nd enjoyable. However, I was a bit underwhelmed with my alterations experience. Theresa handled my alterations, and while she was kind, the hem of my dress didn’t come out as clean as I expected. The bottom didn’t sit straight and it looked slightly lopsided, jagged, and wavy. She said it was because of the bustle. It also felt about an inch too long, so I kept stepping on it throughout the night while walking and dancing, even though I wore the same shoes I used during my fittings. Overall, I appreciated the attentiveness during dress shopping, but I wish the final alterations had been more precise.

ng on. By the time I went to my first appointment, my consultant, Sophia, had seen the selections from my dashboard and even had my favorite dress ready for me to try on! Sophia really helped me narrow down my options and figure out what style, silhouette, and details I liked the best for my wedding look. By my second appointment, we tried on more dresses that were closer to the look and feel of what I wanted, and, on my third visit, I said yes to the dress! I was so happy and excited every time I left my appointments, and I attribute that to my amazing and attentive consultant and the “no pressure” atmosphere. I cannot recommend Lotus highly enough!

Tara, had already pulled dresses from the styles I liked. We literally analyzed what I liked and disliked from there. She listened to my every word. She came back with dresses based on what I said. And I found one! Throughout the process she made me feel so good. The entire experience took an hour. I left feeling so excited. She was upfront about everything and made it so seem less and amazing. I called ahead and explained I had a big group supporting me and they accommodated without an issue. A lot of other places wanted deposits to try on dresses before anything, lotus wasn’t like that which I appreciated . I am really really happy about the buying experience.

LOTUS is truly UNIQUE. Sophia was a pearl in making the process smooth, pleasant and adding clarity with her great taste. Her Blue eyes are beyond beauty as knows how to execute the dress with accessories, veils and even making one feel like all the dress need their time with the client. r so, it still came back to the showdown of the first two masterpieces ⭐️ I think the God’s were smiling down on me when I was paired with consultant extraordinaire “Sophia” who was the consummate professional. She listened attentively, understood the assignment, expanded on my vision and brought it to life. She was truly a gem to work with and I couldn’t have been happier with our time together. While in your dedicated changing space, you are provided with a very comfortable satin robe in between changes and always in a safely curated space. This allows for discreet quick changes between gowns surrounded by full length mirrors on an elevated platform (heels not needed). You are booked for an hour but no one is kicking you out if you need a little more time. There isn’t that feeling of being rushed and you are able to enjoy this important moment of choosing the gown of your dreams 💕 I found the dress that took my breath away at Lotus Bridal. You guys make it look easy. Shout out to Bobbi (the store manager) who is just a doll. Easy to talk to and oh so helpful with any outstanding questions. I said YES to the DRESS!

She was very patient picking out dresses depending on my feedback as I tried on dress after dress, after dress. She was not pushy at all and encouraged me to not rush the decision process until I knew I had found the one! She was also very accessible via text and call whenever I had questions leading up to my return visit. The layout of the store also allowed my guests and I the privacy and space even though there were multiple other brides during the same timeframe.

(Preface, this was my first appointment and I was completely unsure of the style, details, silhouette that I wanted but Brooke was an absolute pleasure to work with to help me find my dream gown.) I must say that I tried on at least 10 gowns, each getting better with the critique that improved with the next gown. Brooke was patient with myself and my entourage that had many different opinions. With each new gown, she upped the ante and topped herself each time. Her expertise is unmatched and without her help, I would not have been able to find my dream gown. On my last gown, as I was stepping down from the pedestal, I saw Brooke walk past with another gown that was THE dress. It coincidentally was the gown that was for her next appointment. Mind the fact that we are on the cusp of being over on time for my appointment, Brooke graciously helped me into the final gown, added the veil and bouquet and its safe to say the waterworks were flowing. If you want the expert touch on professionalism for this part of your bridal journey, I would recommend Brooke a thousand times over. She was patient, provided good feedback, listened to my needs and matched them perfectly with each pick. You will not regret working with her!

