Simply put - my interaction with Long's Bridal and Alterations was absolutely perfect. My wedding dress was fairly intricate - lace, beading, you name it! I knew I needed to find a talented alterations specialist to work with. I looked online for highest rated alterations stores in Orlando which led me to Long's - and those reviews are more than accurate. Not only did Gwen and Jenny adjust my wedding dress perfectly, they also provided helpful suggestions for my dress and bustle that made it even more beautiful. They are both so kind, professional, and extremely accommodating with scheduling. They took excellent care of myself, as well as my mother and other members of our bridal party. I will definitely be returning to use their services again, and I highly recommend any bride to reach out to Long's Bridal for their alterations.

Went to them in tears because my dress was ordered in the wrong size and it was huge on me. They did an amazing job altering the dress! Super friendly and willing to work with you to make sure the dress is absolutely perfect.

Super friendly staff and amazing work! My dress had to be taken in 3 sizes in my waist. I also had off-the-shoulder lace sleeves added using lace extras from my dress. I had my belt sewed on and it took 10 bustles to get my train up. It only took 3 fittings and my dress is perfect. It fits like a glove and it's just what I imagined for myself. I would absolutely recommend Long's Bridal & Alterations. They are fabulous!!

After doing my research I found Longs Bridal and had my wedding dress altered here. The ladies at longs were serious miracle workers. I had a terrible experience at Minerva's Bridal where they measured me incorrectly and my dress was three or four times too big for me. Gwen was able to completely transform my dress into the perfect fit and completely delivered. I am so glad I chose Long's and would highly recommend.

I bought a wedding dress online that was specific to my wedding theme. It had green trim and pearls on the bottom. Being vertically challenged, it needed to be hemmed about 4". It also needed a strap or bustle for the train. The bodice fit perfectly but my daughter was not sure how to lace the back. The ladies at Long's were amazing. The length was perfect and the bustle was amazing. They even instructed my daughter as to the easiest way to get me into and out of my dress and the correct way to lace my bodice. It was truly a pleasant experience during a very stressful time. I would definitely recommend them for any alteration or bridal needs. They made my dream wedding come true.

They called my daughter to confirm her appt but then cancelled it when they found out she was a 12 petite by rudely telling her that they could not fit her plus size. Very upsetting to my daughter.

I went to Long's after hearing so many good reviews from my co-workers. I can definitely tell you I couldn't be happier. Gwen is such a wonderfully, sweet person who really knows her way around a dress! I was in between sizes when I had bought my wedding gown and after losing 30 pounds Gwen made a miracle happen. My dress fits me like a glove and I couldn't be more excited to wear it on my special day. Always professional, courteous, and honest I would trust Gwen with another gown in a heartbeat! I had to buy my wedding dress a size up, online to get it before it sold out, and I was swimming in the dress. Long's Bridal did a beautiful job fitting it to my body and also adding extra tulle to the top of my dress. They paid careful attention to the details and always made sure it was what I wanted. They also really cared about my story and what my wedding was going to be like, which I really appreciated. I would definitely recommend anyone who needs an alteration for their wedding dress to go to Long's Bridal.

I purchased a wedding dress from an online vendor that was supposed to be custom fitted, but ended up being two sizes too big. Long's Bridal took my measurements at a fitting and had my dress back to me in two weeks, perfectly altered and professionally steamed. There were zero issues with appointments, communication or quality of work. I would definitely recommend this vendor to others needing bridal alterations.

I would definitely recommend Long's! I had to have my dress altered pretty close to my wedding date and there was a lot to do! They added material to the back of my dress to make it fit (it was bought from an outlet and too small) and you couldn't even see where the material was added! My only small critiques are that the dress fit, but it was not madd snug so dancing meant constantly pulling it up. My bustle was a very small clip which is great in theory but broke very soon after getting to the reception. As far as service and work, these ladies are amazing but just make sure that your dress can make it through your reception.

Wow. Wow. Wow. I cannot say enough about Long's! When I bought my dress it fit, but when it came time for alterations it was 3 or 4 sizes too big! The ladies at Long's worked their magic and my dress fits literally perfectly. I cannot believe how amazing I look in this dress. The bustle they did for me is flawless, I've never seen one so nice. I will say they are pricey, but worth EVERY PENNY. I cannot wait for my wedding!!

Jennie and Gwen were great! My wedding dress alterations and bustle turned out very nicely! Jennie is very sweet, I couldn't make it in time before closing (because I had my rehearsal to attend) to pick up my dress the night before my wedding and she brought it with her and met one of my friends closer to my venue to drop it off!

