Brides/Grooms planning in a post-COVID world... I am here to tell you that if things do not go as planned, you can trust that Loreto will do right by you. She is the type of person you want in your corner. Our original wedding date was 12/23/21, but the venue canceled less than 48 hours before due to the surge of cases in NYC. To say that Loreto was compassionate throughout the whole ordeal would be an understatement. She was empathetic, flexible, and so very human. She was a dream to reschedule with and made it her priority to lessen the impact on us as we were faced with reimagining our wedding day. It was a kindness that we will never forget. We spent a long time looking for a photographer. As soon as we saw her portfolio we knew it had to be her. On the day of she was so comfortable to be around. So far I've only seen the preview album and I am BLOWN AWAY! My husband and I are both uncomfortable in front of the camera, and we also are not fans of anything traditional or overly staged. She really brought out and captured the best in us. We look natural, like ourselves. Throughout the day she was attuned to how I was feeling and knew what I wanted vs what I could do without because of her diligent preparation ahead of time. When you are being pulled in many different directions and can't effectively communicate in the moment, this is a quality you will be grateful for! She also guided us through the process of creating a day-of schedule that would best suite our needs. I've been to many weddings where the photographers seem very present, pulling the bride/groom away in intervals. When I look back on my wedding day all I can remember is being fully present and immersed in feelings of joy for having married my person and being surrounded by our people from near and far. I have Loreto to thank for that! The experience she provides and the photos you will have to show for it are well worth the investment. TL;DR: Loreto was the crown jewel of our wedding day team! She is the best out there, don't miss the opportunity to have her photograph your wedding day.

Loreto is truly so talented and amazing to work with. We had her do our engagement photos as well as our wedding and couldn't be happier with the photos. She really has an eye for capturing the best moments. Her and her colleague Stephanie worked our wedding and were so attentive and personable. Couldn't recommend Loreto Caceres photography enough!

How much time do y'all have? I have so much to say about Loreto, but will try to keep it short! It's hard to even put into words how talented Loreto is. I'm not much of a reviewer, but I needed to say how absolutely lucky I was to be able to work with her. I had to change my wedding 4 times (covid), and each time, I made sure Loreto was available before I booked. And I'm so happy I did - her work is beyond amazing. I've only gotten a preview of pics from my wedding day so far, and I'm in complete awe. She made me feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera which isn't an easy feeling for me. She gives great direction, tells you when she likes something that you're doing or to roll your shoulders back if you're a huncher (like me). The angles she captures, the candidness... all breathtakingly beautiful. I'm no model, but the pictures she takes certainly make you feel that way. My husband who is a tough critic also thought she was the absolute best "Loreto is awesome". We had a small ceremony in 2020 and Loreto photographed for us there and again for our reception in 2021. I wish I could do a third celebration just to have her by my side one more time. Probably going to put up a gallery wall of wedding pics in my house... too much? TBD. She's the GOAT. Plain and simple.

You will be blown away by the photos you'll receive from Loreto. I spent hours combing through her galleries prior to signing our contract, and I knew our memories would be in expert hands, but I didn't anticipate how she would leave us speechless when we finally received ours. Beyond speechless, we were actually crying. She captured everything, but used natural light to bring out the contrast of details and highlighted shadows to bring such emotion into the photographs. I don't even know where to begin when it comes to printing out photos for our home - there are actually too many to choose from. Some of them are so dramatic, they'll be framed like art in our home. One of the best decisions my wedding planner (Emlan Events) and I made was bringing Loreto onto our team. I am forever grateful that I'll have these photographs to look at for the rest of our lives.

You definitely want to book Loreto for your next event! She was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. Very responsive and easy, understood our vision for photos from the get go and was very patient/helpful with us along the way (we were unaware of how weddings worked!) On our wedding day she kept photos moving smoothly, gave great direction and worked so well wrangling our whole wedding party and family. Definitely highly recommend her to everyone!

