We made an appointment to view this venue and the coordinator didn't even show up. When we emailed them they said "sorry" and tried to get us to drive back to the venue 2 hours aft...
er we left. Keep in mind we told them it took us over an hour to drive there for them not be there. We still wanted to visit the venue on a different day and they just stopped answering. I wouldn't trust them as a venue they are horrible.
They went out of their way to make my daughters wedding perfect! From the very first meeting to the last item packed up it was flawless! And did I mention the food? Delicious! The ...
staff on point! Thank you so very much!
Marlene and Daisy made our wedding dreams come true! Our big day was everything I had dreamt of since I was little girl. The poolside ceremony was romantic and absolutely beautiful...
, the only bummer was the occasional airplane taking off...but even a loud plane engine couldn't rain on our parade! The cocktail hour was wonderful, everyone loved it! The reception was fabulous!! The food was beyond delicious, mouthwatering chicken Marsala and the best scalloped potatoes we've ever had! Everything moved so smoothly, without a single hiccup! The wedding suite was amazing...sooo huge, it made for great "getting ready" pictures because the view from the 8th floor was glorious! The buffet the morning after was the perfect way to end a wonderful whirlwind of a weekend!
I stayed at the hotel the night before my wedding. They gave me a room with a great view of the Long Beach airport runway. The room was spacious for the preparations that I needed ...
to get ready for my big day. The hotel staff was very helpful, polite and friendly. The hotel was located across the street from my wedding venue Skylinks Golf Course.
Our wedding was this past December. Decided to start early with the booking and reservations, so took a look in February. Everything looked great! Hector was great, although it did...
take him some time to reply when leaving a message or email. We reserved the room block in September. In November, they called and told us that they had double booked the honeymoon suite (which was what we signed the contract for). They ended up giving the room to the OTHER couple, and giving us a double conjoining room... I was disappointed that nothing extra was given to us for the mix up...
The Sales and Events group are wonderful! I loved working with them from the first day I walked in to my Wedding night. They were so accommodating, always in contact with me (I w...
as an out of state bride), and refreshing to work with. Marla was my hotel coordinator and Ricardo was my event captain for my reception there. If you book with the Marriott, work with them, you will not be disappointed!
We spent months and months looking for an affordable venue for our large wedding reception. When I contacted the Long Beach Marriott, initially their prices were a little out of ou...
r budget, but after talking to the event manager there and telling her how much we loved it she was able to arrange a different price and work with our budget. It turned out to be a really great price considereing it covered everything from the dinner, to the cake, the dancefloor and even a complimentary room the night of our wedding. Marla was great and did everything she could to make sure everything came out amazing. I wanted a Christmas wedding and this venue was the perfect place. The giant Christmas tree in the lobby was perfect for photo ops and Marla made sure there was not one, but two Christmas trees in the ballroom for us. Even the Maitre d was outstanding. He took care of us all night and made sure everything was in place. We heard nothing but good things from our guests, everyone agreed the Long Beach Marriott was a beautiful location.
We had our wedding here July 2010. We did have some problems with the coordinator but it all ended up great in the end. The day of the wedding all of the staff were very helpful.
Lots of room for cocktails by poolside( No extra charge) and great room for reception. Lovely garden, flowers, and waterfall) atmosphere. Florist was associated with the hotel...
(he does the flowers for the hotel) and he was wonderful. The bakery that the hotel uses(Rossmoor Bakery) was spectacular. And we had an ice carving that was delivered to the venue that was great! The event planner at the hotel was very good in meeting our needs and wishes. The food, although not expensive, was great. (and served on time with many servers and bartenders. No one had any complaints about anything. They even offered more food to anyone who wanted an extra portion.;Go for it.. nothing was wrong. I would have it there again .
