Lora Grady Photography

I have control issues. I have a hard time trusting that things will end up being the way that I 'pictured' them, so it took me FOREVER to find the right Photographer. I knew EXACTLY what I wanted (based on budget, style, composition, personality, etc.) and when I had contacted other Photographers to meet up--things just never really 'clicked' for me...until I called Lora. I am not sure what exactly it was that sold me on her, but I knew within 10 minutes of being on the phone that my search was over and that I wanted to be her best friend. When my husband and I met her face-to-face we were a little concerned over her being so young, but I think that now it plays to her advantage. She is more understanding of this generations' style and needs (boudoir, bridal exclusives, etc.) and is more tech savvy in the digital sense than ANY of the Photographers that I have met prior to her. Not only was she wonderful about staying in touch, but on the day-of...she was incredible! I had so many people ON MY WEDDING DAY compliment me on my wonderful photographer. She was so personable! Getting my family to pose for any 'decent' portrait is quite the task...but she did it and it looked fantastic---a perfect balance of candid and posed. We got our portraits back and we were blown away. I cannot say enough about this woman! She should really raise her prices by $2,000. At LEAST. I am a super thrifty person, but you should splurge on a wedding photographer of all things! You will have the pictures forever! Do you really think you will care too much about monogrammed napkins in 20 years? NO. Spend the money on something that matters.

First, let me start out by saying how lucky I am to have found such an amazing photographer to be a part of my wedding day and the events leading up to it. I worked in the bridal industry for 6 years and so when I got engaged, the first and most important thing that I wanted checked off my list was a photographer. I searched for a couple months and I couldn't seem to find the perfect match, until I stumbled on to Lora's page! From the moment we met, the process became nothing be fun and stress free! She really cared about my vision and I can't thank her enough for capturing such beautiful photos! Lora not only took pictures on our wedding day but the engagement and boudoir sessions as well. Her packages are well thought out and her prices are so reasonable! If you are lucky enough to have Lora as your wedding photographer, you will instantly fall in love for her quirkiness, passion and talent just as I did! Thank you Lora, josh and I can't thank you enough!

We booked a session with Lora for bridal portraits the week before our wedding so that we could do a first look and to take the pressure off of our wedding day. Lora was so helpful and responsive prior to our actual meeting in answering any questions we might have. She did a fabulous job choosing a location since we were visiting from out of town, and from the second we met her, she put us at ease. Her warm spirit, and ability to direct in a natural way lent to such natural photos. We nearly forgot she was there as she snapped away, and the photos turned out fabulous. She has a great eye for light and detail and would recommend her to anyone!

I serendipitously found Lora Grady and am SO happy I did. She was such a happy lady who made me feel SO SO beautiful and loved. I truly felt as though she was a life long friend. She was so professional and SO talented. I can honestly say that her gift is capturing special moments through the lens of a camera. She really took time to get to know my husband and I and it is apparent throughout the thousands of pictures she took. We couldn't be more happy with the outcome of our photo and just thank Lora for all of her time and efforts on our special day. We couldn't imagine a better photographer to work with. Not only is Lora an amazing photographer but she's an amazing woman! She is such a kind and caring person. During our consultation I explained to her everything I wanted and she definitely delivered! I could not have asked for a better photographer. You can't go wrong with her, she makes magic! I just love Lora and I'm always going to look forward shooting with her.

Lora is absolutely amazing! We had engagements, bridals, ceremony, and reception photographed and can honestly say we couldn't have picked someone better to capture every little detail so perfectly of our special day! I loved that we were able to laugh and enjoy the sessions, she made things very relaxed and fun. Absolutely would have her do pictures for us again.