I work in the creative industry, so I was very particular about photography for our wedding. Not only are her images stunning, but she makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful on the big day. Loreto is a beyond talented photographer- her style was exactly what my husband and I were looking for for our NYC wedding. Our photos look like they came from a Vogue shoot. They are stunningly beautiful, very natural/non-posed, with an editorial perspective. She also did a good balance of black & white and color, and her editing is very natural. I couldn't be happier with how they turned out, and I've had all of my friends and coworkers from the fashion industry ask for her information. On a personal level, Loreto was so easy to work with, I would have invited her to my wedding as a guest by the time we were done working together. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her as a bride because I was asking her questions like- when do I hold my bouquet in photos? When do I wear my veil? Can you help drape my train? She was the personal bridal stylist that I didn't know I needed. Also her direction that she gives during shooting is so easy to follow and again so natural. Loreto is the best there is!

We are so happy with the images that Loreto captured for our City Hall wedding and dinner party reception. We could tell that she has tons of experience with the City Hall process which was great because it gave us some peace of mind and allowed us to relax and enjoy our families. Her personality vibed well with us as a couple as well as our family, everyone really enjoy having her part of the group. She was also able to help manage a large group of people in a seamless way and get great images of the group! Loreto really understood the images we wanted to capture and even though it was freezing she was amazing and captured our day perfectly. At our dinner party reception, it was like she wasn't even there, she was able to captured amazing moments and her documentary style really shined! She is super professional and was on time with the preview images and the whole gallery which we really appreciated. She also sent us a USB with all the images which we loved! We would hire Loreto again in a heartbeat!

Beyond happy with our wedding pictures! Loreto was so professional leading up to and during the event. She listened to our needs and remembered every single request we had. I'd also like to point out that she vibed so well with my videographer- which is really important for the flow of your day. Her and her assistant found a way to capture the sweetest candid moments throughout the night without even knowing they were there. The quality of work is over the top and if you're a fan of black and white photos like I am, you'll love Loreto!

Loreto was so great to work with! My husband and I are both based in LA, but got married in NJ, so we actually didn't meet her until the day of our wedding, but we both felt so comfortable around her. The two most important requirements we had for a photographer was to feel like we would get along well and that it would almost feel like they weren't there, but still capturing all of the best candid moments. Loreto did all of that and more! She captured our day so beautifully, we are still getting compliments on our photos. She was so easy going and easy to work with. She was flexible with our time difference and using Facetime to chat in advance. And she gave us gave us good direction day of (what do I do with my hands?? ha). I would highly recommend Loreto for your wedding photography!

We were married in November 2019 in Brooklyn and Loreto was just wonderful. Met with us before the wedding, and clearly heard us out. Priced very reasonably, so far as we could tell. She and her assistant, Chris, had wonderful bedside manners on the day-of, and made sure we captured the photos we all knew we wanted but was never an intrusion or imposition. As for the photos themselves, we thought they turned out spectacularly. Would recommend to anyone.

Where can I start? Loreto was worth every penny and then some! From our first meeting with her through the end of the wedding she was nothing short of amazing. I was impressed with her organization (I'm big on that!) as creatives can be a little unorganized. She kept up with all of my questions, was patient with my requests and made everyone feel at ease. We used her for our engagement photos as well, which are magazine worthy and were actually featured by Black Bride and Munaluchi Bridal online. The initial sampling of our wedding photos are also out of this world! Loreto has a way of capturing the moment in a way where you can feel the energy and emotion through the photo. It's not overly posed, but is creatively composed, which I absolutely love.

