Louisa Ellis Woodson, Harpist

I would highly recommend Louisa Woodson for anything that you need music for. It was so beautiful and gave even more elegance to my wedding than I ever thought possible. She was so sweet to talk to and even emailed me throughout months at a time to make sure everything was right and on point. When I finally met with her for my consult to pick out my songs, she opened up her house to my husband and I and made the process so easy and simple. She went above and beyond my expectations and was perfect for my budget. She is a wonderful musician and has a awesome gift. Louisa is amazing! If you want a special touch added to your ceremony, book her! She played solo music on her harp, as well as accompanied our organist, and all of our guests talked about how gorgeous the music was. The harp is such a lovely sound for a wedding, and Louisa is very talented and just a genuinely sweet person. You'll love it!

Louisa is an amazing harpist who plays absolutely beautiful music!! She is extremely talented, experienced, and educated in performing harp, especially weddings - she even has a doctorate in Harp Performance! Louisa was very professional, patient, and easy to work with throughout my wedding planning. Since I lived in Texas and was planning a wedding in Kentucky, wedding planning was rather difficult, but she was willing to meet with me over Thanksgiving break to plan my music selection since that was the only time I was in town. I also didn't know what songs were typically performed at weddings, but she came with multiple selections she played that I could choose from. Being an extremely picky and indecisive bride, I needed to hear the songs multiple times before I could actually decide what songs would be perfect, but she was very patient and easy to work with. I also had another musician I wanted to perform a duet with her, and she was willing to meet with them before the wedding to practice together. All in all, I was extremely pleased with the music at my wedding and wouldn't have changed a thing!