Words cannot express how great my experience with Long's Bridal was. I went in with a dress I purchased online for $100 and they made it look like a $10,000 dress. I was skeptical to spend so much on alterations when I didn't see that much wrong with my dress but when I showed up for my fitting it was like the gown was made for me. The quality was beyond any hopes or expectations that I had and turned a dress I already loved into a dress even better than I could have dreamed. The girls that work here are such sweet, genuine people and they were such a pleasure to work with! I would send anyone who needs alterations they can really trust for their big day to Long's Bridal. For my dress, they dropped the illusion neckline so that it would not rub my collar bone, straightened and shortened the hem of my dress, made the bow go from a flop to the perfect accent, and added 6 bustles since my dress originally had none. In addition to my dress, they took my mother's veil and sewed it onto a new clip, bringing it from the 80's to a style that perfectly compliments my dress. All of this was done in under a month! I cannot wait to wear my dress on my wedding day and I owe so much of my excitement to these talented women!!

Went in to have a few style changes to my dress. They were super friendly and had a quick turnaround! Only needed a month to make the alterations and they got everything right the first time. So excited for my big day!

My best friend had her wedding dress altered by Longs Bridal and raved about the prices and the customer service so I of course went to their family owned shop to look for a dress. They have a great selection of wedding gowns and I bought mine from them at a very fair price. The alteration prices were the lowest I had been quoted anywhere; and the work they did was amazing and super fast. My dress fit PERFECT! Gwen and Jenny are both so sweet and accommodating. Both of them also have great, helpful advice on looks and styles that will suit you, if you want it.

I got my wedding gown alter at Longs and they are AMAZING and very pleasant to work with! It's a family owned bussiness so they made sure that I felt good about everything and that it was to MY liking. I live in New York but had my wedding in Orlando because of family. I got my wedding gown alter from Longs they came highly recommended from a coworker of mine who bought her dress there 15 years ago. Absolutely love them! The girls there are super sweet did a wonderful job and made me felt secured because my gown had a lot of lace and bead work which I know it's difficult to do and I am very picky. You couldn't even tell where she did the alteration it looks like the original and never been touch at all ! I was ver pleased with the result . I am a forever customer!!!! Thank you so much !!!!!

They are the one and only place to go. Jenny is the best ever and very helpful and customer service is top priority. Gwen made my dress be the way I wanted and then I loved it. I did not love my dress until Gwen altered it which by the way you could not tell that it was done. I would not go anywhere else and would have anything I need taken care of there not just my wedding dress. best place to go.

The ladies (Gwen and Jenny) at Longs are amazing !!! I got married on 9/5/2015. I got my dress and alteration there. They were really professional , knew what they were doing and actually did what I wanted. Evertime I was there they're always welcome me with a smile and always happy. Good energy! You could really see that they really love their job. I couldn't be any happier ! I really highly recommend them to everyone and will spread the words out , absolutely love them ! I went in one day before we were actually engaged and started trying on dresses (all of this happened over 3 years). Tried on about 4 dresses and found the ONE. I fell in love with it. Had to change my wedding date like 6 times and Longs Bridal made the the whole experience easy and amazing. I don't have one negative thing to say. The ladies are amazing and friendly. I took my David's Bridal dress to Long's after reading all the excellent reviews. The shop itself is lovely, and the women working were incredibly sweet. I needed the dress taken in and wanted to add a sweetheart neckline; they quoted me $300 for both, and I thought there was no way I could do it! They then suggested that instead of actually cutting the neckline, they could gather the material and do kind of a faux-sweetheart. The effect was basically the exact same, and they could do it for $100 less! Sold! I came back a little less than a month later, and the dress was completely done and PERFECT. The fit was incredible, and the neckline looked great. The ladies were again so nice and considerate. I was there alone, and they offered to take pictures, talked in length about my honeymoon plans, and just in general made me feel welcome and special. I would reccommend any bride take her dress to Long's!

I couldn't have been more happy with the alterations to my bridal gown. It is a satin gown with chiffon overlay that I was sure would be a pain to have hemmed but they did AMAZING!!! The fit is perfect and the bustle is beautiful! Everyone there was so nice and worked around my schedule. I will definitely be using Long's Bridal for any of my future alteration needs.

The ladies at Long's Bridal were fantastic. They are very welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. I ordered a Casablanca wedding gown from them as well as my veil. They were very accommodating with alterations in making sure you are comfortable. They were the second salon I went to and was brought to them by my matron of honor who had actually bought her dress with them 11 year prior. I would highly recommend them!

I bought a wedding dress and had a vision of what it should look like in my head, which was completely different than what the dress actually looked like. Long's Bridal was able to bring my vision to life! They made my alterations exactly how I wanted and they did it so quickly! I was on a time crunch because my wedding as literally the next week. Long's Bridal had all of the alterations done in 3 days! They completely transformed my dress into an entirely new dress! I loved it and everyone that saw it raved about it! I had my wedding dress altered, and bustles added, at Long's and they were soo accommodating to my schedule, extremely nice and reasonably priced. My (then) fiance, now husband, also go his suit altered there and the turn around was so fast! We will definitely go back to Long's for other alterations, even non-wedding related events!

