He was super accommodating, professional, and friendly. Kellen helped us pose, made us laugh, and was patient with all of our requests. It was obvious that he had taken time to look over the Pinterest page I had shared with Lotus and he took the time to ensure we got the style of photos we were looking for. I have not gotten our pictures back just yet, but I am very excited to see his work!

needed to cancel that because we realized they were just going to be videoing people sitting and eating haha since we couldn't really do much else! They were really sooo helpful and very easy to get in touch with and talk to. I had Zelin as my main photographer, Vince as my second and Will was the lighting guy! They were all so nice and fun to work with. Especially because I wasn't the typical bride and didn't want all the crazy shots. I had my pictures in a little over a month, and I loved them. Even me who is not photogenic at all had a bunch of great shots. And the pictures I ruined with having my eyes closed or something they are looking into photoshopping for me. They are very reasonably priced and professional and I would highly recommend them :-)

floored, looking at a lot ( and I mean a lot ) of photographers before stumbling upon lotus I noticed everyone had that same generic feel. The other companies I looked at all had the same poses, and pictures as the last. You could feel and see the lack of creativity in everything and when looking at these photos you assume they would be the best that these companies have to offer. Lotus had such an extensive beautiful gallery of photos. Each photographer different from the last offering a wide range of styles. After looking at just a few of their pictures I knew, even before meeting them, that they were the one. I met with Justin (who is one of the nicest most down to earth people I've ever met), we talked about my vision, my wants, his journey in starting the company and so much more. He explained how we could pick our own photographer based on their individual portfolios, and we booked him for our wedding and for a follow up shoot after as well (This is the best decision any bride can make !!). The company was not only great on the end of photography but worked with us every step of the way as our wedding was pushed back 3 times due to covid. They were always quick to answer and made sure no matter the change they would be there on the big day. The day of the wedding Justin and his team were awesome, not only there just to take pictures but we genuinely had such a great time talking and laughing with him. He wasn't just a photographer at my wedding but will forever be engrained in my memory . After the day of our wedding we decided to do a follow up photoshoot to capture some more of those beautiful, longing , editorial moments I wanted so badly. Justin was great at suggesting some of the most beautiful venues as options for our follow up location. That day was absolutely spectacular and we got some of the most amazing, beautiful, memorable shots, LADIES I MEAN IT JUST DO IT! The follow up shoot, like the day of the wedding was filled with lots of fun, laughs, and truly amazing pictures. I hope whoever makes it through this review just books them, they are the choice for every bride. With a wide range of photographers and styles they have someone for everyone, they are affordable, they are the sweetest people.

andemic. We were originally supposed to have our wedding in November, but decided on a whim to move our wedding to an outdoor July wedding because of all the new restrictions. I called Justin less than two weeks before the new date we selected and he said no problem and personally photographed our wedding. It was an extremely hot day, everything was outside and on top of that our reception was met with a torrential downpour of rain. Despite all of that, Justin and his assistant Brent produced the most amazing wedding photos my husband and I could have asked for! There are a couple of one of a million, priceless shots they took of us dancing our first dance in the rain, with lightning in the background that are spectacular! All of our guests and anyone who has seen our photos have commented how beautiful they are. They were complete professionals and we are so glad we booked them for our special day. It might not have been the day that I had envisioned when we were planning our wedding, but the incredible photos they took will give us a lifetime of happiness. Justin is amazing and made us feel so comfortable because he’s so easygoing and funny. We will definitely be booking Lotus again for all of our milestones. Thank you guys so much for everything!

stin, the owner, who had already put a package together worked so hard to make a new package for us and reschedule our date. He LOST money with our event, but was so accommodating. While we were super sad that we only had 1 hour for photos and didn't get to experience photos in the whole venue like other brides and grooms, Justin and his team made 1 hour work and got some truly beautiful shots. Having the Lotus team with us felt like we were hanging out with our buddies. I was so comfortable. I wish we had had more time for more backdrops, but we could not be happier with what we ended up with. I would absolutely recommend them.

n’t meet any of my expectations. Not close to any of the reviews I’ve been reading about them. I don’t even know where to begin.. bad lighting, bad framing, no sense of creativity, bad background choices, no attention to any detail.. like nothing at all. They didn’t bother fixing the poses before they taking the photos, not even the effort to fix my certain details like my veil, the hanger hanging on top that you can see in the photos or the table that’s in the way of my maid of honor. Like seriously, it doesn’t take much to do all these things. Not to mention, i hate my walking down the aisle, bouquet toss pics, our “you may kiss the bride” pics and i don’t like any of our actual wedding ceremony pics. A lot of our pics were either dark or yellowish. They also miss some of the detailed shot like the centerpieces of our table numbers that my mom made. The photos that my venue’s photographer took are even better than what they did. My venue told me that there were a lot of times when our photographer was nowhere to be found that’s why she asked their photographer to take photos. There were several times during the reception when they could have taken nice candid shots but they were just sitting and hanging around. Not to mention them leaving earlier than they should. They also forgot to upload the 40 “artistically” edited photos that was supposed to be included in our package. They only noticed it’s not there when I called. Still don’t have them btw coz they won’t be able to until next monday. Our wedding was beautiful and a once in a lifetime day both for me and my husband and the photos were supposed to give us a memoir of that unforgettable moment. But thanks to lotus, i will be forever upset looking at this crappy photos they took on our wedding day. There’s no fixing it. You can’t undo it unless you go back in time to retake those shots. So yes, i am beyond upset and would not recommend this company to anybody. I’m including my one and only pic that they took where you can fully see the details of my gorgeous veil. It would have been nice if my veil wasn’t flipped on the right side, if my face had better focus and they took it with proper lighting. If you’re still convinced you want to hire this company, don’t get James as your photographer.

