Justin and Amanda were great and so easy to work with from the start. Our team on the day of our wedding were even better. Anthony, Mike and Jose were amazing. Everything was seamless during the day and relaxed thanks to them. We will have the most perfect pictures and videos from 9/21 thanks to all of Lotus!

Lotus Wedding Photography was truly amazing! We used them for two of our wedding events and our Engagement photos as well. For the Wedding events, one was more of a traditional event in which we had Wilfredo and Steven. The other event was our wedding and we had Zelin and Anthony as our Photographers and we had Philip and Bill as our videographers. All of these photographers and videographers made our wedding day so much easier and calm. Their professionalism and patience with my very large family made everything move so smoothly during family photos and even during the wedding itself. They did not hesitate to get in the middle of the dance floor to get the best shot! Everyone at Lotus Wedding Photography is such a pleasure to work with! Our photos came out SPECTACULAR! My husband and I are so happy with all of the photos, but especially with the artistic photographs that the photographers took, they were truly amazing! I would recommend them 100% of the time!

We had the best experience with Lotus Photography! They made everything so easy and comfortable. We didn't have the most traditional day and a lot of things decided on the spot. They rolled with it with ease. Can't wait to see the end result!

We had a great experience using Lotus for our wedding! Z, Jonathan, and Anthony were all so amazing to work with on our wedding day! Amanda, Justin and Will were so great to work with leading up to our wedding. They were so responsive and did so much prep/coordination leading up to our wedding. We opted for two photographers and a videographer which was the best decision. Z and Jonathan immediately made me feel so comfortable. They were helpful in carrying my train so it wouldn’t get dirty and even showing me some tricks on how to carry it best! They were so creative with our scenery and also so thoughtful when it came to having us in the shade or giving us a break from photos inside (it was a hot one). Anthony was mostly with the guys but my husband said how great he was. He fit right in with the groomsmen and made everyone feel at ease. All three of them stayed the whole night and captured so many moments during our reception. I can’t wait to see all the photos and videos!!! Highly recommend for any wedding event!!

We were so incredibly happy we went with Lotus. We chose Will as our main photographer and Philip and Anthony ended up being our team. We cannot say enough good things about our experience. Will and Anthony took a lot of care into our special day making sure everyone was standing correctly, their outfits were perfect, and that everyone had a good time. We recently had the pleasure of working with Will for our engagement photos, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Will was incredibly professional and down-to-earth, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable right from the start. We just had our engagement photoshoot with Lotus Photography and wanted to recommend them for anyone looking!!!! What an amazing experience from our first meeting with the owners and our shoot with our photographer, Zelin!!! They are fun, professional, and didn’t break the bank! 10/10 so far and can’t wait for the big day!!!

I booked Lotus Photography for my engagement and wedding photos. Since the first meeting with Justin, I felt comfortable and at ease. He listened carefully to all of my questions and I had a long list. He answered my questions thoroughly, and went over all of the options and services offered by Lotus Photography. I never felt pressured to choosing one package or option over another. Speaking with Justin was more of a conversation. We had our meeting by Zoom to accommodate my schedule. After our meeting ended, I felt that choosing Lotus Photography was the right choice for my engagement and wedding photos. Communication is very important to me and Amanda at Lotus Photography is very responsive. She provides detailed responses to all of my questions in a prompt manner. She made choosing a photographer a seamless process. Amanda provided me with a list of photographers an available with their photo gallery, giving me the opportunity to view the different styles of photos for each photographer to help me choose a photographer that matched my style. Additionally, she was flexible with scheduling my engagement photos. I had my engagement photos taken by Wil at the Islip Grange. Wil is patient, kind, and easy to work with. He was so patient with our dog! Wil showed us how to pose, and gave us directions that were easy to follow. We did not feel awkward. Zelin was the wedding photographer for our wedding 8/17/2024, and he was amazing! I met Zelin for the first time at the wedding, and he automatically made me, and the wedding party feel comfortable. Zelin was with us for 10 hours and he was patient, attentive, and accommodating. He took the photos we included on our photo list and took additional creative ones. Zelin never made us feel like the whole wedding was about just taking photos. He made us laugh and if we needed a break, he went and took candid photos until we were ready. My guests commented how he just blended into the ceremony and reception and still took photos! Zelin took pictures of everything and I look forward to seeing the photos. I would highly recommend Zelin as the photographer. The team at Lotus Wedding Photography (Justin, Amanda, Will, Zelin) are very professional and amazing to work with.

