We had him control the music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, & reception - setting up speakers & microphones in 3 separate spaces, 2 of these being outside while it was raining off & on. He handled it no problem. We also really liked the software he provided to help us plan out & search for songs. It was a completely custom experience. I couldn't recommend Ross Phillips & LNFE more.

was very personable, professional, and has so much experience. Ross also has a lot of similar preferences to our taste in music so we really hit it off. He's very thorough in his organization of the set list and knows exactly how to excite the crowd and get people dancing. We booked LNFE for ceremony music / mics, and the reception music with uplighting. He not only recorded the audio for all of the ceremony and toasts, but also gave us a playlist of our reception music. Worth every cent. Our wedding went so smoothly and beautifully. The music for the ceremony was just the right volume and crystal clear. The reception dinner music was perfect and fluid. Ross made it so anyone using a microphone just had to start talking, while he controlled it's volume and on / off switch. You don't know how helpful that is until you are giving a reading or a best man speech. Then came the party on the reception dance floor. Ross nailed it right from the start. We had a long wedding day too, starting at 3:30pm and ending at 11pm. Our guests danced the entire night and every song lit them up. He played the perfect blend of music that all the guests, even my little grandmothers, danced to. I could not have been more impressed or grateful. Ross you made our wedding SO much fun and it would not have been the same without LNFE. If you are looking for a DJ who knows how to hook all of your wedding guests with a song and keep them dancing the whole night, Ross is it. My friends are all in the age range where a lot are getting married and all of them who attended have said they wish they had booked LNFE. Need I say more? Thanks again, so much Ross. away! We decided right then and there we wanted Ross to DJ our wedding, and what a perfect decision it was. We had an eclectic, fun blend of dance hits, latin remixes, 90s hip hop, and classics. We had some specific songs we wanted, but left Ross mostly in control to do his thing. We'll never forget, he started the dance party off with the song "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Swede. This was a total surprise, and a moment we'll never forget. It's sort of become our unofficial "song" now, and most weekends you can find us in our apartment, dancing around with the dog and singing that song at the top of our lungs with it playing in the background. Ross was an amazing DJ, and the whole LNFE team were so professional and a joy to work with. Transitions were seamless, and we hardly even left the dance floor to get a drink, because every single song was such a blast to dance to. Thank you Ross for pulling together the perfect reception/dance party! I would recommend Ross & the whole LNFE team to anyone in a heartbeat.

In every category he met and exceeded our best expectations (very organized, creative musical choices, matched the music to theme and desired vibe, easy to work with and communicate with, great package with uplighting included etc. etc.). I'd love to go to another wedding or party that he DJs.

We was so nice, so fun, and had so much knowledge and passion for what he does. Keith was not just our wedding DJ, but someone I leaned on for advice regarding other aspects of our wedding a couple of times throughout the process. Keith was so helpful and went above and beyond to take time out of his day to provide advice for me even thought this is not at all something he was required to do. The only way I can describe Keith in regards to the amazing party he threw is that he is a wedding party scientist. He did such an amazing job of feeling out the activity of the dance floor to keep the flow of the party going. If guests were into the song, the song kept going. If they weren't as into a song, he would change it and everyone would just magically gravitate back onto the dance floor. We have him to thank for the best party of our life! We received so many compliments about how awesome our DJ was! I knew that we would receive our ceremony and speeches in full, but I was so excited to receive the audio to hear that EVERYTHING was recorded! It is so fun to be able to listen to the whole experience over again and hear every song that was playing at our wedding. I cannot recommend this company and Keith enough.

long ago at one of the many bridal expos I visited. After a long day of mostly annoying and loud young men who think they can DJ had been yelling at me to book their services, a miracle happened, and I ran into Ross. I could tell Ross was immediately different than most of the DJ services I had talked to all day. He was professional and calm, and seemed more honest than a typical wedding vendor. Ross let us come to his studio so he could show off his DJ skills and talk one on one with my (now) husband and I, it was a nice personal touch in an age of "go online to hear my work". We hired him because it was clear he is passionate about his work. Ross is up for any challenge as well, because the music my husband and I listen to isn't what you would typically hear at a wedding. We gave him the strangest requests for our wedding music, like "make the ceremony sound like what is on obscure college radio" or "the reception dance music should sound similar to my homecoming dance circa 2008" . And I gotta tell you he hit the nail exactly on the head. The music he played for our wedding was everything we had dreamed about, almost like he was in our heads. Also you get a mp3 of all the music from that day, which is a nice memory to look back on. If you love music, please don't hire a generic DJ, Look No Further Entertainment is worth every penny for a perfect musical experience.