. We had a wonderful engagement shoot with James, who helped us look natural and have fun throughout, and our happiness shines through in our photos. For our wedding day, we had Vince and James as a team. Vince stuck to me throughout the day and did a great job capturing the candid joy and moments of the day. James took artistic shots and helped coordinate our poses. Both of them played with light, angles and the different areas throughout our venue to create a holistic album of photos and video footage. irection, trudging after us in 100-degree heat near and all around Central Park in NYC, always remembering which side I preferred being photographed from and keeping the atmosphere very fun, friendly and lighthearted. Angelo did a great job with video and we loved the finished product - all of our photos and movie trailer (along with the songs we picked to accompany it). Michelle, who was assigned to my groom, also did a terrific job - staying a bit later than we had planned and doing an especially wonderful job with the romantic hotel shots during the evening reception. Most importantly, the team kept the positivity going all day long! We also got all of our photos back within less than 2 months.

The only hiccup i had in the beginning is my save the dates early on when they were printed printed bad with missing ink etc. Amanda who runs the office immediately took charge called me, got new ones shipped out to me the following day and apologized. Amanda was so helpful with the whole planning process and going through the whole day of timeline and how everything will be laid out. It made me feel at ease! I can’t wait to see the pics and video! Don’t second guess Lotus! They made the day feel like a breeze!

After the wedding, they told us the photos will be ready in 6-8 weeks and videos in 3 months. Unfortunately a month after our wedding we had a loss in the family. I emailed Justin and asked that maybe he can send me some pictures of my aunt from the wedding.. In an instant he sent all the beautiful pictures and not just that he rushed the editor so he can finalize my wedding teaser video. What they did to me and Cj and to our families are just incredible and words cannot explain and describe how thankful we are. Lotus isnt just a vendor that you can hire and pay.. went to go see a bunch of photographers. As soon as we met with Justin at Lotus, we knew that we could trust Lotus with such an important day. He made us laugh and feel comfortable right away. Amanda, his wife, was always responsive with my many questions and receptive whenever I requested something specific, even when it came to editing because there was a certain kind of style I was drawn to. Justin was booked for the day of my wedding, but after looking through the portfolios, it was obvious that James took gorgeous pictures. He is a bit on the quieter side but has a great eye. Z was with my husband and he had such a fun personality so together they made a great team. I cannnnnottt wait to see the pictures once done and would 100% recommend any brides looking for wedding photography to book with Lotus.

Our photographers were so kind, funny and charismatic but also professional-and hard working. We got married on the hottest day of the year and it was rough but they worked their butts off for us and we appreciate it beyond belief. Lotus was easy to work with, I live 300 miles away from my venue currently and they were able to work through my entire timeline with me over the phone. The prices were great and upfront which I found to be a relief. They stuck to our timeline and we received a HUGE selection of photos to choose from within about 6 weeks. Frankly I couldn't be happier. Not only did I really enjoy our photographers but the photos (which I was so nervous to get back) came out beautiful. We really enjoyed working with them and it was a no brainer for us!

Amanda stayed in touch with us throughout the process and meeting with her one month before we got married really put me at ease that everything was going to be perfect. We were married in February and Lotus played a huge part in making the day as amazing as it was. James and crew got to the house at exactly when expected, set up and had me and my bridesmaids laughing every minute. James, our videographer and the rest of the Lotus team were absolutely amazing. We got married on a brutally cold winter day in February on the water and James and the team really helped take our minds off the cold and worked as quickly as they could to get us out of the cold, but not after taking 1 million amazing photos of us outside first! The photos they captured of me and my husband and all of our guests were stunning. I still catch myself looking through photos just sitting on my train ride home from work because they are all so beautiful. We have about 10 wedding photos hanging up in our house because I just can’t get enough! We even have friends who have said they have never in their lives seen such stunning and creative wedding photos. Thank you so much to the amazing lotus team for capturing all the amazing memories of this special day.

