Our venue coordinator suggested working with Jurek Schreiner, and we are very happy we made the choice to have him has our wedding photographer. Jurek’s level of detail in his prep work alone told us he was serious about making sure our photos would come out exactly how we wanted them to be. Jurek truly made us feel like the experience was very personalized – he made sure that every little detail that mattered to us was photographed. Jurek is one of a kind! He really has passion for photography and for his clients. He was very responsive the entire process and went above and beyond to ensure that our photo's were what we wanted. We knew after the engagement session (included in your package) that we made the right choice. He takes time to understand the relationships between you and your guests and ensures he takes the shots that you truly will want. The time put in and his pure passion speak to the talent he has in his craft. He photographed the details and the small things you probably won't remember but you will want to look back on and remember. Jurek is the sweetest, most creative, professional, funny, and overall brilliant photographer you could ever have. When I searched for photographers, I didn't want the boring standard wedding photos. I wanted something that was almost like artwork. When we looked through Jurek's portfolio, we said "this is it!" Jurek is edgy and fun, and makes your pictures so much more meaningful with his creativity, talent, and eye for a good shot. When we met Jurek, we fell even more in love with him. First of all, he is one of the nicest and genuine people you will ever meet. And second, he's so open to ideas and supportive of his clients. We told him that we wanted to do our engagement shoot at a CROSSFIT GYM!!! Any other photographer would have said "maybe you should think of something else". Jurek was excited about it, and enjoyed the fact that he could get a little edgy with the photos. And our engagement shoot ended up being really fun and the photos were better than I imagined. On the day of the wedding, Jurek was on our team. He was such a support system. He didn't have to ask me what I wanted or where I wanted, he saw the good shots and he took them. He was everywhere and caught every moment! I've been in other weddings, and no one compares to Jurek's talent and abilities. To top everything off, I got my wedding photos within a few weeks and he hand delivered them in a beautiful box to our door. He thanked us in person and gave us our wedding photos. What photographer does that?! We were actually sad to see him drive away because he made such an impact on our wedding and he definitely made a mark in our hearts. There is a reason everyone we asked recommended Jurek as the photographer for our wedding in Gloucester, and we couldn't be happier we were able to snag him. My fiance and I are getting married this summer, but we have worked closely with Jurek in the months since our engagement and could not be more excited to be working with him. From the very first time I met Jurek, I knew that he was the exact type of photographer I wanted for my wedding. He was so kind and genuine, and focused on people as people, not just clients, which meant a lot to me. Jurek is extremely easy to communicate with, and has been very quick to respond to my countless emails and questions. Jurek was very proactive in setting up our engagement shoot, and was flexible with our schedules and timing. At first, my fiance and I were uncomfortable and nervous to be in front of the camera at, but within 5 minutes, the three of us were laughing and having a great time. Jurek was able make someone like me not only comfortable in front of the camera, but actually enjoy it! The photos turned out better than I could of ever imagined. My heart is so happy every time I look at them, knowing that Jurek was able to capture us and how happy we are. I've had countless people compliment the photos and how lovely they are. All of the photos had a wonderful sense of being natural and real, yet at the same time beautiful and artistic. Jurek's balance of professionalism and genuine kindness makes us feel so thankful that we have him as our photographer, and can't wait to have him there for our big day!

Look of Joy Photography is fantastic! When our original photographer was injured and unable to shoot our wedding, Jurek jumped in with a week's notice. Our wedding was a rustic one and Jurek didn't skip a beat as he ran around our wooded venue taking shots of us on land, on boats, and grubbing down as we feasted and enjoyed every minute of the afternoon and evening. We can't recommend Jurek and Look of Joy Photography enough!

I don’t even think there are words to describe how thrilled we are with our wedding photos from Look of Joy Photography. Jurek was amazing to work with! His calming presence and work ethic kept this control freak bride stress free on the big day. He captured every important moment of the day from such a beautiful perspective (that we are still in awe of now two years later!) and did so in a manor that was not disruptive to any part of the wedding or celebration. Our guests are still talking about how nice it was to be at an “unplugged wedding,” an idea that Jurek suggested to us, and many of them are now requesting it at their own weddings. After the wedding Jurek was quick to get us some sneak peeks of our photos, and we received the rest of the package just a short while later. He checked in with us throughout the planning process (both before and after the wedding) and even reached out to wish us a happy 1st anniversary. He gives you the type of personalized attention that is a rare find these days. We ordered our wedding album a few months after our wedding, and Jurek was so patient with us and created a beautiful memento that we love to have out on display. While we do not currently live in Massachusetts, we will definitely be contacting Jurek the next time we do portraits-he is well worth the four-hour drive for us!
