now that I have my photographer’s proofs, I am able to go back through and really appreciate all of the details that I had missed on the day of. A very close friend of mine referred me to Lois, so I knew I was in good hands, but she exceeded my expectations! She is so easy to work with, and has such a stockpile of vases and other interesting objects to incorporate to customize the arrangements to suit the tone. I would love to find another occasion to use her services!

Lois wants to make you happy. She's creative, spunky, thoughtful and attentive. I'm so happy I chose her. The flowers were better than I had imagined.

Any bride will feel so blessed and fortunate to have Lois Mathews as her wedding florist! From the moment we met at her adorable barn, I just knew she was the one! If the Little Mermaid could have a grotto on land with all of her beautiful treasures, Lois' barn would be just the place. As I was describing my vision for the wedding she would dive into a box in the corner, or on the shelf on the other side of the room, or underneath the desk and pull out a piece that was just perfect! It's like she was reading my mind, but 2 steps ahead of me. She brought my vision to life in her little barn and I felt at ease. I knew that I could trust her without a shadow of doubt. We connected. She just got me. Nothing about her pieces are cookie cutter. I knew she'd make the wedding uniquely beautiful, and she suggested flowers that would tie ever so perfectly! Unfortunately, we decided to call off our wedding. Lois reached out to me to comfort me and give me the best advice ever. Lois is more than a florist, she's like that favorite aunt who always has your best interest at heart, and will always encourage you with the right words. Her character is like no other. I know when I find the right one, Lois will be my florist without a shadow of doubt. All of my other vendors know Lois' work and her reputation around San Diego is outstanding. She will make a bride's wedding absolutely stunning! I can't wait to call her again one day for my future wedding. I can't wait to call her again and just do coffee. Haha Lois is a true treasure. A rare find in a wedding industry that often has a predatory attitude. Lois truly cares about her brides and her couples and feels passionate about making their day one to remember for the rest of their lives!

Lois Mathews was absolutely amazing with flowers, design, creativity , and pricing! Even though we have not seen her since the wedding, I feel as if she will always remain a special place in our family! If and when my younger daughter gets married, I will easily put it in Lois's hands! The saying is "simply the best!" Xo

Lois is absolutely amazing at what she does! She is a true artist and one of a kind! Being the typical groom, I didn't see the major need for floral since we were getting married in a garden, but Lois transformed the property into a magical place. Everything from the boutonnieres, to the center pieces were exceptionally done! We had so many compliments throughout the day on the floral, which made our day very special. I don't always recommend people, but Lois Mathews is the best in the business and I would highly recommend using her for any event...she is the best!!

Lois did the most amazing work for our wedding. When I met her I asked her if she could work within a certain budget and she had no problem with it. I give her sample photos of the theme I wanted and asked her to "run with it" and gave complete trust to her. Well it paid off. The flowers were BEAUTIFUL and it was exactly what I envisioned. Everyone complimented me on the flowers.... EVERYONE. They were stunning!!!! Lois was prompt with communication, so kind and just wonderful to work with. I wish I could work with her again. She made the most important day of my life even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Lois, if you are reading this, I'd like to say THANK YOU again. You were a pleasure to work with and I wish we could relive that day again and again.

Lois is the best florist you can go with! :) My husband and I told her the vision we wanted, and seeing it come to life, was truly breathtaking! We stopped on many occasions during our wedding to appreciate how beautiful she made our venue look. It was everything and more that we wished for on our special day! We would rate her more than 5 stars if we could! She truly has a gift and a true talent! Very thankful she was apart of our day as well- she is the sweetest ! (best of both worlds) :)

I've been going to write this review for a long time but hesitated because I was afraid I couldn't do justice to Lois' work. I finally decided it was only fair to let the world know how great she is. Lois is creative beyond words and is as nice as she is creative. She listens to every thing you say and then begins to work her magic. She turns your ideas into something so spectacular you will be astounded! The reactions from guests at my sons weddings ranged from: unbelievable; to WOW; to stunning; to where in the world did you f ind your designer. It was so much fun to see peoples reaction when they walked into the room. Lois helped make our sons weddings extra special and she was just wonderful to work with. I wish I had more weddings to plan so I could work with her again! There is not a better choice you could make for any special event you may be planning. Trust me!

This is a second review, Lois recently did all florals for my daughters wedding at the Immaculata and reception at Coasterra. Once again she exceeded all my expectations! She continues to be a joy to work with! Thank you Lois for creating warmth and love with your flowers! Lois Matthews has an incredible talent in floral design. She has knowledge and impeccable taste when it comes to coordinating color and choosing flowers. She was very meticulous in listening to all our details and concerns. The set up from the church to reception was completely professional. Her candelabra centerpieces were stunningly enchanting. The head table was crowned with a beautiful trellis of hanging glass votives and delicate greenery. Lois has a diversified collection of antique silver and glass pieces to add that extra touch of elegance and warmth to each table. The wrist corsage she made for me was perfectly exquisite. My Godson's wedding reception was at the U.S. Grant, it was absolutely gorgeous. Lois and her team were lovely to work with. Lois is a true artist, she clearly loves her work. We were delighted to have found her.

Lois is simply wonderful! I’m so incredibly thankful I was referred to her and that I had her as my florist for my wedding! I was nervous about my budget and how much I was going to have to spend on flowers, but thankfully Lois was able to provide me with everything I was looking for and more in my price range. We met a couple times where we went over what I wanted and what ideas she had. Lois is very warm and friendly and understood my vision right away. She is very professional and is an extremely knowledgeable florist. My Mom was very impressed after we met with Lois and everyone commented on how beautiful everything was at the wedding. She is a true artist and her ideas are absolutely beautiful! She already had all the vases, centerpieces, and pillars that we needed, so it was so great that she was able to take care of literally everything that had to do with the flowers. The bouquets and boutonniere looked perfect and all the colors in the flowers went beautifully with the bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen tuxes. When I saw the ceremony site and reception ballroom, I was in awe of how stunning everything looked! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend Lois, you cannot go wrong!

Lois is a flower artist! She was my florist for my wedding at the prado in February and I was very happy with her work. When I first got her quote, I didn't think I could afford it, but after I got more quotes from other florists I realized her price was reasonable for what she offered. My wedding just happened to fall the day before Valentine's Day. That weekend happens to be the second most busy (and expensive!) for florists of the year. My wedding in San Diego was a destination wedding... I live in NYC, so I couldn't possibly be bothered to bring a bunch of decor items like I would've liked to to personalize it. Lois did all that. When I met with her in her barn I told her we were going with A bit of a peacock theme, and she just rolled with it. She has a vast selection of antique type containers in her barn for the flowers, so naturally we used a couple of birdcages for my theme. Each of the centerpieces for the tables at my reception were unique with different containers and everything came together and turned out amazingly beautiful. The attention to detail that she has is what makes a difference. Highly recommend.
