Long Island Bridal Hair & Makeup By Love Crush Beauty

how their hair & makeup turned out. Could not recommend them more!

vered such beautiful looks that truly lasted all day! My makeup held up through many, many tears on this emotional day. I am so pleased with my choice in beauty team! We had so much fun getting ready with these ladies. What a great experience!

eel for what I wanted. Day of hair turned out perfect! They also worked with me when I changed the style of makeup I wanted after my trial and the day of it ended up better than I could have imagined! Thank you so much for the flexibility and expertise to make me feel awesome for my wedding!

without being pushy. Also she was very clear from the start with all the information I needed to make a decision. Both Gretchen and Shruti knocked it out of the park the day of my wedding. Several of my bridal (myself included) are curly girls and Gretchen did an amazing job with our hair day of. After disappointing experiences in the past, I loved how she honored our hair textures and made everyone's hair look amazing. Shruti was fantastic - we all went with a soft, natural, romantic look and she delivered. Everyone looked like the best version of themselves. Between my trial and big day I wanted a few tweaks to my look and felt comfortable expressing them. I loved the final result!

nt for more "natural looks" and everyone was so happy with how their hair and makeup turned out! We looked so beautiful and Gretchen, Stephanie, Valerie, and Erica were so helpful in guiding us in the direction of what would look/work best on each of us! It was an absolute pleasure to work with them. Book with these ladies - you won't regret it!!

day, I can confidently say that I felt the most beautiful I've ever felt! My bridesmaids also looked amazing, and everyone felt so beautiful! We loved working with the Team at Love Crush Beauty.

ng job) and it lasted all day night! Thank you!

..everyone's hair. Those who chose an updo were especially attractive and stayed in place all night. Those of us who chose more natural looks with our hair down were also very pleased. The woman who did our make-up was amazing! I was thrilled with my look as was everyone else, including and most importantly, the bride! Plus, they were all so nice. I highly recommend Love Crush Beauty.

s not only super accommodating, but was also extremely kind, responsive, and so talented! She did my hair and makeup EXACTLY how I envisioned it, and it lasted all night! The rest of her team was also amazing - very friendly, professional, and they all did an amazing job. All my bridesmaids and both moms were so happy with how they looked, and everyone's hair and makeup lasted the entire night, through sweat and (happy) tears. And on top of all that amazing work, they are very reasonably priced, especially compared to other vendors in the Long Island area. I highly highly recommend them.

uests and questions. Tiffany (makeup) and Erica (hair) who did my hair and makeup were truly amazing and great to work with. Shruti (makeup) and Maria (hair) the other stylists part of the team were also amazing. All of the bridesmaids, moms, and grandmas loved how everything came out. Tiffany and Erica came back for touch-ups before the ceremony and would 100% recommend this. Thank you again to Gretchen and the Love Crush Beauty Team!!!!

cluding myself for hair and make up and I couldn’t have ask for a better group of people to do my hair and make up and my bridal party. One of my girls wanted barely there make up and they were more than accommodating about changing the makeup around!!!! Made the best day of my life an absolute breeze!

ouse and got us all done so quickly and calmly. Did I mention almost everyone had flower crowns? Gretchen has the dream team and was such a positive part of our special day, we shared moments with them that we still talk about today. Everyone including myself was so happy with their hair and makeup which is almost unheard of in such a large group of girls. Everything stayed day and night. Our family will definitely be coming back to her for the next event!

, the day has arrived, and I couldn’t be happier with the Love Crush Beauty team. The scheduling was perfect, everyone was done early. Everyone looked GORGEOUS!!! Everything was perfect! hair and make-up lasted the whole night! If you looking amazing hair and make-up team hire Love Crush Beauty. I had an amazing wedding hair trial with Gretchen on Feb 28, 2020, and I even rocked my hair the next day at my bridal shower. It was beautifully done and looked amazing. March 21, 2020, was supposed to be my wedding day but with the current global epidemic, I had to reschedule my wedding until next year. Gretchen has made the switch so stress-free, I'm extremely thankful for her and I can't wait to see her next year!

what I wanted. For once in my life I didn’t feel a clown in makeup. I felt like myself but just enhanced! All of my bridesmaids were happy with their hair and makeup. As a naturally curly haired bride I NEVER get my hair done at weddings. Gretchen was able to work with my natural curls and they looked flawless all night. Her rates were very reasonable and her team stuck to schedule. I would 100% recommend booking her!

nd makeup session. With my mother having spent this past year battling and beating ovarian cancer, she was concerned that she wouldn’t feel beautiful for our wedding. But Gretchen and her team made my mother feel absolutely beautiful, they took the time to expertly apply lashes, and makeup, and no one could tell she was wearing a wig that day. She didn't look sick at all and looked beautiful and vibrant! Making sure my mom felt gorgeous was a top priority for me on my wedding day and they absolutely succeeded in doing just that. My only advice would be to make sure you schedule enough time for getting ready...don’t want to feel rushed and anxious.