STILL reveling in our wedding photos months later! Let me just say, there is NO ONE better than Loreto to entrust in photographing a day as monumental as your wedding! My husband and I are beyond thankful to her for capturing, so genuinely, our most special day. The photos she delivered are absolutely stunning and better than anything we ever could’ve imagined... even considering the months and months I had been stalking, I mean, following Loreto’s work online and fawning over it. Truly, what’s so special about Loreto that we love and what really sets her apart from the sea of talented wedding photogs out there are a few things: From my day 1 outreach to today, post-wedding, Loreto has consistently been the most responsive, professional, timely, organized Creative I’ve ever known! She is highly collaborative and listens honestly to your input on how you envision your day’s photos, your concerns, insecurities, etc. She is, also, extremely helpful in lending her advice and pro opinions. Loreto genuinely wants to be on the same page with you while ensuring throughout the process that you are happy and comfortable. Off the bat, her effortless, quiet confidence will put you at ease and make it clear that she really knows her stuff! Both my husband and I are a bit awkward in front of the camera lens but Loreto’s fly-on-the-wall approach to how she photographs couples/weddings, in their true element, really drew out some precious moments between us newlyweds and overall. It all just felt so natural, having Loreto there doing her thing, even the more “formal” family portrait shots were not at all “pose-y”. Another thing worth mentioning about Loreto is something that goes far beyond her out-of-this world talent and passion for her craft- it’s, simply, her! She is the realest chick you’ll ever meet, she is cool and kind and fun and authentic. She’s the kind of girl who you feel like you’ve known forever and can totally just be yourself with. She really goes above and beyond to be flexible to your wants and needs, and nothing with her feels transactional but rather- you can actually feel the heart that goes into everything surrounding her work. She is, simply put, AMAZING. We only wanted to work with nice people/vendors for our wedding and she’s just that. Her talent and work, without a question, speaks for itself! Hands down, with Loreto steering the process, the entire experience was so seamless and stress-free! One of the best choices we made in our wedding planning... and we have the pics to prove it!!! Enlisting her should be a NO BRAINER. Do it! You don’t regret it for a second, I can promise you.

Loreto is amazing! From our first contact up until the wedding day she exuded confident, kind and smooth vibes. She was lovely to work with and made the whole process so enjoyable. Loreto was one of the first vendors we booked, and I was so excited to work with her from the start! She is so easygoing, yet highly professional. She guides, gives advice, and makes you feel comfortable. From the first hug, I knew she was the photographer for us. Her warmth really helps out camera shy people like myself and my husband feel more at ease. Her direction and ideas were great, her communication is excellent, and the photos are just stunning! We could not even come close to saying enough great things about Loreto, her photos are absolutely amazing! Working with Loreto prior to the wedding was extremely easy. Anytime we had a question or needed to meet with her, she happily obliged. She was extremely patient and had great input when compiling a shot list. It’s an overwhelming time and having her help really made a huge difference. The day of the wedding Loreto really did a great job making everyone feel comfortable and captured truly great moments that we still laugh at looking back at them today. You could tell she did her homework because places that we didn’t think/know of that were in the area of our photos she led us to for a few extra shots that came out beautiful. We are really so glad that Loreto was our photographer and know that these photos are something we will cherish for a very long time. Loreto is simply amazing! My husband and I had consultations with several different photographers in the beginning of our search, and none of them seemed to feel right. When we first met with Loreto, though, we knew immediately that she was perfect for the job. She was warm and kind, and always professional and respectful. She asked us questions about our style and our relationship and really listened. It was evident that she works hard to get to know each couple prior to working with them, in order to develop a finished product that they are happy with. We also loved her style after viewing her work. Overall, she prefers to capture human emotion as it occurs naturally in the moment, rather than forcing it for photographs. The most important thing of all to us though was that she made us feel comfortable. She even happily agreed to travel to our favorite spot in upstate New York to do our engagement shoot last fall, on what ended up being one of the coldest days of the year. She was such a trooper! All day Loreto continued to check in and kept us laughing. She maintains communication prior to the wedding day, and fields any questions you have in a timely manner. When our big day finally came, Loreto blended right in with our family and friends, and again, continuously checked in to make sure we were feeling okay. She has this energy about her that makes you feel instantly calm, and several times throughout the day, whenever I began to feel anxious, Loreto would somehow make me smile and feel at ease again. Everyone in our wedding party raved about her and how wonderful she was. We just received our wedding photos and are blown away. My father-in-law, who enjoys taking photos himself as a hobby, even said that they were the "best photographs he has ever seen in his life." Loreto was an absolutely brilliant wedding photographer. Her photos are so incredible and captured in such a unique style - we were completely blown away by them, the perfect reminder of our wedding day! Loreto was the most amazing photographer we could have imagined. I fell in love with her images online, and when we met up to discuss our vision, Loreto was just so laid back and confident that I immediately knew we had to have her photograph our wedding. She was very professional, early to every meeting, and responsive to our concerns. When the day before, the weather forecast showed 100% rain for our wedding day, she hopped on the phone with me and walked through a Plan B. She arrived early the day of the wedding to scope out new spots to shoot in the rain. Most importantly, Loreto has a great eye and her work is stunning. Our photographs are absolutely beautiful and we have gotten far-reaching compliments on our photos from people we don’t even know (friends of friends). When I saw the photos of our guests faces during the speeches and ceremony, I was just blown away. I am extremely picky, and I had trouble narrowing down the photos to be included in our album because I loved so many of them. We’re so grateful to Loreto for capturing our day. Can’t recommend her enough!