Words cannot express how much I loved having Lora Grady as my photographer. Not only were her photography skills immaculate and professional, but her pricing was exceptional (2 engagement sessions and the entire wedding day!). First of all, Lora Grady is talented. She knows just how to catch the most beautiful moments. Secondly, Lora Grady Photography is flexible. From past experience with other photographers, I expected Lora to be set in her ways, but she welcomes your own unique vision and encourages you to set the tone for the session. Third of all, she is so much fun and patient. From the moment you meet her, you want to be her best friend. She makes you feel comfortable and only wants what's best for you. When I think back on my wedding day, all I can remember is good things. One of those reasons is because my photographer put my mind at ease. Honestly, one of my greatest fears was that my family would get annoyed of a long photography session in the hot sun, but Lora knew just how to handle everything. She was such a good sport and made sure that everyone was happy. Another fear of mine was how the pictures would turn out. When she showed us our wedding pictures, I was so happy I wanted to cry. I swear Lora Grady has magical powers, because every picture was absolutely perfect. When I show my wedding photos to friends and strangers, they always "ooh" and "aww" over them and ask who the talented photographer was. I love telling them about Lora Grady Photography because I loved my experience and I most definitely loved the quality of my photos. Lora Grady Photography is better than good, it is incredible.

I have worked with Lora on many occasions. We have had mutual clients (she is the photographer and I am a hairstylist and makeup artist) and had many other opportunities to work closely. Not only have I worked with her but she took my maternity pictures and she made me and my husband look so, so good. She is always so professional but fun. She knows how to bring out the best of each of her clients, male and female alike. She loves photography and it is her passion. You can see that by how incredible all of her photos are. She doesn't just do half of her best, she always gives it her all. If you choose her to photograph any occasion, you will be so happy with the results.

I had Lora capture anniversary photos for my husband and myself last year. Not only was she beyond friendly and professional, but she was creative and so much fun to work with! I was thrilled when I saw the photos for the first time and instantly fell in love! After working with Lora I wish I could get married all over again and have her photograph my wedding! That is how much I love her work! Her style is whimsical, earthy and full of light. My favorite aspect about Lora's work is that she is always able to capture beautiful bursts of sun flare in images that really warm up a photograph and bring it to life! If you are looking for a wedding or lifestyle photographer, look no further, Lora is your girl!

Lora is hands down one of the most talented photographers I've worked with. Not only did she do an amazing job on our bridals, engagements and wedding photos, she was easy to work with and so fun. Her ability to take control and keep everyone organized is phenomenal. I have to be completely honest, I don't think our wedding day would have been as amazing if she wasn't there capturing every moment (we loved Lora so much, it only felt natural she came to lunch with us after we got married. I don't know ANYONE else that can say that about their photographer). Lora cares so much about her clients and their happiness. Her work is unique, flawless and catered to every clients wants and needs. Seattle is beyond lucky to have her. I cannot rave about her enough, I definitely consider myself blessed to have met a truly talented and amazing woman. Lora doesn't just photograph your wedding. She creates an experience. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their photographer!

Being someone who dabbled in photography myself, I was SO picky in deciding who I wanted as my photographer for my wedding. When I found Lora Grady's website, I was immediately impressed because all of her work is so consistent in lighting and style- - romantic & whimsical & bright. I knew that in hiring her, I'd get what I see. Lora was quick to reply to my emails and took a personal interest in me and my fiance right away! She was professional & took care of business, but is so personable and genuine - I felt like we were friends right away. Lora really is refreshing! She is also very organized, prompt, and attentive to detail, which is wanted in the wedding prep process! Shooting with her was a blast - she's funny, delightful, & made us at ease in front of the camera. The woman knows what she's doing too - our pictures are stunning and they flood albums and frames in our home. Lora is still in touch with us today and I will never regret my decision or my dollars spent. In fact, we have since had her do further work for us. Lora Grady Photography is definitely worth it!

Lora was amazing from day one--wonderful to work with, encouraging, knowledgeable, flexible, talented, kind and she delivered great photos! She was definitely worth the money we spent. We have beautiful memories of our wedding day.

There are photographers who will do it for less, but they're not nearly as good and their photos come out looking average. I was a little nervous at first but it was definitely worth paying for pictures that I will look at forever. My photos have been phenomenal. They really catch the feeling of my wedding day in such a way that I can remember it like I'm there right now. She also did our engagement photos and those captured my husband's unique relationship with me - we didn't look like every other couple. She captured our personalities.

We had our photography cancel on us very last minute and Lora was nice enough to switch around her schedule so that she could take our pictures in the other photographers place for our bridal shots. Lora was very friendly and makes you feel very comfortable while she takes pictures and gives great feedback on how the pictures are turning out. We would recommend her to anyone! Great quality pictures and a great price!