s seamless and simple, and was helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. I don't wear a lot of make up day-to-day and had never previously had my hair/make up done professionally, so I was nervous from the out. Gretchen and her team listened to what I wanted and were able to advise me on what would look best for my colouration and style, and did such a great job on the day. Our hair and make up stood up to a long day of eating, drinking, laughing and dancing, and the team were punctual, friendly and easy to get along with. Recommended to any bride looking for skilled, professional artists who are also friendly, kind and courteous. Gretchen, Adrianna and Kim -- thank you!

e later on in the night for touch ups so I felt perfect going down the aisle. Gretchen is professional in every sense of the word. She answered emails promptly, took the time to explain the contract and showed up on time the morning of our wedding. She was kind and easy going and made the morning stress free for all of us. I felt like a million bucks with my hair and makeup and I would recommend Gretchen and her team to anyone for any occasion. You won’t be disappointed!!

tress-free. We had 22 hair/makeup services altogether done in 4 hours and no one ever felt rushed. Myself, the bridesmaids, and moms felt so beautiful and the pictures turned out gorgeous. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed perfectly the entire/day-night even through tears, dancing, sweating, and some late-night rain! I seriously looked as good as I did by 3 am as I did at 1 pm. We got compliments the entire night about how natural and beautiful the makeup looked. I can't thank them enough!

e wedding day. Gretchen was able to look at a few photos I brought of hairstyles and my dress, and she listened to how I normally wear my hair and makeup. She was able to create a look that was so very me. I don't often wear makeup and I hardly do my hair. Gretchen put me at ease and made me feel beautiful without feeling too made up on my special day. Gretchen and her team were patient and amazing with my friends and family. We had one bridesmaid who had her toddler and another bridesmaid with a developmental disability. The team handled this with patience and knowledge. I never thought my sister would sit still long enough to get her hair and makeup done, but she did. And, we all looked great! The team was patient with my mother-in-law and her indecision about hair extensions. Even after a long wedding day taking pictures on a hot August day at the beach (with some wind and lots of dancing), my hair and makeup looked amazing all night. We just got our photos back and I am awestruck by how good the women all look. I was even able to wear my hairstyle to brunch the next morning. I highly recommend them!

all seem so real!!! Getting your hair and makeup done is such a fun and important part of the specialness of the day, and that’s exactly how Gretchen made me feel! Her and her team were right on time and had everyone’s hair/makeup scheduled out in order to make sure we were done and ready for the photographers. The whole morning was seamless and everyone looked perfect! So if you want to feel beautiful, and confident, and relaxed (as much as you can be) then you should definitely hire Love Crush Beauty!

do what needed to be done to make my day easy and me comfortable. I really appreciated her flexibility and her work was amazing!! It was 84 degrees and very humid out. My makeup stayed all day and so did my curls! Special shout out to Shani who also did some great work on my mom and sister! LoveCrushBeauty really knows what they’re doing and it was a plus that they offered both hair and makeup for one stop shopping!

stayed perfectly all night, and was just like our trial. My makeup was equally amazing and looks stunning in our photos. All of our wedding party’s hair turned out amazing as well. Only my mom got makeup, and she looked stunning! I highly recommend Gretchen and her team for your event!

i loved my hair but it kept falling out throughout the night and the makeup was nice but there was something missing. Her assistant that did the girls hair did such an amazing job. Even was able to work with my grandmas long very curly hair.

ions to quick email responses. She really made the whole makeup part of the day very relaxing and enjoyable. Gretchen listens to what you want and are looking for and is supportive of your decisions. Thank you for helping me look and feel great !!

and professionally. With a big group like that, it is hard to please everyone, but I can honestly say that every single girl truly was so incredibly happy with their hair and make-up. Each member of Gretchen's team was thoughtful, kind, and unbelievably talented! Gretchen herself is such a calm and kind presence and being with her was a great start to the day! Thank you so much to you all!

akeup but just had a different look I wanted to go for!) and Gretchen asked me a lot of questions to make sure I got the look that I wanted. All of my girls raves about their hair and makeup and multiple people commented that my makeup didn’t budge all day! They were early and efficient with their time and super organized which a type A bride like myself really appreciates. You also can’t beat the prices, especially if you want to keep costs for your bridal party down. Highly recommend!

my bridesmaids and I needed to be ready early, spent several hours outside in the wind, and needed our hair and makeup to last for 10 hours. I still don’t know how they did it but my up-do remained in place throughout the whole day (including the after party!), and my eyelash extensions actually didn’t come off for 48 hours (well into my honeymoon). Ditto for my mom and bridesmaids. Her and her team’s work was gorgeous and timeless and they were all professional and warm, a lovely group to spend your last few single hours with. Overall I would highly recommend Gretchen and her team!

