timezone 3 hours later than them, characterizing me as a high maintenance bride because I was confused and had question about policies they were emailing me about that weren't articulate, multiple times showing not only inflexibility but threatening multiple times to just pull out of the project after booking, and were a source of drama I did not need. My wedding was May 20 2023. I booked in June or July of 2022. There were no red flags until February. The remainder of my 3 months, I had a pit in my stomach with dread speaking with management when I did have to ask questions or I did have to troubleshoot things. I was scared about meeting my actual stylist because I worried that the unpleasantness of the management with would trickle down into my stylist, but my stylist, Carolina, was lovely. She was sweet, she was professional, and she did a good job, and some people may feel that at the end of the day, that's all that matters, but I can't say that her work outweighed the poor experience I had with the salon. I hope she is able to move to a different salon because she is so much better than this salon.

ne a hair trial at my local fancy salon first (showing the same inspiration picture to both), but Jesslyn’s work was so much more skilled and beautiful. I got many comments on how much people liked my hair. She talked me into trying false lashes (I am usually a no-mascara minimalist), which was a great suggestion! Maggie in the salon helped coordinate the schedule and payment for my and several family members’ services and she made everything seamless, even as we did a mix of some on-site services and some in-salon services.

imeline down for the day of, knowing it was going to be tight logistically due to traveling around town and also weather concerns. The stylist (Liz) also so sweet. She worked with me on my trial to get my hair exactly the way I envisioned. The day of my hair looked absolutely perfect! My hair was a high up-do for an outdoor (mountain) wedding ceremony and hike. My hair lasted all day and night and was pretty enough to last for day after.
I had never had my hair professionally done before and this was such a positive experience. It was also a relief to know I was working with such professional but caring people while coming from out of state.

Lola Salon in downtown Asheville to do my hair. I am so glad I used Rebecca, she was wonderful. Rebecca did my hair on Friday at her Salon for the rehearsal dinner and on Saturday she came to my hotel room to do my hair for the ceremony and reception. My hair is difficult to work with and she did an outstanding job. She really knows hair; she used the right shampoo and conditioner and it made my hair look beautiful and shiny. All of the guests commented how beautiful my hair looked both days.

ready. This was so great because we didn't need to wake up super early to start and we were done in plenty of time to relax and have mimosas before we needed to leave.
Jesslyn did my hair and absolutely nailed it. I had a trial with her several weeks before and knowing that my hair is hard to work with, I was a little nervous of how it would turn out and last through the day. She took the comments I had after the trial and implemented them perfectly. I've never really loved how my hair has turned out when styled before so I splurged (at least it was a splurge for me) on one of the best salons in town and it was completely worth it!

uple pictures and she nailed it. She was so professional, so caring and such a kind spirit! I wish I lived in Asheville, because I'd make her my year-round hairdresser! Liz deserves an award - not just for how well she did on my hair, but also for keeping me calm on the wedding day. She was truly a blessing. Sara Kate did my makeup the day of my wedding and was also fabulous. I had a different makeup artist do it for my trial run-through, and I asked for some tweaks, and the salon was extremely accommodating. They asked specific questions and for some new pictures. Then, the day of the wedding, Sara Kate asked even more questions and would stop and let me take a look as she went along, always willing to add or change something. In the end, when I looked in the mirror, I saw a bride! She's a doll and totally a professional. My makeup for the wedding day was perfect. They are a wonderful team, and the shop itself is darling. 100% recommend them to any bride!

around 9 AM and worked with me and 5 bridesmaids plus one mother-in-law until 3 PM. They were on time and easy to work with. They were all so nice and friendly! Rebecca did an awesome job with my hair. It was absolutely perfect and matched the picture I showed her of what I wanted almost exactly. Stacey's makeup was great too -- very natural but extenuated our features and lasted from 3 PM until 11 PM. The only feedback I have for them is the makeup price changed to per head instead of prorated when adding an additional woman due to not all 7 women fitting in 6 hours. For instance, if I had 6 women to get makeup done in 6 hours it would've been prorated -- so instead of a flat rate, if the woman only used a half hour, it would've been half the flat rate. I did not find out about this price change until a month before the wedding when 7 of us decided to get our makeup done in 6 hours. It wasn't a huge deal to me but it does cost my bridesmaids more and would've been nice to know ahead of time! Overall, I would definitely recommend Lola Salon. It was very enjoyable and fun!

ort hair and typically can't get it to hold a curl, even after plastering it with hair spray. Daisy was able to get real texture into my hair and it lasted all night (my hair and make-up were finished at 2 and the reception went to 11:30). My make-up was subtle and not too over top, but beautiful and just a little more made-up than I typically am, which was perfect. My mom looked amazing too. She loved her partial up-do and her make-up. Daisy did such an amazing job!