were 100% correct! Planning a Texas wedding in New York City was stressful at times, but never when it came to Ross and LNFE! He was a Skype or phone call away, and his online music selection tools are awesome. He is very perceptive of the general feel you're wanting for your music! On the day of the wedding, he had everything set up and ready to go in no time (he also set up the sound system for our outdoor ceremony, and everything was perfect!), and the reception playlist was everything we were hoping for! Aside from, of course, playing our requests, he filled in the extra time with perfect picks that matched our tastes and also kept guests of all ages out on the dance floor - everyone had a great night, and we can't thank Ross enough for making our wedding night so much more fun and special! & Ross were amazing and easy going when I spoke with them over the phone during the planning! They want to do what YOU want to do! Keith also gave me great suggestions based on experience -which were so helpful for me! When unexpected rain/delay happened, he was so fast to start playing some music and ease the guests into good vibes- he was so quick to act fast so that there was not one second of awkwardness which was so important to me! He didn't just play a playlist or play a whole song through unless the crowd was feeling it.. he kept EVERYONE OF ALL AGES on the dance floor and based his actions strictly off of the vibes of the crowd. He also announced all of the big things / special requests and handled the entire day and timeline better than some wedding planners could! I would recommend them 100% and would book them again no doubt!

During our planning we had mentioned a band that we liked that isnt main stream and asked Ross to incorporate it into our dinner songs and on the day of the wedding we heard the band right as we sat down for dinner. It meant a lot to us that he really listens and does everything he can to make the client happy. Ross was very professional on the day of the wedding and such a great guy to work with. He kept the night moving and really knows how to read a crowd. He also provided us with beautiful up-lighting that really made the room stand out. We didn't have to worry about anything, they orchestrated it all behind the scenes and worked amazingly well with our coordinator too! They even set up the up-lights for us.. which were BEAUTIFUL and I HIGHLY recommend getting!! They completely set the tone and make everything look a million times better!! Ross was extremely accommodating with letting us have as many up-lights as we wanted, and adding more as we got closer to the wedding. ON TOP OF ALL THIS.... they gave us a recording of the entire reception as well... it was awesome! We loved working with them and would recommend Ross and Ric to any one interested in having DJ entertainment at their wedding!!

After communicating back and forth with Ross about the vision we had for our wedding, and reading up on his background and experience, he made us feel completely at ease that he would deliver exactly what we were looking for. We hired Look No Further Entertainment to provide music and uplighting for our reception only. Ross quickly provided us with online tools to plan our day, select music we wanted played and even music we didn't want played. The online tools were very straight forward and easy to use, but if I did have a question Ross responded to my emails within 24-48 hours. I wish all our vendors provided the level of service that Look No Further Entertainment did! Ross also explained to us that he liked to meet his clients in person so that he could get a better feel for them and their vision for their big day. Being from out of town, it was difficult for us to travel to Austin, but Ross arranged his schedule to meet with us when we would already be down there for our tasting. After meeting Ross in person, and hearing a live sample of his mixing ability, we knew we had made the right choice in DJs. On our wedding day, Ross was set up and ready to go well ahead of time (unlike some of our other vendors). He made our reception everything we had envisioned it to be. If I could give Look No Further Entertainment 10 stars, I would! 100% professional, builds your day around you and nobody else, delivers 110% of what he promises. hed the internet for the best of the best, we found Ross and set up a Skype interview to talk through his style and process. We were blown away by the amount of prep he's done for his craft. He had great insight into not only how music affects a party, but also what makes a great environment, how people react to certain elements, etc. This guy knew his stuff and it was evident right away. He then was able to provide contracts, wedding music prep tools, etc online which made it incredibly easy to plan for. Throughout the process he worked with us to craft a plan for how we were going to incorporate all the different genres we wanted represented - from jazz, country, tejano - to new wave, pop, rap - Ross never broke a sweat. For the big day, Ross and his associate came early, evaluated the space, made adjustments, and knew what to do without coordination, which was less stress on me as the bride. He set up lights too which completely transformed my venue. The music was PERFECT for both ceremony and reception! The crowd was dancing non-stop. We even had Ross play videos throughout the ceremony which were executed flawlessly. He was able to read the crowd to ensure everyone was having a good time. On a personal note, my wedding coordinator turned out to be a dud so I really relied a lot on Ross for helping me keep on the timeline. He proved to be more valuable than my actual planner in terms of making sure we were on track. I seriously couldn't have done it without his professionalism. And then we got the best treat - a recording of the ceremony and reception so we could relieve the day! I can't speak highly enough of him, and I am a picky person. Do not hesitate to book this DJ especially if you're looking for no-hassles and every assurance that things are going to turn out spectacularly.

