f the best meals we’ve ever had. We worked with Steve Sleczka from London House, and he made the entire planning process seamless and stress-free. I can’t recommend both Steve and the London House team enough. For our reception, we partnered with Posh Productions, and the result was nothing short of magical. Dave Florczak and his team brought our vision to life—the ceiling design was absolutely breathtaking. If you’re planning a wedding in Chicago, do yourself a favor and call Steve—you’ll be in the best hands!

ut, the location, everything just seemed perfect. (and it was!) We even had a few obstacles to maneuver through which unfortunately made us have to change our wedding date, and Steve helped us navigate those obstacles with very little to no friction whatsoever. when guests did not book their rooms on the block in time, no problem, Steve was there to help add them after the cut off date. Fast forward to the day of the event, and it was breathtaking! The food... I've had countless texts claiming this was the best food at a wedding our guests ever had. The presidential suite that my wife and I got to enjoy for two nights made us feel like absolute royalty. (I may never look at a regular hotel room the same ever again lol) All in all, there are MANY choices to host your special day, but if you want the upper echelon of special, please do yourself a favor and book at The London house. The only downside is you only get one because boy would I love to do it all over again there! :)

All of our questions were answered, and their assurance that all would be well on our daughter's wedding day, gave us complete confidence in booking this hotel for our daughter's event. Prior to the wedding date, a "tasting" was held at the hotel, and hosted by the Director Of Weddings, Steve Sleczka. We had a chance to sample all of the dinner and wine options that were available, and make our final selections. Steve was efficient, knowledgeable, and coordinated the entire event with grace, style, humor and patience. He was so organized, and covered the timeline for the entire day, which was exceedingly comforting and informative. Steve is a true professional and his experience and expertise in delivering the utmost in Customer Service is amazing! On our daughter's wedding weekend, the check in was seamless, and our room was AMAZING!! The view of Michigan Avenue was beautiful, and the room was spacious, updated and very comfortable. On the actual wedding day, Steve and his crew did not disappoint. Every single detail was managed, and Steve personally attended to making sure everything was in order from morning until night!! All of the employees at the London House are friendly, helpful, accommodating and dedicated to insuring that your stay and event run as smooth as possible. The food was plated beautifully, and so many of our guests commented on the generous portions, and that it was the most delicious food they had been served at a wedding! The large venue room is stunning, and having the view of the beautiful city in the background is so impressive. Our guests were also very pleased and impressed with the rooms in the London House, and the convenience of the hotel's proximity to various city locations. Simply said, if you are looking for a classy, elegant, beautiful, gorgeous, sophisticated experience in Downtown Chicago, you cannot go wrong in choosing the London House for your wedding. You will be pleasantly surprised and treated like Royalty from beginning to end!!

The reception you receive upon arrival was warm and welcoming and while a small hotel, it is grand in everything in everything they do. The whole weekend ran like a brand-new clock. We could not recommend LondonHouse more. One of the things we loved most about this venue was the incredible attention to detail and the invaluable years of experience that the LondonHouse team brings to the table. Steve made us feel so at ease that no matter what happened (for example, it stormed on the day of our wedding and we had to quickly shift photography locations on the property), everything would work out perfectly, and it did. He was always planning ten steps ahead. We also LOVED the food at LondonHouse, and our guests continue to rave about it. There are so many great options, from the hors d'oeuvres to the sweets, and the team did such a good job making accommodations for dietary restrictions and allergies. They also partner with a local bakery for the wedding cake, so that's also one less thing to plan yourselves. I cannot emphasize enough how beautiful this place is and how lucky we felt to have a venue that truly cared about making our wedding as beautiful and stress-free as it was. Steve (Director of Weddings) was AMAZING to work with - he's incredibly sharp, detail-oriented and organized. His background is in wedding planning and he always had the best recommendation and tips tailored to the venue. Now for the feedback from our guests - so many of our guests told us that the food served was the BEST wedding food they've ever had! The out of town guests were also very impressed with the hotel room/amenities and location. If you're thinking about having your wedding at LH, don't think twice. I can't imagine a better venue in downtown Chicago. BONUS: I have severe food allergies and was very anxious about safely eating on my wedding day. Steve and the staff were incredibly accommodating and respectful of my allergies (and those of wedding guests) and the night went off without a hitch. I can't put a price on the peace of mind I had knowing LH was taking special care of my food allergies on my big night. Big thank you to Steve and the team for making our dream weekend come true!

