Working with Christen was an absolute dream! I could not recommend Look West Events enough! One of the best parts of working with her, was that she really made sure that ALL of our hard work came to life on our wedding day! I booked Christen as a 90 day coordinator for my wedding and both she and her assistant were amazing! I was able to reach out to Christen with questions throughout the planning process and she always responded promptly. She gave great advice and vendor recommendations. She also helped with signs and table numbers for our wedding day, which was such an appreciated plus. Christen was my wedding planner in October and it was easily one of the best decisions I made for the wedding. She is enthusiastic from the get go, is very honest about things when you need to hear it, and is very well organized. I seriously don’t know how people go through a wedding without a planner (and not lose some hairs)! She is your personal hype woman and knows when to keep you on track. The planning phase with Christen was so thorough and easy with how she conducts things. She thinks of everything, and every minute. Seriously, you will get an itinerary down to the exact minute even if it’s 2-5 minute items. She also creates the family shot list to make it easy (my least favorite part which went quick), a pack list for you, and she will also bring her own supplies just in case like a steamer, safety pins, etc. Our wedding day went so smoothly, and when there were hiccups (that weren’t of her fault but due to some of my family members), Christen always let us be in control of the final say because she knows it’s our wedding day and she will delegate and execute as necessary. She is everywhere at the same time but also there by your side when you need her. I really got to enjoy every single moment happy and soaking in every moment from my wedding day because of Christen. I don't know if we can ever thank Christen and her Look West Events team enough for all they did for us! As an out-of-town couple, we needed someone to help us manage everything from afar. I was running into a brick wall trying to plan our elopement in Marfa, TX. Finding a venue, officiant, photographer etc. Then I remembered my friend Christen at Look West. Christen and I worked together in a previous life and she had since left to become a wedding planner. We talked and within days she had a list of photographers, restaurants, etc complied. Christen was absolutely essential to the success of our event! We were one of the many couples that had to reschedule due to COVID and Christen was right there with us every step of the way. We did month of coordination but with delays and rescheduling we ended up working with Christen for a little over a year. We felt supported from the very beginning and thanks to Christen being very communicative we always felt like we were all on the same page. Her experience and expertise helped us make a number of key decisions that led to a perfect day. One example is her telling us the hair and makeup timeline we had was unrealistic and we should consider bringing on assistants; she was right because even with the extra help we ran a little bit over! Christen has probably the deepest knowledge there is when it comes to planning a wedding. Aside from being an incredible HUMAN, she made sure we only worked with the most incredible vendors. Got a budget in mind? She'll keep to it. Your vision? She's on it. We fell into the category of "COVID couple" - and planning a wedding twice (or in our case, thrice) over, after several venue cancellations, I don't think I could have done it without her. She saved my sanity, kept me on track to get everything done (I am a DIY'er of sorts and had many-many-many projects) -- or she did them herself -- and made everything so easy. At the wedding, she was cool, calm, & collected. I never expected my wedding would come together so flawlessly. Christen made it so simple! I cannot express my gratitude enough to her!

I want to thank, Look West Events, for helping make my wedding day worry free. I have a difficult time letting someone else plan events for me (as my friends well know) so I knew that I would take the lead on my wedding plans. However, I also knew that I wanted to enjoy my day! So, I decided to use a day-of coordinator. I feel so lucky to have found Christen because I truly felt like she cares about my experience as much as I did. And I think that says a lot about her:) On my wedding day, between my photographer and my coordinator, I truly enjoyed myself and was able to soak up the day! Christen took the time to get to know me and what I wanted. She gave me excellent advice! From the first interaction to the last, I was heard...I was cared for. She checked in with me often and was patient with me and my busy schedule. On my wedding day, she brought me cookies, got us food, and made sure that everything was where it needed to be. Had I not made last minute changes AT THE RECEPTION, she would have made sure that everything went according to the timeline we created.lolololol Yep, I changed stuff up but she just went with it. She also made sure to get as much stuff packed up and back to my home at the end of the night so that we didn't have too much to do the next day...and THAT was truly appreciated. When I called her later the next day to ask where something was, she knew if was in the "orange" bag! She advised me every step of the way and was polite, friendly, organized, polished, and caring. Christen is such an amazing person overall. My husband and I have never planned this big of an event. After meeting a few wedding planners, we knew after meeting in person, Look West Events would be who we would enjoy working with. As hectic as our lives have been since barely moving here in May, Christen made sure we were up-to-date, scheduled vendor meetings which she attended, our one-on-one and "secret" meetings for a couple of surprises I had up my sleeve for my husband. Christen is definitely on it. Each vendor we hired had the same feedback as well! We are so happy and grateful we took a chance including her in our journey. Vendors? Oh man...she has great recommendations! I believe most of the vendors we hired were ones she recommended and neither of them disappointed us. But be prepared for many meetings, which is well worth it! She even included our Old Man Rams (13 y.o. pup) from the start. No other wedding planner remembered him being a part of our wedding. I will recommend Christen to everyone I know. She went truly above and beyond to make my wedding special. Every time I turned around she was there fixing something! I was the bride and I had a completely stress-free wedding day, thanks to her. She took care of everything and is simply AMAZING at her job. She is passionate and works so smoothly with vendors.