I had picked some dresses through the store's online look book that I thought I might like, but upon trying them on I realized I actually didn’t like the fabric style I picked. Brooke was super helpful in helping me a dresses that had more sparkle and shine. I tried on so many dresses during my hour-long appointment and finally landed on THE ONE! Brooke was also super patient with me which made the whole experience so great! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a bridal gown. They are reasonably priced, the service is great and they have tons and tons of dress options.

d for me once I got there. I knew I wanted to try a square neck, and as soon as I put on my dress I knew it was mine. They didn't push or try to make a sale, and they respected my budget. My consultant was Sharyce and she was so great to work with. I was able to say yes that day and went back a few months later for my mom to get her mother of the bride dress. I also loved the veil so much I had to go back for it. I forget the name of my seamstress but she was so awesome and kind and did great work. All around great process with Lotus.

I went back to Lotus a second time to try the dress on a few weeks later for aunts that were in town and when I arrived, I realized I showed up on the wrong day. I was frustrated with myself for mixing up days, and was disappointed that Lexi wasn't working that day. Lucky for me, Nikolette was more than happy to squeeze me in before her next client arrived. Nikolette was so sweet and super helpful! I am very grateful for both Lexi & Nikolette and I highly recommend any other future brides to shop with them at Lotus Bridal!

y on dresses and I went in not sure if I would find anything, but Tara went above and beyond in understanding my needs and what I was looking for. She seemed to know me more than I knew myself as I was a bit nervous. I tried on dresses from my list and Tara kept encouraging me and feeling me out and I wasn’t sure why until by my fourth dress she brought one out I didn’t have on my list. She was like I think you would like this one….I was skeptical but once I tried it on I was like WOW. She knew exactly what she was doing, she was thoughtful, personable and kind. I never once felt like she was pushing a sale on me or being impatient. One thing I greatly appreciated is that, she asked me first if I needed help getting dressed rather than inserting help where I might not have otherwise felt comfortable and behind the curtain, while we were dressing she kept asking me how I was feeling and that made me super comfortable especially where it was just her and I and not around anyone else. That hour of fittings I walked away feeling like she made sure she connected with me and had my best interest at heart. I bought the dress she suggested and I can truly say Tara helped me pick the most beautiful wedding dress and I would recommend Lotus Bridal in Mineola to anyone.

aken me months to write this because I've been so upset, but I'm finally ready to share a glimpse into my nightmare experience - future brides I cannot stress enough that you should NOT buy your dress at Lotus. Mislead on the Sales Floor: The day I bought the dress I was told lies about the dress including what the sleeves would look like once my version of the dress came in. The sales associate also misled my mom who bought the dress for me to tip her 20% of the total price of the dress equating to hundreds of dollars. Wrong Size: In a tactic I have to assume was utilized in order to over-charge on alterations, the sales associate ordered my wedding gown several sizes too big and assured me it was fine when the gown first came in. However, once the dress came in and I was finally able to meet with a seamstress (making appointments was extremely difficult and the staff were extremely inflexible) she told me the dress was too big to alter. Buying The Floor Sample: With just weeks to go until my wedding, I was forced to return the dress I purchased and instead buy the floor sample I had originally tried on. Alterations Were A Disaster: Even after buying the floor sample, alterations were a mess. I couldn't get appointments and the women altering my dress kept calling out sick from work. The work done on my dress was left up until the very last day possible it could be completed and it was a rush job. The bust was too big and my bra was visible, the sleeves were too tight and uncomfortable, the buttons were loose and popping off because of the old floor sample, the lace was uneven and I was miserable. I did not look how I wanted to look on my dream wedding day. The Worst Part: The owner kept telling me all of these issues were my fault because I had lost weight. She even lost the undergarments I was supposed to wear with the dress and tried to convince me some other girl's undergarments were mine. The people who own Lotus Bridal should be ashamed of themselves. I have such negative memories of the days leading up to my wedding and on my wedding day that I haven't even printed out a single photo of myself from the day. For all the stress and heartache the company gave me NOTHING back. Don't give these people your business and don't risk the stress and upset I felt by shopping there.