As we started our search, we were frustrated that we couldn't find a photographer who could capture the mix of what we were looking for -- those sweet candid moments, the posed family portraits to treasure and share, and the artistry to bring to life our wedding day when we opted not to do videography -- all while feeling authentic to the moment and not over-the-top or too "instagram-y". After scouring the internet, we finally stumbled across Loreto's portfolio and felt like we hit the jackpot. Her work immediately made you feel something. We were attracted to the balance in her styles, all capturing every magical moment as a couple solidifies their partnership and with an artistic, documentarian feel. Our process connecting with Loreto was smooth and immediately put us at ease -- she was relatable, responsive, personable / laid back, flexible, and as we were speaking about our venues, plans, and story, you could just see her immediately brainstorming unique ways to bring our story to life. We opted to do a civil ceremony and then a marriage celebration six months apart, with no engagement session in between. We were nervous about having our first run be our official wedding day, but the experience and the photos could not have turned out better. They were all so full of love -- between my husband and me, between our families -- and we were so thankful to have had Loreto capture our family assembling in our living room, our first look, the windy trek to City Hall, and the sheer ecstasy of getting hitched! She put us at ease with posing, making sure we just acted like ourselves and she just captured the love and joy. Our wedding celebration in downtown NYC was even more magical -- she combined our love of the city with incredible backgrounds, cool juxtapositions, and hilarious dance-floor candids. She navigated our families really well, and went above-and-beyond to make us happy. As we move forward in our lives, we'll continue to turn to Loreto to capture those special moments in our life, and feel so lucky we found such a gem!

Loreto "gets it." Her photos were by far the most exciting we came across online and we were thrilled when she agreed to work with us. Our New Years Eve wedding and City Hall ceremony a couple of days before would not have gone nearly as smoothly without Loreto's knowledge of the civil ceremony process, adaptability to changing locations, and quick communication. Loreto's work speaks for itself. The number of compliments we've received about our photos is staggering (Seriously, I've never had so many random people Direct Message me on Instagram) She goes above and beyond. Loreto kept us at ease when almost every wedding snafu was thrown our way and stress was high. When the sub-zero temperatures made it impossible to get a lot of the outdoor shots planned, Loreto went to our location hours earlier and found a shop owner who agreed to let us use the space after closing. And these ended up being our favorite shots! Not to mention, she also recommended our DJ to us who was equally as awesome as well as manned our GIF photo booth. Loreto is a photo ninja. She has this uncanny ability to direct lots of moving parts and personalities while somehow remaining behind the scenes. Our photos are EPIC. From our portraits to our party photos, each is more gorgeous than the next. She captured not only our best sides but unexpected, beautiful, and intimate moments of friends and family. Loreto for president! I frequently find myself gushing about how amazing Loreto is to newly engaged friends, acquaintances, and now, apparently, strangers. I've never written an online review in my life but I also never imagined becoming such a fan of one of our wedding vendors. We can't thank (or recommend!) Loreto enough.

