When I hung up the phone, I texted my fiance to tell him I'd already found the right DJ for us. In the months leading up to the wedding, any time I emailed them, they responded very promptly. They also have a comprehensive form to fill out and send to them before the wedding, indicating the songs we want for different important events during the wedding day, as well as our favorite artists/styles and artists/songs we dislike. Even though it took some time to fill out, I really appreciated that it helped me think through the timeline of the day. The day of the wedding, everything went off without a hitch. They totally understood the genres of music we were hoping to hear and Cassie did a great job with all of the announcements/emceeing. We got SO many compliments on the music, and we and our guests had such a blast. We purposely declined to choose a specific song for our grand entrance, and Cassie and Dan chose the perfect song for us to enter to, based on the artists and music we said we liked. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to hire Los Gatos DJ Company and wholeheartedly recommend them!

The music was perfect throughout the day and it felt like a soundtrack to a perfect movie of one of the best days of our lives! to say their DJ we hired did the exact same. We requested to interview Reza based on his reviews and he did not disappoint. Reza has a calm but fun vibe. He is organized, communicative and detail orientated. Exactly what you want from your wedding DJ. Not once did Reza make me feel like my requests were a burden, I love music and did not hold back with requests... He even encouraged my requests! He had a mix of that exact song for our bridal party intro song! We LOVED it. He even remixed a song for our entrance! He also communicated and picked up on our cues on when to stop certain dances! These little things made our day flow seamlessly. Lastly, we had different songs throughout the ceremony, all which he executed beautifully. Our officiant (not reza) accidentally made a small mistake but Reza stayed true to what order the music/processional was in. We DEEPLY appreciate that his awareness through this tiny mistake. No one really noticed thanks to Reza! We could go on and on about Reza and Los Gatos DJ. Reza is a great representation of their company, kind, fun and organized. t the same time. What we expected was just a random assortment of music videos that weren't timed to the songs, as this is hard to do - little did we know that we would have a video DJ! Reza met with us and was very detail-oriented about our playlist, asking great questions about the list we sent him, and thought about the flow and which songs would work when. He was flexible when we had changes, and even practiced mixing the videos to make sure he did it right. Come our wedding night, he played all of our favorite songs and our videos - he even remixed a surprise video of my husband and I dancing together. Above and beyond, 100 out of 10, I can't say enough great things about this company. All that and Cassie, who we corresponded with to book the contract and schedule, was extremely kind and professional. I can't recommend this group highly enough. We had an incredible wedding, and Reza and Los Gatos DJ Company were a huge part in making that happen!

The dance floor was never less than 90% full the entire four hours of dancing, and everyone could have gone for another two. Not to mention we didn’t hear a single complaint from guests as they took their dusty and dirty shoes as a badge of honor that they survived dancing under the stars all night! From Marvin Gaye to Selena to Eminem, Dan and Cassie’s mixing and following our playlists (with a few sprinkles of their own) were phenomenal and we could never have asked for a better DJ and MC. Speaking of MC responsibilities, the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dinner went off without a problem. Even after I threw a few curveballs at Cassie with some last-minute entrances and toasts, she rolled with everything and when I say everyone keeps telling us that was the best wedding they’ve been to, a large part of that goes to Dan, Cassie, and everyone at Lost Gatos DJ Company.

Reza worked with us, through multiple iterations, to create a professional sounding recording. I had several specific song requests, and Reza chopped verses, scratched songs together, and executed everything perfectly on the day of the event. He even found the instrumental version of the song I wanted for the recessional. I provided a number of playlists to guide the musical selection, and he clearly took the time to understand what I was looking for. I'd absolutely book LGDJ again!

We had a smaller reception, about 60 people, since we had eloped in Hawaii about a month prior, and Cassie and Dan had no problems keeping everyone engaged and the party going. Being a women owned business owner myself, hiring another women owned business was a nice bonus!

Our 3 year old niece was crying when she had to leave, and even told her mom that she wanted to live there, where everyone was dancing. We got married March 12 and from the initial vendor research stage many months before...Cassie exhibited an immense amount of grace/patience and expertise. She answered all of our questions and was transparent with the services offered and accommodated all of our needs...including setting us up with Reza for DJ services. I read on the site's lovely DJ intro section that Reza grew up in Iran and I thought he'd have familiarity with music and cultural traditions. Reza was incredible to work with - he was very accommodating and really wanted to ensure he nailed everything by asking questions and checking in with us/our planner. Everything went according to plan, without a hiccup! And that's huge because we had a ton of little nuanced components/guest surprises at our wedding. We also had the honor of having Cassie at our special day wo-manning the photo booth. She's incredibly sweet and all of our guests spoke highly of her. She made sure everyone looked into the camera and not themselves to ensure quality photos! And let me just say, the photos are just that...QUALITY. You too can have a beautifully filtered black and white Kardashian style photoshoot with the tech that LGDJ uses! :p All in all, so grateful for Cassie and Reza and would highly recommend their services to anyone getting married/hosting an event!

All names were pronounced correctly and at the right time. - We had specific musical asks for some parts of the wedding, and other parts where we trusted Cassie and Dan to judge the mood and pick music accordingly. They nailed both scenarios. The music they chose was awesome and changed throughout the night to match the vibe of the event. The music we chose was played perfectly, with excellent timing and correct sound levels for both speech and music. Cassie and Dan timed the start of the bride's processional so that the song ended just as Megan took her place across from me at the ceremony. Very smooth. - A number of guests told us (and continue to tell us) that it was the best wedding they've attended. The music and speeches contributed to this a lot. - We opted to add the photo booth they offer, which added a fun and unique set of photos to our wedding album. Megan and I put a ton of effort into making the day feel special for our guests, and Cassie and Dan enhanced our wedding significantly. Their professionalism and attention to detail allowed everyone in attendance to focus on the words, music, and experiences of the day without distraction. I'll be recommending Los Gatos DJ to friends that are getting married in the bay area, and I have no hesitation recommending them here on The Knot and on other review sites as well.

Throughout the process, they were communicative and sent us all the information they would need from us. When it came close to the event, they reached out to make sure we had the questionnaire for wedding music and it was extremely thorough. Even being in the industry, sometimes you don't realize all the minor details a vendor and couple exchange and now we do - down to how do you want to be introduced into cocktail hour, dinner, etc. We went into the day feeling extremely confident with them as our DJ/MC. We had some very specific music requests - certain songs starting at certain times or parts of songs being patched together and they did it all flawlessly!! Cassie and Dan's ceremony performance was sublime.... I did not have a mic due to the dress but they made sure to increase the receiving end of my husband's Mic so everyone could hear both of our vows. The music was also spot on!! They never missed and announcement, mis-stepped on a name! Cassie was so eloquent and classy with all her MCing responsibilities but had the respect from the large group of guests - she may be sweet but without a doubt she can command a room without people feeling like they are being bossed around! Dan rocked the music (see below)!!! The two of them are the perfect pair! When it came time for our reception, they started with musics that the older generations would enjoy which had the dance floor filled but sensed a quick transition on the dance floor as those people left and adjusted asap. At one point in time, I think we had every single person dancing. It was the best day of our lives and we couldn't be more thankful to the two of them for helping make that happen!!!
