Alexander is a photography genius! From the moment we saw his portfolio, we knew we had to go with him. He was so easy to talk to and again, his work speaks for itself. We first met with Alexander during our engagement shoot at Longwood Gardens. We are so glad we had this opportunity for us to get comfortable in front of the camera and get to know one another. Our engagement pictures were flawless and made for the perfect Save the Dates! It was also important to us to have a photographer that knew our venue. He knew all the perfect spots with the best lighting. We cannot wait to see the final product as we know they are going to be incredible!! Thank you!

We booked with Alexander after a referral from a friend- we were sold from the 10 minute call we had with him initially! He is so BEYOND organized, professional, and fun to work with. Within 10 minutes of speaking to us, he mapped out our entire timeline of the wedding with ease. And thats exactly how the day went, effortlessly stressless (for us at least!) Alexander worked amazing under some stressors like it rained almost all day and my family is huge and crazyyyyy! We still managed to get gorgeous pictures despite weather and he was able to rally my entire family for beautiful photos. Choosing Alex as our wedding photographer was one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. He is incredibly talented with an exceptional understanding of lighting and the art of photography in general. With him behind the camera you can have full confidence that he is going to capture you looking your absolute best. He is so friendly and kind, and his energy throughout the whole planning process and the day itself brought me and my husband so much peace of mind. Your wedding photographer is technically with you and your spouse more than anyone else that day, and we felt so comfortable with him like he was one of our friends. Alex is absolutely phenomenal. There is simply no other word to describe him, his company, and his approach to documenting your wedding day... or wedding days in my case. As a Covid Bride, the process of planning, rescheduling, planning a micro-wedding, and re-planning a wedding was absolutely overwhelming. Alex took so much stress away from us by always being available to talk via text, phone, or e-mail. He was so accommodating to our shifting schedule. We booked Alex for our November 2020 Micro-Wedding which took place at my childhood home. The photos were breathtaking and made our very simple, at home pandemic wedding appear to be spectacular. He really captured memories that will last us a lifetime. We were lucky enough to have Alex shoot our big celebration, which included a Re-commitment Ceremony and Reception, in June 2021. Again, Alex was sure to capture us in our element- surrounded by our loved ones who we had been away from for so long. due to the pandemic Alex was my go-to guy on my June wedding day- he calmed me down when he sensed my stress level rise and he all in all just guided me through the day. I am confident when I say there is simply no photographer who runs a better gig then Alex and LongBrook Photography.

Alexander is so great to work with personally and professionally. He was such a calming presence on the day of our wedding, and he had the best jokes, which helped to catch some naturally big smiles and happy moments. We’re so happy with our wedding pictures, and our friends and family cannot believe the beautifully candid moments he captured. We were initially drawn to Alexander because of the natural colors in his photos and how effortless each picture looked, but we ultimately chose him because of how easy he was to talk to and work with. He is definitely the person you want to photograph the best day of your life.

Alexander did such an amazing job on our photos. We have not spent a lot of time in front of the camera, but he made us feel very comfortable and fit right in at our wedding. The photos captured our love, the beautiful venues of the ceremony and reception, and our loved ones. We are so thankful for hiring Alexander and cannot thank him enough!

We knew of Alexander and his insane photography skills from my (now) husband's best friend's wedding he was a groomsmen in. Both being photography hobbyists ourselves, we knew even before we got engaged that we were going to hire Longbrook Photography for our engagement and wedding day pictures. Alexander is a very technical shooter and he understands lighting and how to capture not just a photo -- but the moment! He has a journalistic style because he doesn't tend to stage anything or go into intense posing... He captures a lot of action and the real emotions of his couples. In addition, you will not find his photos insanely edited or with strong color filters which is something we love as well. The filters of today's wedding photos are definitely a style -- but to us they do not feel timeless and being able to maintain the colors of scene just as we remembered the day is something we really love about Alexander's work as well. We also really loved the second shooter, Zach, who Alexander brought on as a second shooter for our wedding. They both have very similar style of shooting and we just adore every single photo! Alexander as a guy (meaning aside from his superhero photographer abilities) is extremely chill and personable! He has become somewhat of a friend over the course of the two years we spent planning the wedding. He is really easy-going, laid back, creative and funny! We loved during our engagement session with him getting to do some unplanned photos in a rain storm which came out beautiful. He loves to tell a good dad joke and really gets everyone to feel comfortable being in front of the camera with him. As my husband would say, "Alexander is a solid dude!" :-) Pricing in our mind for a photographer was not something we cared to bargain about as the photos are to be the memories that live on for future generations - they are extremely important for your wedding day. Alexander definitely understands that and he works incredibly hard for his couples to deliver beautiful, unique work all while using the top equipment in the industry. His services are well worth it! In addition to getting high quality files of the pictures, he also handles prints/albums which is super easy and hassle-free. With that, you should hire him!! Alexander is superb! We could not have asked for a better photographer. He was funny, energetic, and extremely professional. Alexander is warm and it’s like you’re taking photos with a friend. Alexander was an incredible asset to our wedding experience from start to finish. He was open and friendly during our first conversations over the phone and very patient in answering our questions. During the period of time between signing a contract with him and the wedding day, he was periodically in contact with us. We were so pleasantly surprised to receive a handwritten note a couple of weeks before the wedding reminding us to take some time to relax and enjoy each other's company amidst all the planning. That note, and the thoughtfulness, kindness and attention to detail that it required, perfectly exemplifies the kind of person Alexander is! He asked a lot of good questions ahead of the wedding about what kind of photography wanted and really helped us think through what were priorities for us. During the day of the wedding, he did a tremendous amount of work upfront scouting locations for our first look pictures and then was so flexible and nice when we were getting too cold to take advantage of all the beautiful shots he had planned out. He made some pretty solid dad jokes to put us at ease but also respected that the moments before the wedding are really special and intimate. He did a fantastic job of capturing the ceremony without blocking anyone's view or being distracting. At the party he was in the middle of it all and as a result got some truly epic dance floor pictures. Again he balanced being a part of the scene without changing the feeling of the moment. We are so pleased with the pictures. He gave us a really nice selection and altogether they tell the full story of that day! Not only are our friends and families commenting on the quality of the pictures, they are still remarking on how nice our photographer was. I highly recommend him.

