our wedding. He was the first vendor we booked as soon as we had our date available. He does an amazing job of keeping the energy going throughout the night. There was not much down time at all, he did a great job playing music that kept everyone dancing. He cut in and out of the songs perfectly for our parent dances and first dance! After talking to Seth about what type of music we wanted him to play we were completely confident giving him free rein of deciding which specific songs were played and when they were played. We received so many compliments about Seth after the wedding, EVERYONE had an amazing time!! Seth set the playlist for a perfect night!

We were also so impressed that Seth could read our crowd and play songs that got everyone moving. We couldn't have been any happier and at ease with choosing Seth. Lost Art Collective really deliver on their promise to give you a better experience than the dude-with-an-iPod part time DJ -- we had picked a lot of the playlist, but he wove the songs together seamlessly and added a few extra, great songs as well. He has a fabulous online planning tool that was so helpful as well with -- it let us list all the songs we wanted played, and even included great suggestions for songs to play for some of the "special" events, like the father/daughter dance, cake cutting song, last song, etc. Really, really great experience!

I honestly don’t think I could have picked out better songs myself, which takes a lot for me to admit. Seth can really read a crowd, and can mix and transition songs like no wedding DJ I’ve ever seen. He is extremely talented. anning and was always extremely quick to answer any questions we had and offer his advice--and we had a lot of questions! The wedding itself was perfect--we wanted our wedding to be beautiful and romantic, but above all we wanted it to be an awesome party. And thanks to Seth, it was. We gave him a list of songs we wanted to hear, a mix of top 40s, 1980s and 1990s, and some random indie music, and he wove everything together wonderfully. He even made songs which in hindsight weren't the best for dancing total hits. And the songs he chose fit perfectly with our taste, it was as if he knew exactly what we wanted to hear. The dance floor never emptied and he kept everyone from toddlers to grandmothers dancing the entire night. We received many compliments from our guests in the days after the wedding about how awesome the music was. Seth was also an excellent MC and made sure the pacing of events was great, not too fast or too slow--we even got a few guest compliments about that after the wedding! Overall I would recommend Seth for any event. His expertise and professionalism were outstanding and he was a huge part of making our day perfect.

He was very organized, patient and accommodating throughout the entire process. The day of our event, Seth was on time and early enough to setup at our venue which required a setup at two sites, one which was a satellite site. From cocktail hour, to dinner to dancing, Seth flawlessly emceed our entire night. His true expertise was evident in all the mixes he did. He also has a real talent for mixing in the songs and rarely played a song in its entirety. It worked really well to keep the energy up all night. We also wanted our DJ to be a background part of the night and not the central focus. Seth embraced this role and was a perfect compliment (rather than focal point). o we could party and have fun. While very expensive, it was worth it to us to have a classy dj that wasn't going to say or do anything cheesy. It was also so much better to do this instead of an ipod or playlist because he could really read the crowd (we had 60 year olds and 20/30 somethings dancing. Plus he kept us on schedule! I didn't even need to hire an onsite wedding planner for the night and everything flowed perfectly. I would definitely recommend him to other couples if music and staying on schedule without the cheesiness is important to you.
