We hired then for our wedding! Their music was great and I’d recommend them. I was confused though because we wanted to have music playing between band sets like just regular pop music and discussed this the weeks prior, and at our wedding they didn’t play any and also our communication in the final days they stopped responding, so I was stressed. Overall though they’re great quality and great price

I had a great experience with Louis and the band. Louis was flexible and responsive working through event details; I was very picky about the song selection and the band was very accommodating. They learned a couple of songs at our request, and customized the arrangements for the first & parents' dance. We got the package with ceremony music (cello & keys), cocktail hour jazz (keys & sax), and a five-piece band (vocals, keys, sax, bass, drums) that played jazz during dinner and pop afterwards. Every one of these sounded great, and it was so easy for us to arrange them all through a single vendor. Every musician was talented and a pleasure to work with. Really happy with all of it, and they helped make the wedding really special.

20/10 HIGHLY Recommend!! My husband and I got married on September 23, 2023 in Bath, Maine. We booked the Adam Shaber Quintet through Louis Pettinelli Entertainment and we were absolutely blown away with our experience, from start to finish. Louis himself responded to my inquiry message within a matter of hours, and was so helpful and patient as he walked us through the booking and planning process. Their admin, Teresa, then took over from there to help us get our songs picked out, and always answered our questions very quickly. Their song list is very extensive and they are very flexible about allowing you to make selections off of their list, which was a big relief when it came to picking our songs. The professionalism and flexibility of Adam and the band went well above and beyond our expectations. All 5 members of the band were immensely kind and SO talented! They truly were the heart and soul of our wedding. Adam played acoustically for our ceremony outside, then took over cocktail hour indoors with two other band members, and then moved to the main hall to get the party going for the reception. He absolutely crushed every single part of the wedding day - including the planning! He was very helpful during our planning meeting before the wedding, steering us away from songs that wouldn’t play well to our guests, and it was such a relief to know he was on top of things. Our timeline got...well, pretty off schedule (dinner was served over an hour later than expected) but Adam and the band kept that awkward time filled with great music that drew people to the dance floor while we waited. Adam helped get us back on track by releasing tables for the buffet, and keeping the timeline moving, flowing from speeches to the father/daughter and mother/son dances, and then to the party! When he officially opened the party for dancing, our guests literally flocked to the dance floor and they stayed there! You could see that the band was sincerely having fun and that energy was contagious to everyone. And the talent! Wow! The transitions from song to song were unexpected but flowed perfectly and kept the energy high and fun the entire time! Once the wedding ended, you would not believe the number of compliments and praise we received about the band! One of the catering staff even came up to me after the wedding and told me that she's never seen a wedding where every. single. guest. was on the dance floor - and they really were, for the ENTIRE evening! Even our 80+-year-old guests! It’s been about three weeks since our wedding and our family and friends are still raving about how great our band was. We couldn’t be happier with Adam and LPE for our big day. They truly made it a night to remember, and we’re forever grateful. We absolutely plan on working with them again in the future.

I cannot say enough positive words for what our experience was like working with the Louis Pettinelli group! We booked the Intrinsic Groove band and our entire reception was a huge dance floor party from start to finish. They accommodated all of our requests with ease. Cannot recommend this group more! They were awesome!

