Lori O'Toole is a delight to work with! She is very professional from the moment you meet the first time -- she'll go over her shooting style and bring several (gorgeously assemble...
d) photo albums for your perusal. She also genuinely tries to get to know you and your partner and the types of photos that are most important to you to capture on your big day. For example, we both have a very large number of family members, and it was important to us to get a lot of family photos. She somehow managed to get all permutations of our families that we had asked for by being calm and clear and still left plenty of time for our romantic photos.
Lori also clearly has a lot of experience not only with photography, but also handling anything unexpected that your wedding day might throw at you. For us, the groundskeeper at the garden where our ceremony was held accidentally locked us into the park. Before we found a way out, Lori was even willing to jump the fence with all of her equipment, which is true dedication.
And finally, her turnaround time on the photos was fast, about six weeks. We are absolutely thrilled at how our photos turned out!
"From the moment I met Lori, I knew she would make the photo sessions enjoyable," said the groom, who gets antsy when photographed. We loved working with Lori - she is so sweet and...
fun. Looking back on our photos is incredible - she captured irreplaceable moments and stunning beauty. They're the photos I dreamed of having, but even better! Lori adapted when we had the only rainstorm in June and still captured incredible shots at Skyline Country Club! She was so patient with my many questions and photo ideas. Lori had our photos back to us in 3 weeks, even before we returned from the honeymoon! Lori's joy is contagious and we were so glad to have her there on our special day.
Lori did our engagement photos for us in Tucson, AZ. She did an amazing job with our very spacey dog, getting him to look good for the photos as well. We loved how the photos turne...
d out: they are true to us, they are not overly photoshopped, and she really took the time to get the right shot. I highly recommend Lori for engagement photos or any family photo needs!
Lori photographed our wedding this past September. From the beginning she was very easy to get along with. They say you will spend more time with your photographer than some of you...
r guests, so you want to pick someone you are comfortable with. That was Lori for us! And her work speaks for its, her pictures are beautiful, classic, and timeless! I will literally spend years to come looking at these pictures and have already spent hours pouring over them. My family also thought Lori was very professional and LOVED our pictures. Our engagement shoot was a rainy, cloudy day and the photographs still came out so GORGEOUS! The week before the wedding, Lori called to just assure me she was ready for the wedding. As a very stressed out bride, I very much appreciated that! She is very responsive with email and overall everything you could want in a photographer. I highly recommend Lori to all couples!
We loved working with Lori! She photographed our wedding at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in April 2017. She was familiar with the venue already, which was fantastic. We're f...
rom out of state so we had several phone calls to discuss logistics beforehand, and she covered every possible scenario for planning the photos. On our wedding day she put us at ease and had us relaxed and smiling immediately. She's bubbly, funny, she adapts quickly to changing light and shifting group dynamics. Best of all the photos are STUNNING! It was an absolute pleasure to work with her and we are so happy with the pictures.
Lori is spectacular! She arrived exactly on time and was wonderful taking photos as we finished getting ready and was super easy to work with. My husband and I had such a great tim...
e with her during all of our photos and she took full advantage of the gorgeous venue. I highly highly recommend her and cannot wait to see the photos!

day. The turn around time was very quick, and we couldn't be happier.
We hired Lori for our May wedding in Tucson. During my research on photographers during our sixt-month engagement period, Lori's portfolio was the only one that made me excited. I ...
loved her knack for capturing candid shots -- come to find out later she worked as a photojournalist in a former life. Lori delivered everything I had hoped for our wedding photos -- a good mix of candids, portraits and detail shots. During the wedding, she managed to wrangle all family members from both sides -- that's including aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. to take a series of family portraits desired by our parents. The list of combinations was long, but she powered through the photos graciously, taking less than 20 minutes to organize about a dozen, huge group photographs. Lori knew about our photo priorities before the wedding day, making sure to catch the big moments. Still in the early stages of wedding planning, she also helped us figure out what time the ceremony should start, in order to best use the light from the sunset. Then, during the reception, she was everywhere and we never realized it! She captured moments from the wedding when I never even noticed her presence, and then flew across the room to get professional copies of group selfies including the bride and groom. After it was all said and done, we received a jump drive with hundreds of beautiful photos from our wedding. We are thrilled.
