things are taking so long…Louis I was promise my albums and prints before Covid even started, you told me I should have them in December 2019…how could Covid have been the cause if it wasn’t even a thing yet? Now he doesn’t even respond to me, clearly I’ve been scammed at this point…Based upon other reviews it seems I’m not the only one either… Brides please beware!!!!

don’t buy. I’m going to have to consider legal action to get a return on my money but that doesn’t seem promising.

till no wedding photo albums! More than a year! Even worse he just stops responding! Very frustrating and very disappointing! Poor business practice. Louis was paid a lot of money - in full - and well in advance of the event. His prior reviews were positive so we hired Louis. Well it seems it is time for a more current review. Louis may take beautiful photos, but over the past year we have heard multiple excuses and empty promises about the albums before he just stopped responding all together. What bride wants to wait more than a year and still not have their wedding album? What parent wants to pay alot of money for a contract not fulfilled without even an offer of refund or compensation? We have had to turn to litigation and Louis does not even respond to our attorney. Save yourself the heartache…choose a different wedding photographer! There are alot of good ones out there!

we had a great time and were comfortable!!! An Awesome guy with lots of Energy! helped get raw reaction and lots of laughs! such a great day full of love and happiness!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if your biggest concern is feeling loved all day and want to remember such a happy fun day!

Thus, for a photographer to meet my expectations and surpass them says a lot. To start, our engagement session was above & beyond what we expected with the most amazing photos that not only captured the beauty of the outdoors, but also the fun and love between Jeff and I. To add to how awesome Louis is, when the mail service lost the CD, Louis hand delivered another copy to my front step. As for the wedding, the men had tried to tie their ties themselves that morning. But, when Louis got there he knew their ties wouldn’t meet my expectations and he re-tied all of them so they would match. In addition to rescuing the ties, he got all of the guys to smile (which let’s face it, not many men really smile in photos). Louis also worked with a four year old in the bridal party that was a little less than excited to have a million photos taken. He got him to smile and even did some fun action shots When Louis came to my home where the girls were getting ready he started right off by introducing himself to the moms and showing my mother in law how handsome her son was on his camera. When my dog (who is very shy) was less than happy about having her picture taken, he lightened the mood by throwing the ball in the backyard with her to gain her trust. He had already won our hearts and now my dogs too! As if getting ready isn’t stressful and frazzling as it is, when my maid of honors got confused with my corset, Louis stepped in. He laced up my corset back on my gown like a pro! Again another task that he didn’t have to do, but did anyways because he is fantastic! To add icing onto the cake, he even climbed into the hot vehicle to take pictures of me and my girls inside before we headed to the reception. At the reception, I had created all of my own decor and he made sure he got those shots so one day I can look back and remember every last detail!! Truly, a letter or a review conveying how awesome he is won’t describe how great he was with the “non smiling” bunch. He got grandmas to smile, the stubborn kids to smile, and even the men that always straight face the camera. My husband hates his teeth so he always straight faces the camera, but the smile and laugh I know from him is natural with some teeth showing, and Louis captured that. Not only did Louis capture amazing photos of family and friends that were planned, but he got natural photos of people having a good time too! His eye for the perfect shots is fantastic. Unlike some photographers he doesn’t make everyone stand together and take monotonous photos for hours on end, he spaces them out and lets people have fun and be relaxed while he shoots. As if he hadn’t already done enough, the humidity was roasting me at the reception and he stood outside the venue helping me fan air under my dress to cool me down. So like I said, to say he was a fantastic photographer would be an understatement because he so much more than a photographer. He puts his heart and soul into your special day just as you do. It is not a job to him, it is life to him and that comes through in the amazing work he does. So before you evaluate other photographers, look at the work Louis does. If you want the best, and you want a photographer that will go above and beyond… then you want Louis!