I am very selective about music for events as I have many family members and friends that are professional musicians. I wanted a band that could play Classic Jazz, Soul, Funk, and today's standards. Louis Pettinelli Entertainment did not disappoint. The singers, musicians, and the MC were absolutely on point. Our wedding guest danced for hours! They also performed for my daughters ceremony (violin and keyboard) and the cocktail hour (sax and keyboard) absolutely professional, not your typical wedding band. Working with Louis was easy and clear. No surprises, he delivered exactly what he proposed. he was organized in the payment procedure, and the music selection process. He took the time to listen to my concerns and addressed every single one. They could really be a performance band if they wanted to, but I am glad that they understand the flow of weddings and the needs of their clients. One more shout out to the MC. He could sing and keep the party moving. Top of the line. I cannot endorse them enough. If you are looking for a high-end musical experience with warmth and excitement for your guest, this is it. Without question the best wedding decision we made was hiring the Louis Pettinelli band for our entertainment 🎶 From the very first interaction when Louis returned my call at 10:30 PM(!!) to begin the process of planning for our daughter’s not-too-far in the future wedding in Basalt, Colorado, which went off spectacularly well 3 weeks ago, Louis was a gem to deal with. Having had a VERY frustrating experience with another band and their unwillingness/challenges in communicating which resulted in our canceling them and getting a refund, we were stunned by how friendly, attentive, thorough, thoughtful, and professional Louis, and in the end, every one of his band members, were to deal with. He made the entire planning process, which included having to almost daily hound us to provide him song preferences/timing/everything that makes a wedding go off flawlessly, I can’t begin to say how wonderful he was to deal with. Then there was the MUSIC!!!!! Absolutely unbelievable from beginning to end… The musicians were incredibly professional, arrived promptly, and were completely set up well in advance of the service, AND every single member of our 8 piece band was a delight to deal with. The music for the service, processional and recessional, cocktail hour, and then once we all moved inside to the beautiful antique barn which they nearly lit on FIRE with their energy, the entire evening was perfection. I don’t think for a minute that anyone could sit in their chairs! Since we chose not to have a sit down dinner but passed hors d’oeuvres all night, the only comments that we got the next day were that people left hungry because they couldn’t take a break from the dance floor! It was a good problem to have :-) I truly can’t even believe how fortunate we were ♥️♥️ On another note about the band that we had originally booked, every single component was an add-on; playing as the guests arrived, the processional, the recessional, playing during cocktail hour, the lighting and the sound system… Beware as every one of those were going to be charged separately and there was really no way to figure out what the final number would be. Combined that with the fact that the only way to communicate was through email – no opportunity to have a phone conversation to discuss any new details, and I was a wreck about how much it would cost and how we would get it all together. Louis' price was comprehensive and in the end I believe was significantly lower than we would have paid to the other band. The stress of not knowing and the inability to ask any questions was a deal killer for us. For Louis to give us a single number that included absolutely everything was an incredible gift. I can't stress this enough. His price was fair and the music and entire experience was exceptional :-) We couldn’t recommend Louis Pettinelli one bit higher! You’ll see from your first phone call what a delightful experience you’ll have. Put everything in Louis’s hands and you’ll be so glad that you did. Thank you thank you thank you, Louis!!!!

We hired Louis Pettinelli Entertainment (LPE) for our son’s wedding and they were fantastic. We had a jazz trio for our cocktail hour followed by a 6-piece band for the rest of the wedding. They performed beyond our wildest expectations. The musicians are all first-class performers and the two vocalists were outstanding. Our guests were on the floor dancing all night and people have not stopped talking about how great it was to have a live band of the quality of LPE. Although getting a DJ costs less, there is nothing like a live band to get the guests on their feet. Would highly recommend LPE to any bride and groom looking to have a memorable wedding reception. Louis, the owner (who also plays bass guitar) was easy to deal with, flexible and fulfilled all of bride and groom's wishes as it related to song choice and overall vibe. Definite 5-star plus band!

Louis Pettinelli Entertainment (LPE) was great at our wedding! We worked with Louis directly during the planning stages and he ensured we had everything we needed on our day, and was very accommodating throughout the process. We hired LPE for the entire event, and they offered us a classical duo (Guitar and Violin) for our reception, the LPE Jazz Duo for our cocktail hour, and the LPE Groove Quartet (all for a very reasonable price). All of them were highly professional, and the Groove Quartet brought great energy. A lot of our guests complimented them and had fun dancing! We were nervous that the groove quartet wouldn't fit in our reception space as it was tight, but Louis ensured us that it would work, and he made it happen! The only reason I am not giving them a full 5 stars is because we had initially chosen a few key songs for important dances (e.g., the father-daughter dance) and then asked for a change in the song, which was acknowledged but did not translate on the day of our wedding. That said, it was a fairly minor hiccup and we enjoyed dancing to the initial songs we had chosen any way, plus they made up for it in their energy, professionalism, and overall wonderful talent! We were very pleased with them as our music vendor, and would recommend them to others for sure!

Incredible performance and engagement from the band. We hired a 5 piece jazz band who did a stripped down set for our ceremony then plugged in to play the hits at the reception. I (the groom) grabbed a guitar and played a few tunes with the group. Such accommodating people. They integrated a few recorded songs into the flow of the evening. I really couldn't speak higher about the quality of musicians and the vibe they created for our guests. I would love to relive my wedding day again and again, but aside from my vows and ring exchange, dancing with my new wife for a final song at the end of the night alone in the ballroom was a moment I'd pick if I only got one to remember.

My experience from start to finish was great. The musicians were polite, professional and prompt. We hired a pianist and a violinist and the music was beautiful. It made my daughter's special wedding just that much more amazing. Teresa and Louis were very helpful with my questions and attentive to my needs. We needed a special band for our son's wedding in `newport to play for the cocktail party. We had so many guests tell us that the Louis Pettinelli `jazz trio made the cocktail hour on the terrace at Rosecliff very special. The musicians were supremely talented and the songs were lively, melodious, and well performed. We had requested popular standards from the Great American songbook and the jazz trio really did an outstanding job. The music was so important as it set the tone for the entire reception. They were prompt and looked and sounded great! Live music is so much better than any playlist.
