We had our wedding in the summer of 2024 in Philadelphia, and hiring Rob as our DJ was one of the best decisions we made! From start to finish, Rob exceeded all of our expectations. Each one was timely, well-organized, and filled with great communication. He made the planning process seamless and really listened to what we wanted for our big day. We had a last minute issue with our previous DJ, and Rob stepped in like a total professional less than a month before our wedding. He made the entire planning and set up process so easy, really listened to us through each of our calls, and the music that he played was not only so much fun but felt so custom and specific to what we wanted. He really took the time to make sure that he knew what we wanted, and on the night of he was perfect at making sure he adapted to the vibe of the crowd as the night went along. I also have to give him a huge shout out because when we ran into a small logistical issue day of, Rob worked directly with our venue to make sure it was totally handled without us having to stress about it on our wedding day. I can't recommend Rob enough!

After our first call with DJ Rob we knew he was the one! The vibes were 10/10. He listened to what we wanted, was hyper aware of timelines and name pronunciations and was a great host. When it was time to dance the people were on the dance floor! He’s based in the Philly area but came to northern NJ. So happy we got him.

From the ceremony music to the last song of the night Rob had the party moving! We had an amazing experience with Rob as our DJ. He is very organized and detail orientated. He pushed us to be original and unique with our song choices which made for an amazing time. The highlight was seeing the little clips Rob added his instagram of the wedding. It truly was better than we could of asked for!

DJ Rob was amazing! DJ Rob did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (3 separate spaces at the same venue). He did everything from make sure we could be heard clearly during our vows to keep the party going during our reception. Not only did he keep things running smoothly across all 3 spaces, but he played music that fit our style and playlist. He even custom mixed a song for me so I could do a dance for my husband with a couple of friends. He really listed to our cues and made sure that we had an amazing time on our wedding day. He was so professional and gave good suggestions and tips to help make the night transition smoothly (for example, having my husband ask me for the first dance). He is great at reading the vibes and is a wonderful emcee. He was able to incorporate all of the songs that we wanted including traditional Cambodian songs. He brought the energy and we received so many compliments on him. The ad libs throughout the night were hilarious and spot on. He pays so much attention to the vision that you and your partner want to create for the night. I would hire him for any event!

My husband and I got married this past April and were blessed to work with really great vendors. Rob was no exception! Rob has the humility to listen to all concerns or preferences his clients have along with the professionalism and confidence to work with music from cultures outside of his more frequent client base. We wanted a DJ who was equally comfortable working with K-pop and Korean hip-hop as he was with nostalgic songs both my husband and I grew up listening to as 90's babies. Rob hit all the marks! Throughout the whole planning process, Rob was always patient, professional, and fun to work with. He takes pride in his work and truly cares about making this huge milestone a celebration. We truly had a dream team of vendors for our wedding and Rob was a crucial part of that. He was so involved leading up to the wedding — with face to face meetings via Zoom, making sure he got to know us as a couple. He ensured we heard all the songs we wanted to hear but we trusted him to put his own spin on it, and he absolutely nailed it! Our wedding was January 2022, and a lot of guests couldn’t make it due to Covid. I thought for sure people would be too nervous to get on the dance floor, but he kept our guests dancing all night. The energy he brought to the day was everything we were hoping for and more. We feel so grateful to have found him and we’d recommend him 10x over!!

DJ Rob was my DJ and MC for both my weddings. I had a traditional church wedding and an African wedding and he was excellent. I have known him for a while and have worked with him on many occasions. I would highly recommend him; he’s as good and as professional as they get, and he totally is the man for all occasions, because he really understands all kinds of demographics.

Rob and his team were a blast. Rob was nothing short of fantastic as our wedding DJ. In our first meeting, we told him that all we wanted was for our reception to be a party. Party is the word that most of our guests used when we asked how they enjoyed the reception. Rob has perfected his craft and his business acumen matches his skill as a DJ. He was consistently responsive when prompted and his platform, Long Life Entertainment is well thought out. He is highly organized, which is refreshing. We had a few concerns about some of our vendors, but we had zero concerns that Rob would give us the party we wanted. During the reception, there was a situation out of Rob's control that forced him to adjust the plan on the fly and he did so with extreme professionalism. We couldn't recommend him enough and we would 100% hire him again.

Rob was the best wedding DJ we could have asked for. We are an interracial couple and wanted someone who could play to a mixed crowd. He did an incredible job of making everyone feel comfortable and happy to be on the dance floor. He had a wide array of music and it all transitioned well. He was great at reading the room and playing not only to the people already dancing, but also putting on songs to get more people into the floor. My husband and I both come from a theater background and wanted to play some broadway songs during dinner. Rob was so accommodating and let me edit songs and send them to him to be played. He even offered to edit them himself. There were some really specific requests we made in other areas as well and he was great at accommodating everything we asked for. We barely left the dance floor and had a great time. Rob also seemed to have fun himself, which really elevated the whole evening.

