London and Lace is really the only place to get your dress! I loved every minute of getting my dress! They made everything so easy for me! Thank you!
This bridal boutique was the best experience in my wedding planning. It really made me so excited for my wedding. As soon as I walked in I was impressed with how beautiful the place was, it smelled good, and it was totally private for me and my bridesmaid to find the dress. I tried on a combination of dresses that Lisa and Lauren picked out as well as my bridesmaid and between the 3 of them they nailed it! They were so much fun to hang out with and made wedding dress shopping so memorable. 100% recommend London and Lace to any bride in the area.
I love this boutique dress shop. I wanted a dress that was me and Lisa helped me find just that. Lisa welcomed me in to show my dress to my mom and friend who weren't a part of helping me pick my dress even though we didn't have an appointment. The only negative I have is the cost of alterations. In picking a dress that was so perfect for me, I didn't know up front that any alterations would be as expensive as they were so I had not planned for that. But I wouldn't have selected a different dress so in the end it didn't matter. Would recommend London and Lace to anyone looking for a dress not off the rack at any old bridal shop.
Wonderful shop!! The day I walked in we had a budget set but were told the dresses in the shop were over budget.. as stubborn as I am I stayed. And I am so glad I did. I found the dress of my dreams. Before trying on Lisa did a great job picking out a variety of dresses that would fit my style. She asked me a lot of questions about our wedding the venue to ensure the dress would be perfect. After trying on a handful of dresses I found the one.. and a belt to go with it!! Lisa knew exactly how to make the dress pop. I specifically worked with Lisa and Jensen and they were so great and nice to me and my mom. I highly recommend going here for an American Made :)
great people. I made an appointment, she asked me what my budget was, I told her 1200 max and she informed me that most of their dresses start at 2000. I said oh well and went in anyway. I, unfortunately, discovered the dress of my dreams but forgot about the cost. it was 2700 but it was absolutely stunning.
I ended up not buying it, but the staff fully understood and they frequently called me whenever they were having sales. They are great people
I walked into London and Lace on the off chance, as my mum was in town and we wanted to have a quick browse. Little did I know that as soon as I walked in, I would be swept away by the first dress I saw - a beautiful Alvina Valenta lace number with micro sparkles under the tulle skirt - simply exquisite! Lisa was amazing and worked with me to ensure it fitted correctly. Her shop is simply beautiful and holds so many stunning and unique dresses. A real treasure trove! Lisa also created a wonderful, intimate experience for me and my family when we returned for the first dress fitting - complete with a few celebratory bubbles! I simply can't recommend London and Lace - and Lisa - enough. They were wonderful!
I bought my dress at London and Lace and it was absolutely stunnning! They were very accommodating to make they changes I wanted to make and I got a dress that is truly one of a kind and exactly what I wanted. Lisa and her staff are all very sweet and really focus on you and what you want throughout the process. I love the fact that they work by appointment and that when you try on the dresses, it's only about you. I couldn't have been happier with my experience and my dress!
London and Lace was my first stop when shopping for my dress. Two of my bridesmaids and I noticed the gorgeous dresses in the windows just passing by one day. After scanning the website and reading about their values, I knew I had to start there.
I did not anticipate how nervous I was going to be when I walked in! I had my mom and two bridesmaids with me. Lisa was so welcoming and asked me to describe my vision for The Big Day. She asked if I had anything in mind and we picked maybe 5 dresses to start. Her husband happened to be in the store that day and suggested a Leanne Marshall gown. After turning it down at first, I decided to give it a shot. It was maybe the fifth or sixth dress I tried on and as soon as I was in it, I knew it was the one. It was purchased and ordered before we left the store!
But that's not where my relationship with London and Lace ended! Lisa sent me to the best local tailor, kept my dress at the store in between portraits and the wedding, and steamed it and helped me pack it before I left! She is so knowledgable and one of the most beautiful people I've had the pleasure of meeting in Columbia.
Whether you're local or not, if you're shopping for a wedding gown, London and Lace will be worth the trip!
I cannot say enough great things about London and Lace, Lisa and her husband. I'm originally from Columbia and moved to Atlanta after college, finding myself back in Columbia needing a cover for a surprise party shortly after I got engaged. My mother frequents Devine Street and suggested checking out London and Lace (which was the perfect cover for coming into town.) Being from Columbia, and moving away while it blossomed into what it is now, I never thought I'd find my wedding dress there. I could not have been more wrong.
London and Lace has so many breath-taking dresses, it's hard to believe. The shopping experience was very personal since they only take one appointment at a time, it felt comfortable taking my take and not having people eye-down the dress you have on. It is the only place I tried on dresses and I bought my dress the same day. They carry so many lines that you can't find at the "big box" stores, or even a lot of boutiques. I found my designer, who is only carried at a handful of stores in the US, in beautiful Columbia, SC. thanks to London and Lace!
