The Love Crush Beauty team is fabulous! From the initial wedding hair/makeup trial, to having to postpone the wedding, to making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day, Gretchen was not only super accommodating, but was also extremely kind, responsive, and so talented! She did my hair and makeup EXACTLY how I envisioned it, and it lasted all night! The rest of her team was also amazing - very friendly, professional, and they all did an amazing job. All my bridesmaids and both moms were so happy with how they looked, and everyone's hair and makeup lasted the entire night, through sweat and (happy) tears. Gretchen and her team were absolutely amazing! They came to the hotel we were in and worked so well especially since we had to work with COVID restrictions. We had about 8 girls including myself for hair and make up and I couldn’t have ask for a better group of people to do my hair and make up and my bridal party. One of my girls wanted barely there make up and they were more than accommodating about changing the makeup around!!!! Made the best day of my life an absolute breeze!

Gretchen and her team were amazing! We had an enormous amount of people in my bridal party, then mother’s and grandmother two flower girls oh my goodness. They came to my parents house and got us all done so quickly and calmly. Did I mention almost everyone had flower crowns? Gretchen has the dream team and was such a positive part of our special day, we shared moments with them that we still talk about today. Everyone including myself was so happy with their hair and makeup which is almost unheard of in such a large group of girls. Everything stayed day and night. Our family will definitely be coming back to her for the next event!

Updated Review: Love Crush Beauty Team is amazing! Over the last two years I had to change my wedding date three times, Gretchen was so accommodating with the date changes. Finally, the day has arrived, and I couldn’t be happier with the Love Crush Beauty team. The scheduling was perfect, everyone was done early. Everyone looked GORGEOUS!!! Everything was perfect! hair and make-up lasted the whole night! If you looking amazing hair and make-up team hire Love Crush Beauty. I had an amazing wedding hair trial with Gretchen on Feb 28, 2020, and I even rocked my hair the next day at my bridal shower. It was beautifully done and looked amazing. March 21, 2020, was supposed to be my wedding day but with the current global epidemic, I had to reschedule my wedding until next year. Gretchen has made the switch so stress-free, I'm extremely thankful for her and I can't wait to see her next year!

Gretchen and her team were awesome! As someone who never wears makeup, it was my biggest worry for my wedding day. She did a great job matching my olive skin tone and listening to what I wanted. For once in my life I didn’t feel a clown in makeup. I felt like myself but just enhanced! All of my bridesmaids were happy with their hair and makeup. As a naturally curly haired bride I NEVER get my hair done at weddings. Gretchen was able to work with my natural curls and they looked flawless all night. Her rates were very reasonable and her team stuck to schedule. I would 100% recommend booking her!

Gretchen and her team were a calming presence the morning of my wedding. They were complete professionals and knew exactly what they were doing during our VERY early morning hair and makeup session. With my mother having spent this past year battling and beating ovarian cancer, she was concerned that she wouldn’t feel beautiful for our wedding. But Gretchen and her team made my mother feel absolutely beautiful, they took the time to expertly apply lashes, and makeup, and no one could tell she was wearing a wig that day. She didn't look sick at all and looked beautiful and vibrant! Making sure my mom felt gorgeous was a top priority for me on my wedding day and they absolutely succeeded in doing just that. My only advice would be to make sure you schedule enough time for getting ready...don’t want to feel rushed and anxious.

Gretchen and her team came to my hotel to do hair and makeup for myself, 9 bridesmaids and the mother of the bride and groom for my wedding (11/9/19). Gretchen also came to my venue later on in the night for touch ups so I felt perfect going down the aisle. Gretchen is professional in every sense of the word. Love Crush Beauty absolutely made my wedding day 10/26/19 perfect. From my first meeting with Gretchen to our parting goodbyes on the day of the wedding, the process was easy and stress-free. We had 22 hair/makeup services altogether done in 4 hours and no one ever felt rushed. Myself, the bridesmaids, and moms felt so beautiful and the pictures turned out gorgeous. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed perfectly the entire/day-night even through tears, dancing, sweating, and some late-night rain! I seriously looked as good as I did by 3 am as I did at 1 pm. AMAZING! Gretchen and her team did my friend's hair and makeup for her wedding, and they came highly recommended. My trial was wonderful, and I didn't have to change a thing for the wedding day. Gretchen was able to look at a few photos I brought of hairstyles and my dress, and she listened to how I normally wear my hair and makeup. She was able to create a look that was so very me. I don't often wear makeup and I hardly do my hair. Gretchen put me at ease and made me feel beautiful without feeling too made up on my special day. Gretchen and her team were patient and amazing with my friends and family. We had one bridesmaid who had her toddler and another bridesmaid with a developmental disability. The team handled this with patience and knowledge. I never thought my sister would sit still long enough to get her hair and makeup done, but she did. And, we all looked great! The team was patient with my mother-in-law and her indecision about hair extensions. Even after a long wedding day taking pictures on a hot August day at the beach (with some wind and lots of dancing), my hair and makeup looked amazing all night. We just got our photos back and I am awestruck by how good the women all look. I was even able to wear my hairstyle to brunch the next morning. I highly recommend them!

