Lotus Event Pros

Lotus Events was in charge of getting a projector setup during our wedding reception, and I wanted to specifically call out Jeremy for going above and beyond! There were some issues with outlet capacity and power delivery to the projector unit as Jeremy was setting up, but he was able to work through the issues and get everything up and running. That’s not the best part, though. Jeremy came back later that evening (once it was a little bit darker) to make sure that the projector was displaying our video correctly! I didn’t think Jeremy had to do that, but he did and our wedding planner went out of her way to let me know how he came back. In short, Lotus Events and Jeremy were great and went above and beyond to help us out on our special day!

Highly recommend Lotus Event Pros for all DJ/Lighting/MC & even photobooth needs. We had come across Lotus Event Pros via another DJ vendor that we were thinking to book, however they were fully booked for our wedding date, unfortunate, BUT very grateful for this referral as Lotus Event Pros did not disappoint. They had everything we would need and at a very reasonably affordable price point. We worked with Scott, who was very professional and responsive with whatever questions we had. He was also able to edit my aisle walk down song as I asked. He even offered to change our uplighting to double as dance floor lighting when we opened the dance floor (which I had no idea was possible or what that meant initially), but so glad he did because it helped set the dancing vibes. Scott works with you and sends over a music planner for you to fill out and review together during a planning meeting to make sure everything runs smoothly and all the songs you want to be played are played. I would say everything went smoothly and Scott was able to keep our guests dancing throughout the entire night (and there was even an "encore" even after the lights were turned back on). The photobooth prints were customizable where we provided our preferred fonts and color theme and Scott sent over a mock-up design. We were pleased with the initial mock-up the first time around and did not have to spend much time on the photobooth details. I liked that you could choose between the square prints vs. strips as we prefer strip prints. We were sent a link to download all the digital copies including the original photos within a few days. We also really liked that you could fit a large group into 1 frame. A bonus: we also wanted a bi-lingual Cantonese MC, which Lotus Event Pros had no issue in providing for us at a very reasonable price.

Lotus Event Pros was a huge help with our wedding from the planning to the execution of the big day. I am such an indecisive person that without them my husband and I would probably still be engaged. Our wedding was held on August 2021 in the middle of the pandemic so we had to push our wedding back a few times. Jarrod was amazing and went above and beyond in looking for a wonderful venue in such a short amount of time. We had a tight budget and we were able to get a venue beyond our expectations with a beautiful panoramic view of Long Beach and the Pacific Ocean, amazing food by Chef Callan, a super fun photo booth you can customize yourself, an awesome videography team that made us feel so relaxed and took the awkwardness out of being filmed, and oh my God the flowers by Ansa and Michelle were so gorgeous. My parents were unable to fly in due to covid and they were able to make sure they were a part of our big day by allowing them to be able to talk to us and our guests by projecting them online and they also live streamed our wedding as well! Scott was a wonderful host and the celebration was always lively. Jarrod made sure that my husband and I were able to eat and stay relaxed as much as possible to be able to take in as much as we can on our special day. But most importantly, they made sure we were able to have our fur baby with us all day. Our wedding day surpassed all our expectations as it was a small intimate wedding and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for event services. I can't wait to celebrate more milestones in life and have them help us once again!