Our experience with Lotus for wedding photography/videography was a bit mixed. Ultimately, we received many beautiful photos and great videos that captured the important moments. Their photographers/videographers are talented, experienced and professional. I also appreciate them re-editing the style of some photos for us after the wedding. We experienced some issues when it came to planning and logistics, this is where they can definitely improve. We discussed many details before the wedding day with Will, such as the style of photos we liked and shot lists of groups of people we wanted photos with. Will ended up being substituted for a different photographer day of. This would not have been an issue, but it seems that he did not pass along all of the important information we discussed. The team of photographers were ignoring the shot lists provided and I (the bride) had to prompt them multiple times to make sure I was getting all of the family shots I wanted. I even had to start gathering people together myself to ensure I captured all the shots I wanted. This stress was very unnecessary. Additionally, we shared examples of light and airy style photos that we like. For some reason, lighting was set up day of to take many photos that were shadowy, dark and dramatic. Luckily, most shots had variation in style, but all of my bride solo shots and all of the photos with my bridesmaids looked like this. We also had some trouble planning the schedule of the day in our early consultations. Our day was more complicated with a church wedding and a first look etc., but Justin was not helpful in brainstorming ideas about how to schedule and fit everything into the day. We ended up brainstorming a schedule on our own and then bringing it back to the team. Overall, I am happy with the photos and videos we received, but I wish the team could have been more helpful to reduce stress instead of adding to it.

Working with Lotus has been an amazing experience! From the very beginning Justin made my husband and I feel very comfortable and we knew Lotus would be our choice for our big day! Our main photographer Will and his team made our day so special and took the pressure off us. They were, patient, funny, upbeat, and professional in every way possible!

Hiring Lotus was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the start they were kind, helpful, organized, and made us feel truly special both at our engagement shoot and on our big day. Justin has such an amazing personality, and it was like having a good friend guide us through our wedding day, with lots of laughs along the way! Our whole photography and videography team was fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with how our pictures and videos came out!

My finace and I had our engagement shoot in July with Will and we had such a great time and our photos are beautiful! Will was an absolute pleasure to work with and everyone at Lotus was extremely accommodating. We are looking forward to working with everyone again in September for our wedding!

We had Zelin as our main photographer, Patrick as our second, and Phil as our videographer who were all so much fun - it honestly felt like we were just hanging out with friends all day. Zelin and Phil were so creative in the shots they were tying to get - while also getting through my shot list which included an extended list of family portraits. Just got our photos back and we are absolutely blown away by the quantity and quality of footage. Trying to narrow down our favorites has been almost impossible. So glad I trusted my gut and went with Lotus. Can’t wait to get our video footage.

We worked with Anthony for our engagement photo shoot and he was fabulous! As someone who has never had professional photos before and had no idea what to expect, Anthony was truly awesome. He was calm, patient, and encouraged us to have fun. We explored many different spots for photos and Anthony never rushed us. He was so professional and we built a kind rapport with each other that day. Our photos came back truly stunning. From the beginning, we loved Justin and the Lotus Photography Team! We immediately felt so comfortable with Justin that we practically booked on the spot! I knew before we were even engaged we wanted Lotus as our photographer. They’re the only ones we spoke with. Justin, Amanda and team are so great. Justin did our engagement shoot and was the main photographer for our wedding. They are very responsive, super easy going, and had fun with both shoots we did. Our photos are beautiful and we’re still getting compliments from people on them. We haven’t gotten our video back yet, so I can’t comment on that. But the photos were great!!