planning meeting with Chris, and it was so much fun to have him work with us on our special day. We geeked out together about wanting Doctor Who pictures, and how to get the perfect shot of the Montauk Lighthouse. Just from the planning meeting, we came out excited! I would HIGHLY recommend booking with Lotus, if you want to enjoy taking pictures, feel no pressure, have fun, have a good laugh, and so much more. Even when I got emotional, they were more prepared than me- pulling tissues out from who knows where! We all bonded over Disney vacations, and I just felt like I could be myself, which made the pictures authentic, and shine! I was blown away by how fast we received all the photos, including some gorgeous edited photos, and our trailer, in just about 6 weeks! The video trailer encompassed our day perfectly. It captured so many moments that we missed, being so busy throughout the night. If you are scared about posing, positioning, et cetera- they have you covered! My wedding was perfection- and a huge THANK YOU goes out to Lotus for playing such a huge role in that. If you are thinking about booking Lotus, DO IT- and it will make the happiest day of your life that much happier!

Our photos were spectacular and our video trailer brought us right back to that special day. Justin tells you upfront that he is a jokester and likes to make the bride and bridal party laugh and relax. If you don't like to laugh, go elsewhere; otherwise Justin is your man. I cannot thank them all enough for being a part of our special day and making it that much more memorable. P.S., I didn't even notice they were there- they are like photo Ninjas. Spectacular!

All of their photographers are creative and have epic portfolios that it was hard to choose one. Ultimately we chose Zelin for our big day. Prior to the wedding we had an engagement shoot with him at Old Westbury Gardens. He was able to capture gorgeous photographs that completely blew me away. He truly has artistic abilities that someone with the average eye lacks. At the wedding, all of the photographers, videographer, and assistant were wonderful to work with. They were down to earth and made taking pictures with family and friends a great experience. At the church the limo broke down and Zelin even offered for us to take a ride in his car (luckily the limo did start up again, lol). But that is a testament of who Zelin and Lotus are. They are not there to just take photographs for you, they are there to make your day the most magical time all the while willing to lend a helping hand when it is needed. It was amazing to sit down with my husband and see the events we missed but also a refresher of everything we got to experience. I wish that I could get a vinyl frame for each and every single one of our photographs. Zelin and his crew truly did a remarkable job and I would recommend any future brides to check out the amazing photographers at Lotus.

Lotus did an incredible job of capturing natural moments throughout the day that truly tell the story of our wedding day. Some of our favorite photos and video trailer clips are from moments we didn’t even realize the camera was on us. Additionally, about two months before the wedding Justin walked us through the itinerary for the wedding day and helped ensure that all of our vendor schedules were properly aligned and that there was enough room for error. Overall we had a wonderful experience with Lotus and are so happy with our photos and video!!!

actually did everything via phone and email because I was super busy and never had any time to get out there but that didnt take away from the super smooth and easy process it was to plan everything! Justin sent me over all of the portfolios of his photographers that were available for my day and I was able to choose with style I liked best. That led me to choosing James! James knew he was up to a hard task being only one photographer for an 18 person bridal party and a two huge families but guess what.. he did it! When I got my pictures back the tears started flowing all over again. I just couldn't believe how many beautiful shots he got that I didnt even notice him taking the day and night of! I wanted a photographer that was more in the background and wasnt in my face having me pose here and there and besides the bridal party photos and getting ready (which ofcourse are all posed and staged) he did it! So many raw and real emotions were captured through his photos which made me one happy bride. Highly recommend them!

ave shots, my husband and I were on cloud nine and had no concept of time, Jen was on it! Jen also played into my very crazy groomsmen (9) and their group shots were hilarious, loved her creativity! We also used Lotus for video. So many precious moments were captured we would have never had to the chance to see. If you are debating on splurging for the video, do it! My only regret was not getting the Silver package for the full edit. Lotus was great at communicating and always had quick responses. They were helpful while making our video trailer and album and it came together with ease. We are SO in love with our photos and video! Lotus was the best choice for the best day of our lives.

he practically pulled the camera out of Albert's hand, but instead of acting annoyed, he smiled and showed some to her on his camera. They also got my (now) husband to fully cooperate and actually enjoy taking hundreds of photos, something he absolutely does not love to do! They had us laughing the entire time and were joking around with us. It was wonderful. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because I did not have any photos taken with my extended family, and there were few and far between shots of my immediate family, two things that were very important to me. However, I blame that in part on the venue's time coordinator, as we were behind a full 45 minutes and I feel as though that had a lot to do with it.

Even though we have not gotten our photos or video back yet, the few photos that James showed us on the camera were absolutely incredible and I have no doubt that all of our photos will be at the same level. s a small blizzard and our photographers James and Chris showed up and made everyone feel relaxed and helped me continue to enjoy the beautiful day. They were so helpful and amazing to my family and friends. We received our photos and I’m absolutely in love with every one. It was hard to decide which one to use for our thank you cards. We decided to put three on them. We have told everyone how amazing they are. Every time I look at any of our photos I am filled with happiness. They captured the love that was flowing that day.