After going to almost all the bridal shops in town Longs Bridal was by far the best experience I had ! Jenny was very warm and welcoming . I told her what I wanted and she did a great job pulling out dresses that was in that style and I ended up falling in love with the first dress. A good friend of mind had bought her dress at Longs years ago and recommended me to come here . Also their Shop is gorgeous! so make sure you go to their new location because a lot of people known them to be at the old one for years . Love longs and would highly recommend everyone here. Also I know I can trust them since they been around for so long.

I just moved to Orlando from Miami a month before my wedding. I did my first fitting/alterations in Miami but had to pick it up and finish the alterations in Orlando since I wouldn't have the time to drive all the way back to get my dress. When I picked my dress up it honestly looked the same as when I first brought it there. So disappointing. I loved my dress but I knew the fit was really off. I hoped I had better luck in Orlando. I took my dress to Long's Bridal after I saw the amazing job they did on my sister-in-law's dress. Thank the holy man above because my dress came out AMAZING!! Gwen and Jenny made me feel much better because not only did they say they could get the dress done on such short notice, but they also tucked and pinned the dress in all the right places to make the dress fit to me. It fits me perfect and I feel like Beyonce in it! The bustle they made was absolutely beautiful, regal, and elegant. Not only are Gwen and Jenny incredible seamstresses, but they are incredibly sweet and helpful. The best!! I am more than pleased with the service these two wonderful women have provided. If you want to look like Beyonce too, you need to go to Long's Bridal. ;)

I recently just got married on 9/6/14 I was not a member of The Knot but I had to become one just to make sure that everyone knows about these lovely ladies at Longs ! They are the Best of the Best at Everything and I met that literally!!! Gwen and Jenny did exactly everything that I've visioned what my wedding gown should be and even more! From taking it in, hem and the most beautiful bussel ever! And my dress was all lace with lots of bead work. They did a great job I highly recommend everyone if you want someone that knows what they are doing and that you can Trust ...Go To Longs! It's your wedding gown and that's really important. A friend of mind had recommended me here . I did not purchase my gown from them but I wished I did if I knew.

Long's Bridal SAVED my wedding dress!!! The place that was originally doing my wedding alterations said the dress didn't need taken in on the sides and wasn't willing to take the time to correctly alter the neckline. I was not in love with the dress I was soon to be married in. I pulled my dress from the bridal shop and immediately took it to Longs Bridal. The beading was a pain in the neck I'm sure, but Long's gladly took the beads off (and actually even suggested it would look better), did the alteration, and put the beads back in their precise place!! When I came in for the first alteration they asked if I had lost weight because the dress was so loose. They couldn't believe it was ordered in the size and could've been order a size smaller. They immediately suggested taking in the sides so my corset would be able to be tied without being completely closed---which the other alteration store said wasn't needed. WRONG. No one wants to buy a corset and have it tied up to the point that you can't tell it's a corset!! I LOVE LONGS BRIDAL! Again, they SAVED my wedding dress and I LOVED the dress I walked down the aisle in!

The ladies at Long's Bridal will make you feel like you are the only bride on Earth and there truly is nothing better. So many bridal salons rush you in and out to make their sale and fly througn to the next appointment and it can be very discouraging. This is the first salon where my family and I were made comfortable and given a 100% of the staff's attention. The alterations were completely perfect. The end product was a dress that made my body look incredible without preventing me from dancing all night! The bustle was unique and beautiful, and the compliments on my dress haven't quit coming. Please do yourself a favor and let Long's help you make the most important day of your life absolutely perfect!!

I came to Long's Bridal in search of a specific Maggie Sottero dress. They had the dress in stock, and I was able to try it on. While I was there, I also tried on several other gowns, but ended up purchasing the one I originally liked. Jenny was very friendly and helpful while I was shopping for my dress, and Gwen did an amazing job with the alterations. I highly recommend Long's Bridal!!!

The service at Long's Bridal was awesome! I went a few places without an appointment and everyone was really short with me except at Longs. They we very accommodating and didn't rush me at all. I ordered my dress and veil from them. The alterations we exquisite. She made me a bussel in the back that was virtually unnoticeable. I didn't have to tug or readjust my dress on my wedding day at all, even with all my dancing. The personal service I received was the best. She even remembers you by name when you do it. I was extremely happy with the purchase. I even took my mother of the bride dress for her to alter.

When I went to Long's Bridal, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It felt like they were family. You can tell they have your best interest at heart and not just making money. Gwen who did my alterations was amazing! She is so talented and knows what she is doing-my dress and jacket turned out perfect. I bought the jacket online and it looked huge on me, she made it fit perfectly now it looks like it came with the dress. Also, I bought my dress from another store and needed a lot of alterations, the other seamstress was not willing to listen to what I wanted and rushed when meeting with us. In addition to alterations, they also have dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Overall, going to Long's Bridal was a great choice, I definitely recommend it!