uliette Grand Ballroom. It was beautiful. The wall of windows overlooking the river was absolutely breathtaking. The food at the venue was excellent as well! We are still receiving compliments on all the food served from the hors d’oeuvres to the main entrée. All of the staff at the LondonHouse were phenomenal to work with and all extremely kind individuals. Steve the venue coordinator was incredible to work with as well. He is very kind and patient and has a great sense of humor. He is very organized and flexible. He will help coordinate everything within the LondonHouse. He has a very thorough timeline for all the events leading up to the wedding and the whole day of the wedding. He also prepared a list of outside venues we may need as well suggestions for those they have worked with in the past. If we had any questions, we emailed them to him and he was very quick to respond and always professional. He was very familiar with everything that goes in to hosting a wedding. He coordinated our whole day with our day of coordinator and we didn’t have to worry about anything. We were actually able to enjoy our day. Steve was priceless and a big reason we chose this venue.

We highlight recommend London House for smaller weddings, we had 50 guests and they have an event room to accommodate with a private terrace and city views. Our guests were really wowed by the service during their stay at the hotel, the amazing event and the incredible food! It really was the best day ever - thank you to Steve, Justin and the LH team!

The entire process was low-stress and the result was beyond anything I could have imagined. The views of the river are spectacular, the ballroom and cocktail area are beautiful, and it’s located in such a great spot for pictures. We did our first look up in the cupola on the rooftop, and then walked around Michigan Ave, the Wrigley Building, and the river for photos with our wedding party. The entire day was beyond perfect.

for years & his experience shows - he was so knowledgeable throughout the entire process & it showed when the time came to execute. Several guests came up to us to mention this was the best banquet style food they’ve ever had at a wedding, everything was executed to perfection & everything came out hot & prepared to everyone’s expectations. There was nothing but rave reviews about the mushroom soup, the Seabass & the Filet. Not only that, but the rooms were amazing & we are so thankful for how we were treated as guests at London House. The penthouse suite was beautiful and we really enjoyed our night & the following day there. Our wedding planner said this was one of the most professional teams they’ve ever worked with & the teamwork that was displayed during the room flip was nothing short of incredible. So again, thank you so much for everything throughout the process. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone considering hosting a wedding in Chicago!

Finally, the venue itself was perfect because everything is on one private floor with fantastic views of the city from every window. As an added bonus, the tower on top of the building made for stunning wedding photos! We also had a brunch in E'toile at LondonHouse the morning after the wedding. Once again, the food was exceptional! Please do not sleep on this venue when choosing yours - it's phenomenal!

e staff was very professional and the reception could not have gone more smooth operationally thanks to Steve's many years of experience. However, one of the biggest compliments we have received from guests is the food. There are many wedding caterers that can provide somewhat bland food based on past weddings I have attended. I would eat the reception food at LondonHouse over a majority of restaurants in Chicago. It is fantastic and every hors d'oeuvres or reception course was a hit with our guests. This was not something we could really test out initially when first reviewing reception vendors but we were even more happy with our decision after our food tasting. Lastly, the LondonHouse location along the riverwalk (and near numerous major attractions) is excellent especially during summer. We had many out of town guests visiting for the first time and we received several compliments on how impressed they were just with Chicago in general. Pretty much every guest staying at LondonHouse visited the rooftop bar at some point to take in the downtown views along the river.