Louis. I took the engagement photos, and they had a very clear idea of what they wanted for some of their wedding photos. The day of the wedding Louis showed up, and I introduced myself to be polite and possibly grow my network of fellow photographers. Louis dismissed me and when I told him that I also photographed weddings, he stated, "How many have you done, like one? I've done over 500." He wasn't kidding, and it was extremely rude. In taking photos of the bride's dress, he broke one of the straps, after being told repeatedly that they were delicate. Good thing one of the mother's had a sewing kit on her. There were no photos of the bridal party done before the ceremony. After the ceremony, my brother told me that he wasn't very creative with the poses, and didn't get the ONE shot that they specifically asked for. The bridal party photos were simple and rushed, and Louis insulted my older brother by "messing" with the flower girl and confusing her. In the reception, he didn't move from his chair for over 2 hours. (One of the bridesmaids clocked it). I understand that there are no good photos while everyone is eating, but that is far too long to do nothing. The overall consensus from wedding goers was that he was extremely unprofessional and even rude at times. It was like he felt that he was too good for this wedding. The married couple shared with me that they were extremely underwhelmed with their final photos. Several months after the wedding, I contacted Louis to get a second copy of the photos so I could help my brother and his wife put together the album. He was extremely rude to me, again, and blocked me on Facebook. I didn't take any photos that day, putting my trust in the photographer, and I'm very upset that I did.

e would take our engagement photos and be our wedding photographer!! That was the easiest vendor decision throughout our entire wedding planning adventure. And I wouldn't have done it any other way! Louis has an infectious laugh, a great sense of humor, and he creates such a fun atmosphere, which shows in the photos. There's no cheesy poses - just genuine smiles, laughter, and emotion! During our wedding ceremony and reception he worked with other vendors to coordinate everything seamlessly. He knew exactly where to be and when, and helped us (and our wedding party) along as well to keep everything on time. There was zero stress!!! Photo delivery was prompt after our wedding considering the amount of images that he captured! I highly recommend Louis Torres for weddings, engagements, for family, for life! He's fantastic at what he does.

eautiful engagement photos in Lake George. We laughed the entire time and couldn't be happier with his fun and outgoing personality. My fiance really didn't want to have an engagement session because he thought it would be an awful experience but in the end, even Matt walked away saying he had a fun time. Trust me, my fiance is a tough cookie at times but Louis made us feel comfortable, made us laugh the entire time and captured our real personalities, which is what we wanted. Fast forward to our wedding day this past June and as expected, we had a blast and my entire bridal party raved about how funny Louis was. I'm pretty sure one of my bridesmaids is hiring him for her wedding next year. All of my wedding vendors were incredible, from Mike our DJ to our wedding videographer, Josh but in the end, we both felt that Louis kept the timeline and made sure everyone was moving forward in being ready and was our timekeeper. He was the best and you'll have lots of fun with him at the wedding. The funniest part was when he walked around on the dance floor and was in the action, taking photos of everyone having a fun time.

lack of important photos that we will never have the opportunity to capture again. Photos are out of focus or grainy. The flash and additional lights he set up distorted photos and caused people to look washed out. Important photos were not prioritized or taken at all! He didn’t take one photo of our entire bridal party together including flowergirls and ringbearers. The one family photo he took was orchestrated by my sister mid-reception bc she realized he hadn’t taken any. Jewelry photos are blurry. Photos of me and my Dad walking down the aisle are out of focus. He didn’t even bother to take bridesmaids’ dresses out of garment bags when he photographed them. In comparing our wedding photos to work done by other photographers, I’m shocked by the lack of creativity and effort Louis put into our day. Despite our disappointment, I was hopeful he would acknowledge his errors and be able to work with us as a professional. Instead, he refused to acknowledge these errors and became very hostile and defensive. He never addressed our concerns, and instead carried on about how insulted he was and told us we no longer have the option to choose which photos we’d like to use for our albums and prints. Over the next several months, he told us many times our items were on the way but then nothing would arrive. Finally we did receive our albums but no prints. Instead, he sent us $30 along with a very mean and inaccurate email telling me I went from his favorite bride, to the meanest, most difficult, demeaning and abusive bride. Dealing with Louis has been extremely difficult. If you are looking to hire a wedding photographer, I strongly encourage you to look elsewhere!

l of my guests and bridal party loved him too, he made it such a great time. He has such a great personality, he was making us all laugh and got awesome pictures. He was professional, on time, and super reliable. A wedding day can be stressful but he put everyone at ease and made the day flow perfectly. Any time I have professional pictures done in the future I am absolutely using him and would highly recommend him!

He had great packages and fair pricing. I would recommend him to anyone. I looked into a lot of photographers but of them all he had the best prices and the best quality.
