We also appreciated her upbeat energy throughout the event. We got a sneak peak only a couple days after the wedding, and the rest of the photos after a few weeks, exactly as promised. After we got the photos back, we realized that the one we wanted to frame in our living room was horizontal, but the frame we were gifted was vertical. We reached out to Georgette expecting to pay a fee for her to edit the photo into a vertical version, but she just made the change and added it to our gallery! We would highly recommend hiring Georgette.

As long as I can remember, I have loved taking photos and the art of capturing a moment. My passion for photography grew when my daughter, Lotus, was born in 2004 and I began documenting her childhood with an eye toward catching each irreplaceable moment.
I love nature and art and exploring Virginia and the Washington DC area for those non traditionally beautiful or off-the-beaten path spots that we often overlook. I'm a huge animal lover and it's always super exciting when furry babies join a wedding day or session!

ding photos and wedding video, and follow up communication, it was always a joy to work with Georgette and Steve. They are both very personable and down to earth, warm and yet always professional in their interactions and conduct. I felt a connection with Georgette the very first time we spoke, She was so bubbly and enthusiastic about her art and using it to celebrate events and families and people. Their photography and videography is beautiful and artistic, and captured a lot of moments that I couldn’t have even hoped would be captured. Although the quality of their work is on par with much more expensive companies, we felt that their fees were reasonable and well worth the expense
They were very easy to communicate with, through email, text, and in person. They responded quickly the times that I reached out, and kept me up-to-date on when to expect pictures and video after the events. When we asked for changes or adjustments, they were very agreeable and responded promptly. Our wedding was not typical in a lot of ways, and George and Steve really picked up on the.”vibe” of the couple, celebrating their uniqueness, not trying to fit them in to a mold. Georgette shared her professional views regarding some choices we were making, for example in how many group shots to take after the wedding. She shared her expertise in a gentle way so that I was well informed, yet she was very respectful ofwhatever decision decisions I made in those realms. Thank you, Georgette and Steve, for doing such a beautiful job of capturing this important day in our family’s history. You are now forever a part of it!

I booked Georgette, in part, because I knew she'd be a calming presence in the midst of all the chaos on the wedding day. She took a mix of candids and staged photos which is what we were looking for. It was so nice to have her and Steve working together too because they were both so in sync with what the other was doing. One of my big requests was to take photos in a park about 10 minutes away from the venue. Georgette was game to make the walk, and those pictures are some of my favorites. I highly recommend Georgette, and we were so happy to have found an affordable photographer who delivered amazing pictures.

We searched through just about every photographer in the area for our wedding - it was super important to me that we had the absolute best photographer to capture one of the bigges...
t moments of our life. After some deliberation we chose Lotus and, let me tell you, she was 1000% the right choice. She was absolutely amazing to work with, her personality and expertise were just beautiful and really blended in amazingly with our wedding.
She is by far the most skilled photographer I have ever seen and I can honestly say that as she was even able to shoot absolutely beautiful photos even after we lost power shortly after the ceremony began due to a storm that blew through! I’m talking amazingly beautiful photos in absolute darkness level of skill. She was very prepared for the day and had we of picked another photographer I honestly don’t think we would’ve gotten photos that were half the quality of hers in the same situation. Months later and we’re still hearing about how great of a photographer she was from our guests - I wouldn’t hesitate hire her again or recommend her to anyone that asks. She really is amazing.

The additional photobooth option that we chose was ran smoothly by her husband and ended up having some of the funniest photos of the night!

She made us feel confident in who we are and what we were doing. She captured joy, the genuine feeling of the day, and she weaved in seamlessly the entire day. She was able to capture the essence of myself and my husband. The photos we received were amazing and brought back so many amazing memories of the day. Everyone who interacted with her loved her and we cannot recommend her enough.

In terms of areas for improvement, we did not have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator which led to some organizational mishaps. She prioritized a few shots we weren't expecting that came at the expense of ones we were, but overall we were very grateful to have her on our team for the big day. We can't wait to see more of her work in the future.

g. She is so easy to not just talk to but is very responsive with any questions or ideas and is so amazingly effortless to work with. I gave her inspiration pictures for certain poses that I wanted and she delivered but her ability to capture candid moments as well as know what poses work best for my husband and I was above and beyond.