Alexander is incredible! We used him for our engagement photos, which were beautiful. Now we can’t wait for our wedding photos to come back. He is funny, low key, and really gets to know his couple. He gave us what we wanted and then some because he has such a great eye for cool shots.

I would highly recommend Longbrook Photography. Alexander is amazing and lovely to work with. He provided advice and recommendations during the planning process which helped ease any stress we may have had. On the day of our event, Alexander and his assistant arrived early and was prepared to start shooting immediately! They split up and were able to handle the requests of specific photos for both myself and my husband. Alexander set up the bridal suite to make it look extra dreamy for photos while we got ready. Next up was the first look, bridal party and family photos. His jokes were hilarious and helped us relax and enjoy the moment! As we transitioned into ceremony, cocktail hour and then on to the reception, Alexander and his assistant were ready for anything. They worked seamlessly with the videographer, DJ and entire Crossed Keys staff. I received my photos much faster than I had expected. I was speechless and I haven’t stopped looking at them since! Every moment captured on film was amazing and beautiful. He not only highlighted the beauty of the venue but the endless amount of love on that day. I am so happy my husband and I decided to choose Longbrook Photography to capture our special day and all of the memories made.

After seeing the photos from my sisters wedding I knew the first move to make after I got engaged was to hire her awesomely talented Photographer! Alexander has such a great energy about him and makes the entire photo process during your wedding calm and relaxed. He was cracking jokes the whole time and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Of (what seemed like) millions of decisions we made during our wedding year, hiring Alexander Johniddes via Pat Furey Photography was one of the best. First of all, Alexander is crazy talented. Our photos look like they’re straight out of a magazine. He captured the narrative of our wedding so ridiculously beautifully and accurately. Alexander took candid photos of my mom and dad with signature expressions on their faces that truly capture their souls. These are the photos that are invaluable - we’re forever grateful to Alexander for capturing the people we love in the most authentic way. Aside from Alexander’s mad talent, his energy and total professionalism make him a great addition to a (possibly crazy) wedding day. He is so positive, hardworking, chill, and a total genuine person. My husband and family felt very comfortable with him around on our big day. He's the best!!!!

I cannot say enough great things about working with Alexander!!! Not only is his work absolutely gorgeous, but he is just an amazing person! My husband and I both consider ourselves to be awkward, especially when it comes to taking pictures, but he made our engagement shoot and wedding day so much fun. We just got our pictures back, and I cannot stop looking at them. Our wedding day flew by, and he captured the day perfectly, so it was amazing to reflect on them and re-live the day! If you're hesitant to spend a little extra on photography, I say do it because he is worth every penny!! So grateful we got to work with him!!

How has no one reviewed Alexander yet? What an experience we had! We heard of Alexander through a friend when we were all but done choosing our photographer, and at my wife's insistence, we re-opened the decision process. I am so glad we did. We had our engagement shoot in Brooklyn and Long Island City, and had an October wedding at a winery in the country, and Alexander seamlessly made both scenes feel as though they were right next to each other. His vision is immaculate if not trumped by his ability to bring the best out of the subjects. He was able to give us the feel we wanted on the day, without feeling like we were working for it. He made sure to get all the pictures we were hoping to have while playing the "fly on the wall" role as well. He is a tireless worker. He made sure to get pictures of all the little touches we brought to the venue "to make it ours" so that we were able to remember the day. He even skipped out on a part of his meal time to grab some desired family photos. He was everywhere. We were on a bit of a budget for our wedding, and Alexander was extremely helpful and accommodating. We are both of the mindset that the photographer is one of the vendors you want to get a great return for the amount you spend, and Alexander hit that mark perfectly. The photographer is probably the only person who spends more time with your bride/groom on your wedding day, than you do,, and if we had to do it again, Alexander would be the first person asked. (He even sent us a note and Starbucks card a week before thew wedding just in case we needed "a coffee break" during the final stretch) He is more than our wedding photographer, he is now our friend, and I can't recommend him enough.
