Our love for creating wedding films began nearly 5 years ago, when we decided to combine our passion for filmmaking with our enthusiasm for love stories. And from this blossomed a breathtaking adventure of the early morning jitters, hearts filled with butterflies, and dancing the night away. We are thankful enough to do what we love for a living.

se I didn’t want the extra spotlight on me- but I am so thrilled that I changed my mind. Brad made the process feel extremely comfortable and I did not feel self-conscious for one moment. He had the perfect balance between providing guidance when needed and capturing candid shots. Watching the footage back certainly brought on a lot of happy tears. He did the perfect job capturing our special day, and I am so happy to be able to have our memories out to video to watch for years to come. ith loved ones who couldn’t make it to the wedding, and they said watching it made them feel like they were there. Throughout the planning process, Brad always offered quick and extremely thoughtful responses to every question we brought up and he shared great ideas we hadn’t even considered (drone shots of the venue came out beautifully!). He really cared about understanding our vision for the film and the film he created was better than either of us could have imagined. His calming presence was a welcome addition on the day of, when he seamlessly captured all the big and small moments from getting ready, to the ceremony, and our reception. Not generally a review guy, but here goes.
The scenario - engagement video, complete surprise for the bride, public venue, and musician in attendance.

gs was asked to video the proposal between myself and my Japanese bride to be. Due to covid, we were unable to undergo our planned trip to Japan to which I was going to use to propose. I wanted her family in Japan to feel a part of the day, and not just the obligatory parental consent FaceTime (can’t ask in person due to covid).
Brad responded quickly and in a phone call I detailed my thoughts. I asked for a less polished, raw take on the days event. The musician and Brad were to look as if they were shooting a music video, or a public marketing piece for the venue. In my experience, creative types are less apt to listen to what you want and more keen to create a masterpiece in their own vision. Something they can stamp their name on and use as self promotion. And yes, as a Chef, I am fully aware of these issues amongst creative types.
In a phrase - Brad nailed it. The need for secrecy, and obtaining a microphone was handled well, the placement of multiple cameras was spot on, the subtle ‘leaf’ as where to stand, and capturing the reactions of attendees. He worked with the musician to capture the piece wonderfully, and was quick in getting a final piece to review.
The editing was good, and the final product was exactly what I was looking for to send to Japan, and my fiancée was also impressed and overwhelmed at what Brad had captured.
But that was not the end of it, Brad went one step further and researched a translator that he could work with for video subtitles for the family who spoke little English.
Would I recommend Brad - in a heartbeat. Wedding plans are a bit in coming, but would I hire for the wedding - absolutely.