Amazing. Loreto was able to capture the little and big moments without you even knowing she's there! She has a photojournalistic eye and recreated the wedding for us with her vibrant photos. Nothing less than AMAZING!!! Literally, the best photographer to capture your special moment. From the moment I met Loreto I knew that I had made the right decision with our wedding photographer. She kept in touch with me for the weeks leading up to the wedding and not just by email but text and calls as well. We also shot our pre-wedding pictures with her and she was just a dream to work with. My fiance is not keen on having his pictures taken and he opened up so much to her because she is just that down to earth and special. I went through the wedding already and I know big companies are not what they seem, they lack personality and personal communication. Working with Loreto gives you her in totality. Loreto was an absolute joy to work with. I don't love being in front of the camera, and I felt entirely comfortable working with her every step of the way. She even offered to run down to a bodega to grab me dome mints and a Diet Coke, ha! Not to mention, the photos are absolutely beautiful, exactly what we wanted. She also managed to somehow be everywhere during the wedding and reception without being noticed, which led to some amazing candid shots of ourselves, our friends, and our families. Loreto is the most incredible wedding photographer, we cannot recommend her more highly! She was such a joy to work with throughout the process- and really felt more like a great friend than a hired photographer. Having a talented photographer was very important to us and what drew us to her work above others was her ability to capture candid emotions throughout the day. She has an incredible eye for editorial photographs that record the moment and tell a story without feeling overly staged or unnatural. Loreto did an engagement shoot with us prior to the wedding. It was great practice and she made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. We were so happy with those photographs and couldn't wait to see what she would do on our wedding day. Leading up to the wedding she was very organized, having us think through all of the shots we wanted on the day. On the wedding day she and her second shooter were amazing. They were not at all obtrusive and when it came to the few formal portraits they kept things moving along quickly and efficiently. Our entire family loved working with her. It was a bonus that she had shot a wedding at our venue before so she was familiar with the space and knew the shots she wanted. When we got the pictures back we were completely blown away. She had summed up the day perfectly and we couldn't be more pleased with our photographs. We highly recommend working with Loreto- she is a true talent!

I really enjoyed working with Loreto. My wedding was in the Hudson Valley back in 2016. It was really important for me to showcase not only the beauty of the venue grounds but the tiny moments that took place throughout the day. Loreto was able to capture all these just as I hoped for. Our portraits came out great, they were whimsical and looked like we were lost in a forest of greenery. On a business side, she has been very professional right from the proposal phase and has been very easy to work with before/after the event. I highly recommend working with her!

Absolutely amazing!!! Seriously the best wedding photographer ever. I knew from the moment I met with Loreto and saw her website that I wanted her to photograph my wedding. Aside from being a complete professional, she is extremely intuitive, and knew exactly what I wanted. She asked me every moment I wanted captured, but it didn't even make a difference, because she truly captured every moment beautifully! I never felt rushed and pressured or forced into taking pictures. She is also super sweet, and very easy to work with. My photos came out artistic, many of them are candid, and there are black and white photos as well which is exactly what I wanted. If you are looking for professional artistic wedding photos, she is incredible. I can't recommend her enough!!!

We were so lucky to have met Loreto at my best friends wedding. She was so stress free and great to work with!! She took her time and made sure she got all the best shots. I knew when it was my time to get married.... we wanted to work with her! We booked her for our engagement shoot and wedding. Our engagement shoot was in the city. We went to the high line, meatpacking district and couple other locations she had recommended around the area. She went above and beyond. The pictures came out perfect!! I knew that our wedding pictures were going to be amazing. Loreto made sure to visit our venue with us, so we could walk her around and review what we wanted and what her recommendations were. Overall fantastic experience and I would highly recommend her!!

We found Loreto through a recommendation of friends who were married two years before us. When I initially reached out to her, Loreto was traveling in Central America, but still kept in communication as much as possible. After sitting down with us at our apartment and discussing our vision (or lack thereof) we were really excited to work with her. A few months before the wedding Loreto met us upstate at our venue and walked through the property throwing ideas around. I felt really comfortable with her approach - she's definitely an artist and not a cookie cutter wedding photographer. I can honestly say the photography was one of the only elements of the wedding day I never felt worried about. Our wedding was small and Loreto captured the beauty and uniqueness of the day perfectly. I wish I had more reasons to work with her! Birthing photos?

