My husband asked me if we won the lottery what would be the first thing I would buy- it would have been more florals from Mary at Lotus Floral Design. Part of the excitement I was feeling the morning of our wedding was for the florals to arrive and come together. Mary brought every vision I had to life, but better. She created the most unique wedding bouquet and the most stunning installments of florals. So much so that I paid someone to preserve my bridal bouquet so that I am able to have it forever. Mary is truly an artist and uses her creative license to create florals that go beyond your wildest wedding dreams. Between booking, deposits and the day-of, should couldn’t have been easier to work with.

I even had some fake florals I had and wanted included to make a giant arrangement and she put it all together perfectly. If I'm being honest, florals weren't originally super important to me. But the more I went into it the more I realized how much they add to the day. Now I'm so so grateful that I included them as much as I did and that I used Lotus. She is truly the best of the best.

Guests and the venue alike were raving about them. Mary also set up a photo opp for us and glammed up a pool area for our welcome party, that were also exactly what I dreamed but better. Simply put she was brilliant, and if you have her as your florist no matter how stressed you may be, you know your day will be gorgeous because her work is in it.

She really listens and she is such an expert at what she does. I completely overlooked the concept of "in-season flowers" and most of the flowers I was gravitating towards were out of season. Mary was able to create flower arrangements with the same feel, texture, color and look with alternatives. My wedding was 5 months ago and I still think about my flowers and my bouquet. So many of my guests commented on my flowers saying that they were the most beautiful arrangements they had ever seen.. and I have to agree! Mary is the best.

We had multiple calls with her to work through various floral visions after having to postpone once due to the pandemic and she was always so genuinely happy to talk with us and always so excited about our ideas and color palette. It was a really fun process working with her and one that she made so easy by helping us maximize our budget. She created a detailed flower proposal with inspiration photos for us and a clear breakdown of how our flower budget was being used. We ended up having less tables than originally planned for and we just asked Mary to use her creative genius to do whatever she wanted to the sweetheart table with those extra funds and it ended up being one of my favorite parts of the floral install! She really has an amazing eye and incredible creativity. Everything was absolutely perfect and my bouquet was the most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen. Our guests continue to talk about the flowers and greenery and my bridesmaids were floored by their bridesmaid bouquets. All of the flowers lasted *days* past the wedding. Everything she did was absolute perfection!

From the stunning bouquets, to the table arrangements, floral garland, flower crowns for the flower girl and a gorgeous floral/greenery chandelier that served as the dance floor center piece, Lena knocked it out of the park with intricate, beautiful and truly breathtaking floral pieces. She is a wonderful listener, patient and kind and is so creative. She worked with me through colors, shapes, greenery to floral ratio and transformed my wedding space into a beautiful flowery wonderland. I cannot recommend Mary and her amazing talent enough. She went above and beyond and the florals were incredible!!!

I finally saw all they had done in our reception space when walking in for the first time after our ceremony and pictures and I was floored. We were in constant communication providing images of flowers and centerpieces I liked and rather than simply re-creating the images, she created beautiful floral designs taking bits and pieces from everything I liked. Having her perspective helped me put together the theme of my wedding and she provided so many helpful ideas that I would have never thought of. We got married at Castle in the Clouds in September 2019 and I was originally planning to decorate the ceremony site, but when we talked she warned me that the colors of my wedding could clash with the flowers that are already planted at the Castle. I'm so glad we made the decision to not decorate the ceremony and put more into the reception space. Mary understood my vision so perfectly and even surprised us the day-of the wedding with additional decorations for the bar and our sweetheart table to add to our theme. Mary is by far the best florist and I could not believe how perfect everything came out. Thank you so much Mary!!

The colors and floral selections were so gorgeous, I had SO many compliments on the flowers and the style and placement of everything (the garland centerpieces, arbor, accents throughout the barn). The barn where we had our reception was out of a fairy tale. When she dropped mine and my girls’ bouquets off in the morning, I cried because they were so beautiful, no joke. Mary also was such a pleasure to work with. She knows her stuff for sure and helped me make decisions all throughout the planning process. From center pieces, to bouquets, to decorative greenery throughout.. Mary did not miss a thing! oing personality made me feel like whatever crazy dream I had about my flowers could easily become a reality. My fiancé and I were working with a budget that didn’t allow us to have full bouquet centerpieces on every single table, but Mary suggested that I collect antique bottles and we stick a single bloom in those throughout the space. We took the bridesmaids bouquets and utilized those are centerpieces, the garland hanging on the arbor was used on our sweetheart table, the list goes on and on. Any way to get creative and utilize every little flower in that space, we did. And boy did she not disappoint! The entire reception space was full of gorgeous creative designs; my guests were blown away. My bridal bouquet was truly the most beautiful set of flowers and greenery I’ve ever laid my eyes on, consisting of real air plants, succulents, garden roses and dahlias that matched the wedding perfectly. Her team of girls who helped set up the morning of were incredibly sweet as well and completely professional. Without hesitation, I will recommend Mary and Lotus Floral Designs time and time again. and for the weeks following. I don't know much about florals but in speaking with Mary, she was able to capture my vision perfectly through a few conversations and sharing some pictures. She doesn't try to up-sell you and even finds ways to repurpose your arrangements to help stay within budget (my bouquet was also the centerpiece for our table). My bouquet stayed fresh looking all day and even lasted into the week following the wedding! Wish I had more reasons to work with her!

Mary blew all of those expectations away. I could not have asked for a more flawless execution of the ideas that were in my head (despite changing my vision almost entirely about 90 days out). She brought the most exceptional blooms, carefully curated greenery, and even helped set up all of the votives. She also accepted a piece of my mother's veil in the mail and wrapped it around my bouquet as a last minute special request! She even brought enough extra that she ended up putting around the reception in the most unexpected and perfect places, like above our seating chart, on the backs of our armchairs, and by the bar. A photo of my bouquet is now the background of my phone, and every time I look at it, I can't help but feel joy. I would work with Mary again in a heartbeat, and would recommend her to absolutely anyone in the area. Fair prices, flawless work, and a true expert in her craft. Couldn't ask for more!

er to anyone with floral needs. During our initial meeting with Mary, we shared with her some initial thoughts on what we wanted, and she ran with it. She suggested using seasonal flowers, succulents as a base for the boutonnieres, and floral wrist cuffs for my mother and MIL. We met with her one more time prior to the wedding day but didn't have any inclination of what she would be delivering the day of. We were in shock and awe when they delivered the flowers on the wedding day! They surpassed our expectations and were the most beautiful floral arrangements we'd ever seen. I can't say enough wonderful things about Mary! She is so easy to work with and has a vision and eye for design that we didn't see with any other florist we met with. tic renaissance themed wedding. My daughter had her flowers in mind from the day she got engaged! Antique roses, succulents, tons of eucalyptus and other romantic old English garden flowers. I have no words can even describe the gorgeous Brides' bouquet! The bridesmaids bouquets, boutonnieres for the groomsmen and lovely eucalyptus heart wreaths for the flower girl and pageboy were just stunning. For the reception I designed the center pieces using old milk glass and depression glass vases (5 on each table) and Lotus Floral Design arranged the flowers and the succulents (favors) so exquisitely it was breathtaking when you walked into the reception! I highly recommend Mary Trombley, owner and designer of Lotus Floral Designs for your wedding or any very special and unique event. 5 Stars just does not seem enough for how "best ever" Lotus Floral Design really is!

I was really unsure about floral arrangements for our wedding -- at the time it wasn't very high on my list.