I am so grateful that my sister found this amazing company to photograph her beautiful wedding!! My sister got married in May of 2023 and I knew that I had to book with them as well for my wedding in 2024! I met with Justin to discuss planning and it went so smoothly, he was extremely professional and had such a great sense of humor (which is a total major win for my fiancé and I)! I just received our engagement photos and they came out AMAZING! My fiancé and I were nervous about taking photos since we are normally the type to take goofy photos. From the engagement shoot to wedding day, Lotus Photography and Justin were compassionate, thoughtful, and involved in our process. Justin, James and Walter not only do produced amazing quality photographs, but they knew how to keep things light and fun to get the best pictures possible. Their input and patience with us as we worked through what we liked and didn’t like, what we thought would look great in photos, and our needs were second to none. I’m so glad we picked Lotus for our wedding day photography. Every picture they post are absolutely stunning and I can’t wait to get our photos back!!! We didn’t do an engagement photo shoot so I was a little nervous. Since we’re not huge on photos but Justin and Anthony were a great team!!! Not once did we feel pressured or uncomfortable. Also my whole family was amazed how they got all our photos done in such short time. They were so organized!! I also really appreciate them able to accommodate taking a photo with my grandpa even when he couldn’t walk around that much. That really meant a lot to me. I would 100 percent recommend them to any person looking for wedding photos.

Absolutely in LOVE with my engagement photos done by Zelin. Such an amazing job and we felt so comfortable, in so many outtake photos I am laughing so hard. Our originally planned date had horrible weather and Zelin was so flexible to do a session before another wedding he had on a Saturday. If anyone is looking for a photographer I definitely would give them a look! I am so excited for our wedding in November and feel a lot more relief that I know I will be getting quality photos that I love 💖

I am so happy we decided to choose lotus for our wedding! We just had our engagement shoot with photographer Anthony and he made my fiancé and I so comfortable. They are very lovely people and great to work with. My only issue is that they did not give us sneak peeks of our photos, so I will not see my pictures until 3-6 weeks .

We had such a great experience with Lotus for our wedding photos! My husband and I had a less traditional wedding where we didn’t want to incorporate the traditional reception, first look or cocktail hour photos. Our vision was a long cocktail party with and endless dance floor and no interruptions for photos, cake cutting or anything else! Lotus heard us and we couldn’t be happier about our experience. We had the best time dancing and partying the night away with friends and family and our candid shots are STUNNING and super fun! They captured all of the best moments and we were so pleasantly surprised with how incredible they came out. All of our photographers were delightful to work with and made everything easy and effortless on our end. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing experience with Lotus photography and I could not recommend them enough. From responsiveness, attention to detail, and creativity, I am blown away. Anthony was our photographer for the day. He was so attentive, made us extremely comfortable, and we hardly knew he was there, which is exactly what we wanted. Not to mention, I reached out to Lotus this week because I wanted to gift photo books to my parents and inlaws.. and I got the photos back two days later. Lotus was extremely flexible especially since we had to change our date. They are very responsive and always willing to answer questions. The photographers themselves were amazing! Extremely friendly, give great directions and know how to make you feel comfortable. Our photos exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend them as a vendor.

We used Lotus for videography and it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Our videographer Mike was so talented and such a great vibe to be with on our big day. He created the most beautiful wedding video for us and I literally can’t stop watching it!! They also provided the raw footage which no other company that I inquired with, did. Lotus explains too that you can later add on to your package after the wedding, which was something we weren’t offered with anyone else. They were professional and knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Lotus Team, especially Mike!

Zelin and Angelo were phenomenal. They were funny and easy to get along with, gave great direction and also took great direction when it came to the specific photos we wanted. Couldn’t ask for better. Highly recommend!

Lotus was by far one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day.  I cannot express my joy and happiness when I received my wedding photos!  Each and every one was more stunning than the next.  Anthony, Will and Philip were so professional yet felt like a part of the family by the end of the night.  If I were you I wouldn't walk I would run to make sure you can book them.

