Made for such a low stress 14 months, and we received so many compliments from guests about the wedding. During the planning process we expressed concerns about timing (we don't like late starts and finishes), Tara told us her weddings start on time - and it certainly did! Our daughter and her husband described it all as 'their perfect dream wedding.' Tara and her staff orchestrated the entire day and we didn't notice a single glitch. Bravo to Tara for a job performed so professionally and perfectly. Tara brought joy to our event. We recommend Lotus Events 1000 percent!

h her during our first call, I knew she was the one to help make my wedding planning dreams come true. She was by my side every single step of the way. I tend to be a pretty soft-spoken person when it comes to voicing what I like and don't like, and Brit was always the most intentional listener. I never once felt like I made a decision that wasn't fully MY decision. She was my voice when I was a little timid with vendors. She was always working to answer my questions, no matter how small. When they say something WILL go a little rogue on your wedding day, this couldn't be more true. But Brit was always a step ahead yet by my side the whole time. She was a calming voice when I most needed it. It's been two months since my wedding, and we are still getting compliments on how detailed, beautiful, smoothly run, yet US our wedding was. Brit wasn't only another vendor we worked with, my whole entire family grew so fond of her! If ever given the opportunity to work with Lotus events, DO IT.

me without her. Anytime I had a question (even 11 months out) she provided a quick response. As it got closer to the wedding, she made herself readily available to meet us or join us for meetings. This was extremely important since we were getting married outside of where we lived. I have been in many weddings who have wedding planners and Tara has hands down been the best. Even everyone in my wedding party, family, etc loved her and respected her. The way she can take charge and control of situations while still being calm and composed is amazing. It is exactly what a Bride needs on her wedding day. I think it is one of the main reasons I was able to remain so calm and still enjoy, even when our rehearsal was completely rained out and were unable to practice before the big day. I knew she had everything under control. I also cannot fail to mention how well she knew her stuff. There was not a question I asked where she did not have a well thought out and helpful answer. Also, another huge thing is my husband even loved her as much as I did. She was the perfect balance of both of us, so was able to communicate on both our levels which was great. Tara helped coordinate the complicated shuttle pick up/drop off schedule and made sure all guests had a ride for all wedding weekend events. Her wonderful relationship with other vendors makes communication and coordination work seamlessly. She really went above and beyond to ensure our vision was met and every little detail was perfect on our special day. We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Tara! Tara is the best wedding planner anyone could ask for. We absolutely loved working with her and couldn’t recommend her more! Her prompt responses, calm energy, and proficiency to get things done made the process feel as stress free as possible. Our wedding was truly everything we could have imagined and more. At the start of each month, she would give us a checklist and review of everything we had completed. We had a budget spreadsheet that was up-to-date and she was very prompt in answering any and all questions. Our parents all live out-of-state and we were not sure how we would get everything done, but Tara made sure everything came together and everyone was up to date. She offered great advice and was always excited and ready to pump up everyone else. Our family and friends were so impressed with the wedding and kept gushing over how nice our wedding planner was. She was always a phone call/text away during the planning process, she spoke up for us and was the middle man with our venue coordinator, she went and picked up our cake morning of wedding so we didn’t have to pay a delivery fee, she had her assistant go and get my veil that I forgot at my HOUSE(25 mins away ) so I could have it for pictures 😭, she made sure we ate at the reception… when the bar line was getting long and she could tell I was stressing about it she immediately went to help, she packed up our getaway car with all of our belongings, she made sure we had FUN… and SO SO much more!!! I can’t say enough good things about Tara.. you know when the guests at your wedding notice how good your planner is you picked a good one!! Highly highly recommend.

Not only is she amazing at her job but she is the sweetest soul. Honestly, my whole family won't stop talking about how wonderful she is and how much she helped out for the wedding.

hallenges thrown our way, from a COVID cancellation and re-scheduling to having to make a multi-state move for the military, throwing all of our previous plans out the window. Tara was an incredible support through all of it. She went above and beyond to help us and keep us calm (which was no easy feat). She helped us navigate vendor negotiations and contracts, planning challenges, and even provided incredibly helpful advice on extended family issues. I can't recommend her enough to other military couples- she was beyond helpful and understanding of the different restrictions that military life placed on us. If you want to do things out of the ordinary, Tara's your go-to! We wanted something a bit different from the big, white wedding and Tara was so supportive of all of it along the way. Tara was an absolute dream on the day of, keeping everything running smoothly, precisely on time, and without a single hiccup! I was able to let go of the worry about details that day as I knew Tara was on top of all of them. In addition to her incredible professional skills, she has a lovely demeanor and personality that will put you at ease whenever you talk to her. Our party members and our guests adored her! She was a joy to work with, and I'm forever thankful that she was a part of our day. I cannot recommend her highly enough! If you want incredible planning and coordinating services from an even more incredible person, look no further. Tara is truly a gem.

About an hour before our ceremony was set to begin, an actual fire started in our reception area - she handled the entire thing before I could even stress out about it. (All was fine!) If you need a coordinator (spoiler: you do), Tara should be your choice!

The month of she managed all communications to the many vendors we had, which took a lot of stress off of me! She was extremely organized and thoughtful in her process. We had planned an outdoor ceremony and reception with tents covering the reception area in case of rain. It started pouring minutes before our ceremony and our guests rushed to the tented reception area. For 15 or so minutes we were going back and forth on where we would have the ceremony and Tara was literally running from the ceremony site to the reception site carrying chairs and organizing the guests and vendors. The rain was not stopping so we shifted our schedule to allow for cocktail hour to be the initial event, followed by the ceremony (hoping the rain would stop). Tara quickly communicated the change to the vendors and guests and got everyone moving. As soon as it stopped raining, we rushed everyone down to the ceremony site to begin the ceremony. The whole schedule got shifted and moved around and it could have been a chaotic nightmare, but Tara handled it so well that everything ran smoothly and the night turned out better than we could have imagined (rain and all). I would highly recommend Tara and Lotus Events for any and all of your wedding planning needs! Tara really goes above and beyond!