Michelle nailed it!! Highly, highly recommend !!!! Thank you for making us all look extra beautiful!!

bers were on time, professional, friendly and super quick! I couldn’t believe how fast they finished all 10 girls for both hair and makeup. I highly recommend Love Crush Beauty! All the girls looked absolutely radiant!

howed with an inspiration photo, and actually got my fair skin right and didn't make me look unnaturally tan or two toned. She's so sweet and patient and has a calming effect the day of the wedding. She was early and setup to start working on time and handled working with bridesmaids and my mom who all couldn't stay focused since they were excited really well. She made all my girls and my mom and me look gorgeous and we got so many compliments on our looks. My makeup lasted all night but I did get a touchup to help touchup my lipstick and hair which only started coming out due to so many guests tugging on my veil in the receiving line. Gretchen was great to work with all day and really made me feel and look like a beautiful bride. Her airbrush work is so well done and she knows skin. I had stress issues with cracking lips and blotchy eye area and you couldn't tell once she was done. I would absolutely recommend Gretchen's team. The prices are really great compared to other quotes I had gotten and we were so happy with her work.

I depended on reviews (found here on The Knot) to find the perfect stylist. After speaking with Gretchen, I knew right away that she and her team were the ones. She helped with all of my questions and skin concerns. She puts together a schedule which keeps everything on time the morning of and RELAXING! I highly, highly recommend hiring Gretchen, she is the BEST! My mom's, bridal party's, flower girl's and my hair and makeup came out stunning and lasted all night. Our looks were natural and nothing over the top, we all looked like ourselves. Thank you so much to Gretchen and her team!!

air looked flawless the whole night and I highly recommend them!

SO grateful they were there for me. Not only was their work flawless, they were amazing in keeping me and my bridal party calm and on time. Everything else depends on the timing of your hair/make up and they were perfect. They handled my parent's excited dog with grace, they kept us on schedule and overall just kept me sane. I am so happy with my choice and I cannot recommend them enough <3

o personable and professional. I was nervous about time with so many people, but the team worked so diligently that we even finished early!

They can handle anything and I had a large amount of services for that day. Below is what I wrote to Gretchen and her team who serviced my wedding April 6 2018: I want to start of by saying thank you so much for everything you and your wonderful team did for my wedding. All the bridesmaids and family members that did their hair, makeup, or both stated that this was the BEST service they ever received and I agree. My bridesmaids had diverse hair types and each of you were able to style their hair exactly how they wanted. One feedback I was provided with is that the person showed a photo of only the front view of the hairstyle she wanted and you ladies were able to do the exact same style in the front with a beautiful style in the back that complimented the hairstyle. Makeup wise, we all used the airbrush makeup and it lasted through all the tears the day of. At the end of each service you each were open to feedback in asking whether or not they wanted any changes in their hair and/or makeup. In the hotel, the power went out! Any other bride would have went into complete panic mode when that happened, but I did not because I was confident in you and your team. Everyone on your team was so calm and composed while this was happening. If I recall correctly, the power was out for at least 30-40 minutes and your team still managed to get 14 hair services and 8 makeup services done before the time I requested. From the makeup trial to the wedding, there is no other team I wanted to be with on my wedding day. Thank you so much! I don't think there are enough words to explain my gratitude. I was so happy to be with such a professional and agile team that day and I would recommend you to any bride that asks me. Great service at such a great price as well. Hopefully we can work together in the future.

h is a great touch, it lasted all night! One bridesmaid couldn’t get airbrush due to the machine not working properly toward end of day but Larissa did regular makeup and it came out equally beautiful! Great prices for hair and makeup for bridesmaids, best I had found in the area!

my hair in such a way that really made me feel like a bride. She was willing to try out the pintrest hairstyles, and did a wonderful job helping find one that worked better for me. I also did not really want a veil and she suggested baby breath instead, and I absolutely loved it and got so many compliments. Her and her assistant also did my 5 bridesmaids and they were both very professional and efficient. My girls and I got compliments all night!

dule, and our morning was smooth and low-stress because of it, even with 10 bridesmaids! I cannot recommend Gretchen enough.

p looked great and they did an awesome job of bringing my wedding's Great Gatsby theme to life through hair and makeup! I can not say enough good things about them. They are affordable, professional, punctual, and talented. They even finished early and I had 13 for hair and 8 for makeup! I highly recommended them for your big day!

ig day was absolutely flawless. Sadly, my hair fell out quite a bit an hour into reception. I noticed that there were less pins put into my hair day of than on trail day. Bit of a bummer but still very pleased as my makeup was so perfect!

k like the day of. I realized my hair was too dark and had time enough to have three rounds of highlights to take my hair from jet black to caramel blonde. This, of course, was going to change my makeup for the day of so I showed Gretchen pictures, and also had some of my own makeup, which was not a problem to use. She did a great job on my updo, which stayed firmly in place all day. The decorative comb and veil placement was great and taking the veil off was quick and easy. My makeup stayed fresh all day. All I had to touch up was my lipstick. Gretchen is so soft-spoken and calming that she really puts you at ease the morning of your wedding. I highly recommend her!

k for each individual. Would definitely recommend.