We are really happy that we're going to have those recordings, especially a couple of songs that members of our families performed during the ceremony Second, he was great at perceiving what we wanted and didn't want, and knew when to use a light touch in selecting the music. Prior to the event, we gave him a playlist we wanted him to play during dinner, and then a looser set of suggestions for the dancing portion of the reception. During the dancing portion, he did a terrific job of "filling in the blanks" for us -- the music was high-energy, but not cheesy at all. During dinner, he played the set of songs we asked for, only he came up with a great order in which to play the songs. This list even included some pretty specific covers/live versions of songs, which he was more than willing to track down. Third, Ross was incredibly flexible. The terrible Hill Country floods occured the previous weekend, and we had to make a number of last-minute adjustments. Ross actually arrived about an hour early to set up, and was really responsive to what we needed. We strongly recommend Ross for your wedding, or any event for that matter.

looking for someone who would just spin good records and NOT be on the mic. Keith worked really, really well with my huge "Must Play" and "Play If Possible" lists and played as much as possible. He has really good timing and read the crowd really well. Keith had awesome gear, impressive sound system and lighting. A legit DJ (not just hitting play from a laptop) great mixing. Had a minor glitch when the sound dropped out during the ceremony, but he had to setup 80ft. away and run his cable across a stream for our specific venue, wasn't a big deal. Would highly recommend Keith.

What we loved most about Ross and his crew is the background as a real club DJ so he understands how to transition which is always important to us. There's DJs, and there's DJs. Anybody can make a playlist and crossfade it so the songs fade together. Just about everyone can beat match and even transpose so songs are in the same key. The difference between a good DJ and a bad DJ is in the artistry. It comes down to how he combines the songs--knowing that one beat will really groove over another, or that one will transition into something that will blow your mind. He's listening, he's enjoying it, he's feeling it, he gets it. The week before we'd been at a wedding where the DJ dropped 'can't touch this' as the first time and followed that up with 'hamster dance'. Ross won't do that. Ross is a professional DJ, and a damn good one.

At our first meeting, he made us feel instantly comfortable by conveying his familiarity with our venue, and by walking us through a sample schedule for the evening's events. He played the songs we loved and adhered to our "Do Not Play List", even if songs from that list were requested. My husband and I had just started the wedding planning process and were feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to go about the monumental process of wedding planning. We met with Ross at Posh Coworking and he instantly made us feel at ease. He was relaxed and eager to share his ideas for our wedding. It was easy to see how much he loved music and his job. My husband and I left the meeting knowing we'd found our guy. Since we'd just begun the wedding planning process Ross was able to provide us with a list of photographers, florists, and caterers he'd worked. We actually found our florist through Ross. This guy is connected and is a great source for vendor referrals. The day of our wedding, Ross arrived early to set up. He was able to provide a wireless lapel microphone for our officiant. Thank god she didn't have to shove a giant microphone in our faces for the vows. Ross also set up a microphone for our cello player. He provided the amplification for our ceremony and then played a favorite song of ours as our recessional music. Ross's knowledge of music is extensive. We were able to set up a "must play" song list on his music database on his website. We were also able to select a list of songs we did not want played. Listen, the electric slide does not belong at every wedding. Through talking with us in person and reviewing our list of songs on his interactive website, Ross was able to get a feel for us as a couple and came up with an amazing playlist. He's like a living and breathing Spotify. We had such an awesome dance party. Ross clearly enjoys a good live crowd. He was able to see what got everyone up and dancing and his song selections met the crowd's expectations. It takes a gifted DJ to read a crowd. He uses old school mixers and turn tables with his computer, which makes for a fun experience. Beats a lame DJ who just uses a preset playlist on iTunes any day. Ross also provided us with wireless LED lights which he expertly set up to light our dance floor and reception space. If you're looking for an awesomely laid back DJ who can rock a suit and a pair of Chucks while getting the crowd dancing, Ross is your guy. Give him a call, you won't be disappointed!

