We had the quartet play for about 3.5 hours, covering guest arrival, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. It was one of the best decisions we made. The music added so much elegance and warmth to the entire day. Multiple guests came up to us just to say how much they enjoyed the music and how beautiful the quartet sounded. Conor made the planning process so smooth. He provided samples and a list of their repertoire, and we gave them a few songs for each section of the day to help set the tone. Beyond that, we trusted their professional judgment, and they absolutely delivered. The atmosphere they created was exactly what we hoped for. My husband described our wedding “vibe” as the upscale dinner scene from Titanic - classy, romantic, and timeless. Loring String Quartet not only captured that feeling, they exceeded all expectations. One standout moment: we had requested a song we thought was in their repertoire, only to find out it was our mistake and actually was not. Conor went above and beyond by tracking down the only known string quartet arrangement of that piece (from a colleague in Texas) and made it happen for us, even though it wasn’t available for purchase. That kind of care and effort truly meant the world to us. We had complete confidence in Loring String Quartet, and they delivered in every possible way. If you’re looking for musicians who are professional, kind, and incredibly talented, we cannot recommend them enough. Truly a highlight of our wedding.

We even added on an extra increment of time just a few weeks before the event without a problem. Their music selection is huge and they were also open to music we requested (for example, a Fleetwood Mac song they didn’t have on their list). We requested contemporary covers for cocktail hour which was so fun and beautiful too! We got so many compliments on the beautiful music and without a doubt recommend LSQ for your event!