Working with DJ Rob was one of the best decisions I made for my September wedding. Music was extremely important to me! So when I had my first meeting with him, my gut instantly told me that he was going to be the best. And that's what happened! He created the perfect atmosphere for all the parts of my wedding by listening to what I wanted and understanding what I wanted even if I could not articulate it perfectly ! Leading up to the wedding, he was very attentive and super chill when it came to planning. He met with us via phone and in person. He even did a great job collaborating with me to edit a track to make it perfect for my intro dance. Overall, DJ Rob was professional, easy to communicate, and blended the music perfectly. We hired Rob for our wedding 2 months ago and had zero regrets! Rob was well dressed, personable, engaged the crowd when appropriate , and created moments. He listened to our requests but we did not need to monitor anything. He knew how to get everyone involved, follow the timeline, and create songs that met all of our styles! I do not have enough good things to say about Rob. From the beginning, my husband Adam and I connected with him immediately. We both felt like he understood our vibe and flow for the night and he truly went above our expectations. He was energetic, read the room really well when it came to the current music that should be playing and he hyped up the crowd when necessary. We were so happy and multiple people mentioned the next day to me they thought he was awesome. Highly recommend Rob if you want a fun wedding!!

Let me just say… DJ Rob was amazing for our wedding at Wolf Mountain Vineyard (Dahlonega, GA). During this challenging year of the pandemic there was never a better time to have a creative, entertaining, and EXPERIENCED DJ for the biggest day of lives. On the day before the wedding, it was obvious he was well prepared for every possible outcome that could risk our perfect evening. He was very detail oriented and masterful at working with others so our ceremony and reception - he DJ’d both - ran beautifully. He was very flexible and found ingenious ways to get around any day-off challenges! And there were many because of COVID. His DJ savvy was fantasticcc.. Rob is very good at what he does and very professional. He took the time to know us at a personal level, our needs, the type crowd who will be at our wedding & type of music we wanted to have at our wedding. We wanted for our wedding to be a big party dance and RoB had everyone on the dance floor dancing ( Social dist-dancing) and enjoying the moment. Rob was attending my birthday party and voluntarily went home to get his music when he realized how little music we had. All my birthday party guests still talk about how good the DJ was to this day. Needless to say, I requested his services for my last minute destination wedding in Ocean City, MD. He promptly made the necessary arrangements and arrived at my wedding on time and did not disappoint with his musical selections.

Rob blew us away as our wedding DJ. All of our wedding guests had such an awesome time and everyone was dancing. People can't stop talking about what a great DJ he was. A couple that was at our wedding actually hired Rob for their wedding the following year. From the moment we met with Rob, we knew that he was our guy. We were looking at a lot of Dj's for our wedding and Rob was the most informative, professional, and in our price range. Rob was prepared with detailed spreadsheets to help make the process as smooth as possible. He was always available to talk on the phone to clarify any questions we had, and our minds were at ease knowing that we were in good hands. And the best part is how honest he is. He does this job on the side out of pure passion for music. He is not in this business just to make money. When our venue had changed sizes last minute we did not need as many up-lights and he refunded us our money. Anyone else would have kept that money!! on the day of the wedding i was blown away! His set up was incredible and the constant feedback from the guests were just a reaffirmation that we made the right choice! We loved having Rob as our DJ and we would recommend him for any and every event.

It doesn’t get better than DJ Rob. He did the music for my wedding reception at the Merion in Cinnaminson NJ, for a guest list of 200 people. I’m not sure if anyone in the room was still sitting 8 minutes into his music set. Rob really understands the crowd he is trying to move. He found a way to get every possible demographic on my guest list dancing and having a fantastic time, regardless of their musical preference. To anyone who uses his services, rest easy knowing you have found a true master of the craft, and bring a set of comfy shoes to keep up with all the dancing you’ll want to do.