Gretchen and her team did such an amazing job! We were all so happy with how our hair and makeup turned out, and for me, seeing everyone in their final look is really what made it all seem so real!!! Gretchen and her team were great! I have to say I was a little nervous and pestered Gretchen with questions leading up to the wedding day, but she was super patient and willing to do what needed to be done to make my day easy and me comfortable. I really appreciated her flexibility and her work was amazing!! It was 84 degrees and very humid out. My makeup stayed all day and so did my curls! Gretchen is very organized and make sure everything runs smoothly during the whole makeup and hair process. Shes very calm and works hard to get everything exactly as you want it. i loved my hair but it kept falling out throughout the night and the makeup was nice but there was something missing. Her assistant that did the girls hair did such an amazing job. Even was able to work with my grandmas long very curly hair.

Just got married on Friday and Gretchen came to my house to help me and a few of my friends get ready! Gretchen and her team were so professional, flexible, and easy to work with on my wedding day! I wanted to make pretty significant changes after my trial (loved my trial hair and makeup but just had a different look I wanted to go for!) and Gretchen asked me a lot of questions to make sure I got the look that I wanted. All of my girls raves about their hair and makeup and multiple people commented that my makeup didn’t budge all day! They were early and efficient with their time and super organized which a type A bride like myself really appreciates. You also can’t beat the prices, especially if you want to keep costs for your bridal party down. Highly recommend!

Gretchen and her team are magicians!!! The day of my April 2019 wedding in Montauk we were dealing with 30 mph winds and an outdoor 2:30 pm ceremony on the cliffs. This meant that my bridesmaids and I needed to be ready early, spent several hours outside in the wind, and needed our hair and makeup to last for 10 hours. I still don’t know how they did it but my up-do remained in place throughout the whole day (including the after party!), and my eyelash extensions actually didn’t come off for 48 hours (well into my honeymoon). Ditto for my mom and bridesmaids. Her and her team’s work was gorgeous and timeless and they were all professional and warm, a lovely group to spend your last few single hours with. Overall I would highly recommend Gretchen and her team!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Gretchen and her team! I was married this past weekend, very early in the morning, and had a very large bridal party. All the team members were on time, professional, friendly and super quick! I couldn’t believe how fast they finished all 10 girls for both hair and makeup. I highly recommend Love Crush Beauty! Gretchen and her team are absolutely wonderful! I had a trial with Gretchen long before the wedding, and she was the only one out of four artists that could get my hair the way I showed with an inspiration photo, and actually got my fair skin right and didn't make me look unnaturally tan or two toned. She's so sweet and patient and has a calming effect the day of the wedding. She was early and setup to start working on time and handled working with bridesmaids and my mom who all couldn't stay focused since they were excited really well. She made all my girls and my mom and me look gorgeous and we got so many compliments on our looks. My makeup lasted all night but I did get a touchup to help touchup my lipstick and hair which only started coming out due to so many guests tugging on my veil in the receiving line. Gretchen was great to work with all day and really made me feel and look like a beautiful bride. Her airbrush work is so well done and she knows skin. I had stress issues with cracking lips and blotchy eye area and you couldn't tell once she was done. I would absolutely recommend Gretchen's team. The prices are really great compared to other quotes I had gotten and we were so happy with her work.

Gretchen and her team were ABSOLUTELY amazing. As the first vendor to show up during the madness that is morning of your wedding, they play a HUGE part in how your day starts. Every person LOVED how they looked and the team was so personable and professional. I was nervous about time with so many people, but the team worked so diligently that we even finished early!