Loreto came recommended to me by a friend. As soon as I looked on her website, I knew she was the photographer for us. Her pictures were breathtaking and unique, unlike the typical wedding shots I was seeing time and time again. Her prices were also very reasonable compared to many other photographers in the area. On our wedding day, she was professional but relaxed, which is exactly what you want from a vendor (no added stress needed!). We had to deal with the rain, but she took it in stride and rather than panicking about the shots or her camera, she continuously checked in to see if my husband and I were okay. Throughout the rest of the night, she was a fly on the wall, taking candid shots left and right (which is exactly what we wanted). I would suggest her to anyone. She is easy to work with, professional, and produces great work. You won't be disappointed!

It was a pleasure working with Loreto. She was nothing but professional. It seriously was a relief knowing she had everything under control especially when I was completely overwhelmed. She captured such remarkable pictures in the church, of my dog :) in a bow-tie, of my husband and I dancing and of our family. We loved working with Loreto for our Oct. 2015 wedding. Her photos were exactly what we wanted - they feel spontaneous and natural and she was able to capture so many special and intimate moments without being intrusive. We were nervous about hiring a photographer but Loreto was easily one of the best decisions we made and was well worth it! She is very professional, super nice and just a pleasure to work with. She not only arrived early to our venue on the day but also stayed a little late to make sure she got all the photos we discussed. She made us feel totally at ease and took such beautiful photos of us, all the little details of our day and amazing ones of our guests. Loreto was the perfect photographer for our wedding and reception at Congregation Beth Elohim and Brooklyn Society for Ethical Culture in Brooklyn. When we received the photos all of us (family and friends included), were amazed at how she managed to capture such great moments and be a completely unintrusive part of the wedding. We were drawn to Loreto’s photography for her wonderful candid shots, and she absolutely delivered on that. She always did a great job of making the posed photos seem natural. She is highly professional while entirely friendly, which we really appreciated. We can’t recommend Loreto more--we’re only sad that we don’t get to have photographs taken by her more often!

Loreto was my absolute favorite wedding vendor. We had a tiny wedding, with just our immediate family present (8 of us + the priest). We didn't skimp on anything though: full wedding gear, full Mass, a party bus, outdoor photos, a lunch, and topped it off with bowling. One person present only spoke Spanish, half of the folks don't often take pics, & my dad is a professional photog. Loreto handled all of this with ease and did an amazing job of capturing the close knit, fun, spirit of the day. There were multiple, lovely photos & intimate moments captured with everyone. She was a real pleasure to work with & once we shared the photos, people didn't feel left out because of how beautifully every precious moment was captured. I knew from her site I'd be pleased with the outcome, but particularly for the cost, the ease with which it all came together, and how even with how small our party was, she never once felt in the way, Loreto was a great pick. I got so many compliments on the photos and our family loved the quality of the albums as well. You can't go wrong with Loreto.

Loreto was a true professional and a joy to work with. For my (now) wife and I going into the wedding day the most nerve-racking part is the possibility that our expectations would not be met by one of our vendors. And with a role as pivotal as the photographer, those expectations are intensified tenfold. But, going in after meeting and speak to Loreto a few times we knew we were going to be taken care of. And Loreto did. She delivered in spades. Furthermore, she was as cool as cucumber during the wedding day which made us and our family feel at ease. Our wedding day was close to perfect and my wife and I keep saying "let's do it again". If we were to do it again -- we'd ask Loreto to come back and take some amazing photos for us.

Loreto did an amazing engagement shoot for me and my now-husband a couple of years back. She then did our wedding in Brooklyn at The Green Building, and then we called her back yet again later in the same year when we had our first baby! She is the ultimate professional but isn't stuffy and is a real joy to work with (i.e. no awkwardness, felt like she was an instant friend). I absolutely cherish all of her photos from our most special moments as a new family. I cannot recommend her enough.