He does a very good job of reading the crowd and adjusting songs as needed to keep people dancing, or to slow things down for a break. The icing on the cake for us was that he also provides an MP3 of the entire reception (including toasts), a nice touch that both my wife and I appreciated since the whole evening went by in a blur.

Having been a part of this experience my husband and I decided to go ahead and book extra time with them for our wedding. We had no regrets. The website was easy to use and LNF followed my play/don't play list to the T. Though incredibly sick for my entire wedding I found myself pulled to dance floor simply because LNF seemed to know every favorite song I have ever had in my life. I found myself unable to leave the dance floor as every song was a "must dance to this" song. I have never seen my husband dance so much in the 7 years I have known him. I have recommend LNF to every bride I know. Even still, more than a year after the wedding, I have people tell me it was the best they have ever attended. That is due, in large part, to Ross and his wife with LNF.

We wanted our music to be unique and memorable, and Ross helped us achieve this goal. Laura did a great job keeping things on track and making announcements throughout the night. Ross even took the time to find the specific version of the song I wanted for the Father/Daughter dance. After the wedding, Ross and Laura compiled a mp3 of all the music that was played. What I did not know was that my dads toast and the groomsmen's karaoke version of "You've Lost that Loving Feeling" would also be on that mp3. Best surprise ever! I would highly recommend Look No Further Entertainment to anyone who wants to have a professional club DJ providing wonderful music and a great party for their wedding!

Ross was always right on task with meetings, helping me with the online tools to choose my songs, ADDED songs to the list for my special Scottish bagpipe selections, and was able to adjust my bridal entry music to the EXACT length (no awkward waiting around at the end of the altar). He listened to every detail I was concerned about and made sure everything was just as I had pictured it. He has a HUGE selection of music, and you can certainly add your own or he will find it for you. He has lists of suggestions, too, for when you just can't get your bridal brain around what song "should we" or "should we not" play, dinner selections, prelude, etc. He let us be in total control of our selections. And some of our song choices were way out there, but he made it happen! We also received a complete copy of our Wedding Music ready to play over and over again anytime we choose. His equipment and set up is very professional and the highest quality. He worked so well with our venue and was able to set up with ease, despite two different locations we needed perfect sound. It was just perfect. Laura was my day of coordinator, in addition to her DJ duties. I cannot express my gratitude and appreciation for all the hard work she did on getting things set up. I had a ton of bridesmaids/jr. bridesmaids, but not many helpers. If it weren't for Laura, I would not have had any flowers arranged, the aisle decorated, the centerpieces perfectly set, the additional decor, guestbook table, memory table, or FOOD! She made sure my husband and I got something to eat at the beginning of dinner so we could have lots of energy to enjoy our guests. So thankful! She told me in our first meeting that she wanted me to do NOTHING on the day of the wedding, except enjoy it. And she made sure that was a reality on my big day. She made sure we were all lined up, on time (mostly! but that was our fault!), and ready to head down the aisle - ALL 22 of us!!! She and Ross coordinated the music and movement down the aisle like MAGIC! She is one multi-tasking, flower arranging, organizing, schedule stickler, beautifier of a coordinator! GET HER BOOKED NOW! I really cannot express my gratitude for these two. They absolutely saved the day at my wedding and I would recommend them to ANYONE! WE LOVE LOOK NO FURTHER ENTERTAINMENT!!! BOOK THEM NOW!!!

We had a five hour reception which is definitely on the longer end and when it ended at midnight, we still had almost all of our guests out on the dance floor having a great time. He knows exactly how to gauge the crowd's interest in songs and create the right flow to build into an awesome party. My husband and I literally didn't sit down the entire evening and most of our guests didn't either - not just the young guests but all of our older family members/friends too! Everyone had an amazing time. I got so many compliments on his DJing including from my dad who is still raving about him to all of his business partners. Laura does a great job keeping the evening going and managing the MCing. They are definitely not the typical 'lame wedding DJs' but a team that I want to hire for every event that I have! And they are very reasonably priced. I had originally looked into hiring a band because I thought they would create the best dance party but they were too expensive but I'm so glad I went with Ross and Laura because they totally created our dream dance party and were a steal. I would highly recommend them to anyone if you want to have the best dancing of any wedding you've ever been to!