He was so prompt with any question and concern that she had through the whole process and you wonder - can he really deliver on all he promised? The answer is yes and so much more! Not only was the venue in itself spectacular but having the experience of the whole third floor including the cocktail space and grand ballroom was perfect We never felt cramped or stuck in one place and had lots of room to move around. Having access to the rooftop was perfect for the younger crowd too. The food was 5 star quality. The chefs were amazing along with the waitstaff and bartenders. Steve sets such a high bar and you can tell his signature is on everything and he stands by his promises. We had a special request which he fulfilled beyond our expectations, and even his recommendations for vendors were top notch. Steve's the real deal and he will work with you to make your wedding special. We couldn't be happier with the wedding he designed for our daughter and can't recommend him enough.

Everyone was just so friendly. We had so many compliments at the wedding about service, food and atmosphere. Once those shears opened, you saw the river and the city. What an awesome view. If you want your special day to be the most memorable event you've ever been to, then book the London House. So if you want a high class top notch wedding experience, the London House is the place to go. And don't forget to ask for the best coordinator around, Steve!!

right choice for us. Steve was absolutely amazing and irreplaceable! He was so much fun, good at diffusing tension or anxiety, and so well organized. He thought of everything that never even crossed our minds. Our wedding would not have been possible without his help. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous and we were lucky enough for the rooftop to be open during our wedding. Since most of our guests were from out of town we were so happy with the location and the bar as out of town guests felt like they got a bona fide Chicago experience while visiting for our wedding. Everyone on site was unbelievably kind and helpful. The food at the wedding was EXTRAORDINARY, the chef was is so incredibly talented and we got so many compliments on the food! Bar staff and servers the night of the reception were so unbelievably wonderful and professional. The view from the Juliette ballroom is exquisite especially at night and the surrounding area is perfect for city shots with the photographers. The cupola was astounding and so unique and gorgeous and the photos there are show stopping. Overall we would not change a thing about the wedding and are so thankful for Steve and everyone at Londonhouse for making the weekend absolutely perfect!

Upon meeting Steve, his decades of experience in the wedding industry were apparent, and he was paramount to pulling off an amazing wedding. He was responsive throughout the 12 months between booking Londonhouse and our wedding date, was organized throughout the process, and was proactive in reaching out to both my wife and I to keep us up to date and keep the stress levels low. The organization of the day of our wedding was beyond imaginable. The bridal suite was perfect for my wife and the bridal party, and my groomsman and I were extremely well taken care of. Our guests continued to comment on how beautiful the hotel rooms, rooftop bar, and the hotel was. Our guests were treated spectacularly, as were my wife and I. We continued to comment on how absolutely nothing went wrong on our wedding day, from the photographer, transportation from the hotel to our church and back, the cocktail hour, the dinner and the reception. Steve and his team had our day planned down to the minute, and my wife and I could not ask anything more of Londonhouse. The staff working their wedding services are worth their weight in gold, and you would be hard pressed to find a hotel that is better suited to host a wedding.

The food could not have been better and all the staff, from the chef to the servers, bartenders and housekeeping could not have been more accommodating. The view of the Chicago River and the city's skyline is stunningly framed in the ballroom's floor to ceiling windows, giving our wedding the true Chicago glitz and one of a kind view. The staff at the LondonHouse went above and beyond the call of duty on so many occasions throughout the planning process. Steve took so much stress out of planning a wedding during pandemic, and was patient and accommodating with all of our questions and concerns, putting us at ease every step of the way. He was incredible full stop. Emails and phone calls were always answered in under 24 hours, and his attention to detail eliminated any stress that one could experience when planning a wedding. The professionalism of the hotel staff as a whole was impressive as well. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the hotel was as well as how friendly and helpful the staff was. Our guests were also impressed by the quality and delightfulness of the food served at our reception, it was delicious and the chefs deserve the highest of compliments for their delectable creations during the cocktail hour and dinner courses. Our dream wedding was made possible by Steve and his staff at the LondonHouse, and we will always be appreciative and thankful for the once in a lifetime experience they gave us.