If you want a photographer who calls you at 9am on the day of your wedding telling you that they are “sick” and are sending a different photographer then lotus should be your first choice. Justin was a great salesman’s however didn’t even have the courtesy to review the shot list we discussed a month prior to our wedding with the fill in photographer he sent. The photographers he sent were nice however did not pay attention to any detail. I barely got any of the shots that I discussed with Justin. The shots I did receive the majority of them were in completely unflattering angles and overall truly disappointing. The photographers insisted we do a few poses that were absolutely uncomfortable for me to be in and when I asked for other ones, they just dismissed me. I didn’t put up a fight because I refused to allow anything to upset me on the day of my wedding. To add insult to injury, the photographers and videographer left before getting tipped. When we reached out to lotus they claimed they couldn’t give us the professionals full names to send them checks, due to “privacy”, even though we fully explained why we wanted their names. Amanda offered to charge our credit card on file for tip. She never once made any gesture of how she or Justin would confirm with us the professionals would actually receive the tip. On top of it, the photographer who shot my wedding told me he knew he was filling in for Justin 4 days in advance! Yet Justin waited to inform me he wouldn’t be shooting my wedding, until the day of. Recently we met a couple who also used lotus who reported having a mirrored experience! I didn’t write a review for my wedding initially because I thought not leaving a review would have a similar effect as leaving a negative one. After learning that this occurred with someone else as well, it’s very obvious that this is common practice for this business and others should be warned.

Booking with Lotus was one of the best decisions we made. Justin and Amanda run a great business -they were so friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the process. Amanda walked me through our timeline everytime I called to make sure we were always on the same page. We used Zelin as our main, Anthony as the second, and Walter for video. They were so fun and friendly and truly made photos so enjoyable. Zelin knew how badly we wanted sunset photos, and he was able to convince the maitre d of sea cliff manor to let us leave the reception to take these photos and we had the best time sneaking away with them. We took our first look photos at a personal location that's not usually open for photos but gave us an exception. The team hadn't photographed there before and they told my husband they were so excited to take pictures at a new location and wanted to spend some extra time there because there were so many good spots - which meant a lot to me because it showed they really cared about their work. And when we got the photos I was absolutely blown away. They are so creative and beautifully shot. They captured elements that were meaningful to us without us even telling them to do so. We got sooo many photos too, over 2,500, all of different poses and looks. The only thing I would say is that they don't provide teasers. Which didn't bother me but they do have an option to expediate the full album within 2 weeks. Otherwise, they provided the full album within 8 weeks which I think is reasonable. The price was also super reasonable for two photographers and the quality and amount of photos we received. I was so incredibly happy with our photos I couldn't imagine booking with anyone else.

I hired Lotus for my 9/10/22 wedding and they were awesome! Wilfredo really made sure to get every photo I wanted even with all the chaos going on! He did my engagement photos and it was so nice to work with him again for our wedding!

Lotus photography (Zelin and Angelo) did an amazing job capturing our special day. Zelin and Angelo were so easy to work with and constantly made us laugh and smile (which makes for great pictures). They were cheerful and experienced with the venue. They were super receptive to any requested pictures and even got me a fan outside because it was so hot during pictures. Justin, Amanda and their team were nothing short of spectacular. They took the most beautiful pictures and captured every important moment. I didn’t think it was possible to capture the joy in our hearts on our wedding day but they did, each and every time. They listened to everything we wanted and were soooo fast so we didn’t miss out on the festivities and got to spend the most time with our guests. they were kind and so much fun. If i could give 200 stars i would. they are all artists and our wedding was even better because of them.

These guys are great! We had done photo, video, and a photobooth through them. Justin is a great guy, very down to earth. Amanda was great at responding to any questions I had. We had Zelin as our main photographer, and he was so nice and fun to work with. We haven’t gotten our wedding photos back yet (it’s only been a week), but our engagement photos came out absolutely beautifully and he got them back to us in the timeframe given. Zelin, Vince, and Walter (our second photo and video) were all great and very discreet. I honestly don’t even remember seeing them at the ceremony! I forgot they were even there until they took the mic off my husband! Which is great, a lot of weddings I’ve been to the photo and videographers are right up in the aisle and it takes away from the ceremony. The photobooth was so much fun, and the attendants were great! The only problem was a high class one…we booked it a year before the big day and I had gotten photo strip magnets as a favor…but they had a brand new machine at our wedding and the strips didn’t fit! They came out awesome, and I love how the pictures are a little bigger though so I can’t even be upset about it haha. I can’t fully review the video yet since I haven’t received it (again, only a week), but he was such a nice guy and was getting footage of EVERYTHING so I’m confident it’ll be great. Definitely worth the drive out there, I would recommend them to everyone!

