After almost a decade of television production I decided to start Look Alive Productions. My goal was simple: offer high quality video and compelling storytelling, at a reasonable price. So what separates Look Alive from our competitors? I believe our defining strength is the fact that I personally handle each project from concept to creation. All too often I have seen productions fail to impress when ideas aren't effectively communicated between stages in the production process. This is why I am engaged in every shoot and every edit. I am committed to hearing what's most special to you and conveying that through the art of storytelling and cinematography. I look forward to hearing your story!

On the actual day he captured so many of the sweet and special moments from getting ready to the first look to the reception... somehow without us even noticing him or his equipment.! The footage that was provided to us was amazing - we love our cinematic "highlight reel" along with the raw footage of all of the wedding's special moments. redibly emotional. Everyone who viewed it was touched by it and of course I wept like a baby. Your wedding day is something you dream about even as a small child. The day was perfect, and the video is worth more than gold to me. Even more than my photos. There is something special about the actual video being in real time verses a still picture.
What stood out most with Look Alive was the attention to detail, from which lyrics played at a certain scene to when he cued the voice overs. The timing was perfect and helped tell the story! I wish you all could see it! I highly recommend you have a videographer and Jimmy, with Look Alive is the absolute BEST I’ve run across!! He is extremely personable, responsible and professional. He was a pleasure to work with. I think he cares just as much as the Bride and Groom do when it comes to capturing everything perfectly. And that’s what our wedding video was, ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!!

found Jimmy Hofstadter... We watched a few of his productions and we were sold. He is so quick to communicate. On top of that, he's very enjoyable to speak with. Leading up to and on our wedding day, he was incredibly professional, polite, punctual, and engaged with us and our guests as we requested. He is so creative and captured everything we asked for, as well as everything important that my wife and I never thought of. He captured our wedding in very high quality 4k, and even had a matching high-quality drone!!! He fit his way in with all our other vendors, namely the photographer and DJ. The wedding went seamlessly, and we have Jimmy to thank for a lot of that. Top notch guy. I recommend him to everyone.