This team is great! The power went out on my wedding day and they still got the job done. My sister wanted her hair styled with no heat and they were able to do a beautiful style. They can handle anything and I had a large amount of services for that day. Below is what I wrote to Gretchen and her team who serviced my wedding April 6 2018: I want to start of by saying thank you so much for everything you and your wonderful team did for my wedding. All the bridesmaids and family members that did their hair, makeup, or both stated that this was the BEST service they ever received and I agree. My bridesmaids had diverse hair types and each of you were able to style their hair exactly how they wanted. One feedback I was provided with is that the person showed a photo of only the front view of the hairstyle she wanted and you ladies were able to do the exact same style in the front with a beautiful style in the back that complimented the hairstyle. Makeup wise, we all used the airbrush makeup and it lasted through all the tears the day of. At the end of each service you each were open to feedback in asking whether or not they wanted any changes in their hair and/or makeup. In the hotel, the power went out! Any other bride would have went into complete panic mode when that happened, but I did not because I was confident in you and your team. Everyone on your team was so calm and composed while this was happening. If I recall correctly, the power was out for at least 30-40 minutes and your team still managed to get 14 hair services and 8 makeup services done before the time I requested. From the makeup trial to the wedding, there is no other team I wanted to be with on my wedding day. Thank you so much! I don't think there are enough words to explain my gratitude. I was so happy to be with such a professional and agile team that day and I would recommend you to any bride that asks me. Great service at such a great price as well. Hopefully we can work together in the future.

Gretchen was great and very thorough to work with! She did my make up for my wedding and had two other makeup artists join her to do makeup and hair for my bridesmaids. The airbrush is a great touch, it lasted all night! One bridesmaid couldn’t get airbrush due to the machine not working properly toward end of day but Larissa did regular makeup and it came out equally beautiful! Great prices for hair and makeup for bridesmaids, best I had found in the area!

Gretchen and her team were great! She did a great job advising me on hairstyles, and after trying out a few (ones I found on pintrest) that I felt looked to "young" on me, she did my hair in such a way that really made me feel like a bride. She was willing to try out the pintrest hairstyles, and did a wonderful job helping find one that worked better for me. I also did not really want a veil and she suggested baby breath instead, and I absolutely loved it and got so many compliments. Her and her assistant also did my 5 bridesmaids and they were both very professional and efficient. My girls and I got compliments all night!

My trial with Gretchen went so amazingly well that I didn't think twice about booking her for myself and large bridal party. Her and her team did an amazing job. My makeup on the big day was absolutely flawless. Sadly, my hair fell out quite a bit an hour into reception. I noticed that there were less pins put into my hair day of than on trail day. Bit of a bummer but still very pleased as my makeup was so perfect!

Gretchen was wonderful to work with. I loved my trial and suggest you go home and try on your dress with the makeup on and hairdo and take pictures so you can see what it will look like the day of. I realized my hair was too dark and had time enough to have three rounds of highlights to take my hair from jet black to caramel blonde. This, of course, was going to change my makeup for the day of so I showed Gretchen pictures, and also had some of my own makeup, which was not a problem to use. She did a great job on my updo, which stayed firmly in place all day. The decorative comb and veil placement was great and taking the veil off was quick and easy. My makeup stayed fresh all day. All I had to touch up was my lipstick. Gretchen is so soft-spoken and calming that she really puts you at ease the morning of your wedding. I highly recommend her!

Gretchen and her team worked on my 9/9/17 wedding. Her entire team was absolutely fantastic, kept everyone on schedule and all of my bridesmaids hair came out beautiful. First off- let me start by saying I am absolutely not a girly girl by any means. So make up and hair is totally not my thing. And every time I have gotten my make up (especially) done I absolutely hate it every single time I leave. 100% of the time when I get home I wash it off and put on my own. Which led me to strongly believe that for my wedding I was going to be doing my own. I went for a few trials with other make up artists before finding Gretchen as well. I even booked with one other one (NOT gretchen) because I really just thought that when you get your make up done you are just going to look like a cake face. It never sat well with me that I booked with that other lady so after a little back and forth I got my money back. I said to myself I am going to just do ONE more trial (after my now husband begged me not to do and just to do it myself). Well- I am so glad I did go for that last trial because this is when I found Gretchen. I learned that no you are actually not supposed to look like you have pounds of make up on and when you go to a women with some serious experience you leave looking the way you imagined you would. Gretchen and her whole time wow-ed one tough group of girls. I was nervous there was going to be complaining- but literally not one girl had a complaint and every one felt gorgeous which truly showed in the pictures. When you FEEL beautiful you look beautiful. Save the time shopping around and wasting money on trials- because I did- and just go to Gretchen. Her and her whole team, so professional, punctual, fun, talented and overall just great. As the bride I used Gretchen and I had numerous photo shoots with my photographer (engagement and boudoir, and obviously wedding) and each time I left I looked awesome. I really felt it too. Even my husband loved it and he hates make up. My hair looked exactly the way I wanted it and I have some seriously difficult hair to work with. I am telling you- show this women a picture and when you leave you literally look just like it. Whether it be something extremely dramatic (I did my engagement shoot dramatic and boudoir a little more simple, I know sounds totally backwards right!) they can do it all. I had a wide range of ages for my bridal party and everyone felt beautiful that day. I wish I could post pictures to this review just to show everyone! Its also pretty awesome that all the women on Gretchen's team are insanely sweet, professional, funny and overall just a good time which is important wedding day! We all had a blast getting ready. Gretchen and her assistant did an awesome job with our hair and makeup. She was very organized and timely. She really did exactly what I had asked--and without any trial (as I did not have time!). I felt very beautiful on the day and she really did an incredible job and would book her again if I could or needed to! Only nit picky thing was that we were ready VERY early (almost 1.5 hrs) due to scheduling--and it all felt a little bit rushed, just to wait around. I was in my dress and couldn't really leave the room without everyone seeing me--so I wish that it had not been so regimented, but it was better to be ready early than late! Perhaps if I had planned better to be getting ready in another room--I wouldn't have felt that way!

