Steve and Karen were easy going, and very knowledgeable about many genres. They helped us find the right music for each part of the night. At the reception they, 'read the crowd' and made the night memorable. Amazing at keeping us on track!!

Steve and Karen did a phenomenal job at our wedding! They kept constant contact with us during the planning process, and answered any questions that we had, giving us advice on how the setups would work best at our venue. I would HIGHLY recommend Lone Star DJ to anyone. They are some of the nicest people and my husband and I loved working with them.

Steve and Karen were wonderful to work with. They kept us on track all night and rolled with every change. We moved our ceremony from outside to inside and they made sure we were set up for the audio while still keeping in mind how the photos would turn out. They were a joy to work with and took all of the stress out of planning the music and timeline.

Lone Star Dj did a greg job at my wedding! Everyone had so much fun dancing and loved the variety of music that was played. They really will play anything and everything you could ever want and they are such a sweet couple! I would highly recommend to any bride or groom! In response to Jennifer Barnes review of Lone Star Dj: We believe it is necessary to reply to this review to remind future customers that there are two sides to this story. This couple selected us after the DJ they hired canceled, and the replacement DJ that the company offered was unacceptable. This couple booked us two months before the wedding. It was evident from our first meeting that the bride was upset because she was not able to have her first choice. We are of the opinion that no matter who the replacement DJ would have been, they would have received the same negative feedback. Notwithstanding the bride's poor review of our business, throughout the evening we received many favorable comments on our performance from their guests and venue coordinator. We have been performing for over 20 years. If you are interested in our services, don't rely on this one review alone. We have many brides that are eager to provide you extremely positive feedback. The bride stated that we did not follow the agenda. Prior to every wedding we perform, we meet with the couple and establish an agenda to follow. This couple was constantly making changing up to the night of the wedding, which was really not a problem. We reminded them that we were very flexible and we would be happy to adjust the schedule during the reception if needed. The groom changed events and times frequent during the reception. For example, as the time for the scheduled events came near, we approached the husband based on the agenda we agreed to and asked if they were ready. Each time we asked the groom, we were told that the bride was not ready and they would let us know when they were ready. This is how the entire evening progressed. The bride states that we were rude to her. I am not sure where this comment originates. From the time we arrived at the venue until the end of the evening there was no discussion or communication with the bride, only with her mother and the groom. At the end of our performance, we spoke to the bride's mother about our final payment. the payment was not in accordance with our contract nor as agreed despite the many reminders we provided. The bride goes on to comment that we didn’t play the music she requested. As with the agenda, we go over the type of music the couple wish to be played along with any guest requests. The couple provided us with a list of songs to be played. Ninety percent of the songs were played during the evening. The balance of the reception time was taken up by playing the groom’s and guest requests.

I got married in April 2011, and it was a blast. It is a husband and wife team and they were professional, energetic, personable and very easy to talk to. They brought in props(hats & hula hoops)and played an array of music. It was amazing to see everyone having soo much fun on the dance floor!