Loreto photographed my wedding in March 2015. She and her assistant were an absolute pleasure to work with, we adore the images. Communicating with Loreto was always fast and easy. Her website portal to view images was incredibly user friendly. Since we paid for much of the wedding ourselves, we did not use some of other services she provides besides day-of shooting, but I have no doubt they are excellent. She really understood what my husband and I were looking for--natural light, more candid shots than posed photos, and a few family portraits. Loreto is an artist, first and foremost, and that truly comes through in her images. Her photos are thoughtful, intimate, vibrant, and gorgeous. A tremendous value for the level of work she provides. Can't recommend Loreto enough!

We got married outdoors in NYC last May and were very pleased with Loreto. Everything, including the cost, the professionalism, and the quality of the photos we got back, were fantastic. We really wanted photos of all the guests and not just posed shots, and she did a beautiful job of capturing sweet and candid moments among guests and family throughout the ceremony and reception. She was unobtrusive during the ceremony, and was able to move us quickly and painlessly through the wedding party and family shots. The photos themselves are beautifully done and we've gotten so many compliments - even our venue wanted to use them for promotional material! Would definitely recommend.

I can't say enough nice things about Loreto. We hired her more than a year before our wedding because, after seeing her pictures online, we knew she was exactly the photographer we wanted. We loved her natural, easygoing, but still sharp and beautiful images. She was extremely easy to work with -- professional and organized. And on the day of the wedding, she rolled with the punches, including unexpected traffic and my husband's large, chaotic family. The highest compliment I heard from our guests was, "I never even knew she was there" -- Loreto was just totally unobtrusive, yet always right when the best moments, both staged and candid, were occurring. The images turned out fabulously. I especially admire how she noticed great angles, light, shadows, and reflections. I highly recommend her to any couple looking for someone who has an untraditional, and thus exciting eye for wedding pictures. She really brings something special to her work.

I can't recommend Loreto strongly enough! She did such an amazing job taking photographs for our wedding. Our photographs are GORGEOUS. I had a very specific idea of what I wanted our photos to look like- Loreto was very open to this, listened to what we wanted, and delivered above and beyond what we asked for! We got married at the New York Botanical Garden- Loreto offered to visit the site with us in advance to scope out ideal places to shoot. In the end my husband and I weren't able to do this, but this did not stop Loreto from identifying the most beautiful locations in the very large gardens for our photos. On the day of the wedding she took charge of the photos but was never overbearing; she made sure we made the best use of the sunlight yet was respectful of our time. One of my most favorite parts of the wedding day was riding through the gardens in a golf cart with my husband and Loreto to find the most beautiful spaces to shoot. Loreto was also always very flexible, laid back and professional, and she was extremely responsive throughout the planning process. She had a skilled and specific vision and we trusted her completely. We were not disappointed!! I would recommend Loreto without any hesitation!!

Her style is prompt and ardent at taking pictures without being obtrusive or very noticeable at all. She was very good with direction and tailoring the types of pictures and how many pictures she took to our discretion. While taking the family photos, she moved quicker than any photographer we’ve ever watch work. We didn’t have much time as our schedule was thrown off due to rainshowers. Loreto moved us around and got the photos we needed in record time. This is after she walked with us through the rain. We decided to have the wedding party and guests walk from our ceremony to the reception - a 20 minute walk with a constant downpour. Loreto was with us the whole way and never worried once while snapping off pictures of us with our umbrellas walking through Brooklyn. She showed an incredible combination of timeliness and artistry, offering great direction when we needed it. Her flexibility, friendly demeanor and professionalism suited the spontaneous nature of our wedding perfectly.

Loreto is actually a friend of my husbands, who has shot a bunch of weddings that we have attended - so we knew we wanted to work with her right away. She has a very different approach that is natural and noninvasive - her work honestly speaks for itself. I tell everyone who i meet that is looking for a photographer to look at her website.