Lotus photography was absolutely amazing! Justin was great to coordinate with and answered all of our questions. Anthony and Albert were our photographers and every single picture we were in awe of! So I did research and I asked my friend and family about photography for our wedding. Everyone said Lotus. So during covid Justin and Amanda made us feel so special discussing our wedding and what they have to offer. From start to finish Lotus Photography was absolutely amazing. We had Zeldin, Anthony and Ramses for photography and videographer. They made my husband and I feel so special. We honestly did not know how to pose or do anything to posing. All three gentlemen helped us out and we had so much fun with all of them. I highly recommend this company and the three gentlemen we used.

Just had our engagement shoot in April! Zelin did such an amazing job! The photos were beautiful. He made us feel comfortable the entire time and we had a lot of fun. We got the photos back quickly and were very happy.

Absolutely amazing!! From the moment I spoke to both Justin & Amanda, I knew this was the photography company that I wanted for my wedding. I love the family-owned, intimate feel of everyone that works there. Justin shot my engagement shoot - there was a hurricane along Northport Harbor July 2021 and his upbeat personality made standing in the rain and wind all worth it! For my wedding, I had Justin & Zelin. INCREDIBLE. They were there, but not there!! I didn’t notice them once at the church! They captured the most fun, candid, and posed photos of everyone at the party, every detail, and every type of photo of me and my husband. Plus, it rained on my wedding and we had so many laughs taking the pictures. Of all my requests for family photos, I had a special one to me, which was me holding a picture of my mom who passed away. They made the moment so special and captured such a beautiful memory I’ll always have from my wedding day. Book Lotus!

I can’t even explain how lucky we feel to have come across Lotus. From our very first meeting with Justin, it felt like home. They listen to exactly what you want, they give amazing feedback, respond to any questions you have ASAP and overall are amazing to work with. We just had our engagement shoot with Justin and literally laughed the entire time. The pictures are EVERYTHING we wanted and we can’t even imagine what our wedding pictures will look like. Amazing amazing amazing. I haven’t even gotten the photos back yet, when I do I’ll update but I got a sneak peek at his camera a few times and they were incredible. Zelin, Philip and Vince were so awesome. I told lotus I needed a photographer to direct me on what to do and how to pose down to finger placement and he delivered. There’s a reason their rating is so high. I cannot thank them enough. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

OMG!! Lotus Wedding Photography was AMAZING. When we first met Justin, we had such a great feeling, and we knew they were going to be our photographer. We had Albert and Vince as our Photographers. We actually got to choose who our main photographer was, and we just loved the way Alberts photos came out. They both did such an amazing job, and we are so happy with our photos. Everyone we have shown our photos to loved each one. We did have to change our date and they were so easy to work with when we had to change our date. The whole time we were joking and laughing, they made us feel so comfortable. They got every moment. We are so glad we went with this company. The Lotus Photography team was excellent to work with from start to finish. From our first zoom call we had a really good feeling and felt extremely comfortable with Justin. Justin and Amanda worked with us to get our engagement shoot done in time to catch some foliage right before winter and were able to re-schedule us due to inclement weather. They gave us great advice planning out our wedding day with the timeline and everything was seamless. Justin and team were so efficient, easy and great to work with. They made us laugh and they got so many shots done in a short amount of time. For 2 people who don't love having their picture taken, we truly felt comfortable and at ease; Justin and team made us laugh and relaxed. The photos were stunning, breathtaking. I don't have enough words to express how amazing Lotus Wedding Photography and the entire staff was for our wedding day! From the moment they arrived in the morning until the moment they left they made the day absolutely fantastic and seamless for us. We were lucky enough to have Justin and Walter shooting with us for the day and they made our bridal party and families feel so comfortable and kept us laughing all day long. From the small things like knowing which hotel room to photograph in, to the second location for pictures in between ceremony and reception, to knowing how to get genuine smiles out of the guests, it was effortless. We spent all day talking about how amazing Justin and Walter were and the fact we didn't have to give anything a second thought. I knew we were going to love this company since we had worked with them prior, but I didn't know how much they would blow my expectations out of the water. Lotus was amazing to work with for my 11/27/21 postponed wedding. Our original date was 11/28/20 and when we switched the day they were fast to respond to our new date and immediately sent over an updated contract. We got our photos back in a timely manner and they are outstanding! My husband and I made it clear that we wanted photos to be done before cocktail hour and they made sure to make it happen. They were efficient in telling everyone what to do and where to be. It was nice to not have to worry about locations, poses, or lighting because they took care of literally everything. I could not recommend them more!