Rob was the BEST DJ we could have ever asked for!! He made the entire evening flow super smoothly, from our fun bridal party entrances, to the speeches, to an amazing set of dance music that had EVERYONE out on the dance floor. Rob was thorough, easy to work with, and totally receptive to our ideas; he helped us structure our timeline for the evening, which seemed like a daunting task initially as we opted for a long cocktail style reception over a formal sit-down dinner. His wonderfully thoughtful spreadsheet helped us organize our must-plays and musical tastes, and with that he delivered AMAZINGLY smooth mixes and perfectly timed bangers. The number of guests- from family, to friends, to old folks and party animals- who gave compliments on the flow of music was unbelievable. I am so grateful for Rob and his talent- the jams and fun we had dancing with our friends was one of the most memorable parts of a whirlwind of a day. I had the pleasure of working with Rob for my wedding in Philadelphia. Not only is he extremely talented, but his attention to detail was like NO OTHER! We provided a must play list for cocktail hour, dinner & the reception & trust me when I tell you; he listened! Rob did an excellent job at our wedding. Dawn and I were particularly impressed how Rob was able to mix up the various genres of music. We had a crowd of people from ages 20 to 70+ and somehow Rob was able to keep the dance floor full. He also mixed up various styles at our cocktail hour and people commented on the variety of the music and sound quality. Rob was an amazing DJ for our wedding. He started the process very early after reaching out to him by providing us a very thorough spreadsheet to fill out based on our likes and dislikes. He included sample wedding and reception templates to get us thinking in the right direction and offered multiple phone and in person checkpoints to really make sure he knew what we wanted. Our wedding itself was amazing and played perfect music for every phase. He played all of our must plays and did not play anything that was inappropriate for the moment. As an added bonus at the end of the night he brought me to the turn tables and had me DJ for the last few minutes of the reception, I stunk as a DJ but it made the night more memorable regardless. Music is very important to the both of us and from the beginning we knew we needed the best dj for our wedding — enter DJ Rob. We were so grateful to find him and can not recommend him enough! Our musical genres were all over the place (disco, hip hop, classic rock, boy band) and Rob seamlessly checked all of our boxes—getting everyone of all ages on the dance floor and keeping them there all night! Some guests told me they had blisters from dancing, which in my opinion is the sign of a fantastic dj and money well spent. Rob is a true dj and artist, he custom made our first dance sing mix (which was amazing and we still listen to often), listened to all of our requests (and do not plays!), and kept the party going all night long. There were so many little details he added (i.e. in the best man speech) during our wedding and even sent us photos and videos he captured during our wedding of the endless dancing. Rob is a professional who impressed us from our first conversation. He was extremely organized, kept our flow and timeline perfect and offered suggestions about planning the reception, and worked with us to fit our budget and venue. We cannot stress how critical the right dj is for your big day. Music is extremely important but you also need a professional to read the crowd and keep the flow and party going— DJ Rob is all that and more, look no further than him for your special event. If you are looking for a DJ, do yourself a favor and book Rob for your wedding. He and his hype man were amazing. We didn't give much direction but with the little amount of detail that we provided him, he gave us the best party that we have ever been to. The lighting was amazing that he set up. From the very start of the Reception, we threw him a curveball and he handled it like a pro. Once the cake was cut, every single guest was on the dance floor having a great time the rest of the night. It doenst matter what your music preferences are, Rob knows exactly how to play to the crowd. We highly recommend Rob for your wedding. He is worth every penny, and some.

Rob and his MC did a fabulous job at my daughter's wedding. They played great music, were full of energy. they got the crowd dancing and having fun!! They were extremely thoughtful and caring during a dance between the groom and his sister, as their mom just recently passed away. I would recommend them again and again. So.... My husband and I were married January 20, 2018. We had the privilege to have DJ Rob as our mistro for the order of music at the wedding and the DJ at our reception. The level of professionalism and special care in ensuring our day was amazing was definetely noted in DJ Rob B. I met with him a month prior after he sent me a spread sheet which was detailed allowing me to think through things I didn’t even naturally would of think of. He was able to apply some of the special details I requested into the wedding proceeding smoothly without a hitch. His pricing was definetly reasonable and it help that he was timely and knew exactly what music would engage our guest to party all night. He really was amazing!

Rob played an instrumental role in the amazing success of our wedding! Rob is truly one of the greatest DJ's in the Philly area. I cannot overstate how happy my wife and I were with Rob's performance at our wedding on 10/13/18. As Daft Punk aimed to "Bring Life Back to Music," in 2013, Rob did exactly that. We had planned months in advance with him every fine detail of our reception, but when that day came, I just put my trust in Rob and told him to feel the room out. He did exactly that, kept it within our style, and got just about everyone up to dance. We've been to a lot of weddings where the DJ's just press play for a set list, and they don't add any spark or life to the party; Rob is not one of those DJ's. The energy and talent he added truly set the vibe for the party. Almost two weeks later, and we are still getting compliments on the DJ from friends and family. The process of booking and planning with Rob was flawless. We spent time face to face, had several calls, and e-mailed frequently. The level of detail and attention he paid to our event was impressive. He'll cut tracks, blend set lists, and basically bend over backwards to get exactly what you want on your wedding day. He was extremely helpful guiding us through the process and making recommendations to make our wedding reception a perfect night. Opt for the Mcee, they work well together. Price might be a little on the higher end, but we've learned from our wedding, you truly get what you pay for. Rob is truly worth every penny and more. My wife and I had absolutely no idea where to start looking for DJs, and we are so lucky to have found Rob online by chance. Anyone on the fence, just book him already, you'll be glad you did.

We had the most amazing experience with Rob! He flew all the way to Vermont in January (despite the ice and snow storms!) Guests still tell us that we had the best wedding reception that they've ever been to.