Gretchen and her team were wonderful! I truly felt like a princess :) we had a Renaissance wedding and Gretchen was able to capture the natural romantic look I wanted. Gretchen came with two of her artists to our hotel room for a morning Wedding Ceremony in late August. She was spot on with timing the schedule for hair and makeup for 4 of us. They arrived with all their supplies at 4:30am sharp and did amazing work. We all looked fabulous with our airbrush and eye lashes. I thought it was on the pricer side but you only get married once right.

Gretchen did an amazing job with my hair and make-up for my Hindu wedding and reception. Gretchen was there bright and early to set up and she spent the entire morning doing my hair and makeup, and that of the bridal party. My ceremony makeup was light and natural and dramatic at the same time. Just what I asked for! My bridal party's makeup looked fabulous and everyone was happy, including my mom and mother in law. For the reception, we only had an hour and a half do to had a full hair and makeup change and Gretchen pulled it off. No stress, no rush, just calm, collected and professional. :)

Gretchen and Shari did a spectacular job on myself and my bridal party. Gretchen was extremely professional throughout the whole process from trial to my wedding day. Our makeup and hair was flawless and it lasted throughout the night. Even though it was a windy day, all of us looked perfect for the outside ceremony, pictures, and dancing the night away. I would definitely recommend Gretchen and her company to anyone that wants to have a relaxed and perfect experience for that special day or occasion.

MALI was absolutely fantastic! After Gretchen did my makeup when I was a bridesmaid in my cousins wedding, she was the first person I called to do my makeup for my wedding! MALI was also an amazing value, they are the company that offered bridal party makeup that INCLUDED airbrush and eyelash extensions!!! The team was amazing and so professional! They made myself, all my bridesmaids and the moms look like incredible. MALI came on-site for our wedding and even with a limited time to get everyone ready, Gretchen made me feel at ease and not rushed at all, with her fully planned out schedule of who was doing hair/makeup with when and with each stylist. I looked and felt like a princess that day! I was able to show Gretchen an idea of what I wanted and she was able to recreate and even better version! My mother-in-law was feeling a bit uneasy about having her hair and makeup done since its out of her comfort zone, but Gretchen made her feel at ease and reassured her how lovely she would look. I have never seen my mother in law look more special or elegant than she did on our wedding day! Thank you for a fantastic, memorable day MALI! I look forward to working with you again soon! :)

After doing trials, my sisters and I chose Gretchen Marie for our hair and make-up for my wedding day. In addition to loving our trials with her, we found from the beginning that Gretchen always responded in a timely manner, she's sweet and professional and that is so Important! I wanted to feel red-carpet worthy, elegant on my wedding day- and hair and make-up is a huge part of that - Gretchen totally pulled off the hairstyle I wanted and she worked with my sisters to find a style they each loved. Gretchen and her team did my hair & makeup as well as h&mu for my 3 bridesmaids and my mother-in-law. During the initial trial, Gretchen was personable and friendly, and asked me questions and listened to my input. She made me feel extremely comfortable, which is so important when you trust someone with your wedding day! On the big day, the team arrived on time and in bubbly spirits, which really helped me & my bridesmaids get excited! I received so many compliments during my wedding, and my pictures look great. Gretchen is talented, professional, and friendly!

Gretchen did an amazing job for my hair and makeup as well as for my junior bridesmaid and mom. She was great to work with and put me at ease throughout the whole process. My maid of honor had done some research into makeup artists/ hair stylists who would be willing to travel and, in doing so, I had the pleasure in meeting Gretchen. She demonstrated professionalism in all aspects and was very pleasant to talk to. She would always stop to double check whether or not I liked the work at that particular stage, which I, also, liked. Additionally, she was very conscious of hygiene when it came to makeup, which I also found to be a plus.