Lotus was our venue’s preferred vendor for photography and the recommendation is well earned. After having met with Justin (photographer/owner of Lotus) we loved how easy it was to speak with him and how he immediately understood where we were coming from and what we were looking for. Justin shared with us Lotus’ photo catalogues and welcomed us to select a photographer that we found most in tune with what we envisioned for our big day. James had candid and elegant shots with picturesque lighting and my wife and I were in love with his technique. A month before the wedding, we chatted with Justin on the phone to discuss the layout of the day and his insight, even accounting for the sunset, comforted us when making decisions for our guests and other vendors and movements. James was always so attentive and communicative, directing us into positions for the perfect shot. Will consistently made me feel confident and crack a genuine, laughing smile with his humor and positive attitude Both James and Will did everything they could to coach us into just feeling like our best selves. James and Will were the photographers for our wedding at Water’s Edge in Centerport, NY.

Everyone at Lotus was a PLEASURE to work with! Justin and Amanda, the owners, are very responsive to emails and phone calls. Zelin, our photographer, was AMAZING! He and Anthony, his assistant, had us giggling all day and they made us feel very comfortable. We are extremely happy with the photos!! I cannot recommend them enough!

Working with Lotus was a dream! They are highly communicative, incredibly knowledgeable, and extremely professional. Planning and executing a wedding during a pandemic is very stressful, but having Lotus as our photo/video partner really made things much easier. We set a timeline way in advance and day of, everything was insanely smooth. In fact, we were early! Most of all, if you're going to spend the day with team, make sure they're easygoing and fun. My husband and I just got married and we had Lotus for our photography & videography. Zelin and Philip were super easy going and great to work with – they put me at ease and gave me plenty of direction. The entire team was very relaxed all day; I never felt pressured to take a thousand photos in one shot and felt completely comfortable asking for a break or asking for specific photos. We provided a list of family we wanted pictures with, and he made sure we got them all before our ceremony started. We were hardly pulled from our party – we only went for pictures once during the entire wedding. This was awesome because we got to truly be in the moment and enjoy our night with our friends and family. I have not gotten our pictures back just yet, but I am very excited to see them and relive the best day of my life! My husband and I could not be happier with Lotus Photography and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of professional photos for an event.

Impossible to get a solid response and dont even get me started on the ping pong around getting a contract. How can you expect them to show up to an event if they cant even respond to an email? What a joke.

Zelin was great to work with – he put me at ease, gave me plenty of direction, and has a fantastic eye for more dramatic shots. We provided a list of family we really wanted pictures with, and he ensured we got them all. It took 8 weeks to get the pictures (no sneak peek), but it was worth the wait: I love the pictures, and keep going over them with joy!

By far the easiest and most genuine company to work with. You can truly tell that Justin and his team love and take pride in their profession. I got married on November 12, 2021. James was our photographer and he was so amazing to work with. He made us laugh all day and made me so comfortable. He got some amazing photos and I can’t wait to see the album. If you are looking to book a photographer they are it. They are so kind and so easy to work with. Lotus was amazing from start to finish. Our wedding was in August of 2021. Amanda was super helpful with all of our planning (and postponing) needs leading up to our wedding day.
