Longhorn Guest Ranch is a countryside wedding venue situated in Cascade, ID. Located on 214 acres of private Idaho farmland, this family-run Scottish Highland Cattle ranch provides celebrations with a mesmerizing and secluded backdrop. It offers a selection of exquisite event spaces, a dedicated service staff, and comfortable accommodations, making it an ideal spot for weekend weddings. For added convenience, it is only a 90-minute drive from Boise, perfect couples looking to escape the bustle of the big city to celebrate in peace and serenity. Longhorn Guest Ranch is owned and operated by Victoria and Jason Johnson. This husband-and-wife duo first visited the location in 2018 and was instantly taken with its natural beauty and serene atmosphere. The decided that it would be the perfect place to relocate and help couples bring their wedding dreams to life. As a working cattle ranch, the venue radiates a feeling of authentic ‘old west’ charm whilst also being comfortable and peaceful. Guests are invited to explore the glorious natural surroundings and participate in a host of fun activities in the nearby mountains, lakes and rivers, including kayaking, horseriding, jetskiing, hot springs and more. At Longhorn Ranch, Victoria and Jason are committed to making planning your wedding a seamless and stress-free experience. With room for up to 200 guests, they offer a range of picturesque event spaces for every stage of your day. The Lodge offers a dance hall, dining area, and games room, and features stunning views overlooking the private valley. Outdoor ceremonies can be held in the meadow, and you are invited to bring tents for a covered outdoor celebration experience. The ranch can sleep up to 30 overnight guests in total, with accommodations including the main lodge, 9 private cabins, new glamping tents and the Silverado honeymoon cabin. A weekend package is available and includes accommodations, full use of the ranch’s common areas, rehearsal dinner, and breakfast for overnight guests.
